[My Dear Guardian]

[Episode 35]

So, we're going to enter the exercise ground.

We're just to bring someone back.

If you're scared,

you can go home to your mum.

Of course not.

Come on.

Did you find anything?

Shrapnel.

Here's the minefield

where China and X Nation went through war ten years ago.

After this, we will

walk past the Chinese border.

Then,

we'll reach the drill site.

Be careful.

Let's go.

Just place it there.

Be careful.

These medicines are for

wounds and dysentery.

The soldiers stay outdoors most of the time.

Please handle it with care.

Dong.

You can't do that.

You have to take a break now.

My soldiers are not back yet.

-Dong! -Brigade Commander!

Inform the control room now.

Hurry up, inform them.

The Brigade Commander is not feeling well.

He can't conduct the drill anymore.

No one is allowed to contact him.

I'm okay.

Dong!

Brigade Commander!

-What's wrong? -Dong!

What's wrong?

-Dong! -Brigade Commander!

Stay away, don't surround the Brigade Commander.

Do you have a torchlight?

I have it.

Brigade Commander, open your mouth.

The Brigade Commander is having an allergy.

What did the Brigade Commander eat?

Or

did he get bitten by anything?

Bitten?

Now I remember.

He was bitten by a bug before.

What happened?

He's having chest tightness, dizziness, breathing difficulty,

and allergy symptoms.

I suspect he's suffering from anaphylaxis

after being bitten by bugs.

He's also having laryngeal edema.

Get ready for emergency treatment.

Sure.

Let's go.

Hurry up.

-Bring the safe here. -Yes.

Put him down.

Contingency Plan No. 1 is activated.

I'll contact the control room

to report the unexpected situation.

The head of staff

will take over the Blue Team

for the moment.

Yes!

Don't let me die in this minefield.

I swear if we make it out of here,

then I'm going to kill everyone on the field.

We're here to kidnap a person.

There are so many people in China.

How are you going to kill them all?

There are so many of them.

So you can miss.

Chief.

An explosion took place at the minefield near the border.

Send some people there

to find out what had happened.

Brigade Commander.

How do you feel?

I'm feeling so much better.

Xia Chu, I'm all right.

Head of staff.

I'm here.

Where are our people?

Liang Mu Ze...

They're already at the base.

There's some emergencies.

What happened?

Brigade Commander, take a rest.

Brigade Commander, please lie down.

-Brigade Commander. -Please calm down.

Brigade Commander.

That won't do. The blood pressure is too low.

Brigade Commander is not in an ideal condition.

It'd be better to send him to the nearest hospital

for further treatment.

-Get the car ready. -Yes.

No, I don't want to go.

-I don't want to go! -Brigade Commander.

This is an order from the Political Commissar!

-Brigade Commander! -Please calm down, Brigade Commander!

Take a rest.

-This is an order! -I'm not going.

Brigade Commander.

Captain.

We've completely put down

Red Team's trump card.

It's safe to say that we make Brigade Commander proud, right?

We'll make him treat us to a meal.

Make him get each of us a wife too.

Yes, get a wife!

Captain!

We just received orders from the command centre.

We're instructed to head towards border number six now.

Border number six?

Why do we have to go there again?

We just came back from there.

That place is full of Red Team members.

It's okay.

Let me report to Brigade Commander

about the situation in the past two days.

Captain.

It's quite urgent.

An explosion took place at the border.

The command centre has ruled out

the possibility of accidental bombing during the drill.

Therefore,

you guys need to check on the situation

and see if it's caused by the participating soldiers.

Besides that,

something went wrong

with Brigade Commander Dong's health.

He's been sent to the district hospital for emergency treatment.

We'll check on Dong later.

Xiao Teng!

Yes.

Gear up for battle

and gather here in five minutes.

Yes!

As the exercise ground is too close to the border,

the commander in chief worries that

if any soldiers lost their way

or crossed the border to another country by mistake

it'll likely

bring negative impact to our country and the military.

Therefore, we're instructed to gear up for combat

and check out the border.

Pay attention, everyone.

This is the real deal.

500m high ground up ahead.

Split up and observe the area.

Report to me once you detect any drill soldiers.

Yes.

Platoon leader.

We're next to the border.

I guess the noise

came from here.

It could be some wild animals

stepping on landmines

left over from the war era.

Don't go near that area.

We should head north along the border.

The Blue Team's territory is about three kilometres away.

That time,

we'll catch Blue Team by surprise.

Hold on, man.

Everyone, come here!

I have a way to keep you alive.

Okay?

Help!

Help!

Hello, 001.

I'm 011.

Please respond.

You two, come with me.

The rest of you, stay here and be vigilant.

Let's go.

Are you okay?

Don't fire the gun!

We're not on a drill. We're on a mission.

What was the noise?

Where is your leader?

He's at the minefield.

It seems that someone got injured.

Our platoon leader went there with two other soldiers.

Contact the command centre.

You two come with me.

The rest of you stay here and wait for further instructions.

Yes!

Go get a car.

We need to go there.

Follow the clues and we'll find the doctor.

Let's go.

Continue the drill.

We won't expose your whereabouts.

When I'm back to the camp,

I'll report to the superiors about your situation.

Saving a foreigner

is sort of a big deal.

That person sneaked into the border

without any reason.

However, he's lucky.

If you didn't reach there in time,

he would have died from bleeding.

He put on the tourniquet on his own.

The tourniquet was already there when we found him.

Does the command centre know that the injured person is a foreigner?

Yes.

The command centre has informed the Public Security Bureau.

The head of the PSB instructed us to send him to the hospital.

Interrogation will start after he has received treatment.

Let's go back to the base.

Can I hitch a ride?

Sure.

Get into the car!

He was alone when we found him.

He's a foreigner.

As we're having a drill,

the Chief commanded us

to send him to the local hospital.

Do you know his situation?

What?

How did he injure himself?

He stepped on the landmine at the border.

It's about 45 minutes ago.

He used a bandage to stop the bleeding.

The drill has just started

but many accidents have taken place.

It's normal to have accidents during the drill.

This way.

What happened to him?

He's bitten by bugs

which leads to anaphylaxis.

His blood pressure is low.

He needs further treatment.

Okay.

Captain and I will go to the district hospital.

Bring the rest back to the camp.

Clean up the equipment and take a break.

Got it.

If anyone asks about us,

tell them

we're reporting to the Brigade Commander.

Yes.

Brigade Commander Dong.

Rest well.

Leave the military exercise to the Head of Staff and the Political Commissar.

Don't worry too much.

Rest well and have a speedy recovery.

Xia Chu, thank you.

You're welcome.

Please take care of Brigade Commander Dong.

I'll get going then.

Okay, you may get back to work.

[She's heading back to the site.]

[They've left. On the way back to the drill site.]

Monitor!

What are the Emergency Response Units we have?

We have a troop to ensure the safety of the site,

a border brigade and a Special Forces Brigade.

Besides that,

about ten members of Commandos Team Thunder

which is Blue Team in the drill are also with us.

The team is led by the captain, Liang Mu Ze.

Tell the Emergency Response Units to be ready.

The medical team and Liang Mu Ze

will go to the scene of the accident with Commandos Team Thunder.

Contact the local police.

Find out the culprit and the vehicle.

Yes!

Tian Yong.

Tian Yong!

Get up.

Tian Yong.

Get up.

I've missed you so badly.

♫ There's something about you that makes me strangely addicted ♫

♫ I keep wanting to open my heart ♫

♫ Afraid of your anticipation, some things cannot be repeated ♫

♫ We can't reject it when fate chooses us ♫

♫ I'll hesitate when I get close, I'll be sad if I miss it ♫

♫ Your lovely smile, your pure heart ♫

♫ Are irreplaceable ♫

♫ Accustomed to your presence ♫

♫ Being loved every moment ♫

♫ Until the day we meet ♫

♫ Can the missing companionship instantly fulfil ♫

I'm sorry.

♫ Your love ♫

How is it going?

Are you okay?

I'm okay.

Xia Chu was abducted.

They were in a yellow truck.

Each of them was holding a weapon.

Where did they go?

They headed towards the town.

Koala, pass me the locator.

Are they heading towards the border?

They're going to the beach.

I think they're going to the open sea.

Inform the command centre

and request for helicopters.

Yes!

I'm...

-I'm part of... -The People's Liberation Army of China.

I pledge...

I pledge...

to be loyal to the authority of the Constitution,

to serve the people with integrity,

to obey orders, to be devoted to my duty,

to be disciplined, to keep secrets,

to be strong and fearless,

to practise hard to master the military skills,

to be ready for battle at all time,

to never betray the military,

to defend the Motherland to the death...

Never betray the military.

Defend the Motherland to the death.

Never betray the military.

Salute!

Never betray the military.

Defend the Motherland to the death.

Never

betray

the military.

What do you want to say?

What?

When all hares are killed ,

the hounds will be stewed and eaten.

You...

Who are you?

Who am I?

Don't you know Zhuo Ran?

Both of you attended classes together,

went home together after school,

wandered around on bicycle,

and read detective novels.

Have you forgotten?

No.

You're not him.

He won't treat me like this.

Who are you?

You gave up on him first!

You chose Liang Mu Ze.

Zhuo Ran was so kind to you.

You're his dream.

However, you betrayed him

for a person who murdered him!

You deserve to die.

Easy.

Let me tell you.

You people owe him

everything that's happened today!

We don't have time for this.

We have to withdraw immediately.

Our boss is waiting for us in the open sea.

Let's go.

No problem.

You have my permission.

Tell Liang Mu Ze

to spare no expense.

Rescue the hostage

before they flee to the open sea!

Attention!

This is the People's Liberation Army of China.

Stop the boat now

for inspection.

Reporting to the control room.

Two speedboats are heading towards an isolated island at region number five.

They might enter the deserted resort on the island.

We're seeking permission to go on the island.

Got it.

Inform Team Thunder

to be careful on the island.

Inform the public security bureau

to provide assistance.

Follow up now.

Yes!

We should be leaving here as soon as possible.

Without evidence, the Chinese police

won't act rashly.

Do you want to bet?

Just give me a little more time

to finish with this deal.

We have a lot of pressure from the Chinese.

They're asking us to hand over their people.

I need an answer to everything.

Now, I can't wait any longer.

Answer what?

They destroyed our goods,

ruined my business

and dared to make trouble

in my place.

If they really want to play like this,

I'll play with them.

You're an outsider here.

You're a guest.

Next month,

Ba Ye will stand for re-election.

In the event that the Chinese Police is involved

and getting international,

who would protect you?

Old Master.

Tian Yong escaped.

Old Master!

We've checked the CCTV recording.

Tian Yong didn't leave the mansion.

Go to the study room.

Master.

Master.

Please.

Please give me some.

Please.

Let me have a sip.

Go away!

Look at me.

How could I forget that

he serves no purpose anymore?

Come on!

This is the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

You've been surrounded.

Surrender now!

Let's go.

I'll cover you.

Go to the rooftop.

Meeting point.

Okay.

-Move. Come on! -Come on!

We're not going to surrender.

Backup is on the way.

You'll never catch us.

Come on!

I'm on the meeting place, the rooftop.

We need to hurry to get me out of here.

Don't move! Put the gun down!

Stay away or I'll kill her!

I said, put the gun down.

I'll shoot you!

Put your gun down!

Come on!

Don't move!

Stay away!

Go!

Come on!

Xia Chu.

Liang Mu Ze.

Xia Chu.

Hang in there. I'm coming.

Liang Mu Ze.

Liang Mu Ze.

Hang in there.

Liang Mu Ze, I can't take it anymore.

Don't be scared. Hang in there.

I'll count to three

and I'll come to you.

One, two, three!

You're safe.

Don't be scared.

Xia Chu.

We need to get up.

Okay?

Hold me tightly.

Hold me tightly and get up.

The steel wire is going to break.

Hold me tightly.

Let's jump to the other side.

Liang Mu Ze.

I can't do it.

You can do it.

Trust me.

-I can't do it. -We don't have the time.

Do you trust me?

I'll catch you.

Trust me,

okay?

♫ I learn to face the music instead of evading it ♫

♫ Remembering your interests, getting closer to you ♫

♫ If I can't predict the future, I'll leave it up to fate ♫

One, two, three!

♫ I can't remember when I fell in love with you ♫

♫ I am afraid that I might lose you one day ♫

We're safe.

Xia Chu.

♫ Every minute, every second, how do I resist? ♫

We're safe.

♫ I can't help but look forward to your return ♫

We're safe.

♫ Replaying the moment I fell in love ♫

We're safe.

Liang Mu Ze, I want to be with you.

No matter where you go, I want to be with you.

Okay.

No problem.

But you need to get up now.

Xia Chu, I can't take it anymore.

-No. -Xia Chu.

You need to get up. I can't take it anymore.

Captain!

Liang Mu Ze!

I'm fine.

It's just a small wound.

Liang Mu Ze!

Liang Mu Ze, get up!

Please take a look.

This is the entrance to Liang Village.

It's recorded by CCTV.

Pei Yu?

Is it okay?

Xia Chu.

It's me.

You're so beautiful.

Really?

I'm not as pretty as your tutor.

You're prettier than her.

Who is prettier,

me or the nurse in Isaia?

You're the prettiest.

You're pretty.

Of all the beauty in the world,

you're the 99 percent.

The remaining ladies

share the remaining one percent.

Can you imagine how pretty you are?

Liang Mu Ze.

How did you find me?

Take a guess.

In general, men who speak rhetorically

are experienced in love.

To be honest,

how many girlfriends did you have?

Where did you hear that theory?

Please answer my question.

Have you ever cooked spare rib soup?

Let me tell you.

Spare rib soup

has to be boiled on high heat first.

Then, cook it on low heat.

It'll take a few hours.

The longer it's cooked, the better the taste.

You'll meet many people on the journey.

When a huge pot of soup

boils down to a small bowl,

the colour,

the taste,

and the nutrition value of the soup

are at their richest.

That bowl of soup is only for one person.

It's for you, Xia Chu.

Got it?

I'm that bowl of soup.

Just drink the soup.

Don't ask about the cooking process.

Captain Liang.

Why didn't I realise

you're so good at saying cheesy pick up lines?

Who is the bewitcher between us?

It makes no difference.

No matter what, it's between us.

Listen.

Ever since

I fell asleep beside you defencelessly,

I knew that I'm doomed.

I'm doomed.

I, Liang Mu Ze,

will always belong to Xia Chu.
