[Ep 34]

Liu'er, you know our ancestors' poems at such a young age.

So great.

They are bold and uninhibited.

I can recite their poems and imitate their calligraphy.

Great. Shi Qingpei.

Yes.

Bring the late lord's lowercase here.

For Liu'er's practice.

Yes.

Send Yun'er and Liu'er the cloth from the imperial palace.

Yes.

Thank you, my lord.

Thank you, my lord.

It's ok.

You teach my sons so well. I am so happy.

Father.

As I know, the refugees are outside on the street.

So I hope you can give the cloth to them.

My little son is so compassionate.

So enterprising.

Thank you for your compliment, my lord.

Lord, Feiyun said yesterday he would donate his money to the refugees.

Both of you are my good sons.

Great.

You should study hard now.

In the future you will be my good hands.

Do you understand?

Yes, father.

Tired, right?

Go, have a good rest.

Mother, I'm thirsty.

Hurry, serve the tea.

Yes.

Go get it.

You recited the poems so well.

Your father praised you.

But Yuan Feiliu could recite the ancestor's poem.

It doesn't matter even if he is better than me.

You are the elder brother. You can't lose to him.

You should set a good example for your younger brother.

Listen to me.

We should defeat him next time.

Yes.

I will study hard.

I will practice martial arts hard and in the future I will be like father.

Great.

You are my baby.

I have great expectations in you.

You should remember your ancestors have civil and military skills.

Your father has heroic achievements.

You should be an accomplished man like them.

I got that, mother.

My good son.

You are so smart and sensible.

I believe my son will be a powerful general like his father.

General.

Can I be a general?

Of course.

I am a general...

I'm a general.

I can be a general.

Come, have a look.

Mr. Snow is concerned about lady Huaxi.

He loves her so deeply.

Come, have a look, the beautiful rosemallow.

Can you see? So great.

Rosemallow flowers for your wife.

You will love each other forever.

Your majesty, Shuyi is going to get married.

What does Yuan Feibai mean?

He loses our princess' face.

I am sorry for what my son did.

I am so indulgent with him.

I am so ashamed.

But don't worry, Your Majesty.

It's the matter of princess Shuyi's reputation.

I will give you an answer.

Well, we can talk about their marriage in the future.

You can go now.

If you only have Rosemallow in your heart, what about us?

But if you really only have Rosemallow in your heart,

why did you kill her?

After East and West wings change into two Linde and Yuande.

Yuande's army is getting less and less.

It can't go further like this.

Young master Feibai has been grounded for more than three years.

I beg you, my lord, please release him.

Yuande needs him.

Yuan Feibai is so ignorant that he leaves our family behind.

He failed us all.

I think it's a good opportunity for Feiyun.

Father, I think East and West wings should be united as one.

Now Linde is on the right track.

I think they should join forces to serve our family.

Lord, we are in tense fight against Dou.

Now we need a general.

If we don't use young master Feibai, it will be a pity.

Guangqian.

What's your take?

Father, I think we can't have an army without a general.

Mr. Han has been in charge of Yuande army for years.

He knows the army best.

So we just stay unchanged.

Guangqian, why do you defend young master Feibai?

Father wants to pry out my intention.

Over the past three years, Linde expands rapidly.

And it exceeds his own army Tiande.

He wants to counterbalance us.

He won't leave us with Yuande.

Rather than ma'am Lian and Hua Jinxiu.

it's better to leave it to Yuan Feibai in the dungeon.

Fair enough.

But Han Xiuzhu is tough.

These years, while Yuan Feibai is in the dungeon,

he keeps Eastwing well organized.

Don't worry, it's under my control.

Immortal.

Immortal.

Lord.

The garden is full of spring, and the scenery is intoxicating.

Usually you live in seclusion.

I don't think you are here to enjoy the spring.

Smart...

So is there anything wrong?

Because of Six Sons.

Lord.

You have Six Sons in your hands.

Everything is ready.

So it's the time that you end the troubled world with your benevolence.

As the saying goes, the moon waxes and wanes.

If you can end the chaotic world with toughness,

you are such a hero.

Spring is intoxicating.

I don't know if the one in that dungeon can see the spring.

What do you mean?

Wait, what do you mean, sir?

You will understand.

In the dungeon.

The spring.

So he means Feibai?

I get it.

I have sacrificed my whole life but in the end I am just a pavers.

Well.

Keep the last 2 containers for boss Qiu.

Yes.

You are very tired, right?

Have some noodles.

You.

Eat.

The vegetarian noodles?

I cooked the tonic soup with many materials.

It's so alible.

Have a try.

Guess what's in there.

Angelica

Patriarch gave me the ginseng of thousands of years.

I cooked it in the soup.

It's very alible.

Look at you.

In recent years, you have been working so hard.

You lost so much weight.

Even the patriarch is worried about you.

Well, boss Pei of Happy Four Wings wanted to see you.

He wants to cooperate with us.

What Happy Four Wings?

Are you stupid? It's about the wedding.

Now many people realize it's a kind of business.

Either the princes or the ordinary people,

they all hold wedding ceremony.

A lot of preparation needs to be done before the marriage.

What we need to do is prepare the one-stop wedding for lovers.

We will cater to the needs of different people.

Every wedding will be different.

It's their marriage.

You even want to make money out of it.

You are so sissy.

We can't replicate others.

We didn't do this before.

We can't be careful enough.

Quite a good business.

Sir, you forgot your collection of poems.

Father.

Father.

The sentence is over.

You can go out now.

I need something.

Say it.

The antidote.

You told me that Hua Rosemallow died right?

It's been three years.

You know what's going on better than me.

Of course.

Only you would do this for her.

Beat him with a rod.

All my fault.

Why do you punish him?

All my fault.

Please let my brother go.

You still have your brother in your heart.

I thought you had only her.

The emperor has been suspicious of me.

I tried so hard to ensure our family's stability and growth.

Do you know how much you have humiliated the royal family?

And what does it mean to our family?

Your Poetry Collection for Huaxi.

I should have punished you two separately.

But I punish him alone.

Do you know why?

Because now Pan Zhengyue is my biggest obstacle in Xiting.

I need you to fight against Pan Zhengyue in ten days with Yuande army.

To make atonement.

When he feels the pain, you will know family comes first.

Father.

Xiyan.

Marquis.

She doesn't look like Rong at all.

But she is as naughty as him.

Look, grandpa is so tired.

Come, have some water.

Come, sit.

Marquis.

We made a big fortune this time.

We earned 30% more than last year.

30%.

Great, over the past three years,

Wozhou becomes an important town in the Southwest from an obscure one.

You are talented in business.

Lady Huaxi died in Yuan Feibai's hands.

But before she died, she wrote me a letter.

She decribed the disaster in the Purple Garden in details.

The culprit is Hu Yong.

Hu Yong, how dare you!

Your Majesty, I am sorry.

Your Majesty.

Uncle.

And Yuan Qingjiang don't let it go so easily.

Now we know who is the culprit.

Uncle.

You need to make the decision.

We need to give family Yuan a good answer.

We can't trigger the war between the two countries because of him.

Listen.

Behead Hu Yong.

And take his head to Xidu.

Your Majesty, have mercy.

Your Majesty, have mercy.

Your Majesty, have mercy.

Your Majesty, I am sorry.

Your Majesty, have mercy.

Uncle.

Now everything is clear.

So my father is free now right?

Thank you, uncle?

Rong, go home.

Take care of your father.

Thank you, your Majesty.

Do you know what consequences there will be if we take her in?

Hua Rosemallow saved me more than one time.

And she gave me Xiyan.

She is your daughter in law.

She needs to stay with me no matter what.

Everyone knows she is Yuan Feibai's woman.

You want to stay with my son like this.

What do you want?

You want to bring troubles for my family?

Or you want to humiliate family Yuan?

Father, others think Hua Rosemallow died.

You think it's a matter of incognito?

If family Yuan knows this, what will they do to us?

Don't forget.

Your uncle is staring at us covetously.

But father...

The thing is, Wozhou is very poor now.

We can't stand any more storms.

Father.

Marquis.

I have something to say.

Rosemallow.

Say it.

You are right.

I can't bring you and People in Wozhou any troubles.

But I have no where to go now.

I need to stay here temporarily.

And I can help your family rise sharply.

To repay you.

You?

You are overestimating yourself.

I know you don't believe me now.

But please give me three months.

I can help you make a fortune.

Otherwise you can kill me, or whatever you like.

Even if Yuan Feibai gets out, he is no threat to us.

I have a spy around him.

Brother, don't worry.

Not for this.

Feibai disgraces princess Shuyi.

Father begs the emperor to grant eldest brother to marry her.

Princess Shuyi is prince Xuan's sister.

Till then how can we work for the crown prince?

It should be Yuan Feibai's marriage.

Why it comes to me?

What am I in father's eyes?

Not to mention, is anyone who marries the princess happy?

You are so insightful.

I thought, Yuan Feibai declined the marriage,

and lord Jin would imprison him forever.

I didn't expect he would come out so easily.

He is so important in lord Jin's heart.

Now my sister is going to marry Yuan Feiqing,

who sides with crown prince.

It means, they mess the princelings up.

Well, I will form an alliance with Yuan Feibai.

He is my best pawn to defeat crown prince

and counterbalance family Yuan.

Rosemallow, stay more days.

No, business is just like battlefields.

And we had the deal.

I will do the business and you will guard Jun's store in Nanguo.

If possible, I will come back in months.

Do you know how many times we see each other in these three years?

19 times.

Every time you come back, you just stay for 3 days or four.

And I can only see you for less than 2 hours.

I know you are not the money girl.

You do this because you want to avoid me, right?

Why do you say this?

In village Jun, I dressed myself as a woman for survival.

But why do I still have to dress up like a woman in Wozhou?

Because Hua Rosemallow died.

Jun Mowen is a man.

Whether a man or a woman, I just want to love you and protect you.

I have nothing to repay you.

I thought, you would fall in love with me

as long as you stay by my side.

But it's been three years.

Three years.

You don't love me.

And you even want to stay away from me.

You always take Poetry Collection for Huaxi with you.

It's really worth it?

Did you forget what he and his family did to you?

Yuerong.

I'm sorry for these three years.

But time will change everything.

Now he is spinning in my head.

For me, he is unforgettable.

What about me?

Needless to say, I know it.

Anyway, it's a heartbreaking answer.

Husband.

Where are you going?

It's not the first time we meet.

Please.

Please forgive me, I am busy with my work.

I have to go now, your Royal Highness.

I know.

Sisters used to bully you in childhood.

I still remember.

They dressed you up like a woman and threw you into water.

I ran to save you recklessly.

After that time, I became the laughing stock of my sisters.

It's nothing compared with my poor chilidhood.

Husband.

Why don't you hear me out?

I love you.

When I first saw you, I fell in love with you.

But why don't you look at me?

She handed me a handkerchief.

Also wiped tears for me.

I am very grateful to her.

But so what?

I fear women because of her and her sisters.

In this world, I hate all women except Feiyan.

What can I do?

Mountains and rivers are not as important as confidants.

You are my confidant.

Confidant.

Now our men are the main leaders of Linde.

Eastwing also has our men.

Westwing's darkmen are totally under my control.

Sir, it's the time.

The strength of Linde army is ten times that of the previous Westwing.

Not to mention Yuan Qingjiang.

We can't win over Yuan Feiqing.

Now Yuan Febai and his Yuande army go to deal with Dou Yinghua.

Only you have family Yuan's elite soldiers.

It's a good opportunity to provoke civil strife.

Zhang Demao, you have crossed the line.

Yes, I am sorry.

If Feibai wins this battle, his prestige will increase.

Aides and warriors will go to him.

Yuande overtakes Linde sooner or later.

What should we do?

Brother, don't worry.

Yuan Feibai won't win.

What do you mean?

As I know, Yuande's logistics encounters torrents.

So they can't have enough supplies.

Then soliders will feel insecure.

So the new supply will go to Linde army.

Young master, we have urged them.

But the supply still didn't come.

As I know, young master Feibai has a little problem.

I am here with supplies.

I hope I can be of any help.

Your Royal Highness.

So good to see you.

Thank you, your Royal Highness on behalf of all the army.

Actually it's just a little case.

But I am here to see you because

I have something important to discuss with you.

Yes, your Royal Highness.

To be honest, Princess Shuyi's marriage is my proposal.

I do this because I hope lord Jin could set you free.

I just didn't expect you would still love Lady Huaxi.

I am sorry.

I failed you.

If it's someone else, I will be so irritated.

You insisted on refusing the marriage.

It's kinda disgraceful for me.

But it's so admiring.

So I want to make friends with you.

Thank you, your Royal Highness.

It's my honor.

But my biggest wish is to be a carefree nobility.

And live a plain life.

As I know, Yuan Feiqing is at odds with you.

If they assist the crown prince to ascend the throne,

it will be so easy for them to ruin you and your army.

Just like the supply today.

So if I were you, I wouldn't let the crown prince win

no matter how much I want to stay aloof.

Your Royal Highness.

The eldest young master is having a meeting.

Well, please help me send the bird's nest to him.

Brother, you can't do this.

You should be good to princess Shuyi.

It's about the reputation of two families.

I know what I am doing.

Prince Xuan wants to form an alliance with me.

Because he wants to tell me I have no choice.

Eldest brother cooperates with the crown prince.

It means family Yuan will support the crown prince

rather than prince Xuan.

Once prince Xuan ascends the throne,

he will blame it on eldest brother, even my family.

I have no alternative.

I have to ally with prince Xuan.

So family Yuan won't be in a pickle.

If we can't win, the crown prince will make a big fuss and

drive us to the dead end.

Mr. Han.

No one wants to lose the battle.

Young master.

He wants to see you because he wants to fund you.

I am Mu Zonghe. Sorry for the interruption.

I have heard a lot about you.

Pleasure to see you.

I am a businessman.

I know, you are here for the war.

So I am here to offer a little help.

This is an advanced secret weapon.

And 100,000 bucks.

I hope you can win the war in Yuanzhou.

Why do you give me this?

Because your story with lady Huaxi is so touching.

So I want to offer a little help. I hope you can accept it.

Thank you.

Your Highness, bad news.

What happened?

Last night sand storm destroyed

all your nurseries in the past three years.

How could this happen?

Yesterday it was a greenland.

Sandstorm is getting worse recently.

The interval is getting shorter.

They must be messengers sent by the devil.

I am afraid we can't save these plants.

I planted it for three years.

Three years.

I thought it would become land.

I didn't expect the roots can't hold the soil at all.

No wonder sand is sand.

No wonder sandstorms are bigger.

The interval is getting shorter.

God wants to ruin Gongyue?

We can find more plants with strong roots.

I believe god helps those who help themselves.

Yes.

So in the end, these dwarf trees can't hold the sandy soil at all.

Only towering trees with well-developed

root systems can change the soil.

Towering trees.

Tree goddess in Golden Rose Garden.

Tree goddess, right?

But we have no seeds.

We have tried it for hundreds of years.

It's grafting?

Unfortunately, I didn't learn how to graft from her.

Only she can save Gongyue?

No, I can do it too.

I'm going to find more tree.

I believe I can.

Lord...

Good news.

We have a letter from Yuanzhou.

Young master Feibai defeated Dou Yinghua's 10,000 soldiers

with several thousand soliders.

Now Dou Yinghua left Yuanzhou.

Congratulations.

He is my son.

I know he can make it.

Lord.

Yuan Feibai regains Yuan Qingjiang's appreciation.

Now Yuande army has been expanded to 18,000.

So Yuande army needs more armaments.

You need to take more money.

Give all the money to young master Feibai except the necessary turnover.

But sir.

In recent years, we go thirty-seventy with marquis.

We don't have that much money for Yuande army's expense.

Change it to forty-sixty?

Rosemallow says, she can make more money than now.

You don't know why she changed it?

You think all of her, but she doesn't care about you.

Why are you so stubborn?

Come.

Now we are in a pickle.

Check this out.

This is an advanced secret weapon.

It can help you win the war in Yuanzhou.

Congratulations.

Mu Zonghe comes from Nanguo.

He is an ordinary rice wine merchant.

And the design is not ordinary.

Help me find out the designer.

I am afraid the result will hurt you.

What do you want to say?

No one knows what you have been through

in the dungeon over the past three years better than me.

You are born with silver spoon.

But you were locked in the abyss of darkness of despair.

It's all because Hua Rosemallow.

I beg you, let it go.

That woman betrayed you.

She doesn't deserve you.

Three years.

I suffered all these over the past three years.

Just because she is still in my heart.

Because I owe her an antidote.

I want to know everything about her every day.

I want to see her as soon as possible.

I live till now because of Hua Rosemallow.

Otherwise I would have died.

Young master.

You care about her so much.

Will she care about you likewise?

She cares about me.

I know she cares about me.

You need to find her.

And take care of her for me.

I beg you.

Yes.
