[ The Legends ]

[ Episode 31 ]

Mingxuan! Mingxuan!

Luo Mingxuan, I do what I say.

Today

you must die.

Suruo...

Mingxuan... Mingxuan...

- Mingxuan... - Suruo...

You are my husband.

My wife

Zhaoyao!

Moqing,

This life has never followed my wishes.

Unlike you.

What is it?

My time's over.

Don't cry!

- Sect Leader Li. - Sect Leader.

Where's Lu Zhaoyao?

I... I don't know.

Where could she have gone?

She... I don't know where she'd go, either.

Where could she have gone?

She...

She would go back to Wan Lu Sect!

Ah Da, I want to keep searching a little longer.

Can you please have the Dark Guards take Brother Cangling and Liu Wei to get treatment?

What do you want to search for?

Also, what's with the Sect Leader mentioning the Previous Leader?

It's a long story, I'll tell you later, all right?

Why do I feel like I've been here before?

Lu Zhaoyao, the inner demon born of you is finally extinguished through you.

Lu Zhaoyao?

I was born of you in the first place!

Qin Qianxian, if the world knew that your heart was moved like any man's,

what would you do?

What happened?

Nothing.

Miss Zhiyan

Have you found him?

What about Brother Cangling?

He's been taken to the South Hills Master's residence for treatment. The Dark Guards reported that Liu Wei is fine,

Liu Cangling may have to be tended to for some time.

- Sect Leader. - I searched up and down Chenji Mountain.

I also searched the Cleanse Dust Palace. She's not anywhere.

She can't disappear.

She can't disappear.

- Sect Leader Li! - Sect Leader!

- Sect Leader! - Sect Leader Li!

Men, come here! Quick, ask South Hills Master to come here!

Zhaoyao...

You're awake!

How did I end up back here?

Of course you must come back. Otherwise who'd give me the money?

What money? Haven't I paid already?

You don't know. A moment ago you went overtime.

Though it wasn't much money, our shop doesn't allow credit.

Based on your worth,

one way or the other we still need 13,000¥.

It's a robbery! The time I delayed wasn't even enough to take a breath.

Not to mention, when I bought this Empty Pill wasn't it to use it?

If I could delay the time that means I'm that good.

What's the logic of asking me to compensate? I won't.

Can't you be reasonable?

Reasonable?

This rotten pill of yours made me explode!

If I get any physical damage how will you repay me?

"When the time is over,

it will explode".

Where are you going? Are you paying or not?

If you don't pay, the money from your good deed in the future will be even less.

Purchases will be even more expensive!

The pill was bought by Mrs Zhou. Go ask Mrs Zhou.

Since I'm her daughter-in-law you should put it on them.

Put it on Mrs Zhou's bill?

Where are they?

Who?

My husband and mother-in-law!

I don't know. Before they left they said, while you weren't there,

they'll take your birthtime and horoscope

and make an assessment of your past life.

My past?

I wonder if they'll get scared off.

- I'm sorry. - Make way!

- Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! - Speak! Why did you do it?

Isn't it just 13,000¥? It shouldn't be a big deal to you.

There's no need to get so mad.

In a while I'll return all the money on your bill, isn't that enough?

What?

You also put the bill on my account?

Weren't you talking about this? Then what are you angry about?

Why did you lie to me?

I've been searching in the Land of Sojourn for decades

just to find a virtuous wife for my son.

And you used such a trick to fool me!

If you aren't happy, let's just hurry up with the divor-

- Let's go! - Mother! It's absolutely impossible!

What's impossible?

Son, with your deep morality,

you deserve the best girl in this world.

Why would you pick this... this...

Son! Your mother's been looking so many years for you,

how could you set your eyes on such a dissolute lying seductress?

Hey, old woman, the people who dare speak ill gossip of me in my presense

by now must all have gone through several reincarnations.

Even if now you are in the Land of Sojourn, you have to watch your mouth.

What should I watch?

Look for yourself. Look! Lu Zhaoyao,

in which year, month and day, where and with whom was doing what?

It shames me to read it out loud! Look for yourself!

In the year of the metal buffalo, tenth month, 3rd day, on Chenji Mountain, under the archway to Wan Lu Sect,

Lu Zhaoyao... wh-what?

and with Li Chenlan... crude acts... wild motion...

This... this... What is this? Name of... what crime?

What?

With whom? Did what all night?

And crude and wild? What's that word at the end?

What's this thing? Huh?

If you call me, Lu Zhaoyao, for murder or arson I'll admit to any of that,

but what is this now?

Me with Moqing? What's this rubbish? Gossip?

Who recorded this? Are you teasing me?

- Mother! - I didn't!

- I'm smashing this thing! - Let go! Let go!

Good going, you all! You even dare steal things from my shop!

Give it!

And you, Lu Zhaoyao! You dare peep into the details of your own past?

100,000¥! One cent less, I'll drag you to the justice and get you locked up forever!

Robbery! I have no money!

Arrest them! Arrest them!

What's this? What are you doing?

- You... you... you caught the wrong person. - Let go of me!

Daring to steal my things!

- Shameless! - You people, let me go! Let me go!

Let me go!

Pure Wave Palace

Did you find her?

Not yet.

Zhaoyao... Zhaoyao... come back...

Enough to make him sleep all night.

South Hills Master, I heard that Brother Cangling is also...

Yes. Everyone of you is so careless.

Can you leave me in peace a little?

Looking at his wounds, his father had already been cured by Jiang He.

There's no great damage.

If you want to see him, follow me. I'm just going there.

All right. All right.

Right, you must take good care of your Sect Leader.

If you don't, when the Demoness comes back she'll be grieved.

Yes!

When did this happen? Wasn't it Miss Zhiyan?

How did it become the Previous Sect Leader?

What a mess.

Zhaoyao... Zhaoyao...

Where are you?

Where are you...

Zhaoyao...

You liar!

- You damn liar! - Mother!

- Enchantress! - Enough.

- You're really heartless! - Mother...

- You enchantress! - Don't be mad.

- You damn witch! - Mother...

The year of the metal buffalo, tenth month, 3rd day...

I'm very familiar with this date

Because around that time, 10 days before, the 9th month, day 23,

it was the day I killed Luo Mingxuan for the first time.

In that battle I sealed him and immediately put him to sleep.

I was carried back to Wan Lu Sect by the Dark Guards.

I grappled with King Yama a few times, but in the end I got lucky. (Note: Yama, King of Hell. Means she grappled with death)

It took 7 days and 7 nights to Gu Hangguang to save my life.

After realizing my revenge, I was so utterly pleased.

I didn't care how Gu Han Guang scolded me.

I held a banquet in Wan Lu Sect...and feasted magnificiently for three days and nights.

I got so drunk that I was unconscious for half the month.

They said I burned down the Summit of Teasing Moon that night.

I became a drunk maniac whom everyone fears.

Could it be that night?

Don't worry. The Chief of South Hills has excellent medical skills. He'll be fine.

Do you know your Uncle's whereabouts?

I don't know where he is right now. I haven't heard from him for a long time.

Liu Su Ruo and the Gold Deity are dead.

The Immortal Sect needs to face the consequence of this incident. Also regroup and purge those involved.

Zhiyan, do you intend to return to Qin family to manage the affairs?

Right now, my senior sect brothers are handling the affairs. It should be fine.

I don't know when Brother Cang Ling will regain consciousness.

I can't leave Wan Lu Sect yet.

Shen Master,

since you're still worried about the Immortal Sects, why aren't you returning to Rain View Pavilion?

At least Rain View Pavilion still holds a position in the Immortal Sects.

Get me the needles.

Thanks.

Physician Gu has the heart of a healer.

I'm not a benevolent physician. I only treat the people who I want to treat.

If I fall sick will you treat me?

I'll surely will do everything in my power.

Hot water.

I'll get it.

Zhiyan, I will go.

You stay here and watch over Liu Cangling.

Phoenix's Song Hall

- Here. - Thanks.

This plaster patch is too ugly. I won't put it on.

It's up to you. Look around you.

You're still being so picky.

Being good looking is what I chase after for my whole life.

A brute like you wouldn't understand it.

- Say that one more time. - Enough.

We haven't found the Gold Deity. The two of you...

are fighting over such a trivial matter.

Never did I expect that Lu Zhao Yao will actually come back to life.

With Lady Chang Yu and the Gold Deity dead...

I'm afraid Wan Lu Sect will lord it over the world from now on.

If you put in a bet, you need to concede defeat. This time they've won.

No.

The Gold Deity has the gold body for protection. Surely the Flame of Phoenix will not kill him.

I will surely find the Gold Deity.

The Flame of Phoenix can burn thru anything in the world.

Deacon Chi, you should stop deceiving yourself.

Not true, as per Deacon Chi,

The Gold Deity will surely not be easily burned by the flame.

I want to see his body, be it dead or alive. Let's go.

Sect Leader Jiang, now that the Gold Deity is dead.

If we want to contain Wan Lu Sect, I'm afraid only Xu Zong Sect's Forbidden Spell can do the trick.

I wonder if Sect Leader Jiang is willing to offer the Forbidden Spell?

If Sect Leader Jiang is willing do it for a just cause, I'll surely nominate you for our leader.

It's getting late.

You and Sect Leader Tang need to get some rest. I will take my leave.

Let's go.

You were being too direct. Don't you know the Forbidden Spell is a taboo for Xu Zhon Sect?

I only wanted to test him, and see if the rumored Forbidden Spell...

is real or not?

What did you find out?

He avoided my question. He's trying to keep it a secret.

I'm quite sure that the Forbidden Spell does exists.

It's hard to survive the noble path. To eliminate the evil and be a defender of the righteous way.

It's a long journey ahead of us.

From the looks of it...

the Gold Deity is really gone.

How long more is he going to keep us locked up?

Zhao Yao.

Don't be scare.

We didn't do anything bad, they wouldn't give us a hard time.

Just need to pay some fees to get free.

If you don't have money, I will pay for it.

Pay with your big head.

Forget that she lived off you and lied to you. You even got locked up here.

You still want to pay her fees?

You are fox enchantress who deserves to die.

The money you owe our family.

- Pay it back. - Mother.

After all, fate brought us together.

Fate?

How about this? Help me to pay for the fees first. When we get out, I will sign the divorce papers.

I will find someone to do good deed for me and return the money I owed you.

Don't worry, I don't want others to owe me.

Naturally I also don't want to be in other people's debt.

Get out? It's so big world out there, how can I find you?

Then what do you want to do?

Don't sign the divorce papers yet. Return the money first.

I need the marriage license in order to find you again.

That will do.

Hey, two of you...

Once you pay the fees, you can be released. Stay locked up for a few more days if you don't have money.

We have it. She is still my wife.

Put her fees on my account.

- Please release all of us. - Please release us.

Release us.

Thank you, prison guard.

Miss Lu!

Miss Lu!

What's your name?

I'm Cao Ning, first name Mingfeng.

Wait for it. I'll find people to do good deeds for you.

I'll clear all those debts with you.

Miss Lu!

Actually, it's okay even if these debts aren't paid.

I'll speak to my mother myself.

Also even If you don't sign this paper...

No, green book (divorce papers) needs to be signed, the money also needs to be returned, I won't miss a single coin.

I have someone else I want to marry.

Just that before this, can you help me with one more thing?

Wh-What?

Can you lend me some more money?

You're awake.

Ah Rong,

Chenlan, you need to quietly recuperate right now.

Ah Rong, do you know Qizhi Land?

Qizhi Land?

I heard it was a secret place. Regardless of your status and powers,

it only accepts those who has fate to go there.

Although there are rumors in Jianghu,

but most are hearsay.

Most are just to embellish the story.

Those who personally gone and saw,

are very few.

Are there any methods for me to enter Qizhi Land?

You think Zhaoyao went to Qizhi Land?

But this Qizhi Land only allows those who are fated.

Yet on this world, only fate

is something you can't obtain by your efforts.

You should relax, perhaps we'll hear from her in a few days.

I can wait for anything, except for anything about her.

She better be safe and sound in Qizhi Land,

or else, even if I have to go to the Ninth Heaven (highest heaven),

and dive into Nine Springs (underworld), I'll find her.

You want to use the Ninth Heaven Skill?

Absolutely not.

Ninth Heaven Skill extensively consumes one's state of mind.

With your current state, if you use Ninth Heaven Skill,

you'll barely escape from death!

Ah Rong, no one else understands,

do you also not understand?

We've been fellow apprentices for many years.

Although you were born in the Sect, but how many times

we talked all night. Your feelings toward Zhaoyao,

how can I not understand?

But today,

if you use Ninth Heaven Skill to find her,

that's risking your life!

How can you ask me to just watch you do that?

I'm sorry, Ah Rong.

Shouldn't have worried you with this issue

but it concerns her so I have no choice.

Boss, I want to see my previous life.

100,000 coins.

It's that expensive?!

If you think it's expensive, you don't have to see it.

Yes, I'll see it.

Shopkeeper, I'll pay.

You'll pay?

Thank you.

Don't be scared. I'll take you away.
