All I did was eat some porridge at their house

and sit in some chairs and take a little nap,

no big deal.

Ooh, strawberry-- my favorite.

Anyway, so these bears are so mad at me

that I had to get out of the forest fast,

and I came straight here

because I heard that you guys solve problems and stuff.

That sounds like a grizzly of a problem.

-[Rich chuckles] -Lucky for you, we can help.

-[Goldilocks] Oh. -OK, uh, three bears are mad at you.

It's not just the bears.

It's, like, everyone in the forest is completely mad at me,

even the cute, little chipmunks, and I have no idea why.

I don't think that I can go back there.

It sounds like you just need to do something really nice for the bears,

and then they won't be so mad at you anymore.

Last time I was at their house, all I had to eat was porridge--

would help the bears get over being mad at me.

Oh, maybe you could just send the bears a special gift.

But fish might get a little smelly

-before they got to the bears' house. -Yeah, that's true.

[Smitty] Oh, [chuckles] bears like scratching against trees.

Yeah, but I think a tree might be hard to deliver. [chuckles]

Uh, bears like to hibernate.

Uh, that means they sleep all through the winter.

Why don't we just get the bears something to sleep with,

like some big, comfy blankets.

-[Smitty] Yeah. [chuckles] - Oh! What an awesome idea.

But where are we going to find blankets big enough for bears?

Oh, I know. I've got my Lickety-Knitter.

It can knit us any size blankets that we need.

-Oh, that's great! -It is great.

[chuckles]

Dave, I don't know about this.

The last time you used the Lickety-Knitter,

-it did not work out very well. -Yeah.

Yeah, it wrapped us all in a giant scarf.

Well, I've made a few adjustments,

and I'm pretty sure it works perfectly now,

but maybe you should back up,

opening up the doors to our rooms,

No, I really have no idea what you're saying at all.

that you need to work on your manners.

-[Dave] Yes. -Yeah, good manners are important

because it shows people that you respect them.

You should ask permission before you use something

that belongs to someone else.

Oh. Come to think of it,

I guess I didn't really ask the bears' permission first

before I ate their porridge

or slept in their beds,

and I might've even broken one of their chairs.

Oh, that could be why the bears are mad at you.

Yeah, you didn't show much respect when you used their things without asking.

[sighs]

and that might be the key to solving this problem.

Goldilocks, maybe you just need to tell the bears you're sorry

-and show them that you have good manners. -[chuckles]

Then they'll know you respect them.

And then maybe they won't be so mad at me anymore. [chuckles]

to ask before you sit in someone's chair

by using words like "May I."
