[Ep 37]

Xiyan, you need to eat more.

Remember.

You are not alone in the future.

You have me and Xiyan.

We are a family of three.

Dad, feed me.

Come.

Dad, feed mother.

Thank you.

Delicious, good.

Excuse me.

Sorry for the interruption.

Xiyan is a good girl.

So good.

Qingmei, I should go back.

It's time to go back to the barrack.

Take care of her for me.

You were imprisoned for three years for her.

You even deign to rope in Zhang Zhiyan.

But what did she do for you?

You won't understand.

If you love someone,

you will understand it doesn't matter if you sacrifice more.

I'm afraid I will never find my love again.

Congratulations, aunt, you come back to Central Plains.

You seem to have a happy life in family Yuan.

Aunt.

Now Dou and Yuan are in tense contest.

It's not the good time to replace family Yuan.

You really care about the overall interests.

Or you are indulged in your wife's tenderness and forget who you are.

Aunt.

I don't want to explain anything.

Please give me more time.

You really forget why you go to Purple Garden.

Take the traitor back.

Lifetime confinement.

Time's changed.

Aunt, you should know the situation.

You want to kill me?

Aunt, you didn't forget my injury right?

You let me know I can't forget something because of your 360 whips.

I will never forget you risked your life to save me.

But you know I am just your tool.

Rosemallow's death, my marriage and my love are just your plans.

A tool doesn't need love.

But I am a man.

I want friendship, love and family.

I have a way to completely destroy family Yuan.

I will do it in my way.

What way do you have?

Song Minglei.

You are a coward.

I don't believe you will do that.

Ma'am.

Go.

My second brother's secret is so interesting.

But we can't hear what they are talking about.

Second brother is going to set out with the army.

Have him followed.

Guangqian.

It's dangerous on the battlefield.

Take care.

I will leave my brother to you.

Sister.

I have Guangqian, don't worry.

I won't let Feibai steal the thunder.

Yes, our Linde is stronger than Yuande

even without father's support and finance.

It's getting late.

Brother, we should go now.

Go.

Guangqian.

Take care of yourself.

Come back early.

Xiyan is sleeping now.

Yuerong.

Why did you do it on purpose?

Yeah.

I brought Xiyan on purpose.

I just sabotage your reunion on purpose.

No matter what I do, you still can't forget him.

What am I over the past three years?

Am I a joker there?

You just need to run the Jun's stores in Jiangzhou.

I will handle Jun's stores in Nanguo.

Yuerong.

I want to leave a message to your father.

I have opened the market in Jiangzhou.

Fifty-fifty.

Why are you so bitchy?

We gave all our money to him.

But he can't give you the antidote.

He is so bitchy.

He can't give you happiness and antidote.

And he can't be with you.

What does he want on earth?

All he wants is to hurt you again?

Yes.

We can't be together.

Why do we see each other again?

Is it fun?

I forgot it.

Today is Mid-Autumn Festival.

It's a happy day for the whole family.

My lord.

Lord is coming.

Feiyun.

I made your favorite egg yolk moon cake.

I'll get it for you.

Look.

Your favorite.

I feed you. Do you like it?

I will eat.

We eat while enjoying the moon.

My darling.

We go to see the moon.

What a big moon.

Seven days.

He didn't lie to me.

Sir, what's written in it?

I see Fang right.

He convinced the caravan to open the business road for us without injury.

We have branches in Youzhou.

He expands our business.

And he helps us promote our reputation.

Fang is so talented in business.

So Jun's stores will go to Tianzhu.

Chunlai.

Tell all the branches that Fang is the second leader.

Yes.

Zhang Zhiyan is so ignorant.

He forms an alliance with Yuan Feibai.

Calm down, premier.

The top priority is to handle Yuan's army.

According to the latest intelligence,

Linde army captured many fortresses, on the way to join prince Xuan.

Yuan Feibai's Yuande army is even tougher.

They forces general Pan to retreat 30 miles.

Now he is in Jingguan city.

Ridiculous.

Why is Pan Zhengyue so vulnerable?

Not his fault.

But because one of his soliders is infected with epidemic.

And it's spreading.

So general Pan can't move on.

Epidemic?

Is the epidemic serious?

More than ten people have died.

General Pan is doing his best to control the epidemic.

Tell Pan Zhengyue.

Kill all sick soldiers whether they are infected or not.

Yes.

Wait.

Tell Pan Zhengyue.

Throw all the corpses in Yuan Feibai's army with his stone thrower.

Please.

Thank you, duke.

I didn't realize you were the buyer of Dong pearl until I got here.

Sorry.

Merchants should treat royal family and ordinary people equally.

I can't seek any privilege.

Well, I have issued a trade order for less than three months.

The tax revenue doubles.

You should take the most credit.

Lord, I am flattered.

Jiangzhou's prosperity is all because you are concerned about the people.

You accept good advices.

I can't take the credit.

Brother.

I like talking with you.

I booked the Dong pearl today.

Can I have a look now?

Lord, look.

This is the opal of Ceylon.

This is the luminous pearl of Gongyue.

This is Nanyang's black pearl and amber.

Lord.

Do you like any one of them?

No wonder you the richest businessman.

I just need Dong pearl.

But you take so many pearls here.

It's ten of thousands of markets and supply chains behind each pearl.

Awesome, I want them all.

In that case.

These jewels, you need to pay 200 taels of silver.

Just for our friendship.

These pearls are very expensive.

How can I shortchange you?

Lord.

I can open my branches in Jiangzhou all because of your help.

I can't thank you enough.

Brother Jun.

You are considerate and sophisticated.

Sometimes I really doubt you.

You are as thoughtful as a woman.

You are kidding me.

I also hope I am a carefree woman.

But I am destined to be a busy bee.

Thank you for your hospitality, I have to go now.

I have prepared a carriage for you.

Thank you.

All businessmen are profiteers.

Is it right?

Jun Mowen opens the market in Jiangzhou at all costs.

He spent a lot of money and stayed here for three months.

What's his purpose?

What's his purpose?

I will go to investigate him?

Otherwise?

Are you all right, sir?

Feibai is infected with the epidemic.

Yuande army is in trouble.

Yeah, many Yuande soldiers died.

Is there any way out?

A rare elixir can cure them.

What is it?

Cistanche deserticola.

Cistanche deserticola?

Yeah, it's precious.

It grows in Gongyue.

Gongyue?

Sir, are you all right?

Sir.

Sir.

I met someone when I was in Jiangnan.

I couldn't see her clearly.

But when I saw her blurry figure and smelt her fragrance,

all the fragmented pictures of the past came into my mind.

I started to dream about Rosemallow.

Crown prince.

Princess wants to have meal with you.

I will eat in my palace today.

Tell her not to wait for me.

Yes.

Rosemallow in my dream is cute and lovely.

But Biying is calm and supple.

They have different personalities.

And this shares no similarity with Biying.

Guo Er'ren.

Rosemallow is someone else?

Your Highness.

A doll is just a doll.

It's not like the real person.

Your princess is your Rosemallow.

I and Amier can bear the witness.

Please don't think too much.

Rosemallow used to be with Yao Biying all the time.

What's going on?

Sir.

Come.

I'm fine.

Go to Gongyue with me.

Duke Zhang knows you are sick, so he is here to see you.

Why now?

I won't see him.

Yes. -Wait.

I need him to open the market in Jiangzhou.

Xiaoyu.

Help me get changed.

I will see him.

We are so close, never mind the appearance.

Yes.

Ok, you can leave now.

Wait.

I know you are sick.

Dragonblood grass, the tribute from Nanjiang.

I brought it for you.

Boil it and drink it.

Thank you for your concern, duke.

We are brothers.

Don't call me duke. Change it.

Brother Zhang.

Good brother.

Sit.

You are too young for hematemesis.

It's chronic disease. It doesn't matter.

Chronic disease? Come.

Let me help you.

It's warm.

Why are you looking at me?

Your men prepared the medicine.

I can't poison it.

Come.

Good boy.

I also know you have another name.

Lady Huaxi.

Right?

For Yuan Feibai, you donated all your three-year savings to Yuande.

To supplement their military resources.

You also promised that you would open the market of Jiangzhou.

And you go forty-sixty with family Duan.

No, fifty-fifty.

Brother Zhang, you are joking.

Lady Huaxi died long ago.

Not important.

Just a name.

Yuan Feibai brought you to see me, not for opening the market?

Yeah, I open the market for my own interests.

But these three months, people's livelihood is improved.

Duke, you have seen it right?

You have more than 100 branches.

In the past three years, you come and go all the towns.

But we stayed in Jiangzhou for three months.

The matchmaker is family Yuan.

Family Yuan is the enemy's minister.

Jiangzhou is my child.

How can I put my child in danger?

What do you want?

Duke.

Mr. Snow helped me because he thought

my proposal is good to people's livelihood.

He is concerned about the people not for his own interests.

Duke.

You recognized me so you accepted my proposal right?

Stand up.

Sit down.

Beautiful hands.

Why do you disguise as a man and deceive me?

But I open my hearts to you.

I open the market for you and you make a lot of money.

Why?

I can swear.

I dress like a man just because I want to fulfill my business aspirations.

I didn't mean to deceive you deliberately.

You are really smart.

Also very attractive.

But you are dangerous, too.

Anyone who gets you will get the secret weapon of the world.

You are a woman with a weak body.

But you have the powerful business empire.

It's incredible.

I doubt you.

But you attract me.

What should I do?

I won't doubt you on one condition.

Go back with me and be my woman.

Duke.

If you really want to do this, you will see a corpse.

Why?

I can give whatever you want.

Other men don't deserve you.

I know what I am doing.

You doubt me.

But if I really habor evil ideas, I could replace you

with Yuan's army over the past three months.

Go on.

Think.

After you accept my proposal, the city is more and more prosperous.

And the treasury is rich now.

You want to force me to death or lose a strong business partner?

It's your decision to make.

Duke.

Who is she?

I am Jun's concubine.

And he is good to me.

I implore you won't make it so hard for my master.

If you won't mind, I can serve you as hostage.

Yoyo.

It's none of your business.

Stand up.

You have no say in Jiangzhou.

But I will take you as my brother.

I accept the gift.

If I don't accept, I will fail you and Mr. Snow.

Of course.

If one day you change your mind, you can come and be my hostage.

I will wait.

The beard doesn't suit for you.

Go.

Yoyo.

It's ok.

Young master, you wake up.

Finally you wake up.

What happened to me?

You are infected with the epidemic.

It was so dangerous.

Now you are safe.

You used cistanche.

Young master.

The disease is under control.

How about the soldiers?

I have only one cistanche.

Mr. Han.

How many people died?

Young master.

400 people have been infected.

130 of them died.

I survived, so I need to try my best to save them.

I'll go to Gongyue now.

Young master.

You need more rest before you go.

Ok.

You come here.

It's your reward.

Thank you, duke.

But it's hard to find a good man.

I don't like the jewelry.

No one says don't like my reward in front of me.

You are so different.

Say it.

What do you want?

I want to know.

Because I want your sincerity.

Interesting.

Duke.

Jun Mowen wants to see you.

Yoyo, see or not?

Yes.

You should go now.

Yes.

Duke.

No red tape.

On second thought?

I am here not for that.

What's the problem?

Please allow me to find Cistanche for Yuande army in Gongyue.

You are so honest.

I don't want to deceive you.

Congratulations.

I can't marry you.

Why the congratulations?

You said, you need a strong and rich Jiangzhou.

I have a brand new plan for you.

Duke.

This is the brand new plan.

Please have a try.

Just wine.

Nothing peculiar.

I want to see Yoyo.

Yes.

Duke.

Sir.

You sit.

Please.

Good wine.

Bright color.

Full-bodied.

Sweet.

Good wine.

Where did you get this?

Duke.

This is Gongyue's national wine.

So you want to persuade me with it?

So you can go to find cistanche?

Duke.

If we bring wine to Jiangzhou,

and people can drink it easily,

think about the tax revenue increase.

And what's more.

Jiangzhou is warm in all seasons.

It's suitable for grapes.

Jiangzhou can grow grapes.

We can introduce the winemaking methods.

And we can export the wine.

If we open the business way with Central Plains, we will benefit more.

You have my consent.

You convinced me.

You can go to find cistanche in Gongyue.

Thank you, duke.

But I will handle your Jun's stores while you are away.

Duke.

You are afraid he won't come back.

Are you right?

She is so straight-forward.

Go on.

I will try my best to serve you every day.

I know Jun's store has a treasure.

And it can help you control Mowen completely.

What?

Just standing next to you.

So I can't return the treasure.

Take care.

Young master, you are going to Gongyue?

Yes.

I am irreconcilable with Ming Fengqing.

Even if I don't go, she will come.

But if they find you leave without permission,

you will face consequence.

We havce captured 5 fortresses.

Soliders need rest.

My brother is kind. He hates to see blood.

He is suspicious of me for some time.

But I don't regret it.

I have to do something for his accession.

Eldest young master is so lucky to have you.

But now what annoys me most is Ming Fengqing.

She won't give up easily.

After she goes back, she will harm Biying.

I and Biying won't have peace until she dies.

Yuerong, why are you here?

As I know, you are leaving.

I will go to Gongyue.

Why do you go there?

For business.

What business?

When do you care about this?

I say, what business?

Wine business.

Not medicine business?

So it's true.

Yuan Feibai's army suffered a plague.

You want to find cistanche, right?

Yuerong.

Listen to me.

Sometimes you are so weak.

We don't know how many years you have left.

You really want to risk your life for Yuan Feibai?

I won't allow you to go.

He is in danger, I must go.

You know you can't be with him.

What do you expect from him?

I expect nothing from him.

I only know.

If I don't solve it, I will feel terrible.

I can't feel at ease until he is safe.

Fine.

Just go.

But before you go, I hope you can give me

all the money of the rest of the year.

I don't want to give the money to others.

I didn't have the revenue of this month.

How could I pay the money of the rest of year?

And I have told your father, we will go fifty-fifty.

Now we have Jiangzhou's market.

Yuerong, please keep your promise.

Keep your promise?

Ok, I will keep my promise.

Now our business in Central Plains goes on well.

And we open the branches in Jiangzhou.

If you can double the revenue in months,

I can give you a promise.

We can go sixty-forty.

But if we make a penny less while you are away,

I will make you pay.

Ok.

Yuerong.

I know you just want to keep me.

But I must go to Gongyue.

We can expand our business there.

This is the only way I can repay you.
