Episode 34

Brother A Niu

I know of a hidden place that can thoroughly protect us.

Really? Where is it?

I'll guide you there.

Go straight ahead.

Okay.

Elder Xie, be careful.

Brother A Niu.

We're here.

Elder Xie, we're here.

Thank you, Miss Zhou.

You're welcome.

It turns out Snake Spirit Island also has a hidden place like this.

Everyone rest for a moment first.

Young Hero Zeng

I've been secluded from people and have no intentions to return to Central Plains.

To meet Young Hero Zeng this time is a blessing of three lifetimes.

You've repeatedly saved me.

I can't thank you enough.

I'm unfilial.

It's been so long and only now I've just come to acknowledge you

causing you to suffer hardship.

Young Hero Zeng,

What do you mean?

I am Wuji.

On Ice Fire Island,

you called me Xie Wuji.

But when I returned to Central Plains,

in order to protect me,

you renamed me Zhang Wuji.

Elder Xie, what are you doing?

Elder Xie.

Who are you?

How do you know these things?

"Shen bu wai chi" Gods are not beyond speed

"Qi bu wai xie" Air is not beyond leakage

"Shen gui wu xue" Gods return to acupoints

"Kan li... Water fire...

Kan li..." Water fire...

Godfather

What's the next line?

Are you truly my godson, Wu...Wuji?

Godfather!

Godfather

Godfather

I missed you so much.

I really missed you so much.

Elder Xie.

Elder Xie.

Didn't I say before that Ming Cult selected a new Cult Leader?

It's precisely this person in front of you. You didn't expect it, right?

Your godson became a grand Cult Leader of Ming Cult. You became his subordinate instead.

In a blink of an eye, my son, Wuji, has grown up.

He also became the Cult Leader of Ming Cult!

Golden Haired Lion King, Xie Xun, greets Cult Leader!

Godfather, by all means, don't be like this.

Godfather

Godfather

Godfather, did you know.

The previous Cult Leader Yang left behind a command for you to temporarily take the position of Cult Leader?

These days, I painstakingly can't bear the heavy responsibility.

Now that you’ve returned in good health.

It's fortunate for our Cult.

Godfather, wait until we return to the Central Plains.

Please proceed with assuming the Cult Leader position.

What are you talking about?

I’m old now.

My eyes are also blind.

I won’t sit in the position of Cult Leader!

No. Godfather, in my mind, you’ve never been old.

Although you can't see, your mind is still sharp.

You understand things more than me.

I'm telling you. Don't modestly decline.

Everyone in Ming Cult hopes you'll be the Cult Leader.

Elder, say it. Isn't that right?

Exactly!

What happened?

Wu Qingying.

Ghost!

I'm not a ghost. I'm human.

Zhang...Zhang Wuji.

You're not dead?

Miss Wu, are you the daughter of Wu Lie?

Yes, I am. It's me.

Elder Xie, do you know where my dad is?

Yesterday at the grass hut, I thought he wanted to plot against me.

I injured him right away.

Afterwards, the grass hut was burnt.

I don't know if your father is dead or alive.

Don't know if dead or alive...

Young Master Zhang, I know that my dad and I did some unpardonable things to you before

but it really wasn't our intention.

It was all incited by that Zhu family.

I know you're a generous person.

You won't hold us accountable, right?

My father. It's unknown whether he's dead or alive.

I'm begging you...

Help me find my father, all right?

Even if he encountered a mishap, I also want to see his corpse.

I'm begging you...begging you...!

Miss Wu.

I'm begging you.

Get up first.

I'm begging you.

Get up first.

Okay. I promise you.

Cult Leader Zhang really can't refuse any woman.

Even Miss Wu is attracted to you now.

Miss Zhao, don't joke around at this time, okay?

All right. It's my fault. I'll stop talking.

Track down and arrest Xie Xun! Don't let him get away!

Lord, besides capturing Xie Xun this time,

we should be careful of Golden Flower Granny, the wife of the island master Mr. Yin Ye.

Although this person's martial arts is less than Xie Xun, she's very deceitful in many ways and hard to handle.

We should be careful.

No matter how strange, it can't compare to us Persians.

It's all trash. Set off!

Set off!

Miss Zhao and I accidentally met Golden Flower Granny

and heard about her borrowing the saber so we followed her all the way.

Afterwards, I got on Snake Spirit Island.

Why?

Zhang Wuji!

Miss Yin.

Zhang Wuji died prematurely.

He wouldn't go back with me to the island and left me to be alone and impoverished on the island.

I looked for you everywhere but couldn’t find you.

In the hidden room, you knew...

It must be the serious injury that triggered the fever, causing her to speak nonsense.

Let's do this.

I'll go outside to find some herbs. Along the way, I'll try to find the whereabouts of Xiao Zhao and Elder Wu.

Miss Zhao, do you want to go on the journey with me?

This way, we can look after each other.

Great Cult Leader Zhang, you finally know how to appreciate a girl’s outstanding wit

and realize that I'm useful and harmless to you?

I know that if I don't ask you, you'll still secretly follow me, right?

That's right. You're really not immature and have changed to become a smarter person too.

Wuji.

Come here.

Godfather.

Take the Dragon Slaying Saber with you in case of any mishap.

Do your utmost to avoid those Persians.

Okay

Elder, don't worry.

As long as I, Zhao Min, is still breathing I'm determined to safeguard your godson and the precious saber.

Good.

What are you doing? Do you want to die?

I only want to move their corpse back and bury them properly.

How do you know there isn't an ambush here?

We can't be seen or else everyone will be found

Let's go

Come

Sit

Do you know I used to be to really beautiful?

I was named with Zhu JiuZhen as XueLin's twin pearls

but really

I was much more beautiful than her

Elder Xie, drink some water

Ok, thanks Miss Zhou

You really are a warm and considerate girl

Not like that Miss Zhao

She's bubbly and outgoing

That part of her is like Wuji's mom

No wonder Wuji can't deal with her

I wonder what her family is like.

She...

She is Prince Ruyang's precious daughter

A Mongolian princess.

"The palm is flesh"

"The back of the hand is also flesh"

Should we look for Xiao Zhao first

or should we look for medicinal herbs for Miss Yin

This is such a tough question

Why do you think... Golden Flower Granny took Xiao Zhao?

Isn't it clear?

Because the Golden Flower Granny knows

Although you've said you'd marry Miss Yin

but you're only doing so out of pity.

Miss Xiao Zhao is Cult Leader Zhang's true love.

Hence she didn't capture me or Miss Zhou.

She captured your precious darling.

Stop teasing me.

It doesn't matter who, if it was you would you be worried?

Worried about what?

Worried or not

It's all the same

I was just joking a little just to release the tension

Honestly

my palms were also sweating cold

Take a look

Why are your ears all red?

And your face is rosier than the Han ladies.

Will you stop teasing?

Miss Zhao,

this is not the time to joke

Saving people is more important

Well let's do it then...

You stay here to find medicine for Miss Yin

I'll go look for Miss Xiao Zhao

No! That's too dangerous.

The Persians can appear at any time.

You're not their match

We have to go together

Please don't

Please don't, I don't want...

Please don't

I don't want

Please don't do it

I don't want to die

Don't you cry anymore

Please don't

Crying won't help you

I have blocked your acu-points already

You won't be able to feel anything

Please don't

Just bear with it a little, and it'll all be finished

Please don't

Please don't

Please don't

Don't do it

Please don't

Please don't!

No, don't!

No, don't!

No!

Young master!

Young master, save me!

Young master, save me!

Please save me

Xiao Zhao

Let's go

That's the old granny

She is Ming Cult's traitor

She also secretly harbored Golden Hair Lion King

Attack!

Xiao Zhao!

No!!!

Why did you do that?

Don't come over!

If you do, don't blame me for being cruel

Xiao Zhao

We're leaving

Miss Zhao

Let's go!

Go

Go

Miss Zhao

Are you alright?

Don't worry about me

Hurry and go

How could I not worry about you right now?

Come on

Godfather!

We're back

Zhiruo, take Equality Guardian King out to the back

OK

Young master

Allow me to help

Okay, I appreciate it

Young master

How is Miss Zhao's injury?

She has loss a lot of blood

Thank goodness she missed her lungs so her life is not in danger.

We're lucky to have found some clotting herbs

We'll patch her wound and then monitor her.

Great, thank you

Young master, allow me.

You go check on Miss Yin.

Okay, thank you.

Wuji, how are Miss Yin's injuries?

Her condition is not very good

The 'Three Golden Flower Palm' hit her at her vital point

Golden Flower Granny attacked too deadly

Whether she recovers or not, it's hard to say

I don't need you to nurse me

Don't move

You don't have to care

We've just applied medicine to your wound, don't move

No need!

Please don't move anymore

Listen to me

Miss Zhao

Why were you so silly?

Even if you did it to save me

You should still think about your own life

Why are you...

Why are you such an amorous man?

You only diligently protect Xiao Zhao

You don't show any care towards me

I don't want to live anymore.

Will you just stay still?

Be good

Miss Zhao

Xiao Zhao's kungfu is inferior to your's

her thinking is also not as quick as your's

Of course I have to protect her

I know you sacrificed yourself to save me

I'm very moved by you

But you must promise me

From now on, you cannot sacrifice your life like that.

Okay?

"Both are dead"? [Name of the move she used]

Princess is certainly incredible

Cruel to yourself and cruel to others too.

Did you reveal my identity to that old man?

No, I didn't.

If not you, then who?

I told him.

Elder Xie asked me

I only told him the truth, that's all.

Princess is actually Prince Ruyang's daughter.

You shouldn't have to hide that

Why should Elder Xie be misled?

Thank you...for charging another crime to my name.

I've got nothing to hide about my identity

But this is my personal matter

It's not for you to butt in and say

You little hussy with a quick wit and quick tongue too.

Godfather

Miss Zhao is injured because of me

We've also captured a Persian Ming Cult member

they will certainly not leave us alone.

So now, we're all in the same boat.

We should all be harmonious with each other.

Young master Zhang

Where is my father?

You promised to find him

Where is he now?

Is he dead or alive?

The situation was too hectic at that time.

I didn't get a chance to find him.

Don't worry, I'll find a way to find your father.

Miss Wu

I want to ask you something

Is Chen Youliang your father's friend?

How did he know Elder Xie was on Snake Spirit Island to come and steal the Dragon Sabre?

Your father brought him here?

Yes

Long ago, my father and I heard young master Zhang say...

Elder Xie was on Ice-Fire Island

My father brought his good friend Chen Youliang

Chen Youliang was fluent with the seas because he was a fisherman

So we let him sail us to Ice-Fire Island

But who would have thought

the trip was leaked to others

My father and I were captured by Golden Flower Granny

In the end we had to take them to Ice-Fire Island

after that, we brought Elder Xie to Snake-Spirit Island

With great difficulty, my father bribed a local sailor

to get word to Chen Youliang of our whereabouts

to come and rescue us

Chen Youliang

Has Chen Youliang come to Snake-Spirit Island?

He has come

But he's only interested in stealing the Dragon Slaying Sabre

At times, your dad has even begged for Chen Youliang's life

But treacherously, he only sees your father as a stranger

Miss Wu, don't worry

I'll find a way to save your father

Young master Zhang

Previously, my father and I are at fault for harming you.

What are you doing?

Now, stand up first

It's all in the past now, I don't hold grudges

I'll go and rescue your father now.

Brother Wuji

If you go out

and you encounter those masked people, what will you do?

Don't worry Junior Sister

I'll have a way

But if...

if our hostage can unblock his acu-points

I fear...

Impossible

Even if he gains consciousness, he won't be able to move.

It'll be alright

But if...

Hey Miss Zhuo

You don't understand your Brother Wuji one little bit

He is one extremely stupid and stubborn man

Even if it's a death path...

He'll still go

No one can convince him to change his mind

Zhiruo,

Can you and Xiao Zhao to look after everything here

Godfather, I'm going out for a sortie

I'll return straight away

Ok Ok

You should rest and recover, and wait for me

Remembering back when Wuji left Ice-Fire Island

he was this tall

In a blink of an eye, he has become like that.

And became Ming Cult Chief also.

A Godfather like me

would also like him to marry a bride, and raise children soon

His parents looking down from heaven

would also be at peace

But at the moment, beside him are four bachelorettes

What's the meaning of that?

Elder Xie

I'm only his maid

don't count me as his bachelorette

You old man...

...with a bottomless greed

You want your Wuji to have a "full family"

who wants to marry him?

Princess...

You don't have you pretend

I'm not including you

I'm talking about...

Miss Wu...

Thank you Elder Xie

I know you discriminate me because of my identity

But since I've arrive at this Island

I've not done one thing wrong to anyone

I've helped Wuji everywhere, I've helped all of you

You treating me like this

isn't that improper?

Elder Wu

Punish her! ... ...

You must continue to live

Then your father's spirit will be at peace

Dad

Don't kill my mom, don't kill my mom

Miss Yin, Miss Yin

Don't kill my mother!

Why did you bring me here?

You can't kill my mother!

It can't be

Zhu'er.

Zhu'er

Your dad isn't here

Don't be scared

Dad, why is it like this?

Why is one bride not enough?

Why must marry a second, a third wife?

Why?... Why?...

Zhu'er

It's a nightmare

Brother A-Niu is here

Don't be scared

Don't lie, you're not Brother A-Niu

You're my father, you bastard!

You're a bad man

I'm not your father

-I am... -Wuji...

Where are you?

Can you save me please?

When you were with me

You bit me so viciously

But I'm not angry with you

I want to be with you my whole life

to take care of you

and you can be my Man

If you think I'm ugly

I'll abolish my kungfu

Abolish my Thousand Spiders Venom Kungfu, become beautiful again

just like how I was when we first met

Alright?

Wuji

I've suffered greatly searching for you

Why can't I seem to find you?

My heart is aching

That's right

I was up at Kunlun Mountain

I met a young man named Zeng A-Niu

He is a decent man, and his kungfu is great

He has promised

to take me as his wife

This brother A'Niu,

he said to me,

"Zhu'er,

I shall whole heartedly take care of you

so that you'll never be bullied again

if you don't think I'm not good enough, then I'm content."

He also said,

"From now on...

and for the rest of my life,

I will love you,

protect you.

Even if it would cost me my life,

I will protect you to the end

I'll make sure you're happy,

forget all your hardships and suffering."

Wuji,

do you think Brother A'Niu

treats me well?

But pity that my heart has already been given to you

But you're cold-hearted, and you died young

I'll be a widow all my life

You tell me, did I treat you well?

That time, you didn't follow, you didn't notice me

do you regret it now?

Wuji,

you're alone in the "spirit world",

are you lonely?

Granny and I have found

news of Golden Hair Lion King

After that, I'll go to Wudang

I'll tend to your parent's tombs

and then I'll return Westward

find the cliff where you fell down

That way

I can be near to you forever

I can be near to you forever

To pluck a smiling flower

Thinking of the changing world

To win, to lose, does it matter?

Days and months blur together

Wealth & riches doesn't last

This morning's beauty, has faded since last night

Our brows are far apart

A moment of time in our life

Who hasn't tasted the sweetness, bitterness of life

Oceans and skies, can't see them all

Who still counts grudges

Yesterday is not today, just let it go

The ocean waves flutter, our life's insignificant

The Spring's birds have flown away

Even though the winds have blown since the beginning

The winds howling and pounding, our life's insignificant

A happy blade cuts the mountain grass

Thousands of emotions, love, hate, flown with the wind

I reckon this song came directly from Heaven

Down on Earth, few have heard this song

Twenty-two years ago

when Mrs Han was at Bright Peak

she sang this song

So good

Perhaps she has taught A'Li this song

But I couldn't have imagined

she attacked so deadly

Even to her own disciple

she couldn't forgive

It's totally understandable

that as she has no children

she treats A'Li as her personal slave

She has no idea of what is maternal love

I wonder how Mrs Han is right now?

On the shore just before

I saw some Persians building a sacrificial tower

The flames were sky high

I wonder what they're planning to do?

They can't be planning to burn Mrs Han alive?

Xiao Zhao

Are you alright?

Young master,

I beg you,

please rescue my mother

Don't let them burn her alive

I'm begging you, please!

Granny

I advise you not to trick people

Otherwise, they will surely burn you alive

you won't be able to die a painless death

I hope that you, like me, will value your short life

Xiao Zhao, tell us

How can Golden Flower Granny be your mother?

Here

Don't cry anymore alright?

Tell me your whole story

I'm sorry...

I'm sorry for misleading you

I ask you

Han Qianye...

is your father?

Yes

he is my father

So you concealed your identity at Ming Cult

what motive did you have?

Speak!

I infiltrated Ming Cult on a mission

Of course

Young master, I've never once betrayed you

and I've not done anything wrong to Ming Cult

Young master

I beg you

I beg you, rescue my mother

Otherwise, they will surely burn her alive!

Just stand up

Don't be like that

Wuji!

Miss Xiao Zhao, please compose yourself

I think your mother should be fine for now

You shouldn't forget

we still have a hostage here

Those Persians erecting a tower on the beach

They're lighting flames, yelling out loud

They're just boasting

to catch our attention

Are you sure?

I think, they want to lure all of us out

Think about it

If they really wanted to kill your mother

Wouldn't they want to do it discretely?

They wouldn't do it so openly

so that we have a chance to rescue her?

Miss Zhao is not wrong

Right now, we both have each other's hostage

They want to find all of us

Xiao Zhao, don't worry

I'll do all I can to save your mother

Do you think Xie Xun will come?

Don't stress

He...

Although the Lion did not come,

two lambs appeared instead

Zhang Wu Ji!

Don't meddle in my affairs. Get lost!

Xiao Zhao!

Mother!

Let me go!

Mother!

-Don't be absurd! -Mother!

I'm not that blessed, I don't have such a daughter like you

Get lost!

Mother!

If you people dare to harm Mrs Han today

I'll return the pain back 10 fold

Why hasn't Xie Xun shown up?

Xie Xun happens to be my Godfather

I've come representing him.

Godson? Haven't you meddled in other people's affairs enough?

Mrs Han's business today shall be resolved by me

Our internal Ming Cult affairs doesn't need your input

Well your man there is from Beggar Sect

and I'm actually a Ming Cult member

Surname Zhang, name Wuji

So Zeng A'Niu is also

Grand Ming Cult Chief Zhang Wuji?

Zhang Wuji, your name precedes you

You have broken our (Persian) Ming Cult laws

Our Grand Chief may pardon you

Hurry and release your hostage to us

If not, we shall burn this whole island!

Further more, our Chief's battle ships are coming

Don't dream of escaping

Alright

Let's do it this way

Prepare a small boat for us

Once Mrs Han is safely back on the Mainland

I shall come back and release him to you

You think you can negotiate?

In my view

Your hostage is nothing but a simple 'Guard Dog'

In my Divine Cult, there are abundant people

Killing two of them, there's nothing to pity

Don't lie!

He's one of twelve Guardian Kings

Young master Zhang, don't believe him

In Divine Cult

there are a total of 360 Guardian Kings

Your hostage is Equality Guardian King

His kungfu is just average

Kill him then

You still won't be able to escape

My Godfather is currently guarding Equality Guardian King

We've already agreed before

That if he doesn't receive my signal soon

he will immediately cut off one arm

Another minute and he'll cut off the other arm

You can continue to waste time

I can guarantee you

Your Equality Guardian King will soon be in Hell

You're full of crap!

If I'm full of crap,

you should just wait and see.

Let's just wait and see how long they can manage

Orders from Grand Divine King

Kill this Zhang Wuji

initiate the sacrifice!

If you want to kill, then kill me

Young master Zhang has got nothing to do with it

You two

I don't need you two to rescue me

Go! Get away!

Young master

In my next life, and lives after that

Life, life, fate, fate

I'll forever follow you and serve you.

Leave!

Leave!

Miss Wu, what time is it now?

Right now, the sun's about to set

Elder, please don't worry

Your Godson will be alright

Father, young master Zhang is in strife

because he is so decent

I pray that your spirit

can protect him and safely guide him home

Hold it!

We can't risk Equity Guardian King's life like this

Release them

Yes sire

Our Grand Divine King admires talent

Your kungfu is exceptional, as well as great courage

We agree with your conditions

Thank you

Retreat!

Retreat!

Mom

Are you alright?

I'm okay

Thank you for saving my life

Mrs Han, don't be like that please

Stand up first

I've been resentful all my life

be Besides my husband Qianye, no one has ever won my admiration

Just now, you disregarded past enmities, and risked your life to save mine

You have my total admiration

From now on, even if you wanted my daughter and I to be livestock,

we still will be forever grateful

No no no, Elder...

Mrs Han

I've always treated Xiao Zhao as my real flesh and blood sister

never as a slave.
