Now apparently a couple of weeks ago, unbeknownst to us,

Dynamo took a trip to our studio to deliver a mysterious package.

In this episode, I head back to the UK and catch up with some old friends.

From the streets of London...

I take my magic back to where it all began

and make one of the biggest predictions of my life.

with millions of people caught up in a never-ending cycle.

In the chaos, it's easy to take the most important things for granted.

DYNAMO: it was the day of the Euro 2012 quarter finals,

and Genero had agreed to drive me to a secret location in north London.

I wanted to make a prediction on one of Europe's biggest sporting events.

This is Dynamo's, this is Genero.

- And we are... - You need to show your face on camera.

We are outside a shop, and we're gonna go into the shop,

and I'm gonna film what takes part in the shop.

- Okay. - What sort of shop?

So what I'm gonna do is,

follow you and film the whole thing for my own personal usage.

I'd arrange to meet one of the most prolific musicians in the country,

Damon Albarn.

I met Damon back in 2006

at a Gorillaz concert at the Harlem Apollo in New York,

and now he'd invited me to pass by his London studio

to meet some of his friends and family.

DYNAMO: It was the morning after the Euro Championship quarter finals,

and I'd placed a £1 bet on the winners.

I needed to make sure my bet was kept safe, and I knew the perfect place.

- Morning, sir. - How are you doing, are you all right?

- Is Phillip in today? - No.

Great, all right.

(ELEVATOR BELL DINGS)

I called the producers of This Morning

and told them I'd be delivering an envelope for Phillip Schofield.

I asked them to keep it locked away and not to tamper with it until I returned.

Give the letter to Brett and he'll give it to Phillip for you.

I'm good, man. So basically I've got a package for Phillip Schofield.

As the quarter finals came to a close, eight teams became four,

and England crashed out on penalties, again.

The next day I headed to Camden Town in north London.

My hand was tingling like crazy, my fingers were twitching and everything.

What I've got planned could potentially go wrong.

It's unbelievable, innit?

DYNAMO: The semi-finals, Spain beat Portugal on penalties.

And the Italians beat a strong German side to win their place in the final.

The art of magic is ail about precision and timing.

I wanted to test some of the skills I'd learned over the years,

so I headed to a bar in west London to put on a small demonstration.

I've been working on my card skills for years,

and I can tell what card someone's thinking of, you know,

and I can kind of do crazy shuffles, like this.

(SHUFFLING CARDS)

But the one thing that I'm always trying to master,

and my friends are always challenging me,

is throwing cards at, you know, high speeds. So it's super accurate.

My friends are always saying, "Hit that guy over there."

Soto begin with,

I'm gonna take a piece of newspaper, and would you mind helping me?

Yeah, if you go that side.

Yeah, 'cause if you're standing right there then it might hit you.

(LAUGHING)

(STUTTERING) You hold there, you hold the bottom.

I've been working on it for a while. Holding really tight.

I've been a supporter of the Teenage Cancer Trust for years.

Visiting the wards is a truly inspirational experience.

And it's incredible to see the difference they make

for young people suffering with the disease.

- I've been doing it since I was like 11. - Yeah.

My Grandpa showed me some stuff.

Later that afternoon I headed over to Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Essex,

which looks after a wide range of abandoned animals.

I came here last year with Leona Lewis, who is one of the sanctuary's patrons.

And I always like to pass through when I'm in the area.

Yeah, now inside there is actually a gift for a charity

that I've done a lot of work with over the years called the Teenage Cancer Trust.

So whatever is in here is a present for them?

Yeah, it's a present for them.

But it's live TV, so, you know, what I've got planned could potentially go wrong.

- I'm so excited. Can we open it? - Go for it.

I sealed it in a red envelope. The betting slip.

HOLLY: Phil, look. It says you. You didn't win.

- DYNAMO: It says Phillip. - Mmm-hmm.

And it's signed. There's the date on the back.

And if you look down at the winner, at the bottom, obviously the final was yesterday.

Now to get it to be that, I had to do an accumulator bet.

Because not only did I bet on the winner, but I also bet

on the outcome of every match in the quarter final, you can see there.

Portugal, Germany, Spain, Italy, all through. Italy on penalties.

The semi-final. Spain to win on penalties against Italy.

Dynamo just turned up, it was about 10 o'clock in the morning.

Gave me this red envelope, which is now obviously open.

So I put it in there and it's been locked in my cupboard ever since.

No one's seen it until today, till we opened it first thing today.

There's no way anyone could have even touched it.

I had it locked in my cupboard, essentially it was double locked.

So it was locked in the suitcase and locked in my cupboard upstairs in my desk.

I started to think about the incredible journey I'd taken over the last six months.
