[Ep 38]

My lord.

Feiliu is sleeping?

Yes.

It's late now.

You should go to bed early.

Close your eyes.

Close your eyes.

Open your eyes.

Flowers so beautiful.

Your birthday is coming.

You don't like jewelry.

So I give you the rare vegetable cicada.

We have some open space in the yard.

We can move these flowers over there.

We are so tacit.

Silly girl.

Vegetable cicada can't be exposed to sunlight.

It's a kind of flower growing indoors.

What a pity.

The beautiful flower can't see the sunlight.

Don't underestimate it.

Its fragrance can cure many diseases.

I like whatever you give me.

I will give something in return.

I accept whatever you give me.

You barely know it.

You despise my gift so?

I'm so afraid of your cleverness.

Say it.

It depends on what's you are going to say.

Lord.

Let bygones be bygones.

As I know, Mujue temple is in the junction of Gongyue and Xiting.

It's very efficacious.

I want to pray for protective talisman for Feiliu.

And I want to have another baby for you.

Request granted.

Second brother.

Don't blame me for investigating you in Gongyue.

All because you have so many secrets.

Meixiang.

Meixiang.

Ma'am, four noodles.

Four noodles.

Here you are.

Ming Fengqing sent you here, right?

Yes.

She sent me here to kill you the traitor.

Sir, sorry for the lateness.

What's going on in Gongyue's palace?

And Biying?

Don't worry.

Miss Biying is safe in the palace.

Ming Fengqing knows I am nearby.

She failed killing me today.

She will harm Biying.

Hurry, we need to go to the palace.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

The princess brought the seeds from Jiangnan.

They didn't work well.

Then the rumors circulate around.

What rumors?

People all say royal family will move the capital to the north.

My later father thought about it.

The desert has already devoured many countries.

Where can I move?

Father.

When I find the heart of the earth,

I can solve the sand storm here and protect Gongyue's land.

Muyin.

Good boy.

Little prince.

Muyin... -You are so tall.

Muyin.

Muyin.

Xiangqin. -Yes.

Take him over there.

Yes.

Little prince, let's go over there.

Long time no see.

I miss you.

You lost some weight.

Are you...

Are you having a bad time?

I won't have a bad time if you make no troubles.

Silly girl.

In this world, I am the only one who is sincere to you.

Actually I want to believe you.

But I don't know why I have inexplicable fear when I see you.

That maid is so sneaky.

I have seen her several times.

Her name is Aheina.

Aheina?

Investigate her.

Yes.

Ma'am, it's inside.

Ok.

Song Minglei's men.

They fought.

Stop.

We need some rest.

Yes. Have some rest.

We are the businessmen from Central Plains.

We want to rest here.

Suit yourself.

May I ask you?

Where can I buy cistanche?

It's a sacred medicine here.

Private sale is strictly prohibited.

It's the special medicine for the royal family.

How long does it take to get Gongyue?

Four or five days without sandstorms.

And don't go at night.

It's not very peaceful in recent years.

Bandits are rampant everywhere.

Why the bandits here are so rampant?

It's a long story.

Many orchards are engulfed by sandstorms over the past years.

More and more people become the bandits.

They live by plundering the passing-by merchants.

Some small countries moved away because of the desertification.

Only Gongyue stays here.

Gongyue is not afraid of sandstorm?

Yes, of course.

Monarchs of generations have racked his brain to solve the sandstorm.

And years ago, a golden rose princess came.

And Gongyue's environment got improved.

She is the goddess from the Central Plains.

What?

Goddess from the Central Plains?

Yes.

Central Plains.

I made the carving for you.

Does it look like you?

Sophora flower?

Rosemallow.

Does this clay doll look like you?

Sophora flower.

Sophora flower.

Sophora flower.

You get up now.

What's wrong?

Didn't have a good sleep last night?

Well.

You smell so good.

What fragrance?

I like fragrance since childhood.

It's self-made rose cream.

I have the habit of eating flowers since childhood.

So in spring, I will eat many sophora flowers.

Now I smell like it.

As I know, the sophora flowers in the Central Plains

are very fragrant and beautiful.

Have you ever used it?

Sophora flowers have the subtle scent.

And they are not beautiful.

I like roses.

She is not Rosemallow.

Rosemallow loves her sister very much.

I will take care of her lest Rosemallow be worried about her.

You will come to see me.

Right?

Be good to you mother and be a good emperor in Gongyue.

Biying.

I remember all.

Biying.

Why do you lie to me?

Are you all right?

I will go hunting deep in the desert with Amier for days.

Take care of Muyin in my absence.

I told you not to see me again.

You become like this.

How can I not come?

Yuan Feijue is not good to you?

Why do you kow this?

You are my only daughter.

My men will tell me your every move.

You have me monitored?

This is the only way I care about you.

Care about me?

If you really care about me, you wouldn't abandon me.

I wouldn't be adopted from childhood.

And you wouldn't let me go to Purple Garden.

I wouldn't be bullied.

Let alone force me to accept family Ming.

You love yourself most.

You need blood relation for your tool.

Second brother and me.

No, you are different from him.

You are my daughter.

I will never hurt you.

Stop talking.

I don't want to see you anymore

Oherwise I will have no mercy on you.

Aheina's identity is very suspicious.

No maid named Aheina is the palace.

She has a strange palace-centered power.

Keep an eye on Yao Biying.

Investigate from her.

Yes.

Enclose it.

Boss.

The bandits.

What should we do?

A gift.

It's Biying?

How's it going?

Our men sent a secret letter to Song Minglei in the Inn.

And the one who takes him to carefree palace

is waiting for him outside the inn.

Less than half an hour, he will come to see you.

Today, Ming's traitor will die here.

Of course.

We have this noble guest to thank.

From the sound, here is underground.

Yes, this is carefree palace.

Carefree palace?

As I know, the heart of the earth is buried in carefree city.

I didn't expect you found the entrance.

During these three years, we expand the entrances and exits very far.

Outside Gongyue, carefree palace's dark gates are everywhere.

But no one knows except us.

So aunt did a lot of things in Gongyue over the past three years.

But your stronghold is still carefree palace.

I'm afraid you didn't find the heart of the earth.

None of your concern.

You even come Gongyue just to chase me.

I didn't want to do this.

But you forced me first.

It's my duty to avenge family Ming.

But you think I forced you.

If it's not betrayal, what's it?

I did give you a chance.

But you kept procrastinating over and over again.

You even try to kill me.

So unfaithful.

Even if you are the last man in family Ming, I have to kill you.

Ok.

You can kill me.

But you can't harm the innocent.

You need to let her go first.

Her?

You don't avenge your family but die for a woman.

Well, you are good for nothing.

Serve you right.

What did you do to Biying?

Xiangqin has been following you.

She is your maid.

But she is monitoring you secretly.

There's a catch in it.

We need to beware of her.

You are my daughter.

My men tell me your every move.

Well.

Except Xiangqin.

Another two guards are following you.

So you need to beware of them.

Be careful.

Thank you, Mr. Guo.

I will be careful.

You mean, Biying...

She is my biological daughter.

How can I threaten you with her?

Your own daughter?

She is my half-sister, right?

Back then, brother was afraid my premarital pregnancy

would ruin family's reputation.

So he told people she was his illegitimate daughter.

So he found a foster father for her.

I didn't expect you mistook her as your biological sister.

Yang.

I really want to thank you.

Aunt, she is my cousin.

But she is your own daughter.

You threatened me with your own daughter for more than ten years.

How can you be such a vicious mother?

How can I keep you in my hands without Biying?

Just because she is your own daughter.

You can't take her into the fire pit.

Have you ever thought about her situation?

Queen of Gongyue is within easy reach.

Once she discovers your relationship with Biying,

Biying may die at any time.

Have you ever thought about it?

Queen?

What's Queen?

I am strong enough.

Soon, the whole Gongyue will be mine.

As for you, the traitor.

Today you will die here.

Who's there?

What's wrong?

I saw someone.

Where?

Don't make a bluff.

Go.

Why it's gone?

Go.

You didn't catch Biying.

Who is that?

Think, who has Xiaowuyi's board?

Brother has been missing for many years.

No one knows where he is.

You can't catch sister Jinxiu.

Aunt.

You can't deceive me.

I said, it's a gift.

How can I deceive my good nephew?

Rosemallow.

Stop.

Sister.

It's you.

You are still alive.

This is the gift for you.

If I die here, your sister will die with me.

Second brother.

You are the young master of family Ming?

My men plunder the property of business travelers along the way.

But I did not expect I would get the surprise.

Hua Rosemallow.

You have heard what we talked about just now.

This is your second brother's true identity.

Mind-blowing huh?

You told me Rosemallow died under Yuan's arrest warrant.

So I will do according to your instructions.

Do you know your words changed my destiny?

You are the young master of family Ming.

Did you forget why you went to family Yuan?

What you said is true?

Second brother.

Why do you become like this?

Tell you the truth.

Song Minglei's real name is Ming Xuri.

Family Yuan killed family Ming.

Only two of us survived.

From that day on, he lived to seek revenge.

He didn't change.

This is the way he always is.

It's his destiny to seek revenge on family Yuan.

Second brother.

Why you told me nothing?

I didn't know your pain until now.

Lost?

Where can she run?

She disappeared from the palace.

Go.

Find her back.

Find her at all costs.

Yes.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

They are really your men?

I knew it long ago.

You have Biying monitored.

I don't want to believe it.

But I didn't expect...

Your Majesty.

You know Biying over the past years.

She loves Feijue wholeheartedly.

But since she comes here, I find a mysterious force lurking around.

And it's related to her.

Guo Er'ren.

I believe you can feel it too.

Why you ignore it?

And she has an extremely weird tattoo.

If she is a good girl, why does she have it?

If she really wanted to harm Feijue, she would have done it earlier.

Why does she wait till now?

And she helped us plant trees and consolidate water and soil.

Your Majesty.

It shows she is a kind girl.

And we don't have any evidence that

she is connected with the mysterious force.

I know.

Biying is opening up wasteland and planting trees.

She has a high prestige among the people.

I also know she loves Feijue wholeheartedly.

But I can't be careful enough.

If she really has mysterious force behind her,

what should I do?

I can't risk Feijue and Gongyue.

But your Majesty.

Enough.

I know what I am doing.

Rosemallow.

We are done talking now.

Here is my order.

Kill the traitor.

Rosemallow, you go first.

Second brother,

Go...

No.

I need to save my second brother.

Come with me.

Who are you?

You can't make me.

My surname is Zhang.

Mr. Snow sent me here.

He wants to help you out.

Feibai.

Where is he now?

He is waiting for you in the city. Go.

He is in the city?

He is not infected?

Is he all right now?

He's fine.

Go with me, ok?

Go.

My good nephew.

I will send you to hell.

I will occupy the entire Gongyue soon.

I will destroy family Yuan with Gongyue to avenge my family.

Stop.

Biying.

Why are you here?

Second brother.

Biying.

It's you.

You are injured.

I will get you out of here.

Stop.

Song Minglei is a traitor.

You can't fight against me for him.

From Xidu to Gongyue.

The sister I trusted most plotted against me secretly.

My beloved man loves someone else.

Even you,

my biological mother, are a crazy and vicious woman.

Only second brother.

He gives me the best memories in my past.

Kill me before you kill him.

You are so good to your second brother?

But does he deserve it?

Think.

You were sick in Xiaobeiwu for a long time.

Who did that to you?

What do you mean?

You also know Liuguang powder?

My silly daughter.

I know you hate Hua Rosemallow.

But the one who poisoned Liuguang powder is him.

You are trying to lie to me.

Let's go.

Second brother.

Yang.

Say it.

Why did you do that to me?

Of course, for the status in family Yuan.

No.

No?

Why did you kill me?

Why do you betray family Ming?

I didn't betray family Ming.

I said, I have many ways to seek revenge.

You can't wait so you forced me again and again.

You can't wait to marry Feiyan.

But you don't know why you become the son in law.

It's me.

If I didn't send men to rape her, how could she be so obedient to you?

What did you say?

Guangqian.

Guangqian.

You thought you would live a rich life in family Yuan after killing me?

You are wrong.

After family Yuan knows this, you will die first.

You are crazy.

I swore to you.

I would avenge family Ming.

I also said.

Don't take advantage of Yuan Feiyan.

Why did you force me?

What qualifies you to ruin our lives?

Qualifies?

Just because you are family Ming.

Because she is your enemy's daughter.

You don't want to revenge.

You and her won't have a happy ending.

You are so dead.

Song Minglei.

You forget your revenge.

I will kill you today.

Enough.

Biying.

Second brother did something wrong to me.

But I grew up with him.

I die with him if he dies.

After I die, Feijue will investigate thoroughly.

All your efforts will be ruined.

In exchange.

I will keep the secret for you.

Let second brother go.

Fine.

I can let him go.

But I also have a condition.

You can't tell others about my stronghold.

Otherwise I will kill your loves.

Ok.

Ok.

Don't try to lie to me.

I said it and I mean it.

Go.

Go.

I set the tiger back to the mountain.

Are you satisfied?

Satisfied?

You let me see the worst aspect of my family.

You ask me if I am satisfied.

Biying.

We are from family Ming.

We have to avenge them.

Don't tell me about that.

Family Ming didn't raise me.

Why should I avenge you?

How can you be so unfilial?

I'm tired.

Don't monitor me.

Don't come to see me again.

Stop...

Where is the stronghold of family Ming?

Are we lost?

Ma'am.

Did you see the gobi in the distance?

Right there.

Family Ming has something to do with my second brother.

I really want to see what's in there.

Go.

Go.

Stop.

You work for Ming Fengqing.

No.

Princess.

I beg you.

Don't tell ma'am that you know my identity.

Otherwise she will kill me.

Princess.

Xiangqin.

I see you as my old friend and take you in.

You helped her monitor me, follow me.

Biying, I am wrong.

Princess.

I will never do it again.

Princess.

No.

Biying.

We grow up together.

Have mercy, ok?

I've seen Ming Fengqing.

Ma'am will kill me.

Ma'am will kill me.

I didn't have time to mention you.

Let bygones be bygones.

But if in the future I find you disobey me, betray me again,

I will make you pay.

Yes.

I won't do it again.

I will never forget.

I guarantee, I won't do anything harmful to you.

You want to go in?

Find the switch.

Passionflower.

Family Ming's logo.

So we got it right.

Family Ming's stronghold is here.

Go there. -Yes.

What should we do?

We are trapped here.

Sorry, uncle.

You will die here with me.

You are a woman.

Why do you come to Gongyue over a long distance?

Do you know how dangerous it is?

Mr. Snow is in trouble, I need to help him.

The plague is so gruesome.

What should he do if he has no cistanche?

You are stuck here.

You are not helping him.

You are making troubles, you know?

Yes.

I'm making troubles.
