And The Winner Is Love

Episode 7

Young Master.

Haitang.

Hold me!

Young Master.

Young Master.

Go!

Are you alright?.

I’m fine. Go find Young Master.

Haitang

Haitang

What’s wrong?

Where is Young Master?

Young Master,

she fell from here.

Are you crazy?

It’s so high. You’ll be killed.

Let’s go find her.

This way.

Haitang.

What are you doing? Get up!

Zhusha.

We should return Hall of Flames for Chief Guardian.

It’s too late.

Look for Young Master first.

No.

They are powerful.

We can’t resist too long.

You go for informing Chief Guardian.

Chequ and I will look for her.

Where are we going now?

Hall of Flames.

Why are we back to Hall of Flames

instead of going for Shangguan?

He’s closer, am I right?

Do you know where he is?

Shangguan said he would go to Emei.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master. Where are you?

Chequ.

Why so much blood?

It’s the falling trace.

Young Master must be alive.

Chequ.

This small bag belongs to Haitang.

Young Master must be somewhere nearby.

Let’s go find her quickly.

Go.

Young Master.

Young Master. Where are you?

What?

Childe Shangguan,

maybe it’s not too late.

Please go help Young Master.

Wuming,

take them back to Hall of Flames.

Yes.

Hall of Flames

Open the gate.

It’s Guardian Haitang.

We suffered from a surprise attack

and were defeated by them.

It’s my neglect of duty

for not protecting Young Master.

Young Master…

How is she?

Young Master fell down the cliff,

whereabouts unknown.

What?

Order!

Saddle up!

Hold on!

It won’t be too late after making it clear.

Haitang,

why did they attack Young Master?

Is it for the Nine Moves of Lotus God?

Elder,

I think

the urgent matter

should be looking for Young Master.

Haitang,

carefully choose ten disciples.

Go look for Young Master with me.

Yes.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master. Where are you?

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young Master.

Young…

Chequ.

Young Master. Please don’t scare me.

Young Master.

Chequ

She is dead. What should we do?

Don’t scare me.

Chequ.

Chequ, what should we do?

Young Master. Wake up.

Please don’t scare me.

Young Master.

Have you found Young Master?

Chief Guardian,

we are late.

What’s wrong with Young Master?

It’s my fault

for not protecting Young Master.

Young Master.

Haitang.

Hold me!

Young Master.

Yupan,

waiting for five years is not a waste of time.

We Yuwens

finally get what we deserve.

Yuwen Taboo Yupan’s Souls

Don’t worry.

I will take good care of Muyuan

so that your spirit

is able to take pride

in your son.

Hall of Flames

Hall of Flames

Miss, you are awake.

Come quickly.

She’s awake.

Miss, you are finally awake.

Yes.

You’ve been in a coma for two days

and had a fever all the time.

I thought you couldn’t hold.

Don’t be scared.

We are not bad people.

I…

I saw you’ve been in a coma all the time,

so I dressed you with my clothes.

I have to leave now.

Miss,

you can’t move.

You are injured now,

so you need to have a good rest.

Don’t worry.

They can’t find you here.

I know you are evading being killed.

How do you know that?

When I went hunting days ago,

I found

they had chased you for a long time.

So I thought

if I couldn’t draw them away,

they would find you out.

Then I

use someone else’s body to replace you.

There are often wolves

in this area.

They thought you were eaten by wolves.

I saw the bracelet

is your personal belonging,

so I put it on the body, too.

Nobody would doubt that.

You found me by chance,

but you saved me.

I owe you

my life.

It doesn’t matter.

You can call him Uncle Wei

and call me Aunt Wei.

We are hunters

and we’ve lived here for about five years.

I didn’t expect

there are households

in this valley.

It’s a land of idyllic beauty.

You know Tao Qian, right?

His poem is about this place.

Don’t listen to his nonsense.

This place

is Xishan Sunset Peak.

Xishan Sunset Peak?

Now,

may you lie down?

You need to have a rest.

Be careful.

I will

cook something for you.

Let’s go.

Have a good rest, Miss.

Good job.

After Muyuan succeeds to the Leader,

I will promote you to Chief Guardian.

Thank you.

But

an accident happened.

What is it?

It’s related to Haitang.

When I was killing Chong Xuezhi,

Haitang helped her in a sudden.

She was unwilling to follow your orders.

I’m afraid she may have betrayed you.

I have my arrangement about Haitang.

Muyuan thinks highly of friendship.

It’s hard for him to be pacified.

If he is too sad,

it may affect

the accession.

Watch him.

Tell me in time if anything happens.

Yes.

Young Master.

Hold me!

Shining Hall of Flames

Chief Guardian,

Young Master doubted

that we have traitors in Hall of Flames.

Haitang…

Even if she didn’t participate in it,

she must have hidden something from us.

Waiter.

Here you are.

A pot of water, please.

Okay.

What’s going on today?

Got nothing.

I’d leave for work. Please enjoy.

Alright.

Uncle,

are you a hunter here?

Yes.

May I ask you for something?

Have you

ever seen a girl?

She’s a very beautiful

little girl

and loves smiling.

Who are you?

Why are you looking for a girl

in Xishan, the remote place?

Please take it easy.

She is my friend.

A few days ago,

she was lost near here.

I’ve been looking for her recently,

but I failed.

I wonder if you have seen her.

In Xishan,

beasts are everywhere.

I’m afraid it's hard

to get the missing one back.

Just leave here quickly.

But

this girl is very important to me.

It’s about her life,

so please kindly think about it.

If she is important, how could you let her fall down the cliff?

Since she is missing,

submit it to the will of God.

Just resign her life

to her fate.

Waiter.

Are you leaving?

Yes.

See you.

Fall down the cliff?

How could he know that?

This is yours,

right?

I really don’t want to suspect you.

So,

I think it’s necessary for you to give an explanation.

Haitang,

you came to Hall of Flames at your seven years.

We grew up together,

living together,

and practicing together.

Talking about friendship,

we are like siblings.

Talking about position,

Young Master respect you

and care about you very much.

Why?

Why it’s you?

It’s my fault.

I tried to help her,

but she just got the small bag.

Well.

Then tell me

why the killers

didn't hurt you.

Maybe it’s because

only Young Master is their aim.

Good.

In this case,

we are now in front of the memorial tablets

of the ancestors of Hall of Flames.

Make a vow

that Young Master’s death

has nothing to do with you.

Do you dare?

I don’t know.

You don’t dare.

But I dare.

I will catch

every one of them

and push them off the cliff.

Let the wolves

tear their bodies

little by little.

I will let everyone in the world know

the punishment of betraying

Hall of Flames

and killing Young Master.

Of course,

you may be one

of these people.

Chief Guardian

From now on,

I don’t want to see you again.

Leave here.

To Muyuan

Be careful.

Here.

The medicine is ready.

Thank you.

Finish it before it gets cool.

The medicine is bitter.

But it’s effective.

Yes.

Uncle. Aunt.

Actually, I have a question.

Why do you

live in this valley?

You really want to know?

To be honest,

it’s no big deal.

He and I

were martial artists

before.

In the martial arts world,

people may fight,

or kill people now and then.

One day,

our son was killed.

Then, we understood thoroughly

the martial arts world,

and lived here in seclusion.

Excuse me

for mentioning your sorrow.

It’s okay.

It’s been years.

We may think of him sometimes.

Now we’ve been relieved.

By the way,

you never talk about you.

You were injured those days,

so we didn’t mention it.

Did you offend someone?

Why did they kill you?

In fact,

I didn’t offend anybody.

My name is Chong Xuezhi,

Young Master of Hall of Flames.

Since you were

martial artists before.

I believe

you must have heard of my father.

He’s Chong Ye.

He went mad while practicing his skills

and killed many martial artists.

Then,

I inherited the Leader of Hall of Flames.

I intended to clear Hall of Flames

and my father’s name

so that people would trust Hall of Flames again.

But nowadays,

many other sects

are eyeing Hall of Flames with hostility.

And also

some followers betrayed Hall of Flames.

Did I

say anything wrong?

No.

Miss,

it’s late now.

Good night.

-Uncle. -Old man.

Are you alright?

Uncle, are you okay?

I’m fine.

It’s wound from practicing

when I was young.

My legs feel painful when it’s cool.

It doesn’t matter.

Can’t it be radically cured?

There is no way.

But

there is a herb

that can ease the pain.

It’s named tinder agaric.

Is tinder agaric

rare?

It’s not rare.

There are some on the cliff over there.

But

both Uncle Wei and I are old.

It’s hard for us to get it.

So we can only let it be.

Why are you telling her about this?

Good night.

Good night, kid.

Be careful.

Brother Muyuan,

It’s the first

and only time I call you like this.

When you see this letter,

I’ve left.

It’s my fault

of not protecting Young Master.

But I had no choice.

I have a twin sister,

named Yanhe.

We were orphans

and taken in by Elder Yuwen at our age of seven.

He took us back to Hall of Flames.

But he hid my sister

in somewhere outside

and promised me only if I work for him

he would let us reunite.

Over the past years,

I’ve been watching Young Master for him.

But I can’t believe

he really killed Young Master.

Chief Guardian.

I’m sorry.

Young Master was killed because of me.

I’ve been secretly in love with you for years.

Your love for Young Master made me unhappy

and jealous.

After Young Master died,

I feel very guilty.

So I can only

die to apologize.

Where did you get the letter?

Chief Guardian,

I found it in her room.

You may leave now.

Yes.

Chief Guardian,

I don’t think Haitang would do harm to Young Master.

If it’s really her,

she must be forced to do so.

That group of people came to look for trouble.

It seems they would spare none.

It’s not like what Haitang said only one people did that.

Chief Guardian,

it feels weird outside.

What happened?

What’s wrong?

Haitang killed herself.

We found her body

in the hill behind.

When Young Master was killed,

you were not in Hall of Flames.

Where did you go?

Chief Guardian.

On that day,

we went to the neighboring country.

Any witness?

Yes.

The tavern keeper there.

He was there through the day.

Chief Guardian.

We leave together that day.

And

we drank a lot.

It’s said

you were out too.

Where did you go?

Tell me.

Where?

I asked him out.

Elder in Chief.

I haven’t felt well recently.

I’m afraid I would get the old illness again.

So I asked him to buy some medicinal materials.

Chief Guardian,

when will you finish questioning?

Now in Hall of Flames,

one thing is more important than finding the killer.

For me,

Nothing

is more important.

After Young Master died,

Hall of Flames doesn’t have Leader.

Disciples are not of one mind.

Hall of Flames can’t go without a Leader.

Elder Yuchi and I have agreed

to choose a new Leader as soon as possible.

A new Leader?

Elders.

Young Master just died.

We still haven’t found out the killer.

Now you are talking about

choosing a new Leader.

Don’t you feel

sorry for Young Master’s spirit?

Chief Guardian.

We do this for Hall of Flames.

We’ve watched Young Master growing up.

In our mind,

she's like our own granddaughter.

But she’s gone

and she won’t come back.

You have to accept the truth.

We’ve decide

to choose you

as the Leader of Hall of Flames.

You decide?

Be the Leader yourself.

Muyuan.

Have you ever thought

we were entrusted by Leader Chong Ye

with Chief Guardian and Elder.

We are responsible for protecting Hall of Flames

and solving the problems.

Hall of Flames has been at risk for the five years.

It’s getting worse recently.

Disciples are not of one mind.

At this moment,

if the other sects attack us,

what should we do?

Elder Yuchi and I

chose you as the Leader of Hall of Flames.

It’s because we want you

to lead Hall of Flames

so that everything goes well as usual

and Hall of Flames can stand in the world

with the reputation

regained.

I believe

this is also

Young Master hopes to see.

Chief Guardian.

You are the most prestige people

in Hall of Flames.

So you are obligated

to be the Leader.

All disciples.

Yes.

Chief Guardian, please

be the new Leader.

Chief Guardian, please be the new Leader.

Grandfather.

Elder Yuchi, please rise.

Everyone, please rise.

In this case,

I will be the Leader temporarily.

One day,

if we have a new talent capable of it,

I’d like to make way.

Okay.

Tomorrow is a lucky day.

The ceremony

can be held tomorrow.

As you arrange.

Aunt.

Morning.

Morning.

Let me help you.

No, thanks.

You haven’t recovered, have you?

I’m already fine.

Look.

Okay.

Thank you

for saving my life.

Otherwise,

I may die.

You are so beautiful.

Everyone would like to save you.

By the way,

I have a question.

Please go ahead.

Have you been married?

Not yet.

Then have you engaged?

Not yet.

Do you have your loved one?

Loved one?

I’m still young.

I didn’t think about it.

Aunt,

why are you asking about this?

Just a casual talk.

It can’t

be rushed.

When there is a chance,

it'll be okay.

Please do the rest of this.

I will go get firewood.

Let me do it.

It’s hard for you

and you’ve done a lot for me.

But I didn’t do anything for you.

Let me do it.

Be careful.

Okay.

I’m leaving now.

Be careful.

Okay.

Be careful.

Got it.

I will live here in the future?

Yes. It’s great, right?

Gugu.

New clothes.

By the way,

why did they kill Xuezhi?

Then why did they kill Haitang?

-Haitang was… -Well.

Gugu.

Change the clothes.

Okay.

Why did you tell him so much?

Can you tell me

why Haitang was so cruel-hearted?

She just left us like that.

Maybe she thought we wouldn’t forgive her.

Or maybe she couldn’t forgive herself.

I still can’t believe

Haitang would kill Young Master.

Chequ.

Maybe

we shouldn’t

have told Chief Guardian about the small bag.

I feel something is strange.

How do you think?

Long Standing

How about the killers?

All silenced.

Nobody

would know this in the whole world.

Master,

Chief Guardian…

I mean

Leader Muyuan.

If he find out

the truth of this matter,

what should we do?

There is no evidence.

How can he find out?

I’m just worrying

Muyuan will never rise again.

Maybe he can’t feel relieved

in a short while.

If he can’t get over it,

how can he be the Leader of Hall of Flames?

Spread the message

to let all sects know

that Chong Xuezhi has died.

The new Leader

is Muyuan.

Master.

If we do so,

all of them will know we are weak now.

They will eye us with hostility.

That’s what I want.

In this case,

Muyuan will be busy

with dealing

with other sects

and won’t focus on Chong Xuezhi’s death.

I see.

I will arrange it now.

Hall of Flames

Uncle. Aunt.

I’m back.

Miss,

where have you been last night?

Aunt, I’m sorry

for making you worried.

I thought you left us.

It’s impossible.

I still haven’t requited you.

So I won’t leave without saying goodbye.

I went to a place.

Where did you go?

I have a surprise for you.

Hall of Flames.

Yuwen Muyuan.

Enter the Hall.

The former Leader Chong Xuezhi passed away.

Now Hall of Flames

doesn’t have a Leader.

From now on,

you will be the Leader of Hall of Flames.

Hope you won’t live up to people’s expectations

and lead Hall of Flames

to regain the reputation.

Here I Yuwen Muyuan vowed

to protect

Hall of Flames

with all my efforts

in my remaining years.

Leader.

Miss,

you should be able to see

we both

like you very much.

What a pity!

It’s all because

you are from the wrong family.

It’s all because

you are the Young Master

of Hall of Flames.

Miss.

Please don’t blame us.

When your father got mad,

he killed a lot of people,

including my son.

His name is Wei Zhen.

He didn’t live as old as you.

In martial arts world, life and death are decreed by fate.

But my son

shouldn't have died wrongly.

He was so young

and he even didn’t get married

before he got killed.

As his parents,

we have to take revenge.

Miss,

it's fate.

Please accept it.

From now on,

everyone in Hall of Flames

only need to do one thing,

finding out the truth

of former Leader Chong Xuezhi’s death.

All traitors must be strictly punished

to comfort her spirit.

Act without fail.

As Leader commands.

-Dear. -Uncle.

Are you alright?

Uncle, are you okay?

I’m fine.

It’s wound from practicing when I was young.

My legs feel painful when it’s cool.

It doesn’t matter.

Can’t it be radically cured?

There is no way.

But

there is an herb that can ease the pain.

It’s named tinder agaric.
