Lost Promise

Episode 20

Have a seat.

Remember.

Walk out of the gate of Chillecho Valley now.

Within six months,

no matter what you hear

and what you see ,

don't ever come back.

Master.

It only takes three months

to Canglang Island

instead of half a year.

There are many people in the world.

Only you've practiced the Diurnal Heart Sutra.

You will definitely become a threat

for the five major sects.

Not only the five sects.

So

you must be careful.

If they want it, practice on their own.

The five major sects are always bragging about

how powerful their kung fu is.

Like Ghostimage Skill

and Red Cedar Heart Technique.

Diurnal Heart Sutra

is a combination of the heart sutra

of the five sects.

So

it's far above

anyone of them.

Not to mention that you have in your body

the only Diurnal Divine Pearl in the world.

They are no match for you

to fight head -on.

But

an obvious enemy is easy to notice,

while the sneaky s word is hard to defend.

But...

Jingxing.

You've been my disciple for 15 years.

Whether I'm your teacher or father,

after you leave,

maybe...

it'll take half a year before we can see each other again.

If you come back and find that

I've gone on a trip to a remote place,

you must take care of

Susu for me.

All right.

You should go now.

Go.

Grandpa.

Grandpa, what's for?

Qingliu .

Your internal strength is recovered,

I'm relieved.

Relived?

For what?

You know what?

You went mad on the day

you succeeded as Master of Wulin.

I chose to

keep it a secret

for the sake of you and the Jiang family .

I hope that one day

your inner strength can be restored

to take the great

responsibility of Master of Wulin.

Grandfather.

I've made you worry.

It's just

how did you recover your inner strength?

Grandfather.

Of course, it's because you taught me well.

As far as I know,

anyone who has gone mad

must inject his own internal energy

into the body of a great master.

And then he will

open his two veins to run

the body's inner Qi.

It will take years to heal.

If you hadn't met a great master,

then the only person who could do this

would be the one who had practiced the Diurnal Heart Sutra.

Is it

Boye Jingxing?

Grandfather.

Are you really happy for

my recovering?

Rumor has it

that Jing was Boye Jingxing.

I thought it was nonsense at the time.

But now I want to know.

Should I believe it

or not?

Grandpa.

Shouldn't Jiang family

change our way of thinking

and way of life

after so many adversities?

What I'm asking you is

should I believe

Jing is Boye Jingxing?

Rumor also has it

my father was killed by the Jiang family.

Grandpa, do you think

I should believe it

or not?

In Jianghu,

there are struggles for power and profit.

Fighting and conflicting

are common.

You just have to remember

everything Grandpa does

is for the good of the Jiang family.

That's all.

For the good of the Jiang family?

That's for sure.

Grandpa.

You will definitely be

a legend in Jianghu.

Qingliu has grown up

with more ideas too.

From now on, the Jiang family

is in your hands.

Don't worry, Grandpa.

Please inform Lord Nangong.

Tell him Jiang Yintian wants to see him.

A moment, please.

Lord Nangong.

Who has the better chance of winning?

My chess piece

or his?

Do you understand?

I don't quite understand it.

You have no other choice now.

You can only choose to cooperate with me.

The Jiang family of the Amberverde Mansion

has been known for generations

for contribution to protect the Emperor .

Why should

we want to cooperate with you?

Do you think you'd still

have a chance of getting out of here alive

if you don't cooperate with me?

If you kill innocent people

by framing us,

I'm afraid the entire Wulin

won't spare you,

not to mention our Jiang family.

What a righteous Wulin hero.

But

if those martial artists know

that the respected master in their hearts

even killed his own son

for his own personal gain.

Guess

who they will judge first .

There is already a verdict

about Shaosang's death in Jianghu.

You can't use this to b lackmail me.

Old Master.

I know what you want.

I can even give you more.

In a few days,

the country will change its name

to Nangong's reign.

I'll leave you the position of the State Master.

How is that?

It's a treasonous act

to commit rebellion.

Aren't you afraid of dying a harsh death?

You don't have to give me an answer in a hurry.

I'll give you 2 hours.

Do you want an honorable position

or do you want to go to be executed?

It's your call.

Wait.

If Lord Nangong

can do me a favor,

I can consider working with you.

Go ahead.

You should be familiar with

the name Boye Jingxing, right?

Go on.

He is not only my sworn enemy.

I'm afraid he'll also be your biggest problem in the future.

Why don't we join forces to get rid of him?

You won't object, will you?

Deal.

But

tomorrow in court.

We should let the show go on.

Take him back.

I think this game of chess

is a draw.

It's a

life-or-death struggle.

A battle to the death.

There is no draw.

Do you understand?

Lord Nangong.

I 've come here, to...

F orget it.

Your intention

is all written on your face.

Tell me.

Where is Boye Jingxing?

How many people do you need?

Lord.

You're very perceptive.

I don't like to owe people favors.

I'll help you first.

Then you help me.

Is that okay?

Am I being a friend?

Like a righteous friend.

You've been in Jianghu all your life.

I've been in the court all my life.

Who can anyone compete with us

in this world

if we work together?

Young lady.

Young lady.

What's the matter?

Don't be so panic.

Is the young lady here?

Someone asked me to deliver this letter

to the young lady immediately.

Give it to me.

Okay.

Who asked you to deliver it?

Greetings to Master Jing.

I've found out all about the secret of the Chillecho Valley's

extermination of 11 years ago.

Come and meet me at Temple of Mt. South.

Remember,

you must come alone.

You know who I am.

Where is the Temple of Mt. South?

In... Mt. South.

Where is Mt. South?

South of the city.

How to get to the south of the city?

Go out and keep...

going south .

Smart.

You should think about who this person is.

Could it be a trick?

Even it's a pit, I have to jump into it.

I've lived my whole life for this.

Don't.

Then I have to go with you.

" Remember to come alone."

Valley Master.

Chuan Huadie.

Yes.

Master Jing, what are your orders?

Turn around.

Where to go?

Out the door to the south.

All the way to the south.

Valley Master.

That's south.

Fuel up, go straight

to the Mt. South.

Straight to the Mt. South.

Power increased.

That's it.

Leave me here.

You can go back.

Where are you going?

Don't worry about it.

Go back.

If I' m going back,

what are you going to do?

I have my own way.

Go back.

No.

Go back.

No.

I won't go back.

Stand up.

Turn backwards.

Run away.

Where on earth are you going?

I have to protect you.

I'm not just your ride.

I'm also your bodyguard.

Do I need your protection?

But,

you are with...

Go back.

She's killing me.

I'll go to your husband for justice.

Don't move.

Who is it?

Answer my questions, don't talk too much.

I don't want your life yet.

I've been helping people all my life.

I don't have any enemies.

My life is not worth much either.

If you want it, take it.

Where is Boye Jingxing?

There is no such person here.

I' m talking about Jiang Qingliu's concubine.

Where's Jing?

Someone just sent a letter to her.

It's as mysterious as you.

She took the letter and went out.

She's really not at Amberverde Mansion?

A poisoner never says

deceitful words.

Good.

Then you tell her for me

I'm here for what happened 11 years ago

to avenge the death of my father.

Susu.

You're Susu?

Don't move.

Who are you?

Susu.

You're still alive?

I'm your Uncle Ku Lianzi.

Do you remember?

Ku Lianzi.

It's really Susu.

Ku Lianzi.

Follow me.

Hello, how do I get to Mt. South?

Over this mountain.

Thank you.

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

You sure?

What are you doing here?

You're fast.

How did I get here?

Thank God I'm here.

I just ran into

Ku Lianzi.

I knew there is a trick

when I saw the letter.

So I came here immediately.

Ku Lianzi told me to e xercise more.

The baby grows faster if I move more.

Don't worry.

Your little baby

is fine.

The baby is fine.

What about you?

Jing.

Why are you so stupid now?

If you're not coming,

the person will hold doubts at most.

But once you come…

I know.

My identity will be exposed.

I don't know where this letter

came from.

It doesn't matter who sent it.

Ever since the murder of the Chillecho Valley 11 years ago,

I've been the enemy of the whole world.

I've got used to it over the years.

I can do it again.

It's just...

Just what?

You still think

you are the same Boye Jingxing as before?

With your current body,

what if the whole Wulin

comes to kill you?

I want to say.

It's just you're

the first in line of succession

of Master of Wulin.

If your wife

is the big devil, Boye Jingxing,

and everyone learns about that,

what should you do?

To be Master of Wulin,

you know,

I, Jiang Qingliu,

am not a person who is greedy for fame and fortune.

If the entire Wulin comes to arrest you,

I must protect you and t he child.

That's what I should do.

Think about it.

I'm actually proud.

I'm proud of it.

Shouldn't I?

Big devil wife.

Jing.

Jing.

No way.

It can't be the young master's work.

Why would she want to destroy Chillecho Valley?

This is what I saw.

After the massacre,

I returned to Chillecho Valley.

My father,

my uncle,

brothers.

Corpses were all over the place.

Blood flowed like a river.

Boye Jingxing was standing in the blood.

I can never forget

her red eyes.

Brother.

Susu?

Where have you been?

Father asked me to...

Where's my father?

Father.

Father.

Father.

Father.

Father.

Master has gone.

Your Flying Awl?

I thought

there was no one left in Chillecho Valley

I didn't expect you'd come back.

You didn't expect?

So that no one would know that you destroyed here

and slaughtered your fellow disciples?

Susu, what are you doing?

You're out of your mind?

Yes I am.

I will take your life.

When I woke up,

I was already in Yin-Yang Clan.

Yin-Yang Clan?

You're talking about Wei Xiao of Yin-Yang Clan?

Ye s.

He's the one who saved my life.

Susu.

Did you actually see the young master kill someone?

Yes.

I saw Brother Nie

dead in her arms.

Blood was dripping

from his Flying Awl.

Susu.

Sometimes,

what the eyes see

may not be real.

Not to mention that these are just your speculations.

The person who appeared at the murder scene

may not be the real murderer, right?

Do you

actually want me to see

how they were killed?

My father took good care of you .

Why are you defending the murderer?

The old valley master

did save my life then.

You are his own daughter

while Boye Jingxing was his eldest disciple.

Between you and Boye Jingxing,

if there were no grudges or wrongs,

I should favour you more .

Susu.

But in this matter of blood feud,

I have to defend a good man

who had been wrongly judged.

The old valley master

had a feeling that a big disaster was coming.

So he arranged for you and the young master

to leave Chillecho Valley first.

I know about this.

At the time of the crime,

the young master

was n ot in the valley like you.

She just rushed back to Chillecho Valley

before you did.

Susu.

Think about it.

If you had arrived first,

wouldn't the young master have also seen

you standing in the blood?

How could I do that ?

It wouldn't be you.

I'm just making an analogy.

In fact, in the past eleven years,

the young valley master

has been searching for the real murderer as you did

to avenge your father's death.

You've wronged her .

She's your sibling, Susu.

But I have a question.

Why was Wei Xiao present at the scene?

Yin-Yang Clan has always been at odds with all the major sects.

Wei Xiao

is always so stealthy.

Isn't it suspicious

that he appeared at the scene?

People believe what they want to believe.

Do you understand, Susu?

I don't understand.

I won't take you as Boye Jingxing's accomplice

for the friendship you shared with my father.

But

I've already convinced

Boye Jingxing is the murderer.

This is a grudge between her and me.

I don't need your help.

One day,

I will take revenge for my father.

and fight her face to face.

Goodbye.

Wait.

Susu.

All these years,

you've been in Yin-Yang Clan

with Wei Xiao?

That's right.

How is it?

Yin-Yang Clan

is recognized as the biggest evil cult in the world.

You shouldn't be with them.

I've told you.

He's

my savior.

Tell me.

Why did Boye Jingxing

become a woman?

She is a woman

from the beginning.

Will you really marry me?

Yes, a right and legal marriage.

You mean it?

A word from a man of honor

cannot be withdrawn.

Say it again.

I love Jin Yuanqiu.

I want to marry Jin Yuanqiu.

With eight palanquins.

In a fair manner.

What is it?

Why are you crying?

You must have been touched by my love.

Isn't it?

I have something to tell you.

Then you can decide whether you want to marry me or not.

Is it that serious?

Yes.

Three months ago,

I went out to buy some workboxes.

But I was taken away by a robber.

Do you know him?

Was he Chuan Huadie?

No.

A heroine saved me.

But I lost my virginity anyway.

Afraid that people would know

I've lost my chastity ,

my parents rushed to marry me off.

You're a victim too.

It's not your fault.

On the day I was to marry into the Jiang family,

someone made a mess

and I couldn't get out of the room.

I know ... about it.

I know.

Tell me.

Why is my life so hard?

"When the hills are all flat,

the rivers all dry.

When it thunders in winter.

When it snows in summer.

When heaven and earth mingle.

Not till then will I part from you. "

Don't fool me.

The phrase you recite is from the Eastern Han.

My father taught it to me when I was a child.

But I remember

this seems to be a girl's confession to her husband.

It feels strange

when it from your mouth.

So it was written by a girl?

I even went to Ku Lianzi to learn it.

I love the way you are, such silly.

Jin Yuanqiu.

What?

Let go of me.

By the way,

I have something to tell you.

What is it?

Just tell me.

It's that

the reason I came to the Jiang family

is because my savior,

Susu, asked me to come here.

What did she ask you to do?

She told me to

investigate Jing's identity

and tell her about Jing's every move.

So you're a spy?

I'm not.

I didn't know what she was up to.

It's just that she's the one who saved my life.

I couldn't help it.

So you told her everything

about my idol?

Yes.

Oh, no.

Her identity has been exposed.

I found her.

Where is she?

At the Amberverde Mansion.

But

I'm no match for her.

Help me tonight.

Let's kill her together.

Finally we found her.

It's been 11 years.

Finally, you've found your father's enemy.

I must kill her with my own hands

for my father's sake.

Did she find you?

I don't think so.

That's good.

You should rest for a few days.

When the time is right,

we can do it.

Rest for a few days?

I've been looking for her for 11 years.

I can't let her get away again.

Amberverde Mansion is not a place

you can enter freely.

Besides,

she can't run away anymore.

In a few days,

I'll bring her head to you with my own hands.

No way.

Tonight,

I must kill her with my own hands.

Did you hear what I just said?

It's like throwing ourselve s into a trap

if we go to Amberverde Mansion now.

I'll lure her out in a few days.

I'll let her body expose in the wilderness.

She will die painfully.

And

you don't have to do it yourself.

I have my own plan.

I think you are afraid.

But I'm not.

I have only one goal in these 11 years.

That is to kill my enemy

to avenge my father's death.

Do you know who you're talking to?

Thank you for saving me.

All these years

I've repaid you well enough.

How's it going?

Is my baby okay?

It's gentle, but not too loud.

It's flowing

and smooth.

What do you mean?

Say something we can understand.

Take a few more days off.

You're fine for now.

I haven't done my busines.

Of course I can't die.

Valley Master.

I have to remind you.

For a normal person,

your condition is fine.

And you don't need to stay in bed to recuperate.

But within 60 days,

you can no longer use your internal force.

Otherwise,

all the previous treatment will be in vain.

Is it that serious?

I still have to pass

power to Jiang Qingliu.

No w ay.

You have to stop it.

It's been raining for days.

We're running low on herbs.

Chuan Huadie.

Go get some medicine from Miss Shang Xin.

All right.

You...

can you read?

Of course I can.

Here.

The prescription.

Okay, I'm going.

Valley Master.

I saw someone today.

Who?

Susu.

Susu?

Sorry.

Is that funny?

That's enough.

Brother Jiang.

Old Master Jiang.

Are you sure you're not joking ?

The beautiful

young lady Jing in your family

is Boye Jingxing?

You won't feel so funny anymore

until Boye Jingxing,

our Jing,

cuts out your head.

I would like to see

will she kill me

or will I kill her.

Old Master Jiang.

When will we do it?

Now.

Whoever kills Boye Jingxing

will be the rightful Master of Wulin.

Right?

Old Master Jiang?

That's right.

Good.

Let's go.

Hurry up.

Hurry.

They're coming.

They're going to kill you.

What's going on?

Calm down.

Who wants to kill me?

I'm so scared.

Baili Tianxiong.

And some others I don't know.

Why do they want to kill me?

Besides,

my husband is here.

Are they a match?

Jia ng Yintian told them

you are Boye Jingxing.

It seems that Jiang Yintian's letter

was a trick.

That's right.

Jiang Yintian asked them to come here.

Your grandfather wants to kill me.

Are you helping your grandfather or me?

Now is not the time to do it.

Take cover.

Don't go through the front door.

What are you doing?

How dare you kill people in broad daylight?

Where is she?

Murderer.

Tell me.

Where's Jing?

We really don't know.

You guys.

Tie up these two accomplices.

Yes, master.

Don't touch me.

I'm hurt. Be gentle.

They're gone?

I went in to get them.

I didn't see anyone.

Sect leader Baili.

Didn 't you want to capture Boye Jingxing

so that you can become Master of Wulin?

Why did you let them get away?

Why did I let them go?

I risked my life to go in and catch her.

I didn't even see a sign of her.

I asked Master Fang Jue to go with you.

You're afraid that the master will steal your credit.

Now what?

She's gone.

I think you won't be able to

be Master of Wulin.

Old Master.

I 've caught the t wo accomplices.

What should we do with them?

Lock them up first.

Hurry up.

Stop nagging.

Why are you arresting me?

Hurry up. Hurry up.

Cut the crap. Hurry up.

Get in.

Why are you arresting me?

Cut the crap.

What did I do?

Why are you holding me?

Can you be reasonable?

Why?

Stay there.

Why are you here?

What's going on here?

It's because of your idol.

Your idol is in trouble.

You should be arrested .

What are they arresting us for?

And that old man Baili,

he gave me a kick.

My ass hurts.

Do you know where my idol is?

Can't you see we're tied up?

Why don't you help us untie?

Stop the nonsense.

They won't come here.

It's true

it's a hidden but beautiful place

where there is a cold Crystal Palace.

This place

is really nice.

Why are you so poetic today?

I don't know why.

It's strange.

The situation is urgent.

But...

once I get out of home,

I feel relieved.

You're really lucky to

find such a good place.

By the way,

how did you find this place?

I came here to rest with Chuan Huadie.

I've been here twice.

It's nice.

You're not sleeping again, are you?

Pig.

Go sleep over there.

If I may say so,

we can hang up the three subordinates of Boye Jingxing

and beat them really hard.

I don't believe

I won't be able to make them confess.

Master Baili.

You're a martial arts master.

You can only

think of fighting in case of trouble.

What do you mean?

You're educated.

You're virtuous.

How could you let your precious grandson

marry a demon who is half male and half female?

You...

You say, what should we do?

I think

it's useless even if they are killed.

Why don't we keep them

and Boye Jingxing will come to save them?

We just have to

wait for her to fall into our trap.
