[ The Legends ]

[ Episode 38 ]

Jingqiu, have you saved Pavillion Leader Tang?

Deacon Chi, now there's only the two of us.

I'll be very frank with you.

Regardless of the rest, if that Jiang Wu can help our Immortal Sect get rid of Li Chenlan

are you really not interested?

Qin Qianxian has long been a hindrance.

First he opposed Jin Xian's awakening.

After Jin Xian awakened, the Revered Lady perished.

Jin Xian vanished.

Qin Qianxian had a part in these things, too.

Such a person may as well be killed.

If you can really get Jiang Wu to keep his word,

I, Chi Tianming, am willing to lend all my strenght.

I will make him keep his word.

After Qin Qianxian dies,

Li Chenlan will die for sure.

As for Xiongtian...

Don't worry about that. I'll talk to him myself.

On the day you go to Thousand Dust Pavillion, I'll send disciples after you.

But, Jingxiu, if this fails,

your name is as good as in the mud.

It won't fail.

Sect Leader, Lin Ziyu's asking for audience.

Bring her in.

Sect Leader.

- Withdraw. - Yes.

I'd never have thought that it would be Captain Lin from Wan Lu Sect.

What brings you to Immortal Sect?

I'm not the Captain of the Dark Guards anymore.

Then what are you here for?

For a deal.

What right do you have to make a deal with me?

I know all the weaknesses of Wan Lu Sect.

Say, do I have a right or not?

Then how do you expect me to believe you?

The whole world knows that I, Lin Ziyu,

turned on Wan Lu Sect.

Among the freemen I have nowhere else to go.

I think, Deacon Chi, you should understand one principle:

your enemy's enemy is a friend.

Fine. Miss Lin, you were once blind to true valor,

now you're willing to join our Immortal Sect; it couldn't be better.

Miss Lin, you mentioned a deal.

I wonder what you're asking for.

I only aks for Lu Zhaoyao to die.

How did you know I was here?

I smelled it.

Here, this is a cake for you.

Thank you.

If you feel bored, you can read too.

These flowers and grass drawings are real pretty!

"The metal Hexagram"

"by the strength of a Buddhist master,"

"draw the force of an ancient holy weapon"

by the strength of a Buddhist master, draw the force of an ancient holy weapon

Boss, I'm here to check my account.

Check, check, check... you check every day, how many more coins can be there?

You think you, Lu Zhaoyao, can get rich overnight?

Look!

So much? It's all mine?

Young lady, you really know how to make money.

Miss, if I've done something inappropriate in the past,

please pardon me. It was me, too blind to see greatness.

Miss, would you like to start a great business with me here in the Land of Sojourn?

To be our money shop's prime client?

- What can a prime client do? - A prime client...

Zhaoyao, first things first.

I'll look for Cao Ning and break off the engagement immediately.

Let's go to Empty Shop first.

No... Prime Client!

Hey, consider that Prime Client!

Sister, Brother-in-Law.

Good morning, customers.

Have you found a remedy for the Empty Pill?

You two don't know...

I've devoted all the shop's energy, the research of every day and night,

this Empty Pill Extreme Edition provides a temporary outburst of force,

so after use it will absorb equivalent energy.

As long as you can find a huge energy source to compensate,

you can solve the problem of exploding.

So, have you found the remedy to the Empty Pill?

The remedy... still requires some time...

Give me another one.

I won't.

- Don't worry, it's not to give it to you. - Ziyou!

What did you buy another Empty Pill for?

You want to bring it back as a souvenir?

I'll give it to Ah Rong to check. See if there's any solution.

You little vixen, stop right there! Stop there!

You destructive enchantress! Where do you want to run?

I was just looking for you. I gave you back your money, yes?

Quick, call your son. We'll sign the divorce.

Call my son here...

my son went up to Heaven!

What... what divorce do you want to sign?

- Give me back my son! - What do you mean, up to Heaven?

How do you go up to Heaven, now? If your son went up there, what's that to do with me? How will I give him back to you?

It's because you did those good things...

You did so many things for my son...

He obtained full merits...

My son went up to Heaven...

He can't come back!

Doing good things for you people with high merit can even send you up to Heaven?

No one told me about this rule in the Land of Sojourn to begin with!

I looked on helplessly as my son went up to Heaven.

I looked on staringly as my son flew away and disappeared...

My son!

My son! My son!

Son, come back!

Mother misses you!

- We're not signing the divorce anymore? - You're a widow, by now.

Who's there to sign it?

For two Empty Pills I got myself a name as a widow!

- Don't mention it. - Enchantress!

- Let's take shelter at Sima Rong's. - Stop right there!

Give me my son back!

Neither you nor I can use the Instant Travel, now. We have to take a shortcut.

"Preceding the storm, wind fills the air". (Quote from Tang poet Xu Hun, "East Tower in Xianyang")

I'm afraid the world will soon not be so peaceful.

Ah Rong, there's people coming out of the tree again!

- Ah Rong? - Chenlan?

So this is the Empty Pill Extreme Edition?

That's the thing that blasted me.

That bunch in the Land of Sojourn can't be relied on.

They only said that the solution lies in force replenishment.

But on how to replenish it, they have no idea.

Ah Rong, check it out for me.

See if you can find a solution.

Don't worry, of course I'll do my best.

I haven't eaten all day.

Little Round Face, do you have anything to eat here?

Yuezhu, take Zhaoyao to find something to eat.

Let's go.

Lin Ziyu went to Chi Tianming for shelter.

Are you certain?

The scout I sent

were all lost there. I haven't heard from them again.

Lin Ziyu knows Wan Lu Sect well.

She will surely find out that it was you following her.

Hence, Jiangzhou is not safe anymore.

How about you bring Yuezhu along

and come back to Wan Lu Sect with me?

But I can't bear to part with that crabapple in the yard.

That year

Yuezhu closed her eyes just under a crabapple tree.

I had no time to bring her back.

I could only take a seed from that tree.

Now this crabapple tree in this yard

is the only connection I have left with her.

Look, this is me in Ah Rong's drawing.

Only... why are the ears different?

This is a question for Sima Rong.

Zhaoyao. We should go.

Little Round Face, see you later.

Miss Lin, when can you give me that map of Wan Lu Sect?

It's all in my brain. Of course, Deacon Chi, you can have it whenever you need.

He's Sima Rong's man.

Each of these four Hills Masters from Wan Lu Sect has unique skills.

Sima Rong especially; he's the hardest to deal with.

Sima Rong is Li Chenlan's eyes and ears.

Let's make him blind, first.

Jinxiu, did you bring any good news?

Chi Tianming and Xiongtian have agreed.

They'll send disciples to Thousand Dust Pavillion.

and attack Qin Qianxian.

Very good.

You got what you wanted. Let Tang Yue go.

I hadn't thought you were a fool for love.

Go get her.

Come with me.

Who'd have thought that playing with people's hearts was so funny.

Empty gestures.

I considered you a friend,

but you have no integrity. You associated with Jiang Wu.

I guess I saw wrong.

Once you're out, go back to Voiceless Sound Pavillion.

Don't mind the matters of Jianghu anymore.

What happens next

may make you hate me to the bones.

But the day will come when you understand.

This pill involves the use of magic. Always hard to break through.

Qin Qianxian's magic is first in the world.

Perhaps he has a way to solve it.

Yuezhu

Yuezhu? What's with you?

Ah Rong, why did you draw me wrong?

My ears don't look like this at all!

Where did you find it?

In the study.

Put it back.

No way. You drew it wrong. You have to change it.

I won't. Put it back.

Today I have to go to Wan Lu Sect.

- Be careful at home by yourself. - I won't be careful.

Done.

Many thanks, South Hills Master.

No need for ceremony. In Wan Lu Sect

it's rare to have a patient as obedient as you, Pavillion Leader Qin.

Come in!

South Hills Master, I heard that my uncles's illness was healed,

so I came to see him.

Have a chat with your uncle. I'll take leave.

What are you doing here? They're having a talk between uncle and niece.

I came to see Big Beauty!

Uncle, what plans do you have for the future?

I'm more or less recovered. I'll soon go back to Thousand Dust Pavillion.

But I'll wait until Lu Zhaoyao is all right.

Uncle, may it be that for Demoness you really...

Absolutely nothing romantic.

What does it mean? So do you like Sect Leader or not?

But only I can like Sect Leader!

That Little Ugly! It's enough that Sect Leader likes him.

But Sect Leader doesn't like you, so you can't like Sect Leader.

Is that clear?

Pavillion Leader Qin, Miss Zhiyan,

the West Hills Master would like a word with Pavillion Leader Qin.

With me?

Does Qin Qianxian really have a solution?

Pavilion Master Qin's powers have reached those of an Immortal Master.

If even he does not have a solution,

then there really isn't anything we can do.

Chenlan,

if the Zhaoyao that returns is fake,

will you still love her?

I only love one Lu Zhaoyao.

One?

Indeed. There was only one to begin with.

Sect Leader Li is also here.

Ever since we said goodbye at Thousand Dust Pavilion, it's been a while since I last saw Pavilion Master Qin.

I've never expected to see West Hill Chief again,

even though I came to Wan Lu Sect.

I wonder why West Hill Chief wants to see me.

This is the pill that is causing Zhaoyao to explode.

There are still some things I do not understand.

I wanted to ask for your advice. This pill originates from Qizhi Land.

There is a powerful skill attached to it.

Has Pavilion Master Qin seen it before?

This is also the first time I'm seeing something from Qizhi Land.

The things that Lu Zhaoyao experiences, although I've never heard of them,

but I've seen a formation in an ancient scroll in the Hidden Library.

It can reconstruct blood and flesh.

Perhaps it can help resolve this desperate situation.

I'd like to hear all the details.

This formation is called Six-Way Diamond Formation.

This formation needs a ritual weapon as guide.

Using the power of an ancient Master,

to draw the power of the ancient artifact.

To start the formation and reconstruct blood and flesh.

I think if blood and flesh can reconstruct,

the problems that Lu Zhaoyao's body has due to the pill,

will definitely disappear.

But,

this formation has disappeared in Jianghu for a long time.

I don't know if it's real or not.

I will try. We can use the Liuhetianyi Sword as the ancient artifact.

As for the ritual weapon and the ancient Master,

since Sect Leader wants to try,

then I will depart today and return to Thousand Dust Pavilion to retrieve the ritual weapon.

Thank you.

Also, this formation is exceptionally dangerous.

I will need Sect Leader Li's cooperation to contain the formation.

Of course.

There is one more thing,

- that requires Pavilion Master Qin's advice. - Go ahead.

I've heard, Jiang Wu

is Pavilion Master Qin's inner demon.

This is the mistake of my life.

May I ask, Pavilion Master Qin,

how did you pull out the inner demon that day?

Xu Zong Sect's former Sect Leader gifted me with a medicine,

to assist me in pulling out the inner demon.

I've seen you before. You're a member of Wan Lu Sect.

Where is Sima Rong?

He's not here.

No need to look anymore. The one in the picture is not you.

You're just a piece of wood.

Burn it down.

Ah Rong.

I'm Yuezhu.

Not a wooden Xiao Zhu.

My picture.

My books.

Once Qin Qianxian returns,

and Zhaoyao is better, I'll return to Jiangzhou.

Yuezhu is the only one left at home,

I'm a bit worried.

Ah Rong, thank you.

Between the two of us, there's no need for thanks.

You two are quite close.

Sect Leader!

Beautiful One left.

He left last night.

He didn't tell me!

He'll be back in a few days.

Demoness, really! You know Shiqi has an impatient disposition.

Shiqi!

Blaming me again?

Shiqi. Are you okay?

I'm angry! Beautiful One didn't say anything and just left.

I don't care, I'm going to go get him back!

My uncle just went back to Thousand Dust Pavilion to retrieve a ritual item.

He'll return to Wan Lu Sect in a few days.

He'll be back in a few days?

- Yes. - You promise? I promise.

I'll give you one, little niece.

We're approximately the same age, who's your niece?

My seniority in Wan Lu Sect is quite high,

when little monster was just a door guard,

I was already East Hills Chief. You're little monster's disciple,

aren't you in the rank of my niece?

Sect Leader, West Hills Chief's yard was set on fire last night.

Yuezhu!

- Check the surroundings. - Yes!

Yuezhu!

Yuezhu!

Yuezhu.

I'll definitely fix you.

Ah Rong, no need to fix me anymore.

I'm a wooden figurine. I'm not hurting. I know already

I'm fake, not the real Yuezhu.

Xiao Ma is you, yet Xiao Zhu

is not me.

The real Yuezhu

doesn't have wooden ears.

Ah Rong, there is only one Yuezhu.

I don't want to be the fake one.

Yuezhu,

listen to me.

I won't listen. My body is not hurting at all.

But my heart hurts a lot.

Just that in the future, there will no longer be any petals falling from the crabapple tree.

Ah Rong,

you must take really good care of yourself.

Yuezhu.

Yuezhu, don't worry.

I'll definitely find a way to fix you.

Is there really no way to fix this Little Round Face?

Let's go back to Wan Lu Sect first.

I'm afraid I'll have to find another place to live in the future.

Who would do such a thing? Do you have any clues?

A few days ago, the spy that was sent to find Lin Ziyu didn't return.

It seems like,

we alerted the enemy.

Lin Ziyu?

We can't let her roam like this anymore.

Lady Lin, I heard this time you just burned Sima Rong's yard.

But wasn't able to kill Sima Rong.

I'm afraid after today, Sima Rong will return to Chenji Mountain.

This method of alerting the enemy, I wonder how Lady Lin will explain.

Sima Rong has stayed in Jiangzhou City for so many years,

many information and secret reports are in his yard.

I burned it all down, it was still quite the damage.

Good. Then when do you plan to give me Wan Lu Sect's map of formation and traps?

The map of formation and traps is highly confidential. We can't have anything go wrong.

I still need a few more days.

I'll give you five more days. To work with us Immortal Sects, you must show some sincerity.

Lin Ziyu,

what exactly are you doing?

[ Wan Lu Sect ]

[ Thousand Dust Pavilion ]

Pavilion Master, you've travelled a long way. It's getting late so please rest soon.

Pavilion Master taught us that life and death of all things are predestined.

Why did you meddle in it today?

I heard you're going to contain some kind of formation?

I need to quickly nurse my health these days.

Nurse? How will you nurse it?

Sima Rong, you allowed him to do this?

Chenlan, with your current condition,

it's probably not suitable to cast the formation with Pavilion Master Qin.

There's no one else.

But Hanguang's words are not without reason.

Recently, your body's Dark Vapor is becoming more severe and your mood is fluctuating a lot.

I'm worried you won't be able to contain the formation.

Contain the formation? Contain your own coffin first.

But speaking of that, I heard from Pavilion Master Qin

that Xu Zong Sect has a valuable medicine.

It was a great help to him when he was pulling out his inner demon.

Hanguang, do you know this medicine?
