=The Wolf Princess =

=Episode I=

Between Southern Chu and Western Turk

There was an ancient wolf tribe

It was said if one could get the secret of the Wolf Family

Then he could get longevity and supreme power

But 18 years ago

The Wolf Family was destroyed by internal disorder, the wolf king died

Tribe collapsed

Do you hear anything?

It seems to be wolves

Years later, several wolf orphans in the military

were organized into wolf guards by frontier military

They were taught to punish evil and reward good

The leader is called Yan Qing

But the secret of the Wolf Family

seemed to be forgotten

and became a fictitious legend

How is it going?

The two bandits you released on purpose

have run towards the direction of the military camp of Southern Chu

Soldiers indeed have a good relationship with thieves

What should we do now?

What are you thinking of? Take all the valuable back

Burn the rest

Look at you

I don't even have any comment on you

You went to the army when 12 and made numerous achievements in the war

Why are you still just a second lieutenant?

Do you have any self-knowledge?

It doesn't matter, I don't think it's good to be promoted

Look, your status is so high

But are you free?

Don't trick me

Let me ask you, recently it was said in Southern Chu

A group of monsters made the night raids on the bandit camp

What's going on?

Monsters? I don't know that

Maybe those people are insane

Mischievous

Here is the letter from your father

It arrives today

My father wrote to me?

He left me and ignored me more than a decade

I thought he had forgotten me

Take it and read it carefully

Then as for the event today

Shall we just let it go?

Get out

Are you okay, lady?

You seem to go out of the town for tomb sweeping

Or for worshiping?

May I ask your name?

I am just a commoner

It's not worthy knowing me

Wait

Commoner with so much money

You want to disguise and get out of the town

It's not your business

What if I take it my business?

What are you doing?

Rob in public?

Not at all

Look, you are just a common lady

But with so much money

It's not safe, right?

Come on

Take her to the official

Okay

Sir, please

Please do not expose me to the officers

The money is for saving my sister

This is where they ask me to send ransom money

Sir

It may be better for you not to go in

I've told you

Don'r be afraid, just wait here

I will take your sister out

And give her to you, okay?

Well, what's your sister's name?

Xue

Xue, then what's your name?

When you come back successfully

I will tell you

Well, it's a deal

Bro Tong, protect her here

Others, come with me

Ok, Sir

Excuse me

The crossbow is an ordnance, right?

Who are you?

I am here just to ask for some water. Do you believe it?

Okay

It's indeed an ordnance

It's a capital crime for keeping it

Kill him

Sir, in the backyard, there are indeed

many girls taken by force

But not a girl called Xue

Say, where is the girl

called Xue?

Hero, I have Hua and Yue here

But I don't have Xue

Well, it seems you refuse to be convinced until grim reality

Jingfeng, ask Bro Tong to take the girl here

Ask her to recognize her sister

Sir

Sir, hurry up

Sir, well, that girl has run away

Didn't you stop her?

No, I don't know what happened

I fainted away when you left

You! It's in broad daylight

You break into others house and hurt others in public

It seems you don't care about laws at all

Your Excellency

This group of people took girls by force and hid ordnance

I have caught them for you

How will you appreciate me?

You dare to frame the good

Come on, tie him up

Hero

I really don't know the girl named Xue

The ordnance was brought by these people

The women were taken by them, too

I didn't know anything

Yes, you say you stand up for others

But you have no evidence at all

How can you declare Councillor Huang guilty?

Is it right?

Of course not

According to the law, if one refuses to report the facts

Provide places for the crime to assist in shielding

Or buy the stolen things, it's also a crime

Even though what you were saying is the truth

He can not escape from the nation law

And you

As a constable, you fail to report the crime

You can hardly absolve yourself from the blame

Forth Childe, why are you here?

Let me see

You are taller and stronger

Brother, I went to pick you out of the town

But couldn't see you

I heard that something happened here

I guessed it was you

Whether you are

the second Childe from the mansion of Yan?

Be low keyed, be low keyed

Uncle, sorry to keep you waiting

Why are you so late?

Don't mention it

I met a group of officious soldiers

It took me so long to get away

Now you should be careful when depending on others for living

I know

Here are the bank notes we've said before

You've worked hard for these years

It's what I should do

And there is another thing

Your mother got the old disease

Fatsia is needed

Why not ask for his Highness?

It was useless

Well, I will deal with it

You have to think it over

Remember

Your identity is special

Don't save a little but lose a lot

Don't worry, I know that

Brother

Bro

Long time no see, you look more valiant

Come on, sit here

How's it going?

You've achieved so much in the army, congratulation!

Bro, don't say that

If without your support

for setting me in the most dangerous spot

It is hard for me to make the achievements

You and me are good brothers

Don't say these

Well, I got a new stuff recently

It may having something to do with you

How about having a look?

My mother's jade pendant

Where is it from?

A mysterious woman gave it to me

She said it had something to do with you

I didn't believe her before

But later I thought I should give it to you

So bought it with a ingot of gold

Where is the woman?

It seems she is

in Southern Chu

She lives in the inn of Southern Chu Temple

But

I bought this half a month ago

I don't know whether she's still there

I will leave if there is nothing else

Why are you in such a hurry, bro?

I got some good tea

I just want to invite you to have a taste

No need

Second Childe, see you

He just believed it so easily

He must doubt a little bit

He has been looking for his mother for 18 years

He will go to check, anyway

Besides

If he couldn't deal with difficulty

How could I compete with him for so many years?

Eldest Childe, you are so wise

My third brother died in a young age

Now only we three left

We all have the right to inherit the title of nobility

The forth is self-contained

He looks down upon Western Turk

Then the hardest one to deal with is my second brother

If he gets married with Yourou

it will be worse

Yes

Son of a singing woman with low status

want to compete with me?

How dare he

Boss, I have surveyed before

There is indeed a female pilgrim in the temple

You wait here with them

I can go by myself

Take Bro Tong together to help

Can you be straightforward?

Please, please

Bro Tong, let's go

Yes

Lady, why not staying for longer?

It's not good for me to stay for a long time

Miss, the porch was infested with insects

In order not to bother you

I specially send some incense for repelling insects

Thank you

You're welcome

Lady, I will go to fetch some hot water

You can take a bath to relax

OK

She is so young

How could she hold mother's jade pendant?

Where is the wallet?

Lost outside?

Miss, the wallet is just in your hand

Not bad, you know I am in the room

You can calmly find an excuse to get out

It's okay to let you go, but you can't shout out

You didn't take my money

You're not for money

We didn't know each other

You can't come for revenging

No matter what you want to do, let me go

We can negotiate

I want to rob you of your fair

Though the temple is small, there are still some guards

Only mad man will come here for beauty

And though you catch me

You still have a sense of propriety

So you should be a gentleman

Lady

Let me tell you

You are the first one to say I am a gentleman

Are you praising me or shaming me?

Let go of me first

I am just a weak woman, I can't threaten you

No way, you are so smart

I can't handle if let go of you

Lady, why did you bolt the door?

Lady

It is you

You are not afraid?

Why should I be afraid?

I was played around by you

Don't you afraid I will revenge?

You've made achievement for wiping out the bully

You should be praised

How can you revenge?

What if we are caught by those people?

You are frontier military with high honors

Even if Councillor Huang is powerful

He dares not to hurt you

You would get beaten at most

and just suffer pain of the flesh

But you've indeed made a contribution to people

It's not bad

Thank you

Just help a little bit by chance

No need to thank me

Tell me, what are you doing here?

Is this what you sold others?

I have never seen it before

Really?

Now we don't have any conflict of interest

It's no need for me to lie to you

When did you come here?

Today

You witnessed my going out of the town, didn't you?

Who lived here before you came?

You should go to ask the guard

However

There are not many people in Southern Chu come to Western Turk

Even fewer will come to the temple

Expect for me

Few people lives in the inn

According to your words and behavior

You should be from rich family

I guess

you're tricked by others

I have nothing to do with it

Don't worry, I will keep it as a secret

What kind of powder do you use?

I never use powder

Rouge?

Let alone rouge

Then it is the candlelight

You looks so beautiful under the candlelight

Wake up?

What's wrong? What happened?

Masculinity incense

What? What is masculinity incense?

Aphrodisiac incense for men

It is for you

She lives in the inn of Southern Chu Temple

But I bought it half a month ago

Bother deviates this time

Xiaojin

I am not a gentleman

Play this trick with me

What's the point?

Sir, a group of people come

Is she the person on the morning?

I see, I see, go ahead

Sir, a group of people come

I felt something is wrong

Your highness, Your highness

Your highness, you can't go in

Your highness, Your highness

There are female pilgrims here

You can't come in

We are arresting escaped criminal

Someone witnesses him here

Come on, search

It is rude to break in at night

Your highness, Your highness

Let's go

You can't go in

Lady, what's wrong?

Somebody is in trouble

He gets us into trouble

Sir, they are coming

How about escaping from the window?

Go, go, go

You can't go

I am a man

without any good fame, right?

You are a woman

You stay with me alone at night

It will be terrible if others know this

They take the incense here tonight

It means they know you will be here tonight

The rumor will be the truth if you run away right now

Just because I am a woman

I can't stand such a rumor

What should we do?

You want to marry me?

Don't worry, I won't do that

Now that they want to catch us as adulterers

Then just let them make it

Who are you?

I am a wolf guard of frontier military, who are you?

What? You are the wolf guard?

You, don't you say you are a childe from rich family?

You bastard! You dare lie to me!

You, put on your clothes first

What's going on?

Your Highness

Where did you go?

I felt bored and went out for a walk

Xiaojin, what are you doing?

Who is the man?

Lady, he said he was a Childe from rich family

I, I just...

Shut up!

My maid has done such absurd thing

Sorry to make you laugh at us

Now that it was a false alarm

I won't bother you

Go, go, go

Wait

Don't you take him away?

He bullies my maid

You should punish him

You didn't mention this before

Shut up! Still have an excuse?

No, I

Not a big deal, don't make it so big

Well, you are right

I don't have the right to order you

It's my fault

Sir, don't be angry with me

After returning the town

I will apologize to Mr. Yan

Your, Your Highness

Your words make sense

He lured a maid

He should get punished according to the law

Tie him up

You've gone too far

I didn't agree to be taken away like this

Aren't you the third son of Zhang ?

Boss

You used to be my eldest brother's follower

It seems you've accomplished something

You turn to an officer

Second Childe, why are you outside?

Where should I be if I am not here?

No no no

I

Let me ask you

What do you mean by arresting my bro?

He lured a maid

I am just acting by law

Are you blackmailing me, finding fault with me?

I'm not, second Childe

It's just a misunderstanding

I promise I won't do it again

Again? You are saying again?

How about teaching you a lesson this time? Beat him

Second Childe, I was wrong. Second Childe

Please stop it, second Childe

I won't do this anymore

Second Childe

That's enough, shall we leave?

Where the hell does she come from?

You could just ask her

Right

Are they gone?

Yes. They left last night

I was worrying that two girls

might have trouble leaving at night

so I wanted to ask two attendants to send them back

But when we came here

the room has already been empty

You know where do they live?

That's the privacy of our guests

We never ask about that

That's pretty fast

Got drunk in the street and fought with the patrols with your followers

You just got back for one day

and you caused me so much trouble

Father, you really wronged me

We were just trying to learn from each other

I didn't expect that it got out of control

Eldest brother, is Zhang San fine?

Not near the verge of death

He just got one of his legs broken

How about I leading my followers to visit him?

What are you going to do there?

Jue, you go

See? How understanding father is!

The trouble caused by you should be dealt with yourself

Don't forget to bring him some gift money

What is caused by Jue?

Father

Second brother is still in his hangover, do not believe him

If you don't have any other instructions

I've got plenty of work to do

Excuse me for my leave

Go ahead

After today

my relation with Elder brother

is literally broken

I'm afraid if we get into fight later

father will be outraged

So I decided to move out

Tell mom for me

No, you can't

Your room

mother's asked the servants to keep it clean

If you are moving out without anyone attending to you

she will be sad

It's fine if I move out

I've got many good friends

The point is that I will be free

I heard that the cause of Your Lord's disease is the bad blood circulation

There is a patent medicine in Southern Chu that is the cure for that

My mother used to be the doctor in the royal palace

She passed the prescription down to me

If Your Grace could trust me

I'd try to make the medicine for you

Really? That would be great

The world is so small

Who is that?

That's the one

I mentioned many times

The

princess of Southern Chu

She was raised in the Cold Palace

Southern Chu lost their battle 2 years ago

Till then, the king thought of his daughter

So he sent her here to be the pawn

Poor girl

Let me introduce you

Good

There are some herbs that are quite difficult to find

How about this

I will ask my servants to collect them all and send to you

I'm bothering you again

Your Grace, it's my honor

Mom

Ling Long, here you are

Greetings, forth Childe

How come?

This is?

This is my second son

He just came back from the frontier military

Nice to meet you, second Childe

She looks so familiar. I must have met her somewhere

It would be a great honor if I met you before

So pretentious

My second son is used to

behaving like this in the army

and talking so casually

Please don't mind

Thanks for your work today

Go home early and rest

My pleasure, pardon me

He's really haunting

Fine, just keep pretending

What's her relation with Eldest brother?

Ling Long is a poor child

But she is still the king's daughter of our enemy country

We can look after her

But do not stay too close with her

Yes

You are always right

See? When people are old, they like nagging

Listen to it but do not take it seriously

Oh

You've talked about her

She's your friend when you were the pawn in the Southern Chu?

Yeah. Back then, I didn't have much experience of the world

Without Ling Long and Aunt Li

I wouldn't have come back alive

There must be some problem with her

Prying a girl's house like you are doing now

You really look like a lady-killer

Stop it. I finally figured it out

why my eldest brother is setting me up with her

Jinx

The princess of our enemy country

Whoever gets into relationship with her must be screwed

Then why are you staring?

I'm telling you, girls like her

are definitely not gonna be bullied in the Cold Palace

Nor would she in the Western Turk

She is obviously the wolf eating meat

but pretending to be an innocent rabbit

There must be problems

Are you doubting that

she might be the spy sent from enemies?

Listen, considering conspiracy

she could fool people around her as she likes

Considering martial arts

Bro Tong was beaten in a quite short time

What's the most important part

her mother is now swept aside

The king will never fear being betrayed by her

If I were the King of Southern Chu

if I didn't send her to be the spy

I must regret

The girl in pink is called Yourou

Her father wants to marry her to me

She is pretty

It's she that will marry you

not her father

Why are you feeling so afraid?

I can't explain it

Please come in

Let's go

No, we can not leave

I must find out what they are doing there

Aren't you trying to hide from Yourou?

Don't you think about climbing the wall again?

A great man shouldn't care for those petty things

Are you coming?

I am a swordsman

I still got my professional integrity

Fine. See you

Yourou, you might not know

Although Ling Long is a pawn here

she was sent Western Turk in the name of political marriage

She is the pawn from the enemy country

Who dare marry her if he is ambitious?

They dare not even they are not ambitious

It's said that when she was born

A broom star fell from the sky

People like her is cursed to drag her family to death

Her father, the king, was scared on the scene

So he left her in the Cold Palace with her mother

No wonder. She is a princess anyhow

How could she live a life like this

That king sent her to be the pawn here

might because he wanted her to die

You tell me

Have some tea

Have some tea

She is pretending again

Excuse me for the long time waiting

Bring the spice plate

The Gardenia grows quite nice this year

Except for the fragrant power, I use them to make some essence

It would be perfect to apply them to your face

Would you like to have a try?

Ladies, this way please

Hold on

The maid seems unclean

I don't want her to touch my face

Ling Long, I want you

It seems you are seeing yourself as a real princess

You should know you are in Western Turk

You are no better than a common girl

You

You are right. Let me help you

I want all of these things

Send them to my house soon

Yes

I'm leaving

See you, ladies

They are fools

Seeing us swallowing their insult

They are willing to spend large sums of money

buying our most ordinary spice

They do not buy the spice but the feeling of superiority

The more foolish they are

the better we could carry out our plan

Let the words out

The price of fragrant powder and essence next season

will be doubled again

Yes

Are the herbs from Madam Yan here now?

Yes. I have already checked

They are exact the right amount

There are 3 taels of fatsia in it

Wrap 2 and a half

Find a chance and send them out

But the housekeeper in Yan's house said

that's the medicine for the Lord Yan

I am a princess from the enemy country and when I show my friendliness initiatively

of course they are glad to accept

But the medicine I make

they will definitely not take it

At most, they will bestow it to their servants

So, as long as the effect of the medicine does not go wrong

nobody will care

if any ingredient's less

Good for you, lady

So I'm going right now

Interesting

Keep an eye on Ling Long

When she leaves

and comes back home

Who she meets, I need to know all

Do you think she is suspectable?

Whether there is any problem

I will not comfirm until looking into her

Bro

Why are you back till now?

Something big happened at home

Don't irritate father later

Come with me

Is he angry?

Go gather the wolf guards

Got it

What? The royal tribute was stolen?

If Your Majesty knows

we Yan's family would be ashamed to guard the land

No matter what way you are going to take

the tribute must be found in seven days

Father

As the supervisor

I shall not be spared the blame

But too many people know me

which may cause attention and leak the information

Second brother stays long in the army

and he sure can be trusted

It would be better if he investigates it

He is out all over the years

and not familiar with the capital

It's not good to give him the task

Father, you don't have to worry

Second brother always has his ways

and he's got many skills in the army

What's more, if he needs

I will offer my help at any time

What's your opinion?

Now that brother recommends me with great effort

I shall not let you down

Don't let me down

Second brother, I'll appreciate your effort

My pleasure

Take the corpses out

Yes

There is no obvious evidence

Can you solve the case in seven days?

How many? Seven days?

At most fourteen hours

See?

What is this?

The wheel tracks of the carriage

Just now, the chief guards said

that's the carriage the thief used

to send out the tribute

Now maybe they have been out of the town

Their carriage is out

but not the tribute

You got it?

Everyone, gather your weapon, follow me

Yes

Stop

Later, you spread secretly

and surround the Steamed buns store

When I give the order, you pour in together, understand?

Yes. Boss

According to what you said

the jewelry is in the store?

Right

Boss, how do you know it's not in the carriage?

See the nightcart?

What's wrong with the nightcart?

One nightcart weighs at most 50 kilograms

But the wheel tracks are so deep

With lots of jewelry in it

the tracks couldn't be light

We have investigated

the Steamed buns store's the only one

that opened recently

It's one street away from the warehouse

I see

So it is

Second brother is really intelligent as expected

Thanks for your work

The rest work like arresting the thief

will be left to me

I solve the case and you arrest the thief

And you get the credit

Is there any good thing like that?

Yes

Bro

You are the frontier military

You don't have the law enforcement power in the capital

I arrest them for you

to spare you from the trouble you may get into

How could you not know my kindness?

Kind, really kind

Fine. If you want, then you can go now

It's her
