Lost Promise

Episode 19

If one of us doesn't succeed in solving the poison

before the incense burns out,

he can only wait to die.

What?

You don 't dare to compete?

I've been practicing medicine for decades, and I've always tried medicine myself.

So

I'm already invulnerable to all kinds of poison.

If you want to compare like this,

I'm afraid

it's like I'm bullying you.

The competition hasn't even started yet.

It's a little too early

for you to say that.

Or are you afraid

that your name of the world's top poisoner

will be ruined in Ambrosia Valley.

All right.

Since you insist on it,

I'll let you go first

for the sake of fairness.

They say that the Ambrosia Valley

is dedicated to saving the world.

I never thought

you could produce such poison.

Kindness and benevolence are important.

But if you want to stand in Wulin.

You must first learn to protect yourself.

I hope that you can keep your promise

after I dri nk this poison.

You have to wait until you find out the antidote.

It seems we already have a result.

This is the poison of Velvet Kill.

Are you looking for death?

You're not trying to scare me again, are you?

You dare to assassinate me?

Guards.

Take this assassin down!

Yes, sir.

Stop it.

If I really wanted to assassinate you,

you'd have been like the wall behind you.

You think I see through your lies

and you're trying to kill me.

Lord Nangong is right.

This gold needle is used to kill people.

When I was in Chillecho Valley

looking for the fire thistle,

I almost died there.

All the previous cases related to Yin-Yang Clan

were conducted with the golden needles.

If the fire thistle was not hidden by Yin-Yang Clan,

who would do such things

to lay the concealed weapon

with these golden needles?

When

Master Jiang was entrusted by me to investigate

the case of the fire thistles,

I already suspected it was the work of Yin-Yang Clan.

But there was no evidence.

Now it seems now

Old Master Jiang and Young Master Jiang

have been wronged.

So, that's all? Magistrate Zhu?

I want Lord Nangong

bow to us three times

and say sorry to my family.

You're really good at making a fuss.

Do you think I'm as stupid as Magistrate Zhu?

With just a few words,

you thought you could clear of charge for Amberverde Mansion?

Let me tell you.

It's not so easy to clear

the charge of possessing fire thistles.

Even if it's Yin-Yang Clan

who hid the fire thistles,

the fire thistles

was discovered from Amberverde Mansion.

It can only prove Amberverde Mansion

is in collusion with the Yin-Yang Clan.

Your Highness.

The Yin-Yang Clan and Amberverde Mansion

have always been at odds with each other.

You're even more unreasonable than me.

No need to say anything else.

Whether Yin-Yang Clan is involved in this,

I'll make my own judgment later.

But today

the case of Amberverde Mansion hiding fire thistles

has been settled.

According to the law of this dynasty,

guards,

take these two people down

to be executed.

Who dares?

Since you are unreasonable,

don't blame me.

Stop them.

You want to stop me?

Come on and get me if you dare.

If we kill these officers,

we'd

really be imperial criminals.

Then you take care of this old bastard.

I'll distract the soldiers

You take the opportunity to escape.

Okay.

You want to escape?

Get my men for me.

We can't let these traitors

walk out of this court alive.

Yes, sir.

It's screwed .

Even if I had two wings today,

I wouldn't be able to fly out of here.

Don't worry.

How can I bear to

let you be an angel with broken wings?

You're really the best poisoner in the world .

What makes you think the world's most poisonous Velvet Kill

can undo my Heavenly Pill?

Since your Heavenly Pill

can help people to die sooner,

I might as well set a thief to catch a thief,

and combat poison with poison.

I could die without regret

after compete with such an opponent as you.

It's my turn.

I am the wife of Jiang Qingliu.

Sir, it's...

Since

there is no solid evidence to prove

that Amberverde Mansion is directly related to the Yin-Yang Clan,

even the Prince guaranteed that for you.

Jiang Yintian and his son can go back to Amberverde Mansion now.

I'll summon them again

until I find out the evidence.

Let's go, kid Jiang .

Let's go home.

Be careful with your baby.

My baby

is not that fragile.

That's right.

It's not that fragile.

Thank you, sir.

Well.

You didn't have to

wake me up now.

If I had been any later ,

you'd never get out.

What kind of poison is this?

All things in this world reinforce and neutralize each other.

As long as it's poison,

there must be a cure to it.

Only the demons of heart

have no cure at all .

You win.

I'm not as good as you.

Who let you in?

Didn't I tell you?

Don't let anyone

into this room at this hour.

I'm here to tell you

the person I sent to Amberverde Mansion

said

Jing seemed not to be

the one we are looking for.

It's that cunt again.

She almost ruined my plan today.

What else did your spy say?

She said

Jing was not a bad person.

She's not?

She's n ot? Then you are?

You think that you've killed so many people

in the name of revenge for your father

in all these years,

and you are innocent?

Go out on the street and say your name.

See if the five sects will let you go.

Who is this person, your spy?

She's

just a little girl I saved.

The girl you saved?

So she thinks you're a good person,

and you think you're a good person too?

Ask the people you 've killed

over the years,

whether they think you're a good person or not.

Do you think they should be killed?

I'll tell you.

They should all be killed.

Anyone who gets in the way of Yin-Yan's plan

should all be killed.

I did all these bad things for you

to avenge my father.

Don't mention anything about avenging your father.

I'm telling you, Fan Susu.

I can take revenge for your father.

But I don't just want to avenge your father.

I just want revenge.

Nothing else matters.

Mother, go practice sword with me.

Wei Xiao.

Only these two things matter in my life.

Revenge

and Fan'er.

Come on.

Let's d rink together.

Thanks to you, grandpa and I were able to

get out in time.

How's that?

You know how good I am now, right?

Shouldn't you

serve me well tonight?

But what's more,

how could the prince's message

be passed on so timely?

That's right.

I almost thought I was going to die.

Not to mention sending a message to the Prince,

I could even steal

a concubine of the Emperor's.

I am the best in flying after all.

I am the best .

You are the second best.

I think you look like a fool.

Take your food.

Well.

But

The Prince doesn't know us very well.

Why would he help us for no reason?

What exactly did you write in your letter?

With Master Jing's poor handwriting,

even if she wrote something,

the prince wouldn't recognize it, would he?

Actually, I didn't write a single word.

I just drew a picture for the Prince.

Make sure you give this to the Prince.

Don't worry, idol.

I'll do my best.

Go ahead.

Take a look.

This is the painting drawn by my idol herself.

My Master Jing.

You are really an excelle nt painter.

if one of two interdependent parties falls, the other is in danger.

You're a smart guy.

Lord Nangong has already put us on the same side

with the Prince.

So in fact, thought the Prince

didn't know us well,

he would be willing to help us.

That's one thing.

And the other is

the prince already knew that Lord Nangong

had connections with clans in Jianghu.

And he's already lost Hua Tingtao,

so if he wants to balance

the power between him and Lord Nangong.

He must want to ally with

Amberverde Mansion.

This is my idol.

Not only is she a good scholar but a good fighter.

Brave and resourceful.

This kind of person should only be found in heaven.

It's rare to see such a person on earth.

Stop kissing my ass.

I have something for you to do tomorrow.

Idol, just give me your order.

Even if I have to undergo the most severe trials,

I'll do it.

That's enough.

It's not that tough .

I just want you to keep an eye on Chillecho Valley.

No problem, idol.

Don't worry.

I promise to complete the ta sk.

But there is one thing.

No matter what happens,

you have to report it to me.

Don't do anything rash.

Okay.

Yingxue.

I haven't revenged him yet.

Amberverde Mansion is also in serious troubles.

I really don't know what kind

of difficulties lie ahead.

Whatever.

We will find ways to cope with anything that comes to us.

I'm still here to protect you.

Let's just get drunk today.

Chuan Huadie.

Make me another bowl of rouge dew.

Okay.

I'll make a toast to you, idol.

Okay.

Cheers.

Cheers.

Father.

You...

Didn't you say you were studying drugs here?

You don't understand.

Gold is the driving force behind my research.

The jewel is the source of my inspiration.

Where was I just counting?

Now that you interrupted me,

I have to count it again.

An important guest comes to visit.

What kind of guest do you need to personally introduce?

When I was in seclusion,

I'll charge an additional 1,000 taels of silver for all medical consultations.

So...

Including me?

I don't want to see him.

Tell him to leave.

Didn't we agree that we wouldn't see each other again?

Now that many years have passed,

you're not regretting it

and recollecting the old days, are you?

I don't have time for that.

I have something important to talk to you.

Don't fool me.

You dropped your gold.

Where did I drop it?

Where did I drop it?

Over there.

Master.

Get out.

Come out.

Come out.

Why don't you talk to me , your father?

Father.

What's this?

This is the rabbit...

the rabbit I made for Yingfeng.

He liked the rabbit I made for him.

You're such a treacherous bastard.

You want to conspire with outsiders to harm your father , don't you?

I'm telling you.

From today onwards,

don't ever mention his name

in front of me.

And don't ever go to Chillecho Valley with your mother.

You're a bad person.

You are a bad person.

You want to rebel?

Let go of me.

I know you have the blood of Chillecho Valley in you.

But you are also my son.

You can live if I let you.

You should die if I let you.

Wei Xiao!

Stop it.

Fan'er.

Fan'er.

Fan'er, a re you okay?

Wei Xiao, are you crazy?

Jiang Yintian, Baili Tianxiong killed their own sons.

Are you going to kill your own son too?

Not only this bastard,

if you dare to disobey me one day,

you'll end up the same way.

Mother.

You are a madman.

Let's go.

You want to ask me something?

It's alright.

But if you want a consult,

I'll charge you for consultation fee.

1,000 taels of silver.

Since we are acquaintances,

I'll give you a discount.

980 taels.

If you don't have it,

no deal.

A discount, right?

Well, I won't take advantage of you.

Good girl,

let me tell you.

what your father did when he was young...

Since we're old friends,

I'll give you a free clinic today.

What do you want to ask?

I promise

I'll tell you everything

that I know.

What's the reason for

unsettling body temperature of a rouge girl

during pregnancy?

You've been out of Jianghu affairs for years.

Why do you suddenly make an exception for a rouge girl?

A rouge girl is rarely seen in a hundred years.

And you made her.

So I wa nt to know it too.

Of course.

It's a masterpiece of my life.

Just answer my question.

When the rouge girl was made,

it was set that she would live for one year.

But if she gets pregnant,

her life span will change .

Her constitution will change too.

Maybe the original rouge pill

is not as effective as before.

Or maybe it's due to outside influences.

It seems that I was overly concerned.

Amberverde Mansion ran into such accidents recently.

It's natural

for her to have problems .

What's wrong with Amberverde Mansion?

Jiang Qingliu and Jiang Yintian

were arrested by the government

for possession of fire thistles.

It's such a big event.

You didn't get the news?

I haven't received the final payment from the Jiang family yet .

It's over, it's all gone.

Watch out.

How much did you drink?

Have a rest first.

Come on, stop drinking.

Kid.

When I first met you,

you were this tall.

Today, I'll teach you all my skills

of martial arts.

Pay attention.

Don't.

Don't. Don't.

This is the Tang Tri-color my fat her left me.

Don't. Don't.

This is the mirror my mother used.

Who's the thief?

How dare he steal from me?

Don't let me catch him

or I'll skin him

and tear his tendons out.

I know who this thief is.

Who is it?

Keep walking.

Go look in the mirror.

It's not...

Yes.

Who else but you

could make the house look like this?

I could do nothing to you.

How could you be such a bad drinker?

Nonsense.

I am definitely not a cheap drunk.

I'm telling you.

My arm

still hurt.

That's enough.

I'll make it up to you.

Wait, wait, wait.

It's so early in the morning.

It may not be a good idea.

What's wrong with that?

I can do whatever I want.

Turn around.

Close your eyes.

I will make up for you

by giving you more of my inner strength.

Mother.

Where is the end of the sea ?

It's far, far away.

What's that place?

It's the same as our place

where many people live together.

There are happy people

and also unhappy ones.

Madam, it's time.

Come, Fan'er.

Fan'er.

Wait for Mother there.

I'll come for you.

Mother.

I've helpe d you so much to build up your energy.

You don't even reward me.

Take her pulse later.

See what it is.

How did you get back together?

Just passing by.

Miss Shang Xin was worried about Master Jiang.

So she made the trip.

Are you okay?

Yes, I'm fine.

Of course he is.

What can be wrong

since I'm here?

It seems that I was overly concerned.

By the way, Miss Shang Xin.

Why haven't I seen you lately

to take grandmother's pulse?

I've been traveling for a while

and gained a lot of insight.

Let's drink together some day.

I'll tell you all the interesting stories on the way.

Since it's interesting,

why don' t you tell us so we can have fun together?

You'll never understand.

We're not the same kind of people.

Besides, I'm just a doctor,

not a storyteller.

By the way,

I have to take the old lady's pulse.

Excuse me.

Okay, I'll take you there.

It's time for me to take your pulse too.

Let's go, Valley Master.

You...

Take this herb to my idol.

She'll love it.

The fire thistles inside have already been r emoved.

Awesome.

There are more than a dozen boxes.

Tell the men to leave as soon as they're done.

This place looks eerie.

It's better not to stay long.

Come and take a look.

Boye Feifan?

When I was a child, I heard from a storyteller

that Boye Feifan

is an evil villain.

He killed many people.

I never thought

there was a tombstone here.

Such a villain doesn't deserve a tombstone.

It's just a childhood friend.

What's the big deal?

I'm Jiang Qingliu's martial arts instructor

plus his child's mother.

Actually, Miss Shang Xin

doesn't mean bad, right?

She doesn't mean bad?

Did I mean bad?

Usually,

you are always on my side.

Why do you support her today?

You…

I'm so anxious.

Chuan Huadie.

Master Jing, what are your orders?

How do you usually

flirt with girls?

Can you flirt with me too?

Master Jing.

Your life experience is a little too rich.

I can't handle it.

Why don't you talk to the young master?

Chuan Huadie.

Don't expect me to solve your acupuncture.

Is it true that people are easily inf luenced

by their company?

Back then, I was loved

by everyone.

How come now

no one loves me?

Idol.

I'm back.

Here are the flowers, for you.

Why is it this stinky bug again?

Take it away.

A stinky bug?

It doesn't stink.

Smell it again.

It's the stinky bug again. Get it off.

It doesn't stink.

I like this smell the most.

This is the smell of our valley.

I hate the smell of flowers and grasses.

Naughty.

You came back in a hurry.

Did you find anything?

Idol.

Guess who I saw

in Chillecho Valley?

What tricks are you trying to use

to stop me from reading today?

Miss Shang Xin.

I thought it was Jing .

Sit down.

I've just taken the old lady's pulse.

Her pulse is normal.

I thought you must have suffered a lot

in prison before.

And your internal strength was damaged.

So I came here to take your pulse too.

You' re

very considerate.

Here.

What's wrong?

Your pulse is stable.

You're recovering well.

That's good.

It's just

judging from your breath,

your internal strength seems to have recovered a lot.

May be it's because I've been

practicing a lot.

Then congratulations.

Come.

Have a cup of tea.

Finally, I found you.

Where did you get this?

My idol asked me to keep an eye on Chillecho Valley.

I thought this was very beautiful and wanted

to take it back to her.

I didn't expect

she sneezed like crazy when she smelled it.

I think it's a shame to throw it away.

She didn't even appreciate you being so nice to her?

If it were me…

You what?

Nothing.

What's the name of this one?

She said its name is

Stinky bug.

Stinky bug?

What kind of flower is called Stinky Bug?

Do you like it?

I…

I'll give it to you.

Thank you.

I like it very much.

I never thought you would like flowers and plants.

I like you.

She has left.

And your soul is gone with her?

Little flower.

Little flower.

Little Star.

Little butterfly.

I feel

the spring is coming.

Miss Shangxin.

Greetings, Old Master Jiang.

It's good to see you.

Our two families have been friends for a long time.

You don't look well.

Would you like me to check yo ur pulse?

I'm fine.

I just have a concerns.

Recently, the Amberverde Mansion has been in trouble.

People in Wulin all stay away from us.

And you are the only one

who still often come here.

You can be relieved.

Qingliu's internal strength has recovered a lot.

In a short time,

I'm sure he'll be able to restore the power of Amberverde Mansion.

You mean

Qingliu's internal strength has been restored?

Idol.

Where are you going?

Chillecho Valley.

Come on.

I'll give you a ride.

No need.

I want to go back alone.

I came here today

to say goodbye to you.

I guess this is the last time we'll see each other.

What do you mean?

Where are you going?

I listened to you before

to lurk at Amberverde Mansion to investigate Jing.

But I didn't find anything.

I think

you must took her for the wrong person.

No way.

Did Jing

bewitch you?

It has nothing to do with her.

It's because

I have someone I like.

He's very good to me.

And he even gave me a Stinky Bug.

I want to be with him.

I don't want to lie to him anym ore.

You...

you just said

Stinky Bug?

That's right.

That's it.

Who told you this is called Stinky Bug?

Lanshan Ke.

He said

Jing called it Stinky Bug.

It's really her.

It's been 11 years.

I finally found her.

Who the hell are you?

Come on.

Have a seat.

Remember.

Walk out of the gate of Chillecho Valley now.

Within six months,

no matter what you hear

and what you see,

don't ever come back.

Master.

It only takes three months

to Canglang Island

instead of half a year.

There are many people in the world.

Only you've practiced the Diurnal Heart Sutra.

You will definitely become a threat

for the five sects.

Not only the five sects.

So

you must be careful.

If they want it, practice on their own.

The five major sects are always bragging about

how powerful their kung fu is.

Like Ghostimage Skill

and Red Cedar Heart Technique.

Diurnal Heart Sutra

is a combination of the heart sutra

of the five sects.

So

it's far above

any one of them.

Not to mention that you have in your body

the only Diurnal Div ine Pearl in the world.

They are no match for you

to fight head-on.

But

an obvious enemy is easy to notice

while a sneaky sword is hard to defend.

But.

Jingxing.

You've been my disciple for 15 years.

Whether I'm your teacher or father,

after you leave,

maybe...

it'll take half a year before we can see each other again.

If you come back and

find that I'm on a trip to a remote place,

you must take care of

Susu for me

All right.

You should go now.

Go.
