The Eternal Love S3

Episode 30

This is the Glacial Soulweed.

It's about 20 cm long.

It's grayish-purple after it's dried.

Must keep this in mind.

The Glacial Soulweed is likely in the royal study.

Tomorrow night at 11 o'clock, sneak into the royal study

and look for this plant.

Stay safe.

Stop there.

What is this?

This...

This is a pine tree my master drew.

He wants me to frame it.

Go.

Senior Liu!

Sage Liu!

Senior.

What is wrong with you?

You woke me up with your loud voice.

I'm sorry.

Prince Consort Mo Lian Cheng needs a favor from you.

He is the husband of our ruler.

He can have anything he wants.

Why would he need my help?

Senior.

Your help is much appreciated.

But...

Are these jewelries too meager for you?

No.

Her Highness and I are old friends.

Our friendship is worth more than any amount of treasure.

To have earned the couple's acknowledgment

is the greatest honor of my life.

My soulmate needs help. I'll do whatever I can to help her!

You have my thanks, Senior.

Now that the jewelries are here already...

Yes.

It's too heavy for you to carry back and forth.

You could leave them here for safekeeping.

This is the pill that can replenish one's spirit.

Give it to Prince Consort.

This incense

is capable of knocking someone out in seconds.

Pass it to Yu Hao.

These are all top-notched.

Thank you, Senior.

Your Majesty. It's time.

The firework show will soon begin.

Wake up.

Liu Bai Shui's sleeping incense does work.

State your business here!

I...

Hurry.

Lian Cheng, I prepared this firework show specially for you.

A night sky of firework, fine wine under the moonlight.

And I have you by my side.

I've never felt so happy in a long time.

Tan Er, did you see this?

I wish you are here with me.

The firework is marvelous.

I can never repay such kindness.

I prepared a dance

to express my gratitude to Your Majesty.

How thoughtful of you.

I want every inch of the city searched.

Bring Mo Lian Cheng to me!

Yes.

What is taking them so long?

Indeed.

Hurry up!

Jing Xin, hurry up!

Hurry.

Are you all right?

I'm fine.

I thought you took the pill.

Why do you still look so weak?

I used my inner strength.

How about this?

Take another pill.

Otherwise, your body won't hold on for much longer.

Thank you, Senior.

This smells like the hair-removal pill.

My goodness! I got you the wrong pill.

Take this instead.

Yes, this is it.

Eighth Brother, get on the carriage.

Yes.

Fourteenth, you and Jing Xin

can wander the land and live in peace.

Yu Hao, after you've gone home...

All right.

Stop wasting your time

or the pill's effect will wear off.

Get on the carriage now!

Young Master, let's go.

Hurry.

Go on.

Quick!

Jing Xin, hurry.

This is my secret hideout.

When I first came here,

I was a young man in love.

Who was the fortunate lady

that got to enjoy the scenery together with you?

You wouldn't believe me anyway.

I will believe you.

What if I told you

Tan Er and I were destined to be in love in every lifetime,

would you believe me?

The most unreliable thing in this world is the human heart.

But it is also the most unyielding of all.

Those who are connected

will meet even at the edge of the world.

A lifetime

is but a blink of an eye.

I knew you would understand me.

The Red Star of Demise will appear in three days.

The Soul-guarding Bead, the Soul-parting Flute,

and the Glacial Soulweed are ready.

I'll play the Soul-parting Song continuously.

Tan Er will regain control over her body.

But as you mentioned before,

if you lose control,

you will disintegrate into ashes

just as Xiao Zhen did.

Are you sure about this?

Even if I miss it in this lifetime, I can try again in the next.

I...

will wait for her in my next lifetime.

Since you've made up your mind,

I'll do my best to aid you.

Report.

Your Majesty,

we searched everywhere,

but there was no sign of Mo Lian Cheng.

Dismiss.

Yes.

The Soul-parting Flute, where is it now?

This is fake.

It's fake.

It's all fake!

That's the tune of the Soul-parting Flute.

You're here.

You swapped the Soul-parting Flute with a fake

only to lure me here.

As long as you don't run away again,

I won't have as many guards watching you.

You will have your freedom!

Lian Cheng.

I can't live without you.

I can't lose you.

Stop lying to yourself.

I've never been

the man you are obsessed with.

Are you

still upset that I left you without a word?

Do you still blame me for betraying your love?

Is this your punishment for me?

Lian Cheng, I can't live without you.

I regret it now. I won't leave you again.

My love is Tan Er.

The man you loved

had died by your sword long ago.

Nonsense!

I can recognize you no matter what you've become!

Wherever you are,

I will always find you!

Do you think I wouldn't hurt you again?

Listen closely.

You have only one choice today.

And that is going back with me.

Stop it!

Stop it! Stop it now!

Qu Xiao Tan! Die!

Tan Er, hang in there.

You can defeat her!

Xiang Tan, can we not do this?

No one can stop me.

You can't stop me either.

Your clan has done nothing wrong.

Why should they live in the terror of war?

What will you gain from

having larger land and greater power?

in life

is none other than the heart.

Find and arrest Wei Zong Heng.

According to Senior Liu,

the remnants of the Demon Lord's soul remain.

The anomaly of the Soul-guarding Bead must be linked to Wei Zong Heng.

Yes.

There must be his ilks inside the court.

From now on,

the restrictions of the Three Obediences and Four Virtues will be abolished.

Women can now attend schools

and become officers.

Men should take up the responsibility to look after their families and children.

Men and women will now share equal status.

Both will share the same rights.

and you can have the ball, okay?

No. I don't want to eat it.

The scenery here is beautiful and peaceful.

And no one is here.

We'll plant some organic plants

and have some poultry.

It's a great plan.

I'll be the chairperson

But Tan,

it took us six hours

just to get here.

The path to fortune starts with road-building.

We can start by building the road.

If we could

we can have money pouring into our pockets.

For the first time ever, the imperial examination was open to women.

Three of them passed it as advanced graduates.

It seems like I've missed out on many talented scholars.

I'll be supervising the palace examination tomorrow.

I'll see if Your Majesty

is truly giving equal chances to men and women.

With your capability,

you will have many chances for political participation.

Of course.

There is one more thing

we should put into our schedule.

What is it?

Next year,

will I have a lively

and playful little princess

as my daughter?

It's not even the seven-year itch yet

and you already want another valentine?

Have you thought about

how should you take care of this valentine?

I will feed her, put her to sleep, and change her diapers.

I will share your burden.

What do you mean it's my burden?

Women aren't born to look after kids.

All right.

You will feed her.

I'll leave that to you.

As for putting her to bed and the diapers,

you can leave those to me.

That's more like it.
