(Episode 99)

I've been doing everything I could...

to make you my successor,

but you ruined it all.

Are you sure you can continue doing things your way?

You've never lived a single day without enjoying Jewang's prestige.

What can you do without it?

I'll try to do my best without it.

I know I can do it.

You can?

What exactly do you want to do?

Know something?

This is the first time you asked what I wanted to do.

You never once cared...

what I wanted to do.

That was because you were Jewang Group's heir.

I assumed it was your duty to succeed me.

You say you'll do things your way,

so go ahead.

If you're so determined that you had to kick out...

your own father,

let's see how well you pull it off.

Father. Once you finish serving your time,

let's go fishing.

Or do you prefer the mountain?

I hear makgeolli you drink on the mountain is delicious.

I have a friend who goes hiking with his father every weekend.

I was always jealous of that.

Put together my legal team your way as well.

- What? - You held a press conference...

and said we'd step down from management.

If I put together...

a fancy legal team to avoid jail time,

it would make you look bad.

You've set this stage.

I should play along.

Once I serve my time your way,

find a nice fishing spot.

Yes, Father.

I'll do that.

Loser. Why are you crying?

Jewang Group's President,

Oh Ha Jun, created waves by exposing the family's corruption.

The Prosecutors' Office received a video of Chairman Oh...

illegally using campaign funds...

and the murder-for-hire of Hwaipeu Fund's Ji Na Hwang.

Therefore, they summoned him for questioning.

What? What is all of this about?

The chairman was arrested?

Ha Jun struck Father.

But then again, Father needs to pay...

for the things he did.

But what is all that about?

If the owner family steps down,

does that mean the Jewang family won't be the Jewang family anymore?

If Jewang Group doesn't belong to the Oh family,

does that mean the Oh family will be commoners?

Why would I be a commoner?

Our family won't fall just because Father goes to jail.

Mom! Are you all right?

What happened?

Goodness. It's obvious.

She was fired from her position as vice president already.

Ms. Park.

- Take me to my room. - Okay.

Get up.

- Mr. Kim. - Yes, ma'am.

Find out how the investigation is going.

He can't go to prison.

Yes.

Remember that law firm, Son and Jung,

that we worked with last time?

Call the managing partner right now.

Ma'am. The situation is bad right now.

Ever since the press conference, the company executives...

and everyone related to the company won't answer their phones.

We have to do something though!

We can't abandon the chairman!

If they won't answer their phones, go to their homes and offices!

Do something!

Yes, ma'am. I will.

Mom. Are people...

turning their backs on us?

What happens to us now?

Ha Ra. I... I don't know either.

Ha Jun made a big mess.

I don't know what to do...

going forward either.

Then are we really becoming commoners?

Ha Ra. Listen carefully.

I'm in danger too.

I may be summoned too.

I was involved...

with all the crimes your father is being accused of.

Not you! No, not you!

I can't live if you leave too!

No. I'll do whatever it takes...

to keep you from leaving!

No! I can't live without you! No.

No. No!

Ha Ra.

No, Mom!

Thank you.

Oh Byung Gook arrived at the Prosecutors' Office.

Ms. Geum will be summoned soon as well.

Now, I just have to get revenge on Ha Ra.

This has evidence of all of her evil deeds.

The security footage of her killing my dad,

the recording from Mr. Shin.

Send it to media companies on the day of the last shoot.

Yes, ma'am.

Once this gets out,

Ha Ra will probably commit suicide as you predict.

Probably.

Because dying while shooting,

rather than being remembered as a murderer, is her happy ending.

I think I'll be leaving...

before I get to watch your final revenge.

Are you going to Hong Kong?

Yes. I've relieved Ms. Ji Na Hwang of her grudge,

so I've completed my duty.

I want to open a noodle shop like my mother's in Hong Kong.

Thank you for everything.

Once I finish my revenge,

please tell headquarters...

that we will donate all of Hwaipeu Fund's assets...

to society as Mom wanted.

Yes, ma'am.

Your mom's here.

I brought her because she said she had to see you.

Eun Jo.

Why are you back?

Eun Jo. I heard everything.

I don't care what you did.

I understand and I'm on your side 100 percent.

Did you come to say that?

But Eun Jo... Can't you stop...

your revenge now?

I'm begging you.

If that's why you're here, you should leave.

I'm not your daughter.

I'm not Eun Jo, I'm Ga Heun.

Why aren't you my daughter?

Eun Jo. No matter how mean you are to me,

that won't change.

No.

Your daughter Eun Jo died five years ago.

Your husband died too.

But you were clueless and let Se Rin abuse you!

I endured excruciating rehab to fix my broken body...

in order to get revenge...

on the jerks who did this...

to our family.

But you want me to stop?

How could you say that to your daughter who nearly died?

Eun Jo.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry... I'm... I'm begging you.

All of this happened because I was so stupid.

If you want to take revenge, take it on me.

I'll embrace the hatred within you.

Pour it out on me. Please?

It's too late.

I'm going to get revenge on Ha Ra.

She killed me,

she killed my baby, and she killed my dad.

Your daughter Eun Jo's dead.

Don't come back here.

Eun Jo! Eun...

Eun Jo.

Eun Jo...

Eun Jo...

My gosh. Oh dear.

We're with the Prosecutors' Office.

Where's Geum Eun Hwa?

People from the Prosecutors' Office are here to take Ms. Geum.

Do you have a warrant?

I do.

You must be confused.

Our father did all of that by himself.

My mom had nothing to do with it, so please leave.

Hello.

Mom.

Where are you going?

You're under arrest for embezzlement, breach of duty,

violation of election laws,

and murder-for-hire.

No! No!

You can't take my mom!

Ha Jun, stop them!

Grandma. Are you going to just watch?

Ha Ra.

I'll be out soon.

Don't worry. I won't be there for long.

Mom...

You have to see me win Best Actress.

Yes.

I have to see my girl win Best Actress.

I look forward to hearing what you say to me...

in your speech.

Ha Ra. You have to eat well, okay?

Let's go.

No! Mom! Mom!

Mom! Mom!

Mom!

Mom! No...

No, Mom... No...

Scarlett O'Hara said...

the sun will rise again tomorrow.

To Oh Ha Ra, the sun is...

the trophy.

When Mom is released,

I'll give her the trophy for best actress.

Hello? Did something happen to Se Rin?

She keeps asking for you.

She says she needs to tell you something.

She keeps talking about a souvenir of a murder.

Do you know that that is?

A souvenir of a murder?

I'll come right now.

Se Rin. Are you still yapping even after you went crazy?

Ha Ra killed Eun Jo's dad.

That's right. I didn't do it.

Ha Ra didn't let me give him his insulin shot.

It's true.

Se Rin.

How dare you talk about the souvenir of a murder here?

What are you doing?

My drawings. My designs.

Why are you erasing them? They're mine!

Ha Ra. You did this to me.

If it weren't for you, none of that would've happened five years ago,

and Eun Jo wouldn't have taken revenge on me.

Why? Why must I be the only one who suffers?

You were the one who wouldn't let me give Eun Jo's dad his insulin shot.

Bring my dad back.

My dad died because of you! Bring him back!

You've gone completely insane.

How can I bring back someone who died?

Why did you steal from Eun Jo...

and upset her?

You should've stayed still as I did when I lost Sun Hyuk.

You knew you couldn't beat her anyway.

Why were you obsessed with beating her?

Se Rin. You did this all...

to yourself.

No. No, I did nothing wrong.

All I did was borrow a few of Eun Jo's designs.

I was going to return them.

Eun Jo will come to kill me.

I'm next after my dad.

Ha Ra. Please save me.

I'm so scared.

I don't want to die.

Get off of me!

We're each on our own. Did you forget?

Stay insane forever.

I'll survive somehow.

Se Rin. Take care.

This will be the last time we see each other.

No!

Ha Ra.

You'll go crazy soon too.

What?

I gave the souvenir of our murder to DDM Queen.

What do you mean?

You gave that security footage...

to Eun Jo?

Yes, I did.

My queen said she'd protect me.

That's why I gave her proof of Ms. Geum's embezzlement...

and the video of Chairman Oh bribing Chairman Tak.

She said to show my devotion in order to launch DDM Venus.

That was how I was able to put on such a perfect launching show.

I wonder what she's doing now.

I want to be complimented.

You did it?

You destroyed my family?

Se Rin!

Ha Ra.

You said you wouldn't die alone.

It's less scary to die together.

You'll realize soon just how that feels.

Friends should go together even if it's to the fiery pit.

Don't you agree?

Ha Ra.

Let's go together, okay?

Where are you going? I said let's go together.

Do you think I can't shoot that stupid ending?

You can try to torment me all you want...

with the situation from five years ago.

I won't bat an eye anymore. Realize that?

We'll see at the shoot.

Eun Jo.

She planned to post it during the movie shoot.

If the world finds out,

I'm done for.

She succeeded in destroying our family...

and my career.

That was...

Eun Jo's final revenge.

Go ahead. Try me.

Watch what I do.

Hi, Bo Mi.

Hey. I heard you don't have a makeup artist yet.

Mr. Kang begged me to do it.

We need to come up with a concept. Where should we meet?

I'll go to you.

What is all of this?

What else? Clothes and books for Hoon.

Why are you suddenly acting like a mom?

I plan to take a trip after we finish the movie.

I spent all my energy on the movie. I need to recharge.

Then...

I won't get to see Hoon either.

He loves it when you read to him.

Tell Sun Hyuk to read to him.

Maybe you can read to him too.

Hoon will be back from kindergarten soon.

Give them to him yourself.

No. I'll lose my resolve...

if I see him.

No. I don't have to see him.

Bye.

Hey. What about the makeup concept?

You take care of it. You're a pro.

And...

tell Sun Hyuk that I'm sorry.

What?

Ha Ra dropped these off.

She said to read them to Hoon when you tuck him in.

- Ha Ra brought them? - Yes.

She says she's taking a trip to recharge once the movie's done...

and asked me to take good care of Hoon.

Also, she said to tell you that she was sorry...

and to tell Mom to stay healthy.

Ha Ra said that?

Don't think about it.

They're filming the final scene tomorrow...

and the main character dies.

She's just too into it, that's why.

She said goodbye as if she were going to die.

X. Do you want to know who the eighth personality is...

that you wanted to know so badly?

Who is it?

Who is that personality that tried to kill me?

The eighth personality is...

me.

What's up, honey?

I got the books you got for Hoon.

You did? Does he like them?

Did he say he misses me?

Yes, he likes them.

Hey. Is anything wrong?

What do you mean?

Bo Mi said you acted like you wouldn't see Hoon for a while.

Tomorrow is the final shoot.

I must've seen that way because I was so into my role.

Can you come...

to my shoot tomorrow?

I wish you'd tell Hoon...

about how passionate I am when I act.

I'm not sure. I have a lot of work piled up.

Will Eun Jo be there too?

Eun Jo?

Never mind. Don't come.

When I win Best Actress,

Hoon will know how great an actress his mom is anyway.

There's nothing going on between you and Eun Jo, is there?

You only worry about Eun Jo.

Honey.

Even if you're born again,

you'll love only Eun Jo, right?

Ha Ra.

But...

It's the same for me too.

Even if I'm born again,

I'll love only you, Sun Hyuk.

I think that's my fate.

What is that smell?

Are you drinking?

No.

We're back here again.

We are.

It's a place with memories of a murder for you.

Wow. Master.

Are... Are you really giving these to me?

Eun Gyul. I hope you'll become a better master than I was.

I will.

But Master... Are you going somewhere?

I won't see you for a while.

I hope you'll become an even cooler adult.

Eun Gyul will become Master Wang too.

Master Wang, you have to come and visit...

when Eun Gyul becomes a cool adult. Okay?

Yes!

It was my duty to avenge Ms. Hwang's death,

not you, Eun Jo.

Hello. I killed Na Wook Do...

in the hit-and-run accident on Gyeongchun Highway.

I'll go to the police station now.

What do you mean?

A video of Ha Ra committing crimes?

From her assaulting the spa employee,

a recording of her ordering Hwang Ga Heun to be buried alive,

and security footage of her...

causing the death of a man named Ko Sang Man five years ago.

All of that was posted online.

Wait. Isn't Ha Ra filming a scene on a suspension bridge today?

I'll love only you.

I think that's my fate.

Hello, Mr. Oh.

This is terrible.

Ms. Hwang dropped a bomb on Ha Ra just now.

She exposed her for everything she did.

The video of her killing Eun Jo's father...

and the recording of her admitting to killing Eun Jo.

It's all over the web!

Really?

I'm heading to the movie shoot.

The Hanseo River suspension bridge.

Suspension bridge?

The movie shoot is at a suspension bridge?

Yes. It's the site of Eun Jo's accident.

Ga Heun is trying to kill Ha Ra.

Freeze!

Move, and I'll shoot.

Put your hands up slowly.

Show me your face.

I need to see your face and confirm who you are!

Turn around slowly.

Do you really not know...

who I am?

I sent you so many hints.

You're so dense.

That's right. You're Eun Jo.

I've waited...

so long for this moment.

Breaking news!

Oh Ha Ra committed murder!

What?

Step aside!

Excuse us!

- Get out of our way! - Excuse us!

Step aside, will you?

Look. There she is.

Get out of our way!

Step back!

Eun Jo.

That was a nice bomb you prepared for me.

I assume you included the evidence from five years ago...

that you got from Se Rin...

while pretending to be DDM Queen.

That's right.

All of the evil deeds that you've done.

Then is my life really over?

This is the only way if I want to remain...

the lead in this movie.

You got me good, Eun Jo.

What is she doing?

- Don't do it! - What's going on?

- Oh Ha Ra! - What are you doing?

Don't get soft.

The finale of my revenge is in front of me.

Actually, there's someone...

I'd like you to meet too.

Really? Who is he? Do I know him?

Hey. Let's not do this.

I'm officially introducing him to all of you tomorrow.

Bring your guy too.

Okay, will do.

I can't believe we found guys and are getting married already.

I know. It feels like a dream.

But...

how far did you go?

Whatever. Why are you asking that?

Tell me!

- Stop it! - Tell me!

Tell me!

That's right. We've come too far.

Hey! What's going on?

- Call for help! - Yes, sir.

Oh my gosh!

Get up there!

This is so lame.

Eun Jo. Did you have a change of heart?

No, Ha Ra.

You need to live in pain.

I'm suddenly...

reminded of that day.

When the four of us put together the time capsule,

laughing and having fun.

No.

You can't die like this. No.

See? I'm right.

It keeps slipping.

Grab on, Ha Ra.

Grab on.

Eun Jo.

I'm so sorry.

I want to rest now.

Goodbye.

Ha Ra...

Ha Ra!

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

Ha Jun, just tell me what you want.

- Just one... - For her role...

in "Female Detective X," Oh Ha Ra...

She really was born to be an actress.

Ha Ra is winning an award at a film festival?

She won Best Actress.

I'm on a date right now.

Your boyfriend is handsome.

I love you, Se Rin.

It has been too hard, hasn't it?

Please come back now, Eun Jo.

Eun Jo.
