Hawaiian drums. Check!

Hey, slack-key guitar.

Check!

A shaker gourd.

Uh, actually, in Hawaii, they call this an ipu.

-Ipu! -Check!

[clicking]

Ole!

And the castanets.

Um, I don't think castanets

are a traditional Hawaiian instrument, Scott.

I know. But they make such a neat sound!

Well, looks like we're ready for Hawaiian Day at the Idea Cafe!

Hey, what about me?

Sorry, Warehouse Mouse! Um, a ukulele.

Mm-hmm. Check!

Now we're ready for Hawaiian Day.

Hey, guys!

[all] Hey, Nina!

Hey.

Is the cafe all set up for Hawaiian Day?

Not yet. [chuckles]

Tutu, my Hawaiian grandmother,

was supposed to send me a box full of stuff from Hawaii.

But I guess I wasn't around when the delivery guy came,

'cause I got a note that he left the package here.

Yes, he did!

And... Hooo...

[imitating fanfare]

Here it is!

Nice!

[grunts]

-You got it there, Dave? -Oh, yeah, I got it.

I got it.

-[all chattering] -[Nina] Um...

-Dave! Over here. Come on, this way. -[Movers exclaiming]

[Nina] Watch your back!

[exhales] It's a little heavy.

Well, [chuckles] Tutu said it was full of everything I need

to make the cafe extra special and extra Hawaiian.

-Well! Open it, open it! -OK! All right. OK.

[Scott] It's...

[Movers] Bowling balls?

Hmm!

But this box was supposed to be full of sea shells

and fresh flowers and tropical fruit, like coconuts!

There must have been some kind of mix-up with the delivery!

That means, somewhere, someone is bowling with coconuts!

Yeah, but I really need that other stuff

in order to make a great Hawaiian Day.

[sighs] Well, maybe you could change it to Bowling Day?

[Movers] Yeah!

Aloha!

Uh, I don't think so.

[Movers] Uh, no, huh?

[all grunting]

Guys.

What am I going to do?

I can't have Hawaiian Day,

and not have authentic Hawaiian food and flowers.

I'm Hawaiian, after all!

Nina's right.

People are gonna be expecting special Hawaiian treats,

like macadamia nuts, haupia dessert, taro chips and poi!

And, uh, pineapple fruit smoothies?

Guys, this is a problem.

It's not just a problem, it's an...

Whoa! Hey, hold on now.

We better change into our regular brainstorming clothes.

Why don't we just make another one!

-Yeah! -Oh, yeah!

And, guys, I mean, I bet there's everything we need,

right here on the island!

Oh, yeah! Yeah, we could build a wooden raft

with all the trunks of these palm trees.

[all] Yeah!

We'll tie a whole bunch of them together

and then we'll have a wooden raft!

-Yes! -[both] All right!

-Let's get started! -Oh!

-Wait. -[Dave] What?

But we have to figure out how to knock the trees down.

-Oh, yeah. Knock them down. -Hmm...

-Oh, I've got it! -[Scott] What?

We can use my Super Duper Tree-Cutter Downer!

-Sweet! -Oh!

-[Rich] We are saved, once again. -[Scott] Problem solved!

[grunts] All right, let's see.

Now, all we need to do is find a place to plug it in.

-Um, Dave. -Yeah?

Uh...

Oh... Yeah.

There's no electricity on a deserted island, is there?

And there's no bad ideas.

Ugh. Sorry, guys.

-And now, what are we gonna do? -What are we gonna do?

Well, has anyone yelled "help" yet?

-No. Not exactly. -No.

Help! Help! Help!

It's OK. There's a way off this island,

and we're going to find it.

We just have to think it through.

Yeah, some of the simplest solutions

are right underneath our hats.

-[Rich chuckles] -Right under our hats.

Right under my hat!

I can't believe I forgot!

I always keep a spare rubber raft in my hat,

just for situations like this!

Yeah! Whoo!

[chuckling]

[deflating sound]

Sorry, guys.

Now what are we gonna do?

[all screaming]

[people chattering]

Maybe we could make leis for people

out of some of the things we have here at the cafe.

At least until the Movers get back with what we need.

Yeah! Watch! [grunts]

[machines whirring]

-Yeah! -Oh!

I made it!

-It's a lei. -Oh!

Thanks, Warehouse Mouse.

This is really nice.

You know, people make leis with all sorts of things in Hawaii.

You did great!

[chuckles]

Oh, no.

More people are coming!

It won't be long before they actually realize

that we don't have anything Hawaiian at Hawaiian Day.

We have to stall them!

Stall. Hmm...

Think. What would the Movers do?

[gasps] I know!

[giggles]

Ladies and gentlemen,

before we start serving some of our more authentic Hawaiian dishes,

we're going to have a demonstration

of some of the dances performed on the island.

Uh, their names are Rich, Dave, Smitty, and Scott.

-That's our bottle! -Yeah, that's us.

Sorry, guys. I really thought this idea was going to work.

-It's OK, Scott. It was a good try. -[Dave] Yeah.

I just wanna come through for you guys.

Whoa!

-Wow! -Scott!

That is a nice couch.

Uh, it is pretty comfy, as far as coconut furniture is concerned.

But why'd you build a couch?

Because we might be here for a really long time.

Uh, we've got a lot of catching up to do, me and you.

-My name's Scott! -[Dave] Oh?

[all groaning]

Ugh. We've got to get outta here, now.

-[Smitty] Yeah. -Guys.

Uh, is it just me, or is this island getting smaller?

Or maybe we're getting bigger?

Nope, that's not it. Uh, the tide's coming in.

The tide?

Yeah. I'll show you.

A-ha.

Twice a day, the ocean rises slowly onto the beach,

then falls again.

It's due to the moon's gravitational pull on the Earth's surface.

And it's called high tide and low tide.

And it looks like it's gonna be high tide soon.

Well, [nervous chuckle] just how high is the tide going to get?

Hmm. Uh, hard to say.

But the water could come up so far that there wouldn't be much beach left.

Well, now we really gotta get off the island!

Yeah, I don't want to be on the island, when the island's underwater.

Hey, it's my bottle!

Float on, little bottle.

If only we could float away on a bottle...

Too bad it's not big enough.

Wait! Maybe we can float on something else!

What else on this island floats?

[gasps]

-[all] Coconuts! -Yes!

Coconuts aren't big enough either.

No, but we could build a raft out of them!

Do you really think we can build something out of coconuts

that's big enough to fit us all?

[gasps]

Scott, you already did.

The coconut couch!

[screams] You did it, Scott!
