Be careful.

Xu You?

Who is this guy next to her?

Who on earth is he?

Breaking news!

Do you know who I saw?

When I went to the washroom?

Who is it?

Xu You,

that big star.

Is she your acquaintance?

Well, that’s impossible!

And what more surprising is

she was with a man!

And they looked intimate.

That must be her secret boyfriend.

I took their photos as well.

Check it out.

That’s him.

Well, it’s him...

Do you know him?

He is a celebrity.

He is Junior President Lei of Yutian.

They’re probably not in a relationship

as I can tell from this photo.

Not in a relationship?

But how come they look so close?

No wonder Yan Jingjing is replaced by her.

He’s going too far.

Has he ever pissed you off?

Never,

I’ve made a decision just now,

that I will do something big.

Don’t mess things up.

I’m not messing things up!

I’m trying to help the weak

and doing justice.

Things in the entertainment industry are too complex

for you to understand.

Fine, I don’t understand.

Here.

No, thanks.

I am allergic to alcohol. I can’t drink.

What about lemon water as an alternative?

Sure.

Are you cold?

A little bit.

What, what are you doing?

Don’t get fresh with me

without my permission.

I was just holding your hand.

Don’t you...

I have a crush on you.

You don’t have to see me off.

I can walk back on my own.

Your hand is still cold.

Let me warm it up for a little longer.

Why do you give me this pig?

Because you are Xiaozhu (piggy) Du.

I am not a piggy!

I am not!

Well, take it easy.

Even if you really turn into a pig,

I’ll still love you.

You are the pig!

You are!

Doesn’t it look like you?

I think it does.

Kiss the piggy to show your respect.

You don’t have to go in.

Just wait for me here.

I never thought about

seeing you in a hospital.

When I was a kid, you told me stories of Chinese mythology.

You said there was a man called Kuafu,

who always ran after the sun.

I always had the feeling that

you are like Kuafu,

you always keep going,

and never lose.

You never feel tired,

or break down.

I never thought that

there would be one day when you fall down.

Dad?

You’re awake?

Here, have some water.

Are you looking for your special assistant？

She’s too tired,

and I asked her to take a rest.

I’m here.

Just let me know if you need anything.

Go away.

Just like

how you left Yutian.

Go away!

Go!

I do want to go,

but you have to extract your blood from mine first.

Then I’ll go right away.

Dad,

don’t you know what kind of situation we are in?

You’re sick,

and Yutian is in deep trouble.

Can you just stop setting yourself against me?

What happened to Yutian?

Nothing,

small issues.

Rest assured, I’m here.

Want to return to Yutian now?

Get stumbled over

and rebuffed, right?

Now you realize the value of your family business?

Sorry to let you down,

but I’m good doing my own stuff.

I came back to Yutian unwillingly.

When you recover and return to Yutian,

I’ll definitely return the business to you intact.

Won’t you regret?

Uncle Lei,

how are you today?

Better, much better.

Yuzheng has finally come back to work for Yutian.

Really?

That’s great.

Now your wish is fulfilled.

Bro,

rest assured. I’m here to take care of Uncle Lei.

You should both go back now.

I know my conditions well.

Don’t worry about me.

Go.

Bro,

while you are now back to Yutian to help Uncle Lei,

but you are doing that unwillingly, right?

He’s old.

I used to stick only to what I want,

but it’s till now

that I start to realize

I need to do something for my family.

Sometimes it’s a matter of give and take.

Well,

see you then.

OK.

Du Xiaosu!

Where is the press release!

Xiaosu, what’s wrong with you?

I’m in a hurry, I have to go now.

When will you hand in your draft?

What on earth are you doing?

Are you trying to pick up a fight?

Do you think you are so great

just because you interviewed Yan Jingjing?

Let me tell you,

you get pay from me,

so you have to work for me!

Miss Yan,

I’ll try to bring justice back to you.

Really?

Xiaosu, thank you so much.

Wait for my good news!

Where is Lei Yuzheng?

Do you have an appointment?

It’s an emergency. I must see him.

Tell me where he is.

Mr. Lei is attending a luncheon

at Riverside Hotel.

Manager Xiao, sorry for the trouble.

Then I will count on you

to help us with the business.

Sure, my pleasure.

See you.

Lei Yuzheng!

Do you dare or not get off the car and accept my interview?

Mr. Lei...

Who the tell is that? Drive.

Du Xiaosu, are you crazy?

Who the hell you think you are?

Lei Yuzheng,

I’m Du Xiaosu, entertainment reporter of Whitegoose.com.

Let me interview you.

Let go of me!

Xiaosu!

Interview me?

I have no reason to do what you ask me to do.

You dare not accept my interview

because you did the wrong thing, right?

Don’t gather here.

If you make an apology to me now,

maybe,

I will just let you go like nothing happened.

You are the one who should apologize.

Yan Jingjing is still lying on the bed,

you shouldn’t exacerbate her situation.

Exacerbate her situation?

Miss Du,

may I ask who is the person that drove to chase her?

Who is the person that has been making all efforts to disguise herself

and try to get the chance for interview?

Even if Yan Jingjing were the victim,

would you dare to say

that there wasn’t any contribution

from you in the whole matter?

I was wondering

if you really come to see me

for the sake of Yan Jingjing.

Miss Du,

don’t be a hypocrite.

I admit

I did something wrong,

but...

But what?

Since you also admit you are wrong,

why don’t you

say sorry to Yan Jingjing,

so that you can feel better off?

Is it fun

to excuse yourself and pretend to be innocent

in front of me?

Listen,

in this world,

those who show weakness are not necessarily weak.

Those who appear to be unsullied

and accuse others of demoralization

are not necessarily ethical.

Let’s go.

Go.

Go.

Shao,

why work on holiday?

Are you preparing to support a family?

Have a girlfriend now?

Good on you.

Keep working on it.

Sure, no problem.

I’ll leave first.

Watch your steps.

You are the one who should apologize.

Yan Jingjing is still lying in the hospital.

You shouldn’t exacerbate her situation.

Exacerbate her situation?

Miss Du,

may I ask who is the person that drove to chase her?

Who is the person that has been making all efforts to disguise herself

and try to get the chance for interview?

In this world,

those who show weakness are not necessarily weak.

Those who appear to be unsullied

and accuse others of demoralization

are not necessarily ethical.

Miss Du,

don’t be a hypocrite.

Xiaosu.

You’re famous now, do you know?

Mr. Mo has just

posted your picture of Xu You and Lei Yuzheng

on the web.

Do you know what happens then?

It’s got so many views!

I think

the website will crash because of this!

Do you know who wrote this?

No.

I’ll contact the media that posted this photo immediately,

and ask them to make a public apology.

I know who wrote this.

Contact lawyer,

and sue Du Xiaosu.

Who?

The reporter

who stopped my car today,

Du Xiaosu.

Why are you still standing here?

But Mr. Lei,

maybe it’s not wise to sue her.

It will make the thing unnecessarily more viral.

It’s not your turn

to flurry.

Tell the reporter that

I refuse to settle out of court.

I’ll see her in court.

Du Xiaosu!

Haven’t I told you not to piss Mr. Lei off?

What? He asked you to come for me?

Seeking revenge?

Yes.

He has asked Yutian’s lawyer to prepare lawyer’s letter.

He will sue you for defamation.

What?!

Sue her? For what?

Defamation?

Is he crazy?!

Isn’t the guy in the photo Lei Yuzheng?

Or someone else?

He was having lunch with Xu You,

and they were acting intimately.

It was him!

Qunfei, go and tell Lei Yuzheng

that he is not the ruler

of the world.

Maybe others are frightened of him, but I am not.

He did the wrong thing first,

and he wronged Yan Jingjing first.

He was the one who took away her role.

That’s why I’m asking for justice.

Am I wrong?

Did I say anything wrong?

No, wait.

You are doing all these things for Yan Jingjing?

No wonder Mr. Lei was angry.

Well, Xiaosu,

even if you want to fight against injustice,

shouldn’t you first be clear

about who is the good guy and who is the bad guy?

Yan Jingjing gangs up with the senior management of our company,

trying to make a fortune by manipulating the contract.

That’s why Mr. Lei took away her role.

Don’t you think what you are doing is unjustified?

Jingjing,

our risky move

has failed again.

I know Lei Yuzheng much better than you do.

He was the person who gave me the hard time.

I won’t let him go easy.

Du Xiaosu released the news

and pisses him off, and

then my ruse of self-injury has worked.

So, you are indeed lying to me!

Why?

Why?

There is nothing to ask.

When you chased after my car,

Have you aksed why?

Let’s go.

I wouldn’t believe them when they told me you are here.

Come over here, baby.

What’s wrong? Let me see.

What happened?

What’s wrong?

You look bad.

Are you feeling well?

Zhenrong, I was wrong.

I was wrong, indeed.

That’s all right.

Come here.

No worries.

Why did they fool me?

Zhenrong,

I want to resign.

Have you thought about what to do after that?

When I was in college,

my major was architectural design.

I became an entertainment reporter by accident,

because I couldn’t find a job after graduation.

Tell me,

do you think I’ve got the chance to start over again?

To be a real designer?

Of course.

You are such a good girl.

You’ve got the chance.

Really?

I heard Boyuan is a good company.

Do you want to have a shot?

Boyuan?

But Boyuan is a big design company.

They won’t be interested in an unimportant figure like me.

Send your resume to me,

just in case I can help.

Do you know people from Boyuan?

No,

but chances are higher

if there is one more person to submit your resume.

We need to take every possibility

to get recruited by Boyuan or the like.

What if I can’t find a job?

Then I’ll feed you.

Really? You feed me?

Yes, you have my words.

Mr. Mo.

Xiaosu,

you did very well this time.

Good on you.

So hurry to get your bonus, huh?

Letter of resignation?

For low pay?

For not giving you leaves?

Then what’s wrong with you?

I want to become an architecture designer.

That’s not suitable for you.

See? You cannot just carelessly...

Mr. Mo.

Thank you for taking care of me.

Thank you.

No, but...

No more news-seeking!

Tell me,

do you think I’ve got the chance to start over again?

To be a real designer?

Mr. Lei?

It seems Mr. Lei’s got a visitor

Mr. Lei,

this girl has been waiting for you.

OK, Mr. Lei, we’ll see you around.

See you, Mr. Lei.

Mr. Lei, I’ll go in first.

Mr. Lei,

I want to talk to you.

Didn’t I say that I do not want to see you?

Why are you still here?

I’m sorry for what I did last time.

It was me who misunderstood you

without knowing the truth.

Sorry.

Miss Du, last time when you stopped my car

and spoke for Yan Jingjing,

I thought you were

a person who adheres to principles.

Now realizing you are going to be sued,

you immediately change your stance.

You seem quite adaptable to circumstances.

Do you think I am apologizing

because I’m worrying about the lawsuit?

Isn’t that the case?

You’ve been waiting here

for hours at night.

Don’t tell me

that there is no underlying reason.

That will be funny.

Mr. Lei,

I come to aologize,

because I know I did the wrong thing.

I just knew you replaced Yan Jingjing

for your own reason.

I was too naive and taken advantage by her.

Do you think I will accept your apology?

Miss Du,

you seem to be over-confident.

According to your logic,

a murderer

can be released just because he says sorry.

Don’t go too far!

What on earth do you want?

The rich are so unreasonable!

I’ll wait for you outside.

Bro.

Bro.

See?

This is the resume of my friend.

She majored in architecture,

and she is looking for a job.

I know Yutian’s subsidiary, Boyuan,

is hiring people.

Can you give her a chance to try?

This person must be special to you;

otherwise you won’t ask for a favor for her.

It’s that girl, right?

I didn’t mean to hide it from you.

It’s just we haven’t been together for very long.

Not long?

But you are already trying to find her a job?

Seems you are really into her.

Don’t talk about Xiaosu like that.

She is a nice girl,

and she’s simple.

Simple?

Maybe that’s only what she looks like.

Her targets are silly boys like you.

Maybe there will be one day

when you’re cheated by her.

Bro,

you have a bias towards women.

You shouldn’t think

all women are alike,

just because you’re surrounded by extravagant women.

Would you help me or not?

Leave me the resume.

I’ll notify Boyuan.

Thanks, bro.

I’m leaving for the night shift.

Mr. Ning?

Are you also coming to see Mr. Lei?

He asked to see me.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t have the chance

to visit his office.

What’s up, Mr. Lin?

Do you have to inform Mr. Lei

on recruitment issues?

This one is not hired by me.

She is assigned here by the higher-up.

You know for things like this,

all we need to do is to just follow the order.

It’s none of our business.

Assigned by the higher-up...

Hello,

is it Mr. Wang?

Hello,

I’m your student, Lin Xiangyuan.

Do you still remember me?

Hello, Mr. Wang, how are you?

Well,

there’s something I need help from you.

Do you remember my classmate, Du Xiaosu?

Stop, stop, stop!

Wait!

Smile!

Done!

Let me see what you got.

See?

I look fat and ugly! Delete it!

No way!

I will print these photos out

and stick them onto the wall.

Just imagine!

How meaningful and loving that would be!

Shao’s private kitchen,

giving you the experience of Michelin-starred restaurant.

It’s tasty!

Shao Zhenrong!

I need to take the initiative to get the first mover advantage,

or I’ll be so regretful

if you’re with someone else.

How about this?

May I marry you?

Great.

You agreed, right?

You said you are going to marry me.

From now on, Shao Zhenrong belongs to Du Xiaosu.

All right.

Shao Zhenrong, what can I do now?

You are the one who treats me best in this world,

almost better than my parents.

I’m worried that people will be jealous of me.

Then don’t leave me, all right?

Wait.

Hello?

Really?

Really?!

All right, all right, thank you.

See you tomorrow!

What’s up?

I’m hired by Boyuan!

Really?

I’m hired!

Awesome!

Here, as a reward!

And a hug.

If it were not for this headline,

I wouldn’t be clear about

what I really wanted to do,

and the kind of life that I really wanted to live.

I want to become an architecture designer.

Du Xiaosu, fight!

Come here.

Open the door for me.

Hello, have you registered your information as a visitor?

You’re new here, right?

Well...

No wonder.

I’m here to see Mr. Lei.

My surname is Jiang.

Sorry, Miss Jiang,

it is our company rule

that all visitors must register their information.

Register?

Call the Office of the Secretary to the Board,

and ask whether I, Jiang Fanlv,

need to register my information at Yutian.

But it’s our company rule

that visitors must register their information first

before they can see Mr. Lei, no matter who they are.

I’ve seen your works.

They are nice,

Close to Boyuan’s design concept.

Thank you.

I understand the reason you changed your job,

but that doesn’t mean

you can really

perform well in architectural design.

No one can assure you that.

At present,

we can only offer you an internship.

Whether you can become a formal employee

depends on your efforts.

I see.

It’s good enough for me.

I will do my best.

All right.

Come and start work next Monday.

Thank you, Mr. Ning.

But,

there is one question that I want to ask you.

Go ahead.

You enrolled me just upon my resume

and didn’t interview me.

Why?

I believe

there must be candidates better than me.

Miss Du,

our talk just now

also counts as interview.

Boyuan

is a company that is open and inclusive.

We won’t reject people who are aspiring

on grounds of experience or education.

Therefore,

please do you best.

Yes,

I will.

Thank you.

See you.

Miss Jiang, I’m so sorry.

This is Mr. Jiang’s daughter,

a friend of Yuzheng.

It’s all misunderstanding.

Open the door.

Great!

Lin Xiangyuan, I don’t want to blame you,

but your reaction is too slow

to see me standing there arguing with the reception girl.

Lin Xiangyuan, what are you waiting for?

Come in!

I’ll shut the door if you stay there.

Mr. Lei,

you son visits you every day.

He really cares about you.

You must be happy and satisfied, right?

Yes, I am.

Now when I think about it,

I do feel I have to accept the state of being old.

Speak of the devil and he appears.

Help yourselves.

See you later.

Thank you.

Why do you come again?

I’ve told you I’m good.

You don’t have to come to see me every single day.

Well, OK then.

There are so many things to be solved at Yutian.

If you are well now, go back to your company.

And I can hand over my work.

Son,

you’re looking to contradict me?

Listen,

as long as I am in the hospital,

you need to stay and work for Yutian.

Your uncle Jiang is waiting for you at the golf court.

Dad,

he doesn’t want to play golf with me,

but to talk about your business.

I’ve heard that the project

was given to us by no reason

from Uncle Jiang.

It’s weird.

Are you implying

that I’m too old

to tell good and bad things apart?

Dad,

that’s not what I meant.

Then that’s it.

I’ve signed the contract with your Uncle Jiang.

You just need to implement it.

Nice shot, Mr. Jiang!

I have a strong feeling

that our project

will be undertaken by Yutian.

The Senior Lei has agreed,

and the Junior Lei can do nothing about it.

He is smart and competent,

but he will not dare to

disobey his father.

Generally speaking,

Lei Ting shouldn’t have agreed on it.

Why he did so this time?

Lei Ting

is old.

Lei Yuzheng is coming,

Yuzheng, you are late.

Uncle Jiang,

let me introduce.

This is Lin Xiangyuan,

my assistant.

He is a hard-working young man.

Nice to meet you, Mr. Lei.
