(Episode 96)

You're right.

Chairman Oh Byung Gook told me to kill Ji Na Hwang.

I felt guilty, so I abducted her and took her to the mountain.

Oh Byung Gook was the one who hired me to do it.

What?

Ga Heun sent this to you?

How could Wook Do tell her all these things?

I told you to make sure that twerp doesn't talk!

Hi. I received the recording...

that you sent.

Do you like my gift?

Obviously not. It was a gift I didn't want.

True. It may differ depending on your perspective.

I'll give you another gift since you don't like this one.

It may be good for you and bad for me.

Wook Do escaped.

What do you want?

You must have a reason for sending this to me.

Step down as chairman.

And publicly apologize to Oman and all the companies...

that went bankrupt and the people who were hurt...

by Jewang's abuse of power during these 30 years.

Otherwise, I'll send that recording to the prosecutors' office.

You'll threaten me...

with a recording of a thug?

Do you really think this will carry weight as evidence?

Furthermore, Ji Na Hwang got lost and died on the mountain...

because of her dementia.

Don't try to weasel out of it. Decide wisely.

You have one day.

Until tomorrow.

You must step down as chairman and make a public apology.

There's no way out.

That wicked brat.

Honey. What did Ga Heun say?

Did she tell you to turn yourself in?

Find that rat Na Wook Do!

I will. So calm down.

I'll find Wook Do.

Find him and get rid of him...

along with Ga Heun.

I will.

I'll find someone...

who will get rid of them.

I looked into it.

Ju Tae Sik was addicted to a fake drug...

and died of a heart attack.

The guy who confessed said...

he opened a psychiatric clinic in Ju Tae Sik's mall...

and approached him intentionally.

Dr. Choi?

His real name is Shin Duk Kyu.

It's suspicious though.

He had been living in a study dorm until recently.

How did he afford to rent out a commercial space?

I'm sure he has a sponsor.

He has a sponsor?

That's what my gut tells me.

Anyway. Ju Tae Sik's daughter...

begged for the drug...

to save her father.

She saw her father die before her very eyes.

Anyway, that's all that I found out.

Where is it?

Where's the drug?

Where is it?

Se Rin said...

when Sang Man passed away,

Ha Ra stopped her from giving him his insulin shot.

Ga Heun got revenge on her...

by doing the same thing.

She's Shin Duk Kyu's sponsor.

My poor Se Rin.

She was very angry.

I'm sorry...

I couldn't protect you.

Se Rin.

You're my queen.

Ga Heun.

I told you to leave Se Rin alone!

I'll get you for this!

I'll get you!

Do you think Chairman Oh will step down as chairman...

and apologize to Oman Group?

There's no way.

Greedy people never change.

Then he'll try to kill you.

Not just me.

He'll want to get rid of Na Wook Do, who gave me that evidence.

Na Wook Do is the next target.

You're sure Grandma can talk, right?

Not just a few words like before, right?

My gosh. That's right.

It's not just "Hey, you, evil"...

"Let's go," and things like that.

She's speaking in sentences.

She's completely normal.

What made her suddenly talk?

Who knows?

She must've suffered a greater shock...

than what caused her to lose her speech.

A shock? What?

Master Ha Jun. I told Chairman Han...

all about Ga Heun's true identity and story.

That Ga Heun is Eun Jo.

That Ha Ra killed Eun Jo.

That she survived and came back to get revenge.

What is he talking about for so long with her?

It has been over an hour.

She couldn't speak until now...

and was in bed all day long.

Now that she can talk, she must have so much to say.

If she wants to tell him all the secrets she was keeping,

it'll take four days straight.

I'm sure she'll tell him that the evil witch...

killed Na Yeon...

and make all sorts of accusations about me.

I'm sure she'll say I tried to kill her...

and that I'm a lowly concubine's child.

I'm sure she'll tell him everything that Stepmom and Ha Ra did.

What? What did you just say?

You knew everything?

Yes, Mother.

I had an inkling...

about how Na Yeon died.

That it was Eun Hwa.

But you had been acting dumb all this time?

Does it really not bother you?

How could it not?

It's despicable.

I hated her to death.

But what matters is what came after.

Ha Ra's mom went through thick and thin...

while living with me.

If it weren't for her,

I may not be who I am today.

So? You won't kick out those evil witches?

Even if Ga Heun is Eun Jo?

Although Ha Ra committed such a heinous act?

It's my shortcoming.

Good or bad, Ha Ra is my child.

She is my blood, whom I must take care of.

My priority right now...

is protecting Jewang Group. That's what's important.

Sure. It'll be useless even if I tell him...

Ha Ra tried to kill me.

Even if I ask him what he did to Ji Na Hwang,

he won't tell me the truth.

What do I do?

I've raised you to be a monster.

Why are you crying, Mother?

It's such a happy day. You can talk again.

Byung Gook.

Are you really my son?

Mother.

I've burdened your heart.

But I must protect Jewang Group, which you built.

So I must bury the uncomfortable past.

I'll be entering politics soon.

I will make Ha Jun succeed me.

Burying everything isn't the answer.

Mother. Since you've retired,

don't think about it. Just rest comfortably.

Fine!

You're telling me to be quiet and stay out of your way!

It's late. Why are you all here? Why haven't you left for work?

Father. What did you talk about with Grandma for so long?

I wanted to keep her company now that she can talk again.

I didn't realize the time.

Honey. How's Mother?

Now that she can talk,

I hope she'll recover quickly.

I'll keep her company too.

She just fell asleep.

I'm sure you all want to talk to her,

but let her rest for a few days.

Okay.

I will.

Honey. Help me get ready for work.

Chairman Han.

What did you and the chairman talk about for so long?

What... Are you all right?

What did the chairman say?

Tell me.

My gosh. I could tell what you wanted to say...

just by looking at your eyes before.

But now that you can talk, I can't tell.

Chairman Han.

Why are you crying?

What is it?

Honey.

What did you and Mother talk about for so long?

Just...

about the new brand and things with the company.

And I told her not to worry about Ha Jun's wedding...

falling through.

What? You only talked about that for over an hour?

Then what? She just started to talk again.

I can't tell her everything that's going on.

I told her enough so that she wouldn't worry.

Really?

I will never forgive you for killing Na Yeon.

I'm only keeping you with me because I need you...

for my political career.

That's why Ha Jun will succeed me. Don't even dream of it.

Once you're no longer useful, you're out too.

I was just spending time with her, that was all.

It had been so long that I didn't realize the time.

I guess Mother didn't tell him about Na Yeon.

Anyway, what about what I told you to do?

Yes. That?

First, I plan to go to Na Wook Do's office.

Find someone competent this time.

We must get rid of Na Wook Do and Ga Heun.

Jewang's future is at stake.

Okay. I will.

Excuse me. Who are you?

Where's Wook Do?

Who are you? Why are you saying our boss's name so disrespectfully?

She's the vice president of Jewang Group.

Vice president?

Say hello. Do it.

Hello, ma'am.

Wook Do told us...

we'd be working for Jewang Group.

What brings you to our humble office?

- Please have a seat. - Please.

If you need us to do something, just say the word.

Then...

get rid of her.

What? This is the fake Ga Heun.

She's still alive?

There's one more person I need you to get rid of.

Who is it?

Give us a picture if you have one.

That way, we don't hurt the wrong person.

You don't need a picture.

You know him too.

Get rid of your boss,

Na Wook Do, as well.

What? Our boss?

Are you serious?

Come on now. We have a code too.

How could we kill our own brother?

Your brother? As if.

(Reform)

This is a down payment.

Once you get rid of them both,

I'll give you the same amount again.

Can you do it or not?

We'll do it. Of course, we'll do it.

This is our specialty.

Don't you worry.

- You have our loyalty! - You have our loyalty!

Visitations are prohibited,

but since she's just delusional,

her doctor said to make exceptions for her.

Okay, then.

Se Rin.

What happened to you?

Just a minute.

I'll give you an autograph later.

I'm very busy because I've had a stroke of genius.

A stroke of genius?

Se Rin. Don't be so hard on yourself.

You've worked very hard.

Who cares if you're not gifted?

You came to steal my designs.

Get lost!

How dare you peek at my sacred work?

Se Rin.

You've gone completely insane.

What will I do with you?

Mr. Kong Doo Ri will be here soon.

He wants to see my work.

That's right. The top actress Sul Ra Ra is coming too.

She said she wanted to wear my design before anyone else.

Se Rin. How could you not know that Eun Jo was DDM Queen?

I won't be suckered like you.

I won't let Eun Jo get her way!

They are...

exactly the same.

Those are all Eun Jo's designs.

You are unstoppable.

How could you plagiarize Eun Jo's designs...

even after you go crazy?

I didn't plagiarize anything.

- I'm DDM Queen! Me! - Help!

I'm DDM Queen!

Help!

I'm DDM Queen! Me!

DDM Venus.

DDM Venus.

Cho Shim

Is the woman for me

What happened to him? He won't even answer his phone.

When is Se Rin's dad coming?

I have to get to work.

He has nowhere to go...

but here.

He should be here soon.

You know DDM Queen, Ju Se Rin, right?

Yes. She had a huge launching show for DDM Venus recently.

She completely lost her mind...

after her father passed away.

She tried to kill herself during an interview...

and was locked up in a mental hospital.

My gosh. How did that happen?

That's not all.

Ju Se Rin fled and refused to accept her father's body.

She totally lost her mind.

What are they talking about?

Ju Se Rin? Isn't that Tae Sik's daughter?

Everyone's talking about Se Rin.

She refused to accept her father's body.

They're saying she's a terrible daughter...

and a demon.

Her father's body?

Hey. Tae Sik...

Tae... Tae Sik died?

Mom. Mom.

Mom.

See you later.

Bo Mi. What happened?

What do you mean, Se Rin's dad died?

I don't know. I only found out from the article online.

Mom was shocked and...

Okay.

- Get to work. - Okay, I'll go now.

Please look after her.

Cho Shim. Are you okay?

He said...

he'd be right back.

He said he'd be right back.

That was what he said.

My gosh. Cho Shim.

You poor thing.

My gosh. Cho Shim.

My gosh.

Don't cry.

Don't cry.

What?

Eun Jo's behind Se Rin's dad's death?

That's right. Se Rin couldn't handle the shock and was sent...

to a mental hospital yesterday.

This was the revenge Eun Jo mentioned?

She's so scary.

What if she kills someone else?

That's why you have to look after her.

Okay. I'll try.

What is Eun Jo thinking?

This won't do.

I need to go ask.

Bo...

Eun Jo!

I heard you made Se Rin's dad die. Is that true?

It is. I did it.

I did to him what Se Rin did to my dad.

That was my plan of revenge.

Are you kidding me?

Was this why you said you wouldn't return to being Eun Jo?

Was that why you said such hurtful things to your mom?

To cut all ties and do something this hideous?

Bo Mi. That's how revenge is.

Who takes revenge to be happy?

No matter how hard I try, I can't be the Eun Jo from back then.

I know you miss your mom.

That was why you sneaked in and took care of her and left.

I thought that was a sliver of hope.

But it was just torture.

Your mom may really snap if she finds out...

you killed a person.

Even I think...

it would be better for her to never see you again.

Yes. Please make sure of it.

Finally, we're on the same page.

That's good.

What?

Eun Jo!

I wanted to wish you luck and help you with your revenge.

I understood why you wanted to rip Ha Ra and Se Rin up...

and kill them!

But this is wrong.

You can't kill a person though. You shouldn't have done that.

Your mom and Eun Gyul must never find out what you did.

This time, I'm warning you.

Ga Heun. Don't come back.

Don't come back to being Eun Jo!

("Terrible Daughter Ju Se Rin Refuses to Accept Father's Body")

Se Rin's father's death really was Ms. Hwang's revenge?

Yes. She got her back for causing her own father's death.

Just like that day Se Rin refused to give Father...

his insulin shot.

She must've made Se Rin snap by recreating that scene.

Ga Heun destroyed Se Rin and her father.

Ha Ra and the Jewang family must be next.

Sir. The chairman wishes to see you.

He does?

You wanted to see me?

I heard you knew everything that Ha Ra did.

Why didn't you tell me?

But... How did you...

How I found out doesn't matter.

How I deal with it does.

Ga Heun is Eun Jo,

and she's here to get revenge at Ha Ra.

Not just that.

She's bent on getting revenge for Oman Group as well.

If you knew that, you should've told me!

I wanted to make Ha Ra pay for what she did.

As for Oman Group,

I wanted you and Ji Na Hwang to resolve it yourselves.

Of course, now that she passed away,

that opportunity was lost.

Ha Jun, you're so...

You were trying to resolve it like an ordinary person.

Ha Jun.

You're not from an ordinary family.

You're the heir of Jewang Group.

That is not how you deal with a stumbling block...

that threatens our family.

Seriously. How are you so soft?

I assume you're not still hung up...

on the girl who called off your wedding.

Even if you are, I want you to become tougher...

as my successor.

That is why I want you to know about this...

and hope can handle it.

What?

Ga Heun sent this to me.

You're right.

Chairman Oh Byung Gook told me to kill Ji Na Hwang.

I felt guilty, so I abducted her and took her to the mountain.

Oh Byung Gook was the one...

who hired me to do it.

Fa... Father...

Did you really order Na Wook Do...

to kill Ji Na Hwang?

You need to be able to handle this much now.

If you had told me what Ha Ra had done,

Ga Heun wouldn't have been able to run rampant like that.

You need to nip it...

in the bud.

What do you plan to do?

Ha Jun. Watch and learn.

I will...

get rid of both Na Wook Do and Ga Heun.

That is how I do things.

I have to stop him.

That's how I do things.

Is that true?

Chairman Oh ordered Na Wook Do to kill Ji Na Hwang?

That's right.

It wasn't Stepmom, it was Father.

My father killed a person.

How did you find out?

He told me himself.

Ms. Hwang sent him a recording of Na Wook Do confessing.

I listened to it myself.

My father plans to kill him and Ms. Hwang.

We must stop him. We must stop my father at all costs.

Wait a second.

Eun Jo sent the chairman Na Wook Do's recording?

Yes. She demanded he step down as chairman...

and apologize for what he did to Oman Group.

Father won't do it.

That isn't all.

Na Wook Do is Eun Jo's third target.

She sent the recording to the chairman...

to make him kill Na Wook Do himself.

What?

We need to get to Hwaipeu Fund. Now.

Take me to Se Rin.

You had her locked up there,

so you get her out.

Your love is amazing.

Fine, I'll take you.

Okay. They're in the same car together.

Okay. One shot, one kill.

That's Eun Jo's car. Na Wook Do is with her.

Who was that following them?

We have to hurry. Let's go.

Ga Heun. I said to leave Se Rin alone.

But you killed her father and put her in a mental hospital?

You're a monster.

You're the monster.

You abducted my mom and caused her death on the mountain.

You should be grateful I saved your life.

At least I gave your mom a chance to come back alive.

Because I had a conscience.

You killed a person, but you had a conscience?

Wook Do.

You're nothing but a murderer controlled by your desires.

You're trash!

Why am I trash?

I saw the people following them in Na Wook Do's office

They work for him?

Did they really hire them?

That's right. I'm sure my father or stepmom hired them...

to kill them.

No. We must stop them.

What... What's going on?

What are they doing here?

- Hey. What are you doing? - Sorry, boss.

Get out.

Come here. Where are you going?

Get back here. Get back here!

Darn it.

Who are you?

Darn it.

Our boss really can take a beating.

Don't waste your energy. Just go peacefully. Okay?

No. I have to protect Se Rin.

Na Wook Do!

Hey. Get in the car. Get in. Run.

Darn it.

Are you okay? Wake up.

Call an ambulance. Hurry.

A man was hit by a car.

Please call an ambulance.

Darn it. I have to go to Se Rin.

Se Rin is waiting for me.

I'll trust you and wait.

- Wook Do! - Se Rin!

Wook Do!

No... Wook Do!

No!

I have to save...

my pretty Se Rin.

Stay with me, Wook Do!

This is the address on the letter.

Are... Are you okay?

Watch where you're going. Are you blind?

Go. Get him out of here.

This is my office...

It's been so long. Let's grab a drink and catch up.

Buy me some meat.

I'd like to, but...

Here.

If I had stopped her back then...

Why am I so sleepy?

Wook Do.

Why aren't you here?

You said you'd come if I blew the whistle.

My Se Rin is calling for me.

Wait a little, Se Rin.

I'll be right there.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

Wook Do! You should've taken Oh Byung Gook with you!

You loser. How could you stop what I was doing?

- Father! - You're the only one...

who can do the right thing.

What are you doing here?

I heard you were entering into politics, so I brought a gift.

I won't bury what Ha Ra did.

- I'm going to dump her. - I have to be someone...

your dad needs.

That's the only way you and I can remain in this house.

It's me. Ha Ra.

There's something you need to know.
