[ The Legends ]

[ Episode 29 ]

Master...

- Do you want to be coaxed? - No.

I think I have to coax.

How would you do it?

Admit my mistake.

What was your mistake?

I shouldn't have allowed my little sister to take action on her own. I made Master worry.

Aside from that... I didn't do anything wrong...

You...

I worry.

Of course, of course, when I go back I'll yell at her. How could she make Master worry?

If I worry it's for you.

What's to worry about me? Rather, Master, how's your wound?

No harm. I'll be fine after a few days of rest.

Master, I want to bring Liu Cangling back to Wan Lu Sect, too.

You're worried about him?

How could I? How could your pupil be worried about anyone but Master?

I'm just concerned that they'll use him again and cause more accidents.

Wait a few days until my wound is healed, and I'll go with you.

Thank you so much, Master!

Bear in mind: you can't act on your own.

Who's there?

Lin Ziyu?

You... what did you come for?

In two hours Liu Suruo is going to kill Liu Cangling. Unless you go to Phoenix Mountain in exchange for him.

Brother Cangling?

Wrong. Why would I believe what you say?

Believe what you want.

What are you doing?

I... I... I want to go down the mountain, stay a couple of days in the village of Shunan, and do good deeds for you.

Tell the truth.

Liu Suruo wants me to go to Phoenix Mountain in exchange for Brother Cangling.

- You can't go. - I want to go.

If you go you're just offering them your blood as a gift. Then all our efforts will be for nothing!

But they say they want to kill Brother Cangling! I can't ignore it!

With the power you have you couldn't beat the most inept of any sect's disciple, who do you think you can save?

I...

I learnt the Teleportation Technique, I can use it to bring Brother Cangling back with me.

What's the rush? I've already talked about it with Mo Qing. As soon as his wounds are better we'll save Cangling together.

- I can't wait! They'll kill Brother Cangling in two hours! - They're lying!

If you don't go, nothing will happen to Liu Cangling anyway!

No way. I don't care.

I told you: you can't go!

I'm sorry, Demoness, I can't risk it.

Qin Zhiyan!

Revered Lady, we've waited such a long time. If Qin Zhiyan doesn't come

what will you do, then?

She will come.

Where's Brother Cangling?

The real and the fake Qin Zhiyan already made a fool of me once.

If you want Liu Cangling, give me a proof.

What kind of proof do you want?

Let's try and we'll know.

Today I was able to come, the same way as I can leave. Bring Brother Cangling out first, I want to make sure he's all right.

Cangling!

Brother Cangling.

Brother Cangling?

Qin Zhiyan!

Blood!

First promise that if I give you my blood you'll let us go.

I promise.

Miss Zhiyan

I've had an injury and can't use the Teleportation Technique. Find someone to take me to Phoenix Mountain.

Phoenix Mountain? Haven't we already stopped the Grand Meeting of the Immortal Sect on Phoenix Mountain?

Cut the crap. I'm telling you to take me there, just do it!

I'll go report to the Sect Leader.

Miss Zhiyan, how did you get hurt?

- I'll report to Sect Leader now and call South Hills Master here. - No need.

I'm not going anywhere.

Revered Lady. I heard you say earlier that you would only draw blood.

Fine.

Lock them up.

You said you'd let us go.

- Revered Lady... - I said I'd let them go, but not that I'd let them go immediately.

Liu Suruo...

Jin Xian hasn't been awakened yet. In order to prevent any mishap it's best to lock the two of them up.

As things are now, we must avoid the smallest risk, when we are at a hair's breadth from success.

A miracle! You actually came on your own for the change of your dressing.

An Si, come help me here.

This is... a new medicine ingredient?

Yes. And it is extremely rare.

Do you need a servant to test it?

No need. Don't I have someone ready just in front of me?

- Go on, let's apply the medicine. - You want to test it on me? - Are you honored?

As I see it, this wound you have can't be healed in a short while.

I'm just adding some Rebirth. Let's watch its prodigious effects.

- An Si, brew it. - Yes.

Isn't this medicine for external use?

Didn't we say we are testing it? I have to put external application and oral administration together to know if it works.

Then what if it's lethal?

What are you afraid of? Didn't you say early on that you were always prepared to die?

Brother Cangling, you must be fine.

- Father! - Don't come here!

- Pavillion Master Tang. - Pavillion Master Tang.

- I'm here to verify Qin Zhiyan's identity. - Yes!

Brother Cangling, you will be all right.

Mingxuan, I've endeavored for so many years.

I can finally see you!

That aisle that you walked me down to, that year... I've been looking forward to your awakening

to walk to it with you once more.

Great Way of Death Sky falling, Earth in darkness

Void of light, universe within

hunger deep and obscure craving

Motionless, break away!

Everyone, I'm rejoicing. I have now found the person meant for me.

The person I'm willing to grow old with.

As of today I, Luo Mingxuan, am pledging to Liu Suruo

to spend a lifetime together.

- Felicitations Jin Xian! Felicitations Revered Lady! - Felicitations Jin Xian! Felicitations Revered Lady!

I guessed right! I guessed right!

"Guessed"?

At first I was afraid this medicine may cause you some rejection.

I didn't expect it would be so fitting.

Before I used the medicine I still wondered

whether trogopterus dung or cuttlebone matched it best.

Or maybe Phoenyx root, mangosteen...

Shoud I kill you? I asked myself that a lot of times.

Or maybe loropetalum, hairyvein agrimony, eclipta...

Anyway, in the end I guessed right.

I really am a prodigy!

- Hey, look at the sky! - What is it? What is it?

What's going on?

You just got better! Don't go showing off!

- Small! - Big, big, big!

Three three two. Eight dots. Small! Give money, give money!

You've won all morning. Are you tricking us?

Am I that kind of person? If you don't have money to play just go!

If you have no money what are you playing at?

- With no money you still want to bet? - Let's go. - Wait, wait! Sit.

Let's do this: I'm staking here all my winnings from the last few days.

You lot shake the dice. Fair enough?

Fine. Stake it!

- Small! - Big! Big! Big! Big!

One one three. Five dots. Small!

Wait, wait! It's big! It's big! We won!

What was that blasted wind?

I'm asking you all, where is she?

This subordinate doesn't know.

Sect Leader!

- Where's Qin Zhiyan? - Miss Zhiyan last night wanted to be taken to Mount Phoenix.

Then she said there was no need. When I came here both Misses Zhiyan were gone.

The Dark Guards at the door said

that they think they heard fighting inside last night.

Sect Leader?

What was that blasted wind? It doesn't count! It doesn't count!

Sect Leader!

S-sect Leader!

Lu Zhaoyao! I know you're here!

Zhaoyao! Lu Zhaoyao!

Lu Zhaoyao!

Lu Zhaoyao!

If there's anything you can talk to me!

So you already knew.

Whatever you're planning, you can tell me. We can dicuss it together.

If Luo Mingxuan didn't wake up, everything's easy to say.

If Luo Mingxuan woke up, there's nothing to talk about.

This score is between me and him. No one is allowed to help. And no one is allowed to stop me.

Even if I'm dead I'll crawl out from hell

and use my carcass and my dry bones

to make Luo Mingxuan's Golden Body go to waste!

Land of Sojourn

You must not be alone.

You've worked so hard.

For this moment, any hardship was worth it.

- Make way! Make way! - What's with her? She's crazy!

- Make way! - Slow down!

Make way!

Sister!

Sister,

what's with the rush? If you have anything to say just talk.

Buy a few Empty Pills for me.

And here I wondered what was the urgency.

I'm minding my own business here, were you afraid I'd run?

I don't have money now. Buy it for me. I'll pay you back later.

This... I... You want me to buy the things in my own shop?

Will you do it or not?

This... this... I'm afraid there's no way...

Sister... It's not that I don't want to help you.

Even though I'm the one who opened the shop,

I have my own difficulties.

I'll make it short. You must let me finish, otherwise really no one can help you.

First, my real name is not "Ziyou".

Whatever it was, I forgot it too.

So if you want to repay me, it's impossible.

Second, in our Land of Sojourn we have a rule of steel:

I can buy things for you,

but the condition is that we must have a family relationship.

You've thinned so much.

You don't like me anymore?

How could that be?

I've kept good care of all your things

because I was sure that sooner or later you would come back.

Slow down!

As a blood sacrifice to Phoenix Mountain, I'll wish you happiness with your own life!

Just hearing it, I feel joyous.

Now you are finally back.

We can complete the wedding we left unfinished.

If it weren't for that Lu Zhaoyao, we would have become man and wife long ago.

Fortunately she's dead now. There's no one to bother us again.

Lu Zhaoyao died?

A few years ago she wanted to get Wanjun Sword.

She died in the Sword Tomb.

How has the Immortal Sect been doing?

Ever since you were sealed off, the Immortal Sects have been disunited like grains of sand.

They are not of one mind as they used to be.

But it is fine. We can still hold our own with Wan Lu Sect.

SInce Lu Zhaoyao is dead,

Wan Lu Sect's Hill Masters

shouldn't have been strong enough to fight us.

Why did we get such result today?

With just a few Hills Masters of course she could not have achieved such a success.

But the current Wan Lu Sect Leader has many tricks.

Mingxuan, I suppose you'll remember who he is.

Who?

The Son of the Demon King. Li Chenlan.

Where is Chi Tianming at present?

He's waiting in the Phoenix's Song Hall with the other sect leaders.

They're waiting for you to come out and discuss matters, presiding over the meeting.

Fine. I'll go and have a look.

Young lady, I see your figure is upright

Lady, what are you doing?

Your butt is tight, too. You may as well tell me your birthdate and horoscope;

let's see if it's a good match with my son's horoscope.

Lady, I think I'm not fitting for your son.

Consider it again. If you agree I can give you anything.

No, no!

Girl! Girl! Don't go! Don't go!

I'm willing to get married with your son. We can have the wedding right now.

But I have one condition: you have to give me the Empty Pill as dowry, immediately.

Girl, your figure's upright.

Your butt is tight, too. Fine! It will be you!

We'll have the wedding right now. We'll sign the contract.

I'll present the Empty Pill to you right away.

I want the most expensive.

As long as my son likes you, any price is fine.

No need for the horoscope?

I have a bunch of horoscopes. What else do I want?

I have a daughter-in-law!

I have a daughter-in-law!

I have a daughter-in-law! Son, come, quick!

Mother has found you a good wife.

My son is timid.

From now on you two are a family. Don't be mad at him.

Why are you standing there? Hurry up and sign the marriage contract.

Once the contract is signed, we'll go buy the dowry.

Son, don't you like her?

Sign!

Say you do.

I... I like her.

As long as you like her everything is fine!

Hurry up, sign!

Quick, sign! Your bride is even more in a haste than you!

Quick, sign! Come on, here!

Here, sign! Sign!

Wonderful! Wonderful!

I have a daughter-in-law!

Wonderful!

Wu'e Hall

Reporting to Sect Leader. We have news that Jin Xian came back to life.

I know I should not have come to Wu'e Hall on duty.

It's only because Qin Zhiyan betrayed Wan Lu Sect and donated her blood to Liu Suruo, thus reviving Jin Xian,

- ...so, I reckon... - Why are you certain that Qin Zhiyan betrayed Wan Lu Sect?

Qin Qianxian's whereabouts are also unknown.

Why don't you doubt it's him?

I'm guessing, too.

You're hiding something from me.

Captain...

Sect Leader! Please, Sect Leader, calm down.

Step aside!

Sect Leader, your eyes...

Come, people! Lock Lin Ziyu in the dungeons!

Sect Leader! The Captain's devotion is obvious to all.

Until the whole truth is revealed, Sect Leader, please reconsider.

Shut up!

If you plead for her again, you'll be held with her!

Sect Leader!

What do you think your devotion is worth?

You're nothing but a dog under Li Chenlan's command.

Envoy the Dark Guards as back-up on Phoenix Mountain.

Yes.

Are you awake? How's your wound? Let me see.

East Hill Master, I'm indebted to you for your care.

We actually came to this place.

You know where this is?

A recess in Sushan's maze.

Then what's the difference from that place before?

It's even harder to get out.
