[EP 47]

I really regret giving you the military power.

What should we do now?

I didn't expect Zhang Zhiyan would join in the fun.

No, as far as I know, Zhang Zhiyan is Feibai's close friend.

He is here to help Feibai.

Look.

Zhang Zhiyan is going to defeat Pan's army.

They are trying to flee.

Feibai is destined to win.

After he wins, he will tell father that we didn't offer help.

Father will punish us.

Don't worry.

It's impossible.

Look.

Pan Zhengyue is going to flee towards south.

If I guess right, he will retreat to

Ruzhou, Dongting's stronghold on the frontier.

Only one path can lead there.

We should go now.

We should kill Pan Zhengyue ahead of Yuan Feibai and Zhang Zhiyan.

Then we can take the major merit.

Go.

Go.

Go.

Go.

My good sister invited Zhang Zhiyan here.

Sister.

You have so many friends.

Yuan Feibai is destined to win.

What should we do?

Maybe I should go to help them.

At least we won't be so passive in front of the lord.

This is my first time to lead Fengde army on the battlefield.

I must win.

I will have it my way.

Fengding, follow me.

Go.

On your knees...

On your knees.

Song Minglei blocked my retreat.

Ruined my armored army.

I will make him pay.

General.

We can't go back to Dongting now.

What should we do now?

We will slash a way out as long as I breathe.

Here is my order.

Let's go now.

Intelligence.

Pan Zhengyue fled away under cover.

Pan Zhengyue, the bloody fox,

sacrificed so many people to help him escape.

But we almost slaughtered all his armored army.

Linde army also did a great job.

Kill all Pan's army.

Go.

Go.

Go.

General Pan.

You can't go anywhere.

It's you again.

Pan Zhengyue.

If you surrender now,

you can survive.

Otherwise, you can't leave here today.

You are lucky to defeat me once in the troubled times.

What qualifications do you have to say your victory is providential?

I believe people know which is the righteous army.

Why bother desperate struggles?

My father appreciates your valiancy.

If you work for us, we won't shortchange you.

Where there is royal power or desire, there will be endless wars.

I remember your name.

Yu Feiyan.

Old friend, let's fight on the battlefield for the last time.

Kill.

Charge...

You think I will let you go?

It's over, all is over.

Maybe in the turbulent times,

no one tell right from wrong.

But my biggest wish is to end the turbulence with my hands.

I don't care how long it will take, or how much it costs.

Remember what you said today.

My good son.

Father.

I Pan Zhengyue have spent most of my life on the battlefield.

I won't die, kneeling.

Let alone be a traitor.

Father.

Go...

Go...

Father.

I am sorry.

I didn't expect all the defenders along Jiangbei

couldn't withstand a single blow

after they know Pan Zhengyue's defeat.

They occupied 5 fortresses in one afternoon.

They open the direct way from Jiangbei to Dongting's capital.

Ma'am.

No wonder you say Song Minglei is stupid.

It's much better than killing Pan Zhengyue.

I have said, I will have it my way.

Stop.

Go.

Go.

Stop.

What are you waiting for?

The fortress gate is closed.

We can't act impulsively until we know what's going on in there.

Go.

Second brother.

Sister.

I should have seen this coming.

Only you move more quickly than others.

I will give the seal of Jingguan to Feibai only.

No matter what, I will stay by your side.

Let me be your most trustworthy support.

May I?

I love you for so many years.

But you are still so distant from me.

Why do you choose Yuan Feibai?

Five of us become sworn brothers and sisters

in order to survive in Yuan family.

Now we become members of Yuan family or its friends.

But we still have to fight against each other.

If we had seen this coming,

I don't know what we would have chosen at that time.

I will still be happy to meet you.

I never changed my mind.

So awesome.

But you just want to make some merits for Yuan Feibai.

What you want to do is help Yuan Feibai.

But I want Jingguan.

Everyone, listen.

Second brother.

You really want to do this?

Mr. Zhang's soldiers are back and they are on standby now.

I asked Mrs. Zhang to allow me to see you here.

It's up to you now.

Mrs. Zhang.

Thank you.

It's my obligations to save my soldiers' lives.

You like Jingguan so much.

I won't fight against you for it.

In this world, some roads are for one person.

Withdraw.

Go.

Go.

Empty city strategy, so great.

Xiaowuyi.

Our Xiaowuyi.

Father.

Father.

I am sorry.

I am back now.

Father.

Great.

I could see you before I die.

What are you talking about?

We haven't seen each other for ten years.

You said, you would make up for vacancy?

Father.

You will live for a hundred years.

Silly boy.

No one can live to a hundred years in the world, ok?

I am going to see your mother.

I am very happy.

Before I die, promise me one thing.

Otherwise I'll die with regret.

Father, you can say it.

I will do whatever I can.

Rong.

I need you to swear on your knees.

Before the war in Central Plains ends, we can't get involved.

You are from royal family.

You should know national interests

is more important than personal emotions.

I...

Rong.

I know what you are waiting for.

But if you don't swear before I die, I can't rest in peace.

Rong.

Father.

Rong.

You disappointed me too much.

The God's above.

I swear I will not get my country implicated in other countries' dispute.

Otherwise, I will be destined to be alone.

And I will go to hell after I die.

Remember this.

Now I can leave the country to you.

Father.

Father.

Father.

Father.

Father.

Father.

I will keep the promise.

Your Majesty, it's an urgent intelligence.

Yuan Feibai killed Pan Zhengyue with his army.

He captured Jingguan.

Now half of Dongting's territory belongs to Xiting.

Brilliant.

Yuan Feibai is so brave and astute.

Prince Xuan has been supporting Yuande army these years.

Prince Xuan should take some credit for the victory.

Crown prince did a lot to improve people's livelihood.

Prince Xuan made some contributions in defense.

Usually, we need a diligent emperor at the prosperous age.

But in the troubled times, we need a tough leader.

Your Majesty.

I want to say.

Prince Xuan is very enterprising.

But you still can't change the crown prince.

It's my expedient measure to name Benfu

as the crown prince to stabilize the world.

Prince Xuan was young at that time.

Now the political situation is gradually stable.

Yuan Qingjiang is luring around covetously.

It's the time to find my real heir.

I need your suggestion.

Instead of your expostulation.

Yuan Feiqing assists the crown prince.

Yuan Feibai assists prince Xuan.

Yuan's two sons are very excellent.

Lord Jin didn't name his heir either.

I trust his insight.

You can elect the right crown prince after he finds his heir.

Fair enough.

I need to see Yuan Qingjiang mow.

Yes.

What?

Pan Zhengyue died?

All the fortresses along Jiangbei fall in Qingjiang's hands.

You...

What should I do?

What should I do?

Premier...

So half of my territory will go to Xitng?

I still have elite troops.

I will make Yuan Qingjiang pay.

You just rewarded them according to their merits.

But you look unhappy.

The enemies are not fully disintegrated.

But they are in disarray.

Song Minglei and Feiqing's Linde destroyed

Pan Zhengyue's 5000 armored soldiers.

ButSong Minglei takes military merit for ignoring Feibai's trouble.

And Jinxiu's Fengde army.

I reward her the most.

10,000 silvers and 8000 soldiers.

But she took the credit when Feibai and Feiqing

were in the tense fight against Pan Zhengyue.

Instead of offering reinforcements.

She went to capture the fortresses behind Jingguan.

Yes.

Only young master Feibai wants to join forces with Linde and Fengde.

And general Yu.

He protects Feibai alone.

Feiqing.

I shouldn't be suspicious of him.

And Feibai.

He didn't tell me anything but I know his grievances.

He is so benevolent and generous.

No wonder I am going to name him as my heir.

But he will become weak because of his benevolence.

It's been four years ago.

He is still infactuated with Rosemallow.

He refused my reward.

He asked me for her antidote.

So confused.

Sister.

Young master.

What happened to her?

Such a potent poison.

The poison has attacked Rosemallow for 4 years.

Poison invades her internal organs.

She is extremely weak.

These days she is on the go.

And she is emotional.

So the poison works again.

The antidote is the only solution.

Wait here.

I'll go to ask for the antidote.

Sister.

I took the most credit today.

Finally I prove myself in front the lord.

Lord will love Feiliu more.

Then Feiliu will have more opportunities.

But the lord tells Swallow army to join Yuande army.

He also speaks highly of Yuan Feibai's credit.

I think he is paving the way for his heir.

If the lord knows Yuan Feibai left the camp without notice and

he lost Yuande's 5,000 soldiers,

he will take the impulsive man as his hair?

Just leak the lead out.

So the Purple Garden will know this.

Yes.

My sister, is she awake?

Young master.

Young master, you are here to see the lord?

Is he inside?

The emperor summoned him, so he left after the meeting.

Thank you.

Ma'am Jin is so valiant.

Lord, you are so insightful.

Yes.

I didn't expect she would be so brave.

My family have many talents.

But...

It's not good if the women are too valiant and decisive.

I hope it's just my prejudice.

Rosemallow.

I'm sorry.

Young master.

I have my ancestor's secret recipe.

Maybe it will work for Rosemallow.

But the medicine is too risky.

I can't take the risk.

Doctor.

I can't lose her.

I beg you.

It's like cures like. So it's fatal.

If she drinks it and can't wake up,

the two poisons will work together.

And she won't wake up anymore.

I believe God will bless Rosemallow.

I think we can have a try.

Young master.

Ok, I will prescribe the medicine now.

Long live the emperor.

Rise.

Thank you, your Majesty.

Brother.

Now Linde has more 3000 soldiers.

I will make a new drill scenario.

First...

Guangqian.

You don't need to bother the new soldiers.

We will share the same future.

I never forget this promise.

But after your confidante Zhang Demao takes control of Westwing,

you do whatever you want with Linde.

Till you destroy Yuande army with Pan Zhengyue.

Then I realize you are different from what I hope.

All I did is help you be the rightful successor.

But I don't know from when I can see your cruelty.

Your eyes are full of sadness and sorrow.

So you are afraid one day we will become enemies?

Right?

Brother. Guangqian.

Time to eat.

I prepared your favorite braised chicken with wild ginseng.

Let's go -Ok.

She has taken the medicine for three hours.

So the medicine is useless for her.

Young master.

We failed.

As long as she has a pulse.

As long as her heart beats.

We didn't lose.

We still have a way, right?

Right?

Right?

I'm sorry.

I failed you.

I am so sorry.

Rosemallow.

Rosemallow, wake up.

You are still breathing.

So you still can hear.

I play music for you, ok?

Listen.

Dou Yinghua suffered a great loss.

Our next step is to invade Biancheng directly.

When I have the world, I won't shorchange you.

Your Majesty, don't worry.

My wish is to capture Dongting and bring peace to people.

I know you don't want any rewards,

But your sons are enterprising. I will reward one of them.

You will decide who can get the reward.

I have named the crown prince for four years.

You should name your heir.

Please name your heir soon.

I will give him a grand ceremony.

Thank you, your Majesty.

I get it.

You can go back now.

I need more information.

Yes.

Mother.

So the emperor wants to decide who's better for crown prince

after Yuan Qingjiang names the heir.

You have Yuan Feiqing's assistance.

Your brother has Yuan Feibai's assistance.

I have been the crown prince for four years.

What is father playing at?

Fu.

You do not know it.

The emperor has been trying to change you.

But I didn't expect it would be so fast.

And he hides this from me.

Mother.

I don't want to abdicate now.

I don't want to lose to my brother.

The emperor is old.

Fu.

It's time for you to ascend the throne.

Mother, you...

You want to rebel?

Even Yuan Qingjiang is afraid of us.

Rebel?

I won't be so stupid.

Young master, bad news.

Young master.

Now the whole Purple Garden knows

Yuande's 5,000 soldiers died because

you left the camp without notice for Rosemallow.

The lord is coming back.

What should we do now?

I made the mistake.

I will answer for it.

If Rosemallow wakes up,

I will plead guilty.

If she can't wake up, I will kill myself as punishment.

Please get well.

Suhui.

Rosemallow.

You really wake up?

Young master.

Rosemallow, she wakes up.

Rosemallow.

Young master hasn't slept for three days.

If you still don't wake up, he can't hold it anymore.

I'll tell uncle Han.

Feibai.

Rosemallow.

Great.

You wake up now.

Your hands.

I knew it.

You won't die.

I am sure, you won't leave me here alone.

I am right?

Right?

It's ok now.

I am here.

Your majesty still didn't recover from the cold.

So I made the soup for you.

Drink while it's warm.

You are so considerate.

Yuan Feibai played the music for sister for three days.

But it's great that my sister wakes up.

You are worried about her, why not go to see her?

Don't torture yourself like this.

Because indifference will make me feel better.

She is my enemy.

So it's obvious that the emperor wants to abolish the crown prince.

Your two sons both have great military merits.

I know it's hard to make the choice.

Lord, you should think it over.

I have the plan to name the heir.

You all know.

In my heart, only Feibai is the option.

But after I come back this time,

I know Yuande lost 5,000 soldiers because

Feibai left the camp without notice for Rosemallow.

It's circulated in Purple Garden.

There must be a catch.

Yes.

Yuan Feibai won't be so irresponsible.

Whatever.

I made him suffer over the past three years.

He is so benevolent just like his mother.

The tattletale wants to ruin Feibai's reputation.

I even think Yuande army lost 5,000 soldiers because of him.

Leak the message that I will name my heir out.

I want to know who is so restless.

We must find him out.

We need to end the trouble for Feibai.

Yes.

Father loves Yuan Feibai most.

He did a good job in Jingguan.

Father wants to name his heir now.

It's such an outrageous partiality.

Husband.

For brother, we have to do something.

Father is deliberative.

But he wants to name his heir at this moment.

I'm afraid he has other purposes.

In my opinion, the best policy is to wait and see.

Lord.

You have seen me and Feiliu for days.

Feiliu wants to hear your story on the battlefield.

I just came back from Dongdu.

I am busy.

Another day.

There are so many books out there.

Every minute matters.

Husband.

Come back to my tower with me.

It's urgent now.

I must finish the military book overnight.

Xiu.

I am sorry.
