[ The Legends ]

[ Episode 48 ]

Miss Lin, I've heard much about you.

Luo Mingxuan?

Precisely.

Miss Lin, you previously told me that cooperation requires trust.

Jinxian's return is the greatest secret in our Immortal Sects.

You must not disclose it to others.

Miss Lin, please have a seat.

No need.

Whatever you have to say, just say it.

All right. Since Miss Lin is a straight talker, I won't beat around the bush.

I wonder if you would be willing, Miss Lin, to lay down

Liuhe Tianyi Sword.

Miss Lin, if you are willing to donate Heaven's Sword to Jin Xian,

our Immortal Sect will do its best to repay you.

I wonder how Jin Xian would repay me.

Killing Lu Zhaoyao and Li Chenlan.

You don't want me to?

A gentleman's word...

...cannot be withdrawn.

I hope you will fulfill your promise soon.

Jin Xian, then how should we proceed from now on?

Notify each of the Immortal Sects' Leader we'll assemble and discuss how to deal with Wan Lu Sect.

But... ever since everybody thought that at Lu Zhaoyao's hand you...

...after that, each of the Immortal Sects has been fending for itself,

as fragmented as sand. I'm afraid that at the appointed time each may harbor different feelings.

It wouldn't go well.

At present in Jianghu it is widely spread that Xu Zong Sect was destroyed by Wan Lu Sect.

We need only sit back and wait for news; we'll take advantage and strike.

Naturally all the people will be unified against Wan Lu Sect.

Sister Ziyu, you are finally back.

Where's your Liuhe Tianyi Sword?

- You didn't- - Xiao Ai!

Remember:

We are in Immortal Sect, there are some decisions that can't be avoided.

- But... I... - Don't ask me anymore.

Just remember: Wan Lu Sect

will soon have a big trouble.

What big trouble?

Lu Zhaoyao and Li Chenlan are both going to lose their life.

Why is parting from this world always so hurried?

There was not even the time to say a proper farewell.

I'd want to drink a pot of wine with him.

I don't want to have sad days.

I'll be drunk today and then let it go.

I persuaded you to go seek a medicine

and it became a push to your death.

grave of Wan Lu Sect South Hill Master Gu Hanchen Hanguang

Hanguang... Hanguang...

Neither of us was ever able to predict events in this life.

We've always been played by fate to this point.

Don't blame yourself.

If anyone's to blame, it's me.

How come Qianjin's not here? Is she feeling unwell?

Ever since she came back, Miss Shen's been spending all days either in the kitchen, making custard cakes,

or in Master's bedroom, drinking tea.

She won't talk nor listen to anyone.

Now she's probably in Master's bedroom.

Go call her here.

After all we're seeing Hanguang off on his last journey.

grave of Wan Lu Sect South Hill Master Gu Hanchen Hanguang

Yes!

Miss Shen... it's time.

I know.

Miss Shen...

Miss Shen...

Miss Shen?

I've made the custard cakes.

It's the flavor you like.

Wan Lu Sect South Hill Master Gu Hanchen

Watch.

I will avenge you.

grave of Wan Lu Sect South Hill Master Gu Hanchen Hanguang

How are you feeling?

Not bad.

From now on what should we do if you are unwell again?

If Hanguang were still here

hearing this words would make him mad again.

I always caused him trouble.

Hanguang and Qianjin went through so much

and in the end they still missed their chance.

This fate that Heaven stirs at will can really make us break into sobs.

Our fate won't be stirred so lightly.

Mo Qing, one day we'll find a solution for your inner demon.

One day we'll find it.

Miss Shen,

Palace... Senior Sister.

- Qingrong. - Today Wang Xing Sect Leader informed the main sects

that a Grand Meeting of the Immortal Sects will be held on Phoenix Mountain.

We'll discuss together the extermination of Xu Zong Sect.

I heard that Gu Hanguang was killed in Xu Zong Sect as well.

I wonder if you have any clue.

Not at all.

At present Jianghu is facing a new storm. South Hill Master, too...

Senior Sister, back then you destroyed your power.

Now it's like this. Do you regret it?

I've never regretted it.

Then I'll just take leave.

Prescription note - Qian Jin occasionally have heart palpitations...can reduce...

After checking the corpse we brought back from Xu Zong Sect have you found the cause of death?

The life was drained.

Looking at the method of the crime it loos like Jiang Wu's doing. Except...

It wasn't Jiang Wu.

I think so, too.

Jiang Wu's style is extremely rampant.

He wouldn't destroy a sect without making a sound.

Could it be an internal act in Xu Zong Sect?

There is no way to know this. After all, Jiang He is dead now.

I only have a conjecture. In Xu Zong Sect they used blades very sparingly.

Hanguang was also Jiang He's Junior in apprenticeship.

Though they had been apart for many years,

their brotherly affection was still there.

Jiang He would not have willingly thrown Hanguang in the dungeons.

So I reckon that the one who injured Hanguang,

made Jiang He throw his Junior into the dungeons and destroyed Xu Zong Sect

should be the same person.

Mo Qing, are you feeling any better?

Not too bad.

Today it seems my inner demon is not too agitated.

I have a grasp on how to suppress it.

See. I told you everything would be all right.

I'm the one who made you all worry.

What were you talking about a moment ago?

Hanguang's death is not clear.

We are just investigating this matter.

For one thing, we must give Miss Shen an answer.

For another, we'll give an answer to ourselves.

Does Xu Zong Sect's secret art still exist?

It was never found.

Do you suspect that Xu Zong Sect's trouble was due to their secret art?

I'll go check right now.

Zhaoyao, I'm a little hungry.

Make something to eat for me.

Deal.

Today at the Grand Meeting it seemed Sect Leader Chi was preoccupied.

What is it? What is there that cannot be said in front of the crowds

and absolutely required to have us called here?

Everyone, please come in.

Dear comrades, long time no see.

Jin Xian!

- Jin Xian. - Jin Xian.

Jin Xian, your continuous escapes from death fill me with true admiration.

I suppose that calling us here means you must have a careful plan.

Jin Xiu, your mind's exquisite as usual.

That's right. This secret summoning is precisely to uphold Immortal Sect's great justice

in one swoop eradicating Wan Lu Sect and saving the people of the world from their misery.

Jin Xian is still devoted to all living creatures.

But the present situation is not like it used to be.

You were defeated by Lu Zhaoyao twice.

This greatly contributed to the spread of chaos in Jianghu.

Now Wan Lu Sect in addition has a Li Chenlan.

Its might has doubled.

Allow me to ask, Jin Xian, how do you plan on eradicating them?

Jin Xiu, are you...questioning my capability?

Of course not. It's just that of all 10 major Immortal Sects,

only our sects are left now.

If we commit to this, unlike you,

we can't escape all the time.

How dare you, Jin Xiu!

Wangxing Sect will support Mr. Ming Xuan at all cost.

Sunan Sect will support Mr. Ming Xuan as well!

Mr. Ming Xuan.

Jin Xiu might have been rude, but he does have a point.

The Immortal Sects have suffered too many defeats. I'm afraid

we can't afford any more unnecessary sacrifices.

What do I need to do...to gain your trust?

Have you heard of Jiang Wu of Xin Shan?

It is said that he was the one who wiped out Xu Zong Sect.

If you take action against him and get rid of this source of evil,

Tianxuan Sect will give you our full support...

in eliminating Wan Lu Sect.

Alright. I shall do as you suggested.

What happened?

Are you alright?

-Hurry. Let's go. -Master. -Master.

-Master. -Master. -Master.

I'll go in alone.

Father. Father! Father!

Father!

[ Wan Lu Sect, South Hill Master, Gu Weichen - Hanguang's Tomb ]

You said that...you'll play with a handicap of 3.

[ Hanguang's Tomb ]

What is she doing?

-Sister... -Shhhhh

Let's not disturb her.

I thought we planned to take her out to have fun and relax.

Let's just leave her alone.

[ Wan Lu Sect, South Hill Master, Gu Weichen - Hanguang's Tomb ]

You're quite good at this.

You and Li Chen Lan are both so busy. At least I can make myself useful.

You've grown up, girl.

Did you just visit Qian Jin? How is she?

She...She goes to Chief Gu's grave every day...

and plays chess with herself.

By the way, if you're worried about her, why don't you visit her?

Gu Han Guang died for Mo Qing.

Until I find the murderer, I'm too ashamed to face her.

Pure Wave Palace

Li Chen Lan.Let's have a showdown tomorrow at the Mountain of Sealed Evil.

The victor can have Lu Zhao Yao. The loser will pay with his life.

Jiang Wu.

Mo Qing, what were you burning?

Nothing important. It's just a secret letter from the Dark Guards.

-Have they found a way to eradicate the devil in your heart? -No.

The Dark Guards reported that Lin Zi Yu was spotted in Mount Feng.

Mo Qing. From now on, just leave the trivial matters to Zhi Yan.

She seems to be doing a great job. We don't have to worry at all.

You'll just need to recuperate properly.

Alright. As you wish.

The moon is beautiful tonight. Let's go and moon gazing.

Mo Qing, do you like it?

Yes. Make another.

-I'll make a dragonfly. -Make a butterfly.

Why?

I love things that come in pairs.

What a coincidence. I love things that come in pairs too.

You're mine. No one can take you away from me.

You aren't crazy yet?

Rubbish.

I'll take you to a place.

Remember what this is?

That year you were sealed by the old Demon King here.

Can you feel the pain from back then?

Li Chenlan, you and I are now done.

Mo Qing?

Sima Rong, do you know where Mo Qing went?

In Wu'e Hall I didn't see him. I was just coming to look for him in Pure Wave Palace.

I haven't seen him all day. Wanjun Sword isn't there, either. He must have gone out.

Why wouldn't he tell me anything?

Don't panic. Just consider what kind of thing

Chenlan wouldn't be willing to discuss with you.

You owed me a life.

You wouldn't give it; I took it myself.

Starting today, all that you owe me

I'll take it back piece by piece with my own hand.

Mo Qing, what were you burning?

Nothing important. It's just a secret letter from the Dark Guards.

Zhaoyao?

I think he probably went looking for Jiang Wu.

Arrogant!

Have to see whose place it is.

If I'm arrogant, it's fine.

If you're arrogant you just have to die!

Let's go!

- Go. - Ah Wu.

- Let's go together. - Go!

I'm telling you to leave!

When Lu Zhaoyao wields this sword I think it's quite pretty.

Somehow when you hold it you look like a sissy.

Then come try it.

The more you struggle, the more it will counterattack you.

Son, listen to me.

Jiang Wu from New Mountain.

Your arrogance and your true strength

don't match each other at all.

Who's this?

It's me.

What are you doing here?

What are you doing here?
