[Ep 39]

I make him suffer all these years.

When he suffered for me in the dungeon, I could do nothing for him.

He was in front of me.

But I couldn't recognize him.

I turned him away again after I recognized him.

He refused, but I still let him go to the frontline.

Now he had the plague.

What did I do for him on earth?

Lady, you don't need to blame yourself.

He will keep everything you did for him in mind.

And he did everything for you voluntarily.

Do you know how I hated him?

Because he had an affair with my sister.

I swore.

I would hate him forever.

But he saved me recklessly many times.

He could marry the princess and be the member of royal family.

But he rejected the princess for lady Huaxi who ruined his reputation.

I don't deserve it.

Don't say like that.

The god of destiny makes fools of the people.

It's all about the fate.

Yes.

It's all about the fate.

Now I am stuck here.

I am going to die here.

What I regret most is I didn't elope with him recklessly.

If I could survive,

I want to tell him,

I don't care about his past with Jinxiu.

I don't care his father's poison.

I just want to be with him.

Mr. Snow is the cleanest man I have ever seen.

I want to ask.

He tortures himself like this because he doesn't want to see me?

No.

Feibai.

It's you...

How did you find me?

I came to the oasis.

As I know, you headed for Gongyue.

So I came.

But I saw Ming Fengqing hijacked you halfway.

So I am here.

How did you make it?

Do you remember Hua Butterfly? I need to thank her.

We won't be separated again, ok?

I promise you.

Look.

Do you like it?

Silly girl.

Go over there.

Go.

Go.

I just don't understand why Yao Biying

is connected with family Ming.

Yao Biying?

I saw Yao Biying's tattoo.

Exactly the same as family Ming's logo.

Who is there? Come out.

Sister.

Why are you here?

Don't call me sister.

You are not my sister.

Why do you say like that?

Xiangqin, go back and close the gate.

Yes.

Fengding.

We haven't seen each other for years.

Why are you her dog?

We grow up together.

We can have a nice talk.

Fengding.

Sister.

Why the name-calling when you open your mouth?

What have you experienced over the years?

You are so temperamental.

Or you pretended to be weak

so Rosemallow could serve you?

You need to ask your own conscience.

What did you do to me?

You harmed yourself.

You were so arrogant because of Yuan Feiyan's indulgence.

You even overestimated yourself to take Song Minglei from her.

She scapegoated you with the jade pendant.

Someone else would scapegoat you even without me.

You couldn't escape it.

So you have no qualms of conscience to scapegoate me?

I never did anything wrong to you.

But you scapegoated me.

Do you know?

I was punished severely because of you.

Now I have a sickly child.

The law of jungle is universal.

You should thank me.

If lady Feiyan hadn't thrown you to

Yubei tower because of jade pendant,

how could you become the princess of Gongyue?

Yes.

I am the princess of Gongyue.

This is my territory.

Why are you here?

Please make way, princess.

Go.

Go.

Chase them.

Chase them. -Come back.

Stop.

Come back.

The carefree palace is a maze full of traps.

Maybe the heart of this earth is hiding in some corners.

We should go to the depth.

Maybe we can find out some treasure and make a large fortune.

So silly.

Maybe we will die before we could find the treasure.

I'm sorry for what I did to Biying.

But I didn't endanger her life.

Today you also saw it, she wanted to kill us.

I am not as cruel as Biying.

Biying grows up with us after all.

You are Xiaowuyi known to the Purple Garden.

Why it becomes like this now?

After my sister died,

eldest brother was driven into a corner.

Xiaowuyi.

No longer exists.

Mother.

Where have you been?

I walked around.

And went to see my green garden.

Really?

But I see no record of it.

Maybe the guards forgot to record it.

Biying.

You know where you went very well.

I just want to remind you.

You are Feijue's wife, the princess of Gongyue.

I need to take Muyin away for some days.

Yes.

Are you tired?

I didn't expect the carefree palace would be a maze.

Feibai.

Will we die here?

Don't worry.

You have me, and I will protect you till my last breath.

Go over there.

Go.

Ma'am Jin comes.

Your Majesty.

Is there anything I can do for you?

I am here for the state affairs and your family affair.

Do you know a evil force comes from family Ming of Central Plains?

Family Ming?

They have stayed in Central Plains for many years

and caused troubles for my family.

Three years ago, they moved the stronghold to Gongyue.

And they grow bigger here.

I don't know why it's related to my family affair?

Your Majesty.

Your daughter-in-law,

princess Yao Biying is from family Ming.

I am here to help you.

How dare you slander our princess?

Your Majesty.

She is a vicious woman.

Don't trust her.

Princess did a lot to Gongyue.

People all love her.

You will be punished severely if you have no evidence.

Yesterday I found the entrance of family Ming's stronghold in the desert.

And I found the sign of passionflower on the stone gate.

And I saw princess come out from inside.

And she told her men to kill me.

I would have died if I knew nothing about kungfu.

I have evidence.

This is the logo of passionflower.

Your Majesty.

Today I went back and I saw the entrance was blown up.

Family Ming is so cautious.

How can you be sure that our princess

is from family Ming with your logo?

Yao Biying and I grow up together.

I saw the same logo on her.

And I saw the same logo in family Yuan's stronghold.

Yao Biying is linked with family Ming.

Your Majesty.

Please think carefully.

If you have seen her passionflower.

I can swear to you, I am telling you the truth.

Otherwise you can punish me whatever you like.

Call the princess here.

Did you find anything?

No.

Let me help you.

Rosemallow.

Quick... Fire.

What is this?

It's family Yuan's symbol.

A symbol carved on the stone wall of the maze.

My father taught me how to find way out in maze in childhood.

This is the first thing I learned.

So strange.

Why Yuan's code exists in carefree palace?

The carefree palace exists here for a thousand years.

Over there.

Go.

I have had this tattoo since childhood.

My parents died.

I don't know why I have the tattoo.

There are so many similar things over here.

Even if I have the same tattoo, it can't explain anything.

Your Majesty.

Princess planted trees to improve our environment.

All the people admire her.

I don't believe she would do harm to Gongyue.

Mr. Guo.

As the first warrior, you shoud be impartial.

It's unfair.

Hua Jinxiu.

Why do you give me harsh words and looks, Mr. Guo?

It's about national affair.

I am telling the truth.

Your Majesty.

I show respect to the princess.

I have no partiality to her.

I know I have no strong evidence.

But these years princess and prince love each other.

They stay together almost every day.

Prince knows this best.

I think we should invite prince here.

He can bear witness for me and princess.

So what if he bears witness?

Well, now people will gossip about this.

Rumors will not end even if we have someone to bear witness.

Everyone will gossip behind my back.

I should die to prove my innocence.

Sister.

Why do you kill yourself?

Ask yourself.

You didn't walk out of family Ming's stronghold that day?

If I have no hard evidence, why do I tell the queen now?

Biying.

You do have a passionflower tattoo on you.

I saw it before.

It proves princess is linked with family Ming.

Imprison her here.

Execute her in three days at 18:00.

No one can see her.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty, please reconsider.

My decision is final.

That's all for today.

Your Majesty.

The damn queen wants to execute Biying?

Yes.

Biying is imprisoned in the hall.

It's well guarded.

She will be executed in three days.

Ma'am.

Your Majesty.

Biying is popular among people.

You execute her with insufficient evidence.

It's so irrational.

Who said I was going to execute her?

Biying has a good reputation.

And she is doing fine with Feijue.

Actually I don't want to question her.

But I know a mysterious force is luring around the palace.

And it's family Ming.

This is about the safety of the whole country.

Ma'am Jin doesn't seem to be a liar.

I blow up the affair.

Let the whole country and family Ming know this.

You tell the world that you will execute Yao Biying.

So family Ming's men will come here.

If it's not true, you will set Yao Biying free.

If it's true, you will...

That's exactly what I mean.

You are so thoughtful.

But I believe Yao Biying.

I hope you, Feijue and me don't see her wrong.

Ma'am, is it foolproof?

What if they don't come to rescue Yao Biying?

No.

Song Minglei loves her sisters very much.

He will not abandon Yao Biying.

Biying.

No one can harm you.

Send a letter to Yuan Feijue.

Only he can save Biying.

Yes.

Found one here.

Let's find more.

This is a dead end.

We have no way.

Keep looking.

It's not like a chessboard or a switch.

What is it?

It might open a stone gate.

Behind the stone gate is another world.

If it is built according to your family's dark palace,

you have a solution.

My father told me a pithy formula in childhood.

I don't know if it could help us.

Have a try.

My family's gear has only one chance to initiate.

If we succeed, we can go out alive.

But if we fail, it will trigger the arrows here.

We will die.

Let me have a try.

Go.

Your Majesty.

Today is the third day.

No one has approached Yao Biying so far.

It's not 18:00 yet.

We will see.

These years, the interval of sandstorms gets shorter and shorter.

If the princess hadn't planted the trees,

we would have been submerged by sandstorms.

To be fair.

I am very grateful for what Yao Biying did for our country.

But it's just a palliative.

Our greenbelt is still on decline.

Water loss and soil erosion.

What if we can find the heart of the earth.

All can take root and germinate seeds

I almost forgot, you don't like any rumors.

Who told you it's just a rumor?

It's...

Even more, I have been to the carefree palace.

Your Majesty.

Carefree palace really exists?

In the palace, a tree called tree goddess.

People all see it as a god.

It's the only towering tree.

Gongyue's palace is built around it.

Such a strong root.

I think this is right under the tree goddess.

Feibai.

Look.

It's Great yuan god's story with fairy Mu.

I saw it in the dark palace before.

No.

It's the carving stone in dark palace.

Why does my family's legend exist in carefree palace?

Go.

Every time sand blows, I will come here unknowingly.

I ask the tree goddess,

where the heart of the earth is.

Behind the wall is the exit.

But it's unfathomable in there.

I didn't expect the carefree palace really exists.

It's not a legend.

Since carefree palace is not a legend,

we can find the heart of the earth.

I sent several expeditions in the passage.

But none of them can live to tell the story.

Heart of the Earth may be just a legend.

Your Majesty.

I will train some elite soldiers.

I will lead them to the passage.

For you and the people.

I will find the heart of the earth.

I used to go to the passage in person.

I know it well.

And I almost die inside.

I still didn't find the heart of the earth.

You went in there?

Yuan Qingjiang came here to find the heart of the earth.

He came here quietly.

I knew carefree palace's existence just because I followed him.

Such a a weird place sits under the tree goddess of the palace.

Behind the portal is carefree palace.

Carefree palace?

Carefree palace really exists?

You have you been here before?

Your Majesty.

Here is dangerous.

You should go back.

You can't be here.

Wait for me.

You wait for me.

According to the legend, the heart of the earth is buried in carefree city.

I name you my distinguished guest.

But you come to another country for treasure.

You even scold me.

How dare you!

Family Yuan's ancestors built this to protect you from the sandstorms.

I know where the gear is.

I know the way inside.

The wall has my family's code.

Wait for me.

Wait.

I am like a newborn calf not afraid of tigers.

I followed him to the channel of carefree palace.

I also scolded him for stealing treasures in aother country.

And I even fought hard against him.

But he saw me like an ignorant girl.

He indulged me.

Then I'm tired.

He took the food out for me.

Then I realized why he tried to find the heart of the earth.

You can't buy me with food.

You are still a thief.

The legendary heart of the earth is our hope.

There are endless treasures in it.

And many seed that can take root indefinitely.

But.

Since you give me the food,

I can give you all the treasures if you can find them.

I only need seeds.

Because I can build a sandbreak forest for my people with the seeds.

As I know, the heart of the earth has endless treasures.

And the medicine that can treat all kinds of pain.

Even more, it can bring people's back to life.

I have to find it.

But I can promise you.

I just need the elixir.

You can take all the seeds and the treasures.

The heart of the earth has so many legends.

But you are so strange.

You don't want treasure or seeds.

Why do you need the medicine?

My father is seriously ill.

I must find the heart of the earth.

Find the elixir.

I want to prolong his life.

He is a gentle man.

We got lost in the passage.

He insisted on walking in front of me.

But I don't want to go behind him.

I demanded to walk in front.

He smiled and said.

He liked walking ahead.

Then we met many deadly gears.

I would have died a hundred times without him.

What kind of man is he?

He is worried about my safety.

But why did he put on an indifferent look?

He is a good man from your description.

No wonder you can't forget him.

From then on, I fall in love with him.

We are lost in the passage for a long time.

He was trying to figure out the exit.

But I hoped to get lost in the passage forever.

Even if the death is ahead of us.

Then the fire was exhausted.

We ran out of our food.

We touched the gear.

I am shot by the poisonous arrows.

I thought I was going to die.

But he sucked the venom for me.

He sat against my shoulder.

That was my first time to be so close to a man.

At last I was safe.

I thought I would never go out in my life.

I took the liberty.

Qingjiang.

If we are going to die here, can I die in your arms?

I want to be your wife.

Even it's one day.

Fortunately.

He found his family's code on the wall.

We left carefree palace.

Finally we still parted ways.

Feijue is his best gift for me.

The problem of desertification many years ago repeats again.

So people still need to hide in the underground like before?

They need to rebuild the homes after the sandstorm?

No.

I am going to find the heart of the earth in carefree palace now.

Your Majesty.

If you insist, I will go with you.

But we have to prepare for the worst.

What if you can't come back?

What should prince do?

Not to mention.

The heart of the earth is just a legend.

No one has seen it.

We are not sure if it's true.

You can't take risks, your Majesty.

I know.

You worry about my safety.

But I am worried about the safety of Gongyue.

She has a love story with my father.

No wonder Feijue demanded to go back to Purple Garden.

But why Great Yuan god's love story with fairy Mu is here?

The love story you told me in the dark palace?

I didn't finish it last time.

Great yuan's love with fairy Mu broke the god's rules.

Fairy Mu was demoted to the mortal world.

She became a tree.

Great Yuan god wants to stay with fairy Mu forever.

So he becomes the fertile soil of thousands of miles under the tree.

His heart is the heart of the earth.

Heart of the earth the queen talked about just now?

Your Majesty.

We will find a way out.

But the sandstorm is not the priority.

But the mysterious force in the palace.

You're right.

Biying is imprisoned in the hall.

Today is the last day.

We will know whether she is one of family Ming.

Let's go back.

Yes.

Sister Biying.

What happened to my third sister?

I need to find her in the hall.

It is the third day.

Mother.

Second brother.

Don't come.

We are Xiaowuyi.

We are sworn sisters.

Among the five of us.

You are the youngest.

We all love you.

And you have only yourself in your eyes.

I treat you like my own sister.

I didn't expect you would harm me.

And it's not the first time.

When did you want to kill me?

When you becomes Rosemallow's nuisance.

I told her to quit the labor work.

But she still stayed and took care of you.

I hated you since then.

You took my only family from me.

I never took her from you.

I am your sister, too.

But you want me to be dead.

I never thought to kill you.

The one who is going to kill you is the queen.

Can you guarantee, you have nothing to do with family Ming?

Rosemallow.

Feibai didn't kill you.

You are not dead.

We have new guests.

Your Majesty, I am Yuan Feibai the leader of Yuande army.

You are lord Jin's son, Mr. Snow?

Yes, Yuan Qingjiang is my father.

How's your father doing?

He is doing fine.

He always reminds you in front of me.

He says you are a woman that he can't forget.

Now I think he is right.

Lord Jin is an unforgettable man too.

We have heard a lot about your story with lady Huaxi.

It's very touching.

We have Lady Huaxi festival for lovers.

Who is this?

Come.

Your Majesty.

She is lady Huaxi.
