The Eternal Love S3

Episode 29

Why was my father in such a hurry to call me in?

Nothing much.

Young Master.

I have some things to attend to.

Please go ahead to the place His Lordship mentioned.

I'll be right there.

Okay, be quick.

I'll wait for you.

By order of Crown Princess, arrest the rebel Mo Yuan Long.

Outrageous.

The Mo family has been loyal through the generations.

How dare you accuse us?

Charge!

Go!

My Lord, hurry and leave.

I believe Mr. Mo will definitely plead guilty.

Bring him here.

Let go of me!

-Let go of me! - Fourteenth Young Master left the city at night.

That's really unsafe.

So we brought him back.

Also, so that the two of you can see each other one last time.

But who will be collecting whose corpse

will depend on what you decide, Mr. Mo.

Xuan Er,

why didn't you leave when I asked you to?

I did leave.

Let go of me!

I am willing to plead guilty and be executed.

I only hope that Her Highness may spare the lives of my entire family

on account of my son.

The Mo clan has been loyal and tough,

Her Highness will surely grant your wish.

Okay.

Xuan Er, close your eyes.

Don't open them no matter what you hear.

Close your eyes!

This is my last instruction to you!

Listen to me, close them.

Father, Father!

Father!

Jing Xuan, be good.

It's a pity. Although Fourteenth Young Master's life could be spared,

Her Highness's command was

that no one else from the Mo Residence shall be spared.

Hurry!

Don't spare any of them!

Yes.

No!

Mo Residence

Father.

My son.

Father!

You're here.

It can't be that she wants to kill even you.

It's just that I've been plotting for a good half of my life,

but it all came to nothing in the end.

I can't swallow it.

Father, I understand.

Father, Father.

Actually, I'm not the Cheng Er you remember.

I come from another Dongyue.

A world exactly the same as this,

and it actually exists in reality.

Another Dongyue?

Was I also as useless as this there?

No, no.

In that Dongyue, you were the Emperor.

Dongyue's Emperor, whom everyone respects.

Really?

Emperor?

That's good.

Son.

Yan Chen,

Jing Xuan, and

Feng Yang.

Father, Father, Father!

Your Highness, Eldest Princess is here.

Okay, thank you.

Come in, Eldest Sister.

Jing Xin. You don't need to stay.

You can take your leave first.

I shall take my leave.

Trouble Eldest Sister to keep me company.

You originally didn't need to come.

But there's going to be a good show today,

which you need to know about.

Come in.

Your Highness, Mo Yuan Long has plead guilty in his residence and committed suicide.

Everyone in the Mo Residence has been killed,

including General Lu.

We've also retrieved Your Highness's Yin imperial token.

Eldest Sister.

Mo Yuan Long committed suicide, everyone in Mo Residence has been slaughtered.

I believe Mo Yan Chen

would be dead as well.

Aren't you going to cry for them, Eldest Sister?

I'm afraid even at the point of death, the Mo family and General Lu

would have thought it was you who caused their death.

So, you knew from long ago

that I would leak the news to them?

You're not as stupid as I thought.

Thanks to you,

I managed to directly obtain evidence that Mo Yuan Long was staging a rebellion,

and openly managed to get the yin and yang imperial tokens.

It was all because you tried to be smart,

causing Mo Yan Chen's death,

and causing the deaths of the whole Mo family.

Yan Chen...

Yan Chen...

Just kill me as well.

You want to die together with Mo Yan Chen?

You betrayed me,

but I can't bear to kill my own sister.

You're going to live on for me,

I still need you to pay for your crimes.

Yan Chen...

Empress used the secret technique to take over Tan Er's body.

Father was met with misfortune and died,

Yun Ying has followed his steps.

No one in the Mo Residence

was able to escape the same fate.

Qu Mei Er also fell into her trap.

Eldest Brother, don't be rash.

I want to kill her for revenge.

Father,

I once swore

that I'd kill that atrocious Empress and avenge you.

But what abilities do I have?

I can't even pay my respects to you

openly.

Now I know how useless and helpless I am.

I have nothing now.

You do.

I, Wei Qian Mo, am here to pay my belated respects to Mr. Mo.

We pay our belated respects to Mr. Mo.

Sir, you are...?

Young Master,

we are all old acquaintances of Mr. Mo.

We respect his righteousness.

Ten years ago, I was willing to come under his command,

gathering troops in secret,

joining forces with all those

who have been suffering in Dongyue under the tyrant's rule.

Mr. Mo had the ability to overthrow the tyrant long ago,

but he kept hesitating to make a move.

Now that he has lost his life because of the atrocious Empress,

all the troops we have will follow your command

and avenge Mr. Mo.

Revenge! Revenge!

Late Father Mo Yuan Long's Tomb

So it seems that the chips Father had in his hands

far exceeded what we knew of.

Father, I had always thought

that you didn't care about his children's happiness at all.

Thinking about it now, it seems that he cared too much,

which is why you didn't carry out your grand plan.

I've wronged you.

This time,

I will definitely avenge you.

I owe a debt of gratitude to you all.

Since everyone has come to avenge my father,

I won't stand on ceremony.

The day after tomorrow is the grand ceremony for the atrocious Empress's coronation.

When she ascends the throne and offers sacrifices to Heaven,

that will be when she dies.

Revenge! Revenge! Revenge!

Revenge! Revenge!

Princess's Residence

Your Highness,

these are the ceremonial robes the Ministry of Rites prepared for you and Prince Consort.

Please take your pick and try them on.

You decide, I'm okay with anything.

I forgot to tell you.

I've brought Fourteenth back.

The Mo Residence has fallen,

he'll be taken care of at the Princess's Residence.

I won't allow you to lay a finger on Fourteenth.

Don't worry.

Although the Mo family committed treason,

Fourteenth is still a child,

he won't be implicated.

Whether or not I lay a finger on him depends on you.

Ministers.

Today, I only wish to carry out justice of the Heavens,

I do not want to hurt the innocent.

If you'd like to live, do not act rashly.

Today should have been a day for the entire nation

to celebrate the new Empress's ascension to the throne,

but you've ripped my family apart,

so I must put a stop

to you becoming the immortal empress.

Not for the people under these skies,

but for myself,

and for my beloved, whom you've blasphemed.

How come it's you?

Yan Chen, run!

You've fallen into a trap.

I won't leave you behind.

I stabbed you once by mistake,

I don't want to owe you anything. Go.

Young Master, we fell into a trap.

Hurry and go!

Be careful.

Young Master, I shall help you one last time.

Qian Mo!

Let's go.

Let's go.

Mei Er.

Mei Er.

How dare you do this?

I've told you already,

I don't want to owe you anything!

You've never owed me anything.

It was me who made too many mistakes.

It's me who wasn't able to understand you

and protect you well.

Yan Chen.

In the next lifetime,

I...

In the next lifetime, as you wish,

I wish that you'll never meet me again,

and that you'll never fall in love

with someone who doesn't love you.

Brother Yan Chen.

Tan Er.

Brother Yan Chen, I've missed you so much.

Tan Er, it's really you.

Let him go!

Brother Yan Chen.

I will now let Tan Er stay with you forever.

No!

Eldest Brother!

Eldest Brother!

I gave him a chance to live,

but he wouldn't let me off.

The same goes for you.

You always ask me to let unimportant people off,

but have never thought of letting me off.

So you already knew.

As ordered by the late Empress,

I was going to pray to the Heavens.

However, Dongyue is so strong that we need not fear the Heavens.

Why should I, the ruler of Dongyue, ask the Heavens to be coronated?

If someone hinders my path, and hinders Dongyue's path to dominance,

even if it's the Heavens' will,

I have nothing to fear.

Today, I succeed to the throne as Empress of Dongyue

and bestow upon Mo Lian Cheng the position of the ruler of the harem.

That's all.

Long live the Empress.
