As you all know, I mostlyexplore abandoned buildings,

towns, hospitals, schools, et cetera.

I'm gonna do somethinga little bit different.

So I've recently found outabout these two horror films.

"The Fear Footage."

- Now, why would anyoneor anything be out here

at three and four in themorning making sounds?

- About a cop and two men who disappear

after coming in contactwith a cursed VHS tape.

And the two that disappearedactually saw themselves

on this VHS tape.

Spooky stuff.

This intrigued me for two reasons.

First reason, this allsupposedly took place

in a town called Darkbluff, Maryland.

Now, you all know I live in Maryland,

but I've honestly neverheard of this town,

and I couldn't any informationat all on this place,

which intrigued me even more.

Second reason, I can't tellif this is real or not.

We're gonna be taking a tripdown to Darkbluff, Maryland

to see if "The Fear Footage" is real.

So, it's 11:16 A.M.

It's a beautiful 73 degreesand we have 113 miles to go.

Let's do this.

So, I wanna show you guys something.

Now, it's only September19th, but in my book,

it's never too early forHalloween decorations,

and check this out.

My neighbor down thestreet has already set up.

Look at that skeleton, guys.

It's gotta be about, like, 15 foot tall.

Assuming these movies are real,

I wanna know why thesedisappearances aren't more known,

considering how bizarre it all is.

And assuming these movies are fake,

I wanna know what the people of Darkbluff

think about all this,

or if they even knowanything about these movies.

So I'll either be investigatingtwo of the weirdest

missing person cases I've ever heard of,

or visiting the location

where two low-budgethorror movies were filmed.

I haven't seen anything for like 20 miles.

I just filled my truck up.

We're about 10 miles awayfrom our destination.

So, we're just entering Darkbluff,

and so far, that part aboutthe town getting foggy?

It's 100% true.

This is crazy.

The whole atmosphere changed.

It's beautiful,

but it's still-

Guys, the fog has moved out,

and I just came acrossthis sign right here.

This is freakin' awesome.

Did not see this ineither of these movies,

so if this footage is real,

then I can understand thesign not being on there.

You know, real footage.

Maybe they just didn't film the sign,

but if you're simply makinga movie based on this town,

why wouldn't you tryto get a shot of this?

The house I lived in as a kid,

so, my room was in thebasement and when you came out,

there was a storage room to the right,

and a bathroom next tomy room to the left,

and at the end of the hall tothe left, there was a closet.

And one night, I gotup to use the bathroom,

and there was a woman in a black dress

with dirty white socks, standingin the closet, laughing.

Nobody believed me.

I was like 12 or 13, maybe?

It was absolutely terrifying.

But it also kind of intrigued me.

That's why when I heard aboutthese "Fear Footage" movies,

I instantly had to go look into this.

Guys, so we came across ourfirst house here in Darkbluff.

These are the placesI'm usually exploring.

Let's take a look around.Still got mail in the mailbox.

And this is 12-22 Brown Road.

This is the first thing I've seen

since that abandoned house.

And it's freakin' tombs.

Tombs that they put caskets in,

just here on the side of the road.

Which is actually kinda creepy.

This is something I've definitelynever came across before.

So, there's still no signsof life here in Darkbluff,

but I had to pull overand get a shot of this.

Look at this landscape.

This is freaking gorgeous.

I gotta get my other lens andtake some pictures of this.

It looks like there mightbe a house over there.

And we have discoveredour first livable house,

here in Darkbluff, explorers.

And it doesn't look like anyone is home,

but we're gonna knock(interference crackles)

and see if we couldtalk to somebody anyway.
