Episode 6

Siqi,

I left my bag in the texi.

I can’t go inside.

You left your bag in the taxi.

The driver called the emergency contact.

It was me.

Did you drink?

Are you OK?

I’m fine.

How come you...

Xiaosu,

don’t forget things anymore.

Here is your bag.

Can I hug you?

I’m leaving for Yunnan.

When I’m not around,

you must have dinner on time.

Three meals a day.

You can’t miss any of it.

No matter how tired or busy you are,

don’t stay up late.

I’m leaving.

Xiaosu,

actually,

I was very happy when the driver called me.

I’ve always got a feeling that

our connection will stay.

Bro,

while I’m gone,

please take care of my mother.

Don’t worry.

You don’t need to ask.

The moment you arrive,

send me a message.

Are you listening?

And

I’ve heard that there is rainstorm in the south.

Be careful!

Don’t show off!

I know.

Bro,

thank you for

taking care of me since we were kids.

Except for my mother,

you’re my closest person.

Why do you talk so much today?

Don’t worry.

I’ll take care of Aunt Shao.

Besides,

isn’t it just a month or two?

I’m not worried.

You’re around anyway.

In the place of beautiful scenes,

I can stay longer.

How dare you!

Bro,

there is another person

I’ve been worried about.

Go for it! Come on!

You escaped?

What are you doing?

Come on! What a sucker!

What are you doing sitting here in the early morning?

Shao Zhenrong is leaving for Yunnan today.

Yunnan?

Why are you still sitting here?

Hurry up!

Xiaosu,

in a girl’s life,

it’s not easy to meet a man who loves you.

Not to mention that

you two really like each other.

Don’t you miss him!

You’ll regret it!

Don’t worry. Just go. I’ll clean it up.

Be careful!

Luckily, this cup is of good quality.

It’s not broken.

God Bless.

God bless Xiaosu.

Does Du Xiaosu know you’re leaving?

She knows.

She’s on her own,

away from home and working for living.

Her parents are not with her.

She carried all the grievance on her own.

There’s no one to share.

She likes to do everything

by herself.

So,

please take care of her for me.

You’re treating your bro like a babysitter.

She knows you’re leaving,

and she doesn’t come to see you off.

Forget it.

She must have her difficulties.

If she doesn’t come,

we won’t be embarrassed.

I’ve thought about it.

Seeing what she is like now,

it’s useless for me to force her.

Just take this time

to let her think about it.

It’s good for her to figure it out.

Dr. Shao, time for security check.

I’m leaving, bro.

Wish you a good journey.

Take care of yourself.

Bye.

Sir, could you please drive faster?

I have something urgent.

The flight 3406

is boarding now.

Please take your belongings with you.

Boarding pass please.

Sir, please drive much faster!

Xiaosu,

when you see this message,

I’m about to take off.

I want you to know that

no matter what difficulties you’ll encounter,

I’ll be with you to the end

as long as you give me the chance.

I have faith

to make you love me more every day.

Xiaosu,

wait for me.

Hi there.

Hello.

I want to know the boarding of

the ten past ten

flight to Yunnan.

Where is the airport lounge?

OK. Hold on one second. I’ll check for you.

OK. Thanks.

This flight has taken off five minutes ago.

Taken off?

Yes.

It’s not even the time to take off yet!

Thank you.

You’re welcome.

Sorry, the number you dialed has been powered off.

I’ll wait for you.

I’ll wait for you to come back.

Miss Du. What a coincidence!

You also come to the airport to see someone off.

I...

I come to...

Don’t you tell me that

you come to the airport to see Zhenrong off.

I’m sorry I’m late.

Not seeing Zhenrong,

I feel very sorry.

You are sorry?

For not seeing

how hurt Zhenrong is?

I will wait for him to come back.

Fine.

What you mean is

you’re going to

make up with him again?

OK.

In this world,

some people regard love

as air and water.

Some people regard love

as icing on the cake.

And Zhenrong,

he regards love as life.

To you, Miss Du,

what is love?

Du Xiaosu,

you’ve changed over and over again.

Have you ever thought about his feelings?

Don’t look at me like this!

Have I wronged you?

No, I didn’t!

You didn’t?

You went to the hospital on purpose to approach my brother.

It’s you

to take advantage of his kindness and simplicity.

You’re the one to pester him!

And you just called it off!

It’s still you not to take care of his feelings.

Du Xiaosu,

what makes you?

I said I didn’t!

I didn’t pester him.

I’ve also told you

I’m serious.

You’re serious?

Du Xiaosu,

your seriousness is really cheap.

Remember what I said today.

You’d better start

praying for him from now on.

If anything happens to him,

it isn’t over!

Miss Du?

Hello. Welcome to Damiani.

Hi.

Miss Du?

Yes, I am.

Hi.

The diamond ring that Dr. Shao ordered

has been here for a week.

But he didn’t come for it.

We can’t reach him.

So, we called you.

Luckily,

back then, Mr. Shao left two numbers.

Otherwise, if the retention period is overdue,

we really don’t know what to do.

Fine. I have to strike first!

How about I marry you?

Why not?

When did he place an order?

About half a month ago.

Miss Du. So lucky you are!

The staff in our store are all envious of you.

Your boyfriend loves you so much.

Where are you going?

I’ve booked the ticket to Yunnan.

Business trip? Haven’t heard you mentioned that.

You shouldn’t be...

Siqi,

I’m going for him!

I have to!

Well, put down your luggage first.

Impulsion brings trouble.

Come and sit.

I can understand how you feel.

But honey, don’t you forget

how hard it was for you to break up.

Siqi,

have you ever seen a perfect love?

Of course I haven’t.

I would’ve got married if I have seen one.

So,

love is the joy and sorrow of the world.

In reality, every relationship

will encounter all kinds of obstacles, more or less.

I love Zhenrong, and he loves me.

I really regret it now.

Why did I give up

so easily back then?

It hurt him

and also myself.

His mother is against of us.

I can try hard and make changes,

or figure out how to make his mother accept me.

I shouldn’t just pronounce

the death of our love.

I want to make a bet for this.

Is it from him?

Let me have a look.

When was it?

So beautiful!

It turns out that all his promises to me are true.

Every single life scene about the future

we’ve talked about

is real.

So Siqi,

I have to go for him.

I’m going to tell him

I was wrong.

I...

I do!

Does he know that you’re going for him?

He has been unable to get through.

But I can’t wait.

So I asked for leave.

I want to give him a surprise.

I don’t know what to say about you.

I have to leave.

Are you leaving right now?

Slow down!

The news just reported a heavy rain there.

Have you brought an umbrella with you?

Take care and be safe!

The flight has been delayed for more than two hours.

Is the flight still available?

Don’t worry. Please calm down.

Since there is a heavy rain in Kunming right now,

the flight condition is terrible.

We’re also waiting for the notice from our superiors.

We can’t rule out the possibility of taking off tomorrow.

We’re also waiting for the notice.

Please be patient, will you?

Tomorrow?

It’s not available until tomorrow?

I have a contract to sign.

Our company is dealing with this issue.

We’ll come back to you as soon as we have any news.

Are you OK with that?

How long do we have to wait?

I know you’ll come back to us.

The subscriber you dialed

cannot be connected.

Please redial later.

Zhenrong,

I can’t get in touch with you.

I’m really worried about you there.

Is everything OK with you there?

You have given me so many surprises.

Now,

I really want to make some efforts for you.

Stop. Smile.

As long as your phone is powered on,

please contact me as soon as you see my messages.

I miss you so much.

(Kunming Changshui Airport)

Xiaosu.

Siqi.

You just arrived?

Yes, one night late.

Have you got in touch with Zhenrong?

I haven’t got in touch with him yet.

I will give him another call later.

So be it. Bye.

Is it Zhenrong?

You finally answer my call!

What’s wrong with your phone?

It has been powered off.

Excuse me.

This is the doctor from Shilin People’s Hospital.

Our car on the way to the mountain area

just encountered debris flow.

There was a car accident.

Dr. Shao

is being rescued right now in our hospital.

Affected by the heavy rain,

in many places of Kunming mountain area,

there are debris flow disasters.

A number of people have been injured by now.

Property damage has reached millions.

Mr. Lei.

Hold on one second. I want to make a call.

OK.

Miss.

Is this your phone?

Miss?

Miss?

Is this your phone?

Thank you.

Sorry. The subscriber you dialed

is not in the service area for the time being.

The traffic interruption

has brought great difficulties

to the rescue work.

At present, the Municipal Party Committee and the government

are actively organizing rescue forces

to strive for precious time

to rescue the people in the disaster area.

Sir,

to Shilin!

Take me to Shilin Hospital!

No blood pressure.

Ready for defibrillation!

Charge 200 Joules.

One adrenaline.

Hi, Miss Nurse.

I want to check...

Xiaosu,

no matter what difficulties you encounter,

I will accompany you to the end

as long as you give me the chance.

I have faith

to make you love me more every day.

Xiaosu,

wait for me to come back.

You can’t go in there!

He’s being rescued inside!

Let me go in there just for a second!

You really can’t go inside!

You can’t go in there!

Come on!

Please calm down!

Please! Just let me in for a second!

You really can’t go in there!

I’m sorry!

Zhenrong,

wake up!

Open your eyes and look at me, will you?

Zhenrong!

I’m sorry for your loss.

Sorry for my loss?

Why did you say that to me?

I beg you. Please give it another try!

We’ve really tried our best.

I beg you. I know you can do it!

Doctor.

I know you are very good!

I know you can wake him up!

I’m sorry.

No!

No!

Let him go!

Don’t touch him!

Don’t you touch him!

He can’t leave me alone!

You can’t leave him alone here.

Doctor!

Doctor, I beg you!

Please help him!

Please do help him!

I beg you, doctor!

No way.

He really can’t be gone just like this, doctor!

We’ve really tried our best.

Ms. Shao had an emergency shock

caused by excessive grief.

I’ll give her some medicine later.

Have some rest.

No big deal.

Mrs. Zhao.

Please

take good care of Aunt Shao at home.

Yuzheng,

you want to...

I’ll go to get him back home.

Zhenrong.

Zhenrong.

How about I marry you?

OK.

You said yes!

You’ve said that you’re going to marry me!

From now on,

Shao Zhenrong belongs to Du Xiaosu.

Zhenrong.

You woke up.

You woke up.

You’ve been sleeping for most of the day.

What time is it now?

It’s already afternoon.

Please sign over here.

You’re lying to me, aren’t you?

Where did you hide Zhenrong?

I’m going to look for him now!

I’m going to look for him now!

You must’ve hidden him.

Where did you hide Zhenrong?

It must be you to hide him!

Calm down!

Then I am leaving, bro.

Bye.

Zhenrong!

Zhenrong, wake up!

I’m having a dream, aren’t I?

You and the doctor got together

and played a joke on me, didn’t you?

I know you won’t leave me.

Get up and let’s go home.

Get up, will you?

Get up! Get up!

Why are you like this?

You can’t leave me just like this!

Didn’t you say that

you would marry me?

Look at this.

The ring.

I got the ring you ordered for me.

I know

you’re about to propose to me, aren’t you?

Zhenrong!

Wake up!

Don’t sleep!

I’ll change!

Why are you here?

You don’t deserve it!

Mr. Lei,

don’t be too sad.

For the loss of Dr. Shao,

we’re also very sorry.

On the way back from Dake Country,

he was encountered with debris flow.

The car overturned.

His internal organs were badly squeezed.

Actually, on the way back, he was already...

Thank you.

My brother is the most extravagant.

He has a large collection of watches of famous brands.

He has such a good taste.

Have a sleep.

Let me get you back home.

How is it so sudden?

I had dinner with Zhenrong just a few days ago.

He is just gone like this.

So poor Aunt Shao is!

And his girlfriend.

Aren’t they getting married?

It was natural calamity and man-made disaster that came together.

This is destiny.

He was doomed.

They’re not meant to be together.

Do you have to be so particular about going to a funeral?

Zhenrong was like my brother,

and we three grew up together.

I certainly should

honor him for the last time decently.

Aunt Shao,

I brought him back for you.

Zhenrong.

Why leaving your mother here alone?

Aunt Shao,

you have two sons.

Zhenrong’s gone.

I’m your son!

I will take care of you.

Kaixuan,

let Zhenrong

in first.

Zhenrong,

you told me before

that you dreamed of coming cross

someone you’re destined to meet

neither too early,

nor too late.

But at the very moment,

you realized that the person is

right there waiting for you.

Zhenrong,

I feel like you’ve never left me.

I can hear your voice,

feel your breath,

and smell you.

You’re still by my side.

It’s just I can’t see you for now.

But I will always be here waiting for you.

Waiting for you to come back.
