(Episode 5)

Oh... Oh... Oh Yoon Hee...

Oh Yoon Hee?

That's nice and sweet.

Drink up.

Are you touched?

No matter how busy I am, I can always buy you a drink.

Boss.

Chairman Joo is suspecting you.

He thinks something's fishy about the fountain repair work.

What?

So please...

Just stop here, I beg you.

I can't.

The only proof of my innocence is there.

I can't let anyone take it.

- Boss! - I said, I can't!

How could you...

I don't want you to get hurt.

- Take him to the cottage. - Yes, sir.

Dad.

Dad, where are you?

Dad!

My gosh!

You startled me!

You're home.

Mr. Joo isn't home yet.

Have this while you wait for him.

Put this away.

Why am I so sleepy?

You must be tired.

Lie down in your bed.

What do we do now?

- What's going on? - Take her away.

Let go! Let go of me!

(Gimpo Farm)

(Nuri Gene Laboratory)

Oh Yoon Hee?

Get her!

Those useless jerks.

Oh Yoon Hee. You must have a death wish.

Eun Byeol, wake up!

Where am I?

(Workers only)

(Steep slopes, no access)

There we go.

Eun Byeol! Eun Byeol, wake up!

Stop it!

Yoon Hee, please protect Eun Byeol.

I'll beg your forgiveness for the rest of my life.

I'll do anything for you.

I'll die if you tell me to,

so please save her.

I see police officers.

We can find Eun Byeol.

- What happened? - Have you found Eun Byeol?

Not yet. The CCTV footage shows the car...

passing through the Gimpo tollgate.

A sighting was just reported.

Plate number, 9200. A navy SUV was seen...

driving up the mountain toward Kiam Cliffs.

Yes, that's the car.

Well, this is the driver.

We don't have time for this.

I'll find Eun Byeol myself.

Eun Byeol.

Seo Jin! Stop, there!

Request backup at Kiam Cliffs.

Ma'am, please follow me.

Eun Byeol, Mom is on the way.

Hang in there a little longer, Eun Byeol.

Eun Byeol, wake up!

Eun Byeol! Please wake up!

Eun Byeol! Please wake up!

Stop it, Joo Dan Tae!

She's still in the car!

Let's see how strong you are.

How annoying.

Give me a break.

(Nuri Gene Laboratory)

You're going to die anyway.

Why try so hard?

Goodbye, Oh Yoon Hee.

You jerk.

You scumbag!

Joo Dan Tae!

Eun Byeol! Please wake up!

Help!

Yoon Hee.

What is it you wanted to tell me?

You said it was something important.

Su Ryeon.

Your biological daughter is alive.

Your daughter is still alive.

Seok Kyung is your daughter.

Seok Kyung is your biological daughter.

Seol A's twin sister is Seok Kyung.

Eun Byeol!

Eun Byeol!

Eun Byeol! Oh no!

Eun Byeol! Mom's here!

Where are you? Eun Byeol!

(Nuri Gene Laboratory)

Let's see.

(Fire Dragon)

What is this? Fire Dragon?

Yoon Hee, you audacious brat.

Find her.

Search the water if you must, but find her!

Eun Byeol.

Eun Byeol. My dear Eun Byeol.

Seo Jin!

Eun Byeol. Wake up. Mom's here.

What happened?

- Is she okay? - Please wake up.

Eun Byeol.

- She doesn't look hurt. - Wake up.

Mom's here.

What about Yoon Hee?

I'm so sorry.

Where's Yoon Hee?

What do I do?

Answer me. Did you see Yoon Hee?

Eun Byeol. Mom's here.

Wake up, Eun Byeol.

Oh no... My dear Eun Byeol. Eun Byeol.

Oh no...

Eun Byeol.

Wake up.

You didn't hear any news yet, right?

No. Seok Hoon.

My mom should be okay, right?

Of course. My mom went to find her, so we'll hear from her soon.

You trust my mom, don't you?

I do, but I keep getting a bad feeling in my stomach.

I'm so nervous.

If something happens to my mom,

I can't go on living.

No, don't say that.

Your mom will be back.

She loves you too much to let anything happen.

I'm sure nothing bad will happen.

Nothing.

Find her!

Yes, sir.

Eun Byeol...

Where's Yoon Hee? Tell me!

No one was here when I came.

Eun Byeol was lying here alone.

(Police)

I think Yoon Hee fell into the lake.

I heard a loud sound. I'm sure something happened to her.

Please tell me what you saw when you got here.

The fog was too dense to see much.

When I got here, I heard a scream. So I came running...

and Eun Byeol was here alone.

Tell the truth! Did you really not see Yoon Hee?

I really didn't see anything.

It looks like two cars fell off the cliff.

Please send a search team.

If Yoon Hee was in the car...

It's late and there's rain in the forecast...

- Over here! Here! - It won't be easy.

Once it gets light out...

How can we wait? A person may die during that time.

Please find Yoon Hee quickly. Please.

Send in divers...

to search the lake.

- Yoon Hee! - Get back!

Yoon Hee!

- Where are you, Yoon Hee? - Get back!

Yoon Hee!

(Under Construction)

Shall we see...

what that punk Yoo Dong Pil was looking for...

in here?

Did you find it?

It was in Oh Yoon Hee's pocket.

Okay.

(Test results)

(Shim Su Ryeon, Joo Seok Hoon)

(Subject 1 and Subject A2 are not a match.)

(Shim Su Ryeon, Joo Seok Kyung)

(Subject 1 and Subject A2 are a match.)

Yoon Hee.

I warned you...

to stay out of it.

This looks like a key to a safe.

A key to a safe?

Is this how Logan's riches come into my possession?

This is why I can't fire you.

Every once in a while,

you're useful.

Yes... Ten billion dollars.

Yoon Hee.

We can't search right now. The winds are too strong.

The way down the cliff is too dangerous.

What if you miss the golden time by the time you get there?

Are you saying we should all die looking for her?

Everyone will die if we continue.

The Dive Unit is getting ready, so please wait.

Let's pull out!

Please...

Oh... Oh... Oh Yoon Hee...

Why are you so shocked,

murderer Yoo Dong Pil?

Dan Tae.

It was bad enough that you hid Kim Mi Sook's body in the fountain.

Did you kill and bury Yoon Hee as well?

It wasn't me. I didn't do it.

Who would believe that?

Look at the evidence right now.

Dan Tae, you demon.

You set this up. You rat.

Die, you rat!

You'll kill me too?

Just wait, you serial killer.

You rat.

What is it? What are you recording?

You're not working with this trash, are you?

Help me. This rat needs to die.

Kill me if you can.

Your daughter will love that.

She'll love it if her dad becomes famous.

Think about Jenny, will you?

Don't say Jenny's name with that disgusting mouth.

Let go of him, Yoo Dong Pil.

I said to let go!

How could you do this to me?

There was a reason they never found Kim Mi Sook's body...

that was thrown off of Cheongpyeong Dam.

The body was in this fountain.

Why was that?

Yes... Was it because of this?

- Her cell phone. - Give me that.

She was clutching this with all her might.

There's something amusing in it.

Evidence that I killed her.

Was that why you faked this construction? To find this?

To stab me in the back?

I trusted you though.

How could you betray me?

Since when? Since six years ago?

You betrayed me first.

Why did you harass Jenny?

You promised to protect my family.

I had planned to keep my mouth shut if you had kept your promise.

Why? Why did you harass Jenny?

You...

and Joo Seok Kyung.

I will make the both of you pay.

Oh, is that why you killed my poor Seok Kyung too?

What nonsense is that?

Seok Kyung's at the cottage you fell asleep in last night.

However much you hated her,

that kind of revenge is just dreadful.

I never saw Seok Kyung today!

The truth doesn't matter.

What matters is proof.

And the proof is irrefutable.

I have proof that...

you were at the cottage until early morning.

I even created a lovely story where...

you bought Ha Eun Byeol's tutor and even murdered Oh Yoon Hee.

Joo Dan Tae, you lunatic.

No, no. You're the lunatic.

The world will soon be captivated...

with the story of a psychopath.

"The culprit of the body-less Cheongpyeong Dam murder..."

"from six years ago struck again."

"He killed a neighbor who'd been harassing his daughter,"

"and left her body in Hera Palace's fountain as if on display."

"He also kidnapped and detained the ringleader who had..."

"bullied his daughter at school,"

"and caused her to die a dreadful death."

That's nonsense. I didn't kill Oh Yoon Hee.

I didn't kill anyone!

You argued with her yesterday morning by the fountain.

I bet most of Hera Palace's residents saw you.

A doting dad found out his daughter had been bullied at school,

and as soon as he was released, he went after all the bullies.

Soon, the police will arrest you in front of your daughter.

Oh. Don't worry about your family.

I'll kill them all.

Let's see.

It's Jenny.

Dad, why aren't you coming home?

Are you in trouble again?

Do you know how worried Mom and I are, waiting up for you?

Your poor filial daughter Jenny will be so disappointed.

She was reunited with her dad after six years...

and now he has to rot in prison forever.

I deserve to die for what I did, sir!

Please let my family live.

I was crazy.

I'll do anything you want, sir.

How can I trust someone who betrayed me?

Go on.

Call the police that we have a serial killer.

Ho Young. No, Ho Young. Don't.

My Jenny will really die!

No, sir, please.

Please, give me another chance.

Leave my family alone.

Sir. Chairman Joo.

My life now belongs to you.

Please, for old time's sake...

I am just too softhearted for my own good.

I'm trusting a man who betrayed me once already.

But remember this.

Stab me in the back once more,

and your wife and daughter all die.

Thank you, sir.

I will remember your mercy for the rest of my life.

Thank you.

First things first, deal with Yoon Hee's body yourself.

I need something to trust you with.

Make sure she's found as soon as possible.

Let's not leave her in the cold water for too long.

There are no noticeable injuries.

We'll run a thorough examination once she wakes up.

Thank you.

I'm sorry, Eun Byeol.

Don't worry anymore.

Mom will protect you.

It's all over now.

It's really all over.

What happened? Did I fall asleep here?

Dad.

Hey. You're up.

Were you so tired you couldn't wake when I shook you?

I don't remember.

Did I sleep all through the night?

You fell asleep having a snack.

It's for the best. You need to release some stress.

Thanks to you, I watched a movie alone...

and spent a boring night.

Sorry.

It's fine. Let's have breakfast. I ordered from a hotel.

Everybody else will be freaked out.

I never slept out without telling anyone.

Did Mom call?

No. Didn't you tell her you'd be here?

I didn't.

She doesn't know I'm here.

How come neither Mom nor Seok Hoon called even once?

Are they not even worried?

They must be busy with something.

Or are they grateful the troublemaker's gone?

I'll take you home after breakfast.

No. I won't go home.

Why should I go back when they don't care about me?

I'll only be an unwanted guest.

I'll wait and see when they call.

Can I stay here for a while?

Of course. Do whatever you want.

(Police)

- You can't go inside. - We're family.

Mom. What happened?

Why are you here?

Ro Na was too worried to stay at home.

They found Eun Byeol. So where's my mom?

Did her car fall into the lake?

If they haven't found her yet, does that mean she's dead?

- She can't swim. - Why would she be dead?

They're still searching. They'll find her soon.

I'm scared. I'm scared to death.

Let's brace ourselves and wait.

- It's coming up! - They found something.

It's a car!

Yoon Hee, please.

Mom!

Mom...

Why won't your dad pick up?

- They fell off... - He slept out without calling.

I don't believe this.

- It's being pulled up. - What is he up to?

Mom, look at that.

- Isn't that Ro Na's mom? - They were both in the car.

Ms. Oh kidnapped a neighbor,

Cheong A Arts High School student Ms. Ha...

- A kidnapping? - And fled...

- A kidnapping? - They fell...

What's that about?

- Who is the Ha student? - Three years ago...

- Is it Ha Eun Byeol? - Cheong A Arts High School...

Ro Na's mom kidnapped Eun Byeol?

That makes no sense.

Why would she get into trouble during probation?

It's said she committed the crime out of revenge.

- Honey. - Dad.

Where were you all night?

Did you watch the news? It's crazy. They say...

Why won't you answer?

What's up with your father?

Answer when someone calls.

What's up with your face? Who did this to you?

Never mind.

Was it that jerk Joo Dan Tae?

Don't call him that from now on.

Should I say scumbag then?

Are you done with the job? What happened?

Did you succeed?

You said the body was buried in the fountain.

You said you'd take it out soon.

It's all over.

I'm not going to get revenge.

I decided to obey Chairman Joo.

Did he threaten you?

He's the one who beat you up, right?

I swear that scumbag...

Just stay the heck out of it!

I'll deal with it.

You don't do anything.

Don't go looking for Chairman Joo.

Don't cause any more trouble...

trying to uncover the truth.

Please!

Did you just yell at me?

Dad! Dad, come out!

Ro Na's mom disappeared in the lake.

No one knows where she is.

Are you listening to me? Dad!

Can you...

Dad, we have a problem. Come out!

Dad!

You're driving me crazy.

After she was released,

the perpetrator once again used her perverse maternal love...

to kidnap Cheong A Arts High School student Ms. Ha,

causing great shock.

My goodness. That's insane.

It hasn't even been that long since she was released. How dare she?

Did she just give up on life?

Why would she do that after starting her business thing?

It's true that Ha Eun Byeol was never fully punished.

She never apologized to Bae Ro Na.

They were fighting again at school yesterday.

Ro Na can't forgive, can she?

Serving time at a reformatory wasn't enough?

What else does she want?

Isn't it time she let it go?

She's such a brat.

Even though Ms. Bae was on the waiting list...

- Ms. Oh's crime caused... - What?

I'm going to school.

No.

You're both wrong.

Things are unraveling very strangely now.

Do you know anything?

They still cannot find Ms. Oh.

She's not the kind of woman who can disappear like that.

Oh Yoon Hee.

Then how should she disappear?

To do that, with all that money?

That makes no sense.

It's ten billion dollars! Ten billion.

Someone like that does something that will put her on the news?

Everyone is paying attention to Ms. Oh's whereabouts.

Amazing.

What is this?

I thought it was ten billion.

Where is it?

What?

How are you here?

I'm here.

Kyu Jin always appears when you least expect it.

Gosh.

You were going to take the ten billion without even telling me?

I had this weird feeling...

as soon as I heard the news that Oh Yoon Hee had gone missing.

Oh Yoon Hee. Did you do it?

What are you talking about?

Then why do you have...

the key to Oh Yoon Hee's safe?

That...

Don't underestimate me. I'm a lawyer, after all.

I'm not interested in the truth.

What I need is money.

Half the money for shutting me up.

Are you crazy? Why would I split it halfway with you?

Then should I reveal the truth about the center to the police...

as to how Oh Yoon Hee's key ended up in your hands?

You're such a weasel.

Also, is this all there is?

You said ten billion dollars!

Why are you acting out?

Where did all the money go?

Anyway, let's split everything...

in here in half. Okay?

With this, I shall buy some Cheong A Art Center shares first.

I guess I am just meant to be the Director.

Wow. I never thought Oh Yoon Hee could ever be helpful to us.

Let's smile, okay?

Ten billion.

That Oh Yoon Hee...

She toys with you.

When did she hide all the money?

Can it be...?

Could she have taken it out then?

Look into everyone Oh Yoon Hee met with recently.

Her phone records, activities, and her mail... Search everything.

Yes, sir.

Hey.

Here's your tip.

Thank you. Thank you so much.

Thank you, Chairman! Thank You.

You did well.

Where is that crazy girl right now?

(The Kidnapping of Ha Eun Byeol: Emergency Press Conference)

My name is Jin Bun Hong.

I am here...

to uncover the truth behind the kidnapping of Ha Eun Byeol...

as reported in the news today.

Who kidnapped Ha Eun Byeol?

Is it Oh Yoon Hee?

Yes, it is.

Oh Yoon Hee used her daughter Bae Ro Na...

to confine Eun Byeol in her house.

As proof, I share with you security footage from Hera Palace.

(The Kidnapping of Ha Eun Byeol: Emergency Press Conference)

After learning that truth,

I barely succeeded in saving Eun Byeol and running away,

when I was caught by Oh Yoon Hee.

Oh Yoon Hee kept following my car.

She eventually followed me to Gimpo.

And then...

she tried to kill Eun Byeol and me...

by pushing my car off the cliff.

And I risked my life...

to get Eun Byeol out of the car...

and help her escape.

Oh Yoon Hee and I got into a fight.

Then she fell off the cliff.

Why was Oh Yoon Hee trying to kill Ha Eun Byeol?

Oh Yoon Hee...

deliberately put a phone in Eun Byeol's pocket...

at the SNU vocal performance test,

causing her to fail.

I, of course, brought this up to SNU,

and Oh Yoon Hee's daughter...

was also disqualified for cheating.

So Oh Yoon Hee held a grudge.

She constantly threatened Eun Byeol and me,

saying she'd kill us all.

Then why were you not at the scene?

I was scared.

I felt like it was all my fault...

that Eun Byeol ended up like that.

So...

I ran.

I worked as a housekeeper...

at the wealthy Korean-American Logan Lee's house.

Logan Lee colluded with Oh Yoon Hee,

sending me to be Eun Byeol's tutor.

Offering me a great sum of money I couldn't possibly refuse,

he told me...

to destroy Eun Byeol.

(The Kidnapping of Ha Eun Byeol: Emergency Press Conference)

I knew it was the wrong thing to do,

but I drugged Eun Byeol...

to hinder her studying.

Oh Yoon Hee...

told me to stop Eun Byeol from singing ever again...

but I just couldn't do it.

Because Eun Byeol ended up...

being a daughter figure to me.

Where's my daughter?

Where did you hide my daughter?

Your daughter?

You're crazier than I thought.

All I did is leave Eun Byeol with you for a while.

And now you think she's your own daughter?

If you laid a finger on Eun Byeol,

Joo Dan Tae, I'll kill you with my own hands!

I didn't lay a finger on her...

and sent her back to her mom.

You sent her back?

You promised you'd give her to me.

Did you forget that I helped you?

I'm the one who separated Eun Byeol from Seo Jin.

This isn't the time for worrying about Eun Byeol.

You might get arrested for kidnapping.

Then you'll never be able to see Eun Byeol again.

Is that okay?

What... What do you want me to do?

Hold a press conference immediately...

and announce that it was all Oh Yoon Hee's doing.

That it was Oh Yoon Hee's idea to kidnap and try to kill Eun Byeol.

You're crazy. How can I trust you?

Do you still think I'm on your side?

If you really want Eun Byeol,

pin everything on Oh Yoon Hee.

Then I'll make sure Ha Eun Byeol becomes your daughter.

Why don't we say...

this concludes our deal?

Here are bank transfers...

from Oh Yoon Hee to me.

Every time I was tormented by guilt...

and told her I wanted to quit,

she threatened to reveal everything...

and shut my mouth.

I sincerely apologize to everyone in the country.

I don't care if I get struck by lightning or sentenced to death...

as long as...

Oh Yoon Hee is punished as well.

I don't want Eun Byeol to suffer anymore.

I'm really sorry.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry.

I'm so sorry.

(Kidnapped Ha Eun Byeol's Tutor Makes Urgent Statement)

Cheon Seo Jin!

Move. I need to talk to Eun Byeol's mom.

No one is allowed to enter except her guardian.

Then tell Cheon Seo Jin to come out.

We can't. Please go back.

(No visitors)

Has Eun Byeol woken up?

Not yet.

She needs rest. Please go back.

Something's not right.

The news program is accusing Yoon Hee of kidnapping Eun Byeol.

- So? - What do you mean?

The kidnapper is Jin Bun Hong.

Yoon Hee was only following her to save Eun Byeol.

- You don't remember it? - Are you sure that's true?

What?

Oh Yoon Hee could've followed Eun Byeol to kill her.

Oh Yoon Hee...

even killed Min Seol A.

Yoon Hee had an accident while trying to save your daughter...

and is missing right now.

How could you talk that way about her?

I know for a fact that Ms. Jin and Oh Yoon Hee were conspiring.

The fact that Logan and Oh Yoon Hee destroyed my daughter...

makes my blood boil.

The reason Logan sent Jin Bun Hong to your place...

was to keep an eye on you.

It had nothing to do with Eun Byeol.

(Cheong A Medical Center)

So you knew who Ms. Jin really was.

Logan, Oh Yoon Hee, and you.

You all were in it together.

And now you want to use me to get your revenge?

Why should I let you do that?

I can't trust you anymore.

Our alliance ends here.

My only regret is that I couldn't kill Logan with my own hands.

Hi, Seok Hoon.

What are you doing here?

How's Eun Byeol?

Are you here because you're worried about Oh Yoon Hee?

Did you want to ask Eun Byeol what happened to her?

Yoon Hee is all over the news.

She would never do such a thing to Eun Byeol.

Do you know her so well?

I still can't understand why you changed all of a sudden.

Why doesn't Eun Byeol mean anything to you anymore?

You haven't seen her once since you got out of prison.

Why did you stand by and watch Ms. Jin destroy her?

Now that Bae Ro Na survived, do you suddenly feel guilty?

Do you suddenly feel bad for what you did to Oh Yoon Hee?

I've done my best for you and Eun Byeol all my life.

Isn't that enough?

Do you feel wronged? Is it driving you crazy?

Does it break your heart that Oh Yoon Hee suffered?

Too bad.

You'll never see Oh Yoon Hee again.

What do you mean by that?

Don't tell me something happened to her.

Please tell me that's not true.

I'm not sure.

Who knows?

(Living Gositel)

This morning, it's minus 2.3°C in Seoul.

It's the coldest morning this fall.

During the day, the cold wind will stop the temperature from rising.

Today's highs will be around 3°C in Seoul,

and the cold wind...

("Human Physiology")

(Yoon Chul, I hope you become a great doctor. Yours, Yoon Hee)

Due to the formation of a cloud band, some regions will...

see 2 to 3cm of snow for the next few days.

North Chungnam will also see less than 5cm of snow.

From 11 a.m. today...

Yoon Hee.

You're safe, right?

Nothing bad happened, right?

The suspect in the high school girl kidnapping case...

was found dead this afternoon.

Her body was found about 500m away...

from where the car fell by a private diver.

Apart from the injury caused by the fall,

no signs of murder were found.

The suspect, Ms. Oh, had served three years in prison...

for murdering Cheong A Arts High School's top student.

But right after her release,

she committed yet another horrible crime...

out of her obsession with her child.

The police will search Ms. Oh's body...

for any evidence related to her crime...

and hand over her body to her family.

After acquiring her body,

the police are reviewing footage from the cars at the scene...

and interviewing witnesses...

to find out what exactly happened.

Based on the recent statement of the girl's tutor, Ms. Jin,

the police are looking into whether the obsessive murderer...

committed any additional crimes.

The shocking crime committed by the obsessive murderer...

It's a lie.

It's all a lie!

Mom, why is your face so pale?

Are you cold?

Seok Hoon, my mom looks like she's freezing, right?

My beautiful mom, why are you lying here?

Come home with me, okay?

I'll be good from now on.

I won't make you worry.

I'll do as you say.

So please wake up right now.

Mom, please.

Ro Na, calm down.

Yoon Hee.

Yoon Hee.

It's not true. It's not true, is it, Yoon Hee?

Yoon Hee, you can't leave me alone like this.

Yoon Hee.

Yoon Hee.

I'm sorry, Yoon Hee.

I'm sorry...

so please get up. Get up, Yoon Hee.

Yoon Hee.

The family requested an autopsy.

Don't worry.

What could they find on a body that was in the water?

You may go.

Dan Tae! It was you, wasn't it?

You did it, didn't you?

What did I do? Let go of me!

You told Seo Jin...

that I was buying shares of Cheong A Art Center!

Do you think I have nothing better to do?

I haven't seen her all day!

Then how did she intercept...

Yoon Hee's shares just before I got them?

Seo Jin got Yoon Hee's shares?

You really didn't know?

Hey... If Seo Jin gets those shares,

it'll flip the table completely!

With her original 15 percent and Yoon Hee's 20 percent...

Seo Jin will become the director of Cheong A Art center.

Seo Jin took Yoon Hee's shares.

I wanted that! It was mine!

- How did she know Yoon Hee died? - I wanted it!

It was mine!

Things are getting interesting.

I've put Oh Yoon Hee's shares in your name...

and processed it as a donation.

Congratulations on becoming the center director.

Watch your mouth.

It hasn't been officially announced.

Any word from the admissions office at Seoul University?

Some people are saying Eun Byeol, the victim, should be saved.

Over 100,000 people signed the petition as well.

Good work.

Drive the public sentiment focused on the community.

Are you not going to the funeral?

Why must the victim's mom go to the perpetrator's funeral?

I'm not that magnanimous.

(The late Oh Yoon Hee)

Sang A.

Kyu Jin didn't come?

Someone who does big things shouldn't go...

where there's bad energy.

He's the only son of three generations.

He should avoid bad energy as much as he can.

What about Jenny's dad?

He didn't know Yoon Hee.

He fought with someone he didn't know?

Everyone says the two of them went at it...

grabbing each other by the collar yesterday.

My husband fought with Yoon Hee?

But...

Given the situation, who will take over Yoon Hee's business?

It's in a good location and has a lot of customers.

I kind of want it.

Are you working on it already?

How could you say that right now?

I know.

Why are you getting so mad? Is it wrong to even talk?

You shouldn't be like that.

Love her or hate her, she was our neighbor.

Don't you feel sorry for Yoon Hee who died and left her child alone?

Mom. I'm going to stay with Ro Na.

Jenny. Don't go by yourself.

I'll go with you.

Gosh. Since when were they so close to Yoon Hee? Give me a break.

Don't you agree, Min Hyuk?

Even I'm disappointed...

in you.

- Over here. Hurry! - This is it.

You're Oh Yoon Hee's daughter, right?

People are calling your mom Admissions Murderer.

Your mom killed someone your age...

to get you into Cheong A Arts High School.

Don't you feel bad for the girl who died?

Don't you want to say something to Ha Eun Byeol?

Say a word.

What are you doing? This is a funeral!

- She lost her mom. - Shim Su Ryeon?

Aren't you Min Seol A's biological mother?

If you hadn't gone easy on Oh Yoon Hee,

there never would've been a second victim.

What do you say to that?

How was Oh Yoon Hee released?

Was there an improper dealing?

Please refrain from statements that slander the deceased.

What is being reported by the media is far from the truth.

Oh Yoon Hee is not the type of person you think.

Seok Hoon. Take Ro Na out of here.

- Shim Su Ryeon... - How do you feel?

Please, comment.

- Ro Na! - Ro Na.

Hey, you! What's going on?

Who are you people?

Get away from her.

You jerks. How dare you?

Mom!

Ro Na!

Get out!

You seem to be in a good mood.

Is it because that woman Oh Yoon Hee died?

Are you still here?

Did you not like the luxury hotel that I booked for you?

I told you.

I won't step foot outside of here...

until you give me 50 percent of Cheong A Group's shares.

There isn't much time. You have until this weekend.

If your true identity is revealed,

forget the business in Cheonsoo District.

You won't be able to live in this country.

Is that okay with you?

You need to be reasonable if you want to negotiate.

Should I prove in court who the real Joo Dan Tae is?

All the bank accounts and property that you obtained in my name...

will become mine.

You'll return to being the murderer Baek Jun Ki.

If you don't like that, you can live as a ghost.

It's not so bad.

Hide, hide well

I can see your hair

Hey, Mr. Yoo. Where are you?

What?

Why are you so shocked?

Didn't you say you'd do everything I order you to from now on?

Did you change your mind already?

No, Mr. Chairman.

I'll do it.

I'm relying on you.

I can't wait to see how you get rid of that jerk Jun Ki.

(Parking Lot, Procession)

Don't go anywhere. Don't talk to anyone.

I'll go to you now.

What is it?

I'll tell you in person.

It's very important.

Call Seok Kyung and tell her to come home right now.

And tell her not to answer the phone if Dan Tae calls.

What could it have been? What was so important?

Why did she ask for Seok Kyung?

What were you keeping from me, Yoon Hee?

The phone is turned off.

How's Ro Na?

She hasn't slept at all and won't eat anything.

Stay with her and take care of her.

Don't leave her alone.

Did you try calling Seok Kyung?

No.

Her phone's been off the whole day.

And she hasn't come home.

She's trying to make us worry.

She decided to act out.

She must know if she saw the news,

and she hasn't been by.

Don't worry, Mom.

(The late Oh Yoon Hee)

Ro Na.

I'm sorry.

I thought...

I'd never show up in front of you again.

How dare you...

show your face here?

What gives you the right to visit my mom?

Do you think...

that little of Mom and me?

Ro Na.

What you did to me,

I can put up with.

You bribed my piano accompanist,

and you faked Eun Byeol's evidence and I can accept all that.

You did it for your daughter's sake.

But...

you shouldn't have treated my mom like that.

My mom cared so much for you!

I know that...

nothing I say...

can make you forgive me.

But I wanted to ask for it.

From you...

and from your mom.

Can you...

give me one more chance?

A chance?

For what?

If my mom never forgave you,

you have no chance with me either.

The fact that someone like you were my dad for even a while...

gives me the creeps!

Don't come here again...

and don't act like you know me.

I don't want to see you again!

Get out.

Get out of here!

Get out!

Get out of here now!

Get out! Leave.

Get out of here.

Get out! Leave!

Leave!

Mom.

I'm here.

I'm home.

Ro Na's here.

Where are you? Where did you go?

Mom! Mom, where are you?

Where did you go?

Mom.

Where are you?

Hi!

You're back.

What happened to you?

I couldn't reach you.

Where were you for days?

You were too busy...

staying up at someone's funeral to care if your daughter was alive.

Why are you making a fuss now?

Will you care about me only when I'm dead too?

Is that all you can say?

You should go and look after Ro Na.

She's an orphan now.

She's a lot like Min Seol A in many ways.

Are you crazy?

Why are you acting like this?

Is this how you truly feel?

Why don't you try to be honest for once?

Ro Na's mom is dead.

Aren't you secretly pleased about it?

That woman was punished for killing your daughter.

Please stop pretending to be good and show how you really feel.

I won't care anymore...

how you live your life or what you do with your dad.

You're no longer my daughter.

Now you're showing your true colors.

It's not like you treated me like a daughter!

Ma'am. Ma'am!

Pack Seok Kyung's things and send her away.

And don't let her in again.

Change all the passcodes and clear out her room.

Hye In will move into her room.

Hye In?

Oh, is that it?

You're throwing me out to bring home your real kids?

Let go of me!

Now you're being honest.

You're even worse than Dad.

Dad didn't abandon me at least.

Fine! Sure!

If that's what you want, I'll disappear!

Okay?

Move.

Don't even dream of coming back unless you'll apologize to Mom.

Seeing the way you live...

makes me sick.

I don't need Mom anyway.

I won't see her again. I won't!

("Paradise Lost")

I bought it for you.

Read it when you can't sleep.

Thank you.

("Paradise Lost")

Ms. Shim, you have a visitor.

("Paradise Lost")

Do you drink purple tea?

Yes.

The tea is actually purple.

It's a mysterious color, just like you.

Are you making progress with getting your name back?

To put pressure on Joo Dan Tae,

you must recover your legal identity first.

That's why Logan brought you here.

Will you meet with my lawyer when you're free?

I was locked up for a while,

and everything is scary and new.

Okay, I'll join you.

It's what Logan wanted to do.

Of course, I must help.

If...

my parents hadn't died,

and I was still living as Joo Dan Tae...

You and I...

Would our fates have also changed?

Never mind. Forget what I just said.

Are you okay? Did you burn yourself?

I'm fine. I'm going to go wash my hands.

Where did she put it?

Ten billion dollars.

What about the ten billion dollars that you cashed up from real estate?

Is all that money for her too? That money...

That money was meant for Seol A to begin with.

I've never thought of it as mine.

What is this woman to you?

I like her.

I want to spend my newly-given life on her.

My heart. And all my money.

Darn it.

("Paradise Lost")

(Seoul Bank, 10 Billion Dollars)

(Seoul Bank, 10 Billion Dollars)

What are you doing here?

I couldn't find the bathroom.

I was touring the house.

("Paradise Lost")

The guest bathroom is on the other side.

Sorry.

(Caller ID blocked)

It's been a while, Ha Yoon Chul.

What do you want?

How can a person do such a thing?

Didn't you promise you'd do anything if I got you out of prison?

Are you sure Joo Dan Tae thinks you're his man?

How many times have I told you?

I'm lying down like a dog and licking his feet.

Is that good enough?

You have to make sure Joo Dan Tae gives you his absolute trust.

That's your first mission.

Now start your second mission.

Who on earth are you?

Why are you doing this to me?

You have to earn your money.

No such thing as a free lunch.

Tell me what I need to do.

But if it's related to Joo Dan Tae, I won't do it anymore.

This one will be worth it.

I'll send you the address, so leave now.

Where do you want me to be at this hour? It's past midnight.

Go out the back door to make sure no one follows you.

I'll give you an hour.

Hello. Hello?

This scumbag!

Hurray!

Hurray!

Oh, no!

What a wonderful day!

- What news! - This is great.

My son, you made it! I love you so much!

I'm so proud of you!

This definitely will ruin Chairman Joo's day.

Who else from Hera Palace got into Seoul University of Music,

other than our son?

Exactly. This is the best comeback ever!

How can the person who ranked lowest be the only one to get into SNU?

What's the point of always being top of class?

You still can't beat the lucky one.

I'm not the only one who got in.

No way. There's someone else?

Eun Byeol also got saved and got into SNU.

Didn't you hear?

What?

Has there ever been a case...

where they re-selected a disqualified candidate?

Wasn't there a national petition?

Maybe Ms. Cheon used her network.

Let me go.

There's no way to beat them.

Including the Director of Cheong A Art Center.

Including Eun Byeol.

What's happening? Is fate on their side?

I'm honestly more scared of Ms. Cheon than Chairman Joo.

Look at Oh Yoon Hee's death.

She ended up making the one person who was bothering her...

just disappear like that. No?

You're right.

She's not an ordinary woman.

I got chills.

(Cheong A Art Center Director Cheon Inauguration Performance)

We're about to start the rehearsal.

Please help!

Eun Byeol!

Oh Yoon Hee, are you okay?

Please!

What happened? Where's Jin Bun Hong?

It was all Joo Dan Tae.

- Are you alright? - Get Eun Byeol out first!

Oh Yoon Hee!

Eun Byeol!

Get her out!

I'll move when you get her out, so do it now!

Hold on a second!

Eun Byeol, wake up! Eun Byeol...

Oh Yoon Hee!

Eun Byeol!

Hurry, Cheon Seo Jln!

Help!

Eun Byeol... My Eun Byeol...

Oh Yoon Hee, just hold on, okay?

Fake number one. Cheon Seo Jin.

A freaking thief.

You smiled.

Say hello to my wife, Oh Yoon Hee.

Congratulations on getting engaged, Seo Jin.

Get on your knees and apologize...

for slashing my throat.

Beg and beg.

Admit that you lost to me already 25 years ago.

Get on your knees!

I'm sorry.

I lost to you.

Cheon Seo Jin! Help me!

Help me!

Oh Yoon Hee.

Our ill-fated relationship ends here.

Goodbye.

You put up a good fight...

against me all your life.

Still,

the winner is me, Oh Yoon Hee.

(Cheong A Art Center Director Cheon Inauguration Performance)

Finally, everything is back to normal.

Cheon Seo Jin.

Welcome to a world that's completely yours.

(The Penthouse 3)

- Get over it on your own. - You're my daughter.

- I don't trust you. - Did you kill Yoon Hee?

I'm a victim.

I'll tell Su Ryeon everything.

You're my first love.

Whatever I do, it's all your fault.

Yoon Hee!

No one wants to save her more than I do.

I, Kang Ma Ri, used to be a big shot in Jincheon.

Is it time to get rid of you too?

- You know, Cheonsoo District... - It's for free!

I'll get to the bottom of her death.

Only a demon can handle a demon.
