[Ep 26]

Hold on.

Soon we will be all right.

I feel so weak now.

Yes.

There is miasma in the northern mountains of Nanguo.

No.

It's miasma.

Why?

You are here?

Rosemallow.

Why are you here?

We found these dwarf tree seeds with strong root in the deep desert.

Rosemallow, let's plant it together.

You should go back to check the memorials.

You can't fail your mother.

Expanding the oasis for Gongyue is one of my work.

If I can't do it myself, how can I change Gongyue?

Come.

I the imposter deceive his sincere love.

Yao Biying...

You can't fail him.

Hope here will be lined with trees in the future.

Everyone listen.

In the search, don't disturb the people's normal life.

If I find anyone take people's money or wealth,

I will punish him severely.

Help those in need.

I will pay all the cost.

Yes.

Go.

You are not so cold-hearted.

My baby. Where is my baby?

No idea. -You took her away?

No... -Give my baby back.

Give my baby out.

Where is my baby?

The little baby is starved for so many days.

And she is stuck in the miasma.

How can you take care of her like this?

I didn't expect we would meet miasma. Give her back to me.

Give her back to us.

Give her back to us.

Go...

Give her back to us.

OMG, purple eyes, monster.

Monster, purple eyes.

Hey, who are you talking about?

Your bloody mouth.

Go to the hell, you are the monster.

Who are you talking about? You are the monster.

Who are you talking about?

No.

I will kill you...

Kill you.

Calm down.

Are you a dog?

You are so hideous.

Kill you.

Enough.

Kill you.

Stop.

My wife...

My wife has a short temper.

I am sorry.

I am the patriarch of village Jun.

Jun Shutao.

This lady has a thorn hairpin and a coarse skirt.

But I think she is very noble.

Between the eyebrows, she is very handsome.

Not like ordinary people.

She is a shrew, dad...

Who are you?

Where did you come from?

Patriarch. -Patriarch.

Hello villagers.

I...

My name is Mowen.

I have a poor family, so I have no surname.

She is my wife.

She is...

Her name is Chaozhu.

My hometown is on the war. We have no place to go.

We met the miasma on the road.

Thank you for helping us.

Thank you.

You are very polite.

Quite like an educated man.

Now wars are everywhere.

I think you are here for some special reasons.

People suffer all when in the prime or demise of a country.

Educated? Then why do you marry a shrew?

Purple eyes.

What are you talking about?

What's the problem?

My wife is from Western Regions. She is born with purple eyes.

She is not a monster.

Few outsiders would come here.

So they are afraid when they see her.

Fortunately, the tribe went up the mountain for herbs.

Otherwise you three will die.

My daughter Cuihua.

She is a wild girl.

She means no harm, I hope you won't mind.

Patriarch, we are outsiders.

It's normal that you are afraid when you see us.

But my wife has a poor health.

I hope we can stay here for a while.

After she recovers...

Dad, we can't keep them.

God knows where you come from.

So we just let them starve to death?

No, we can't.

How about this?

One uncle died in our village.

You can live in his house.

If you don't mind, you can live there.

You can leave after you recover.

Young master.

Lady Huaxi is not in there.

Did you search it carefully?

You checked every face?

Nanguo has wars on border.

There are less than a hundred people in the village.

We won't miss a single one.

Ok.

Here is my order.

Give half of our food to the villagers.

Young master, here is far away from the Central Plains.

And they are not our tribe.

We don't need to do that.

Their lives matter.

They have family and children.

Do as I say.

Just do it.

Yes.

I am trying my best.

Intelligence, general.

Guards of all gates say they find no people with purple eyes.

Here is my order.

Expand the scope now.

Investigate carefully.

Yes.

Here we are.

It's his house.

Thank you, brother.

You can go to the temple if you need me.

Usually I will be there.

By the way, what should I call you?

Just call me Ergou.

Jun Ergou.

Here in the village all people's surname is Jun.

Xiyan.

Come. Thank you, brother Ergou.

Well, I think we can get in now.

Thank you, brother Ergou.

How could you...

So...

Refined?

No...

Dignified?

No. So...

Lively.

Lewd.

Lewd?

What's lewd?

You told me to dress like a woman.

That's exactly what I am trying.

Not like this.

What do you mean?

I...

All the women I see in the palace are just like this.

I will teach you a good lesson.

So angry.

So dirty and broken.

How can anyone live here?

Stop complaining, clean it and we can have a good rest.

I think we can call some servants to clean here.

You are the servant.

I'm not a servant.

I am a woman now.

I won't do the labor work.

From the head to the toe, you are not like a woman at all.

I'm not like a woman?

Didn't you see the guy?

He is so infatuated with me.

That's because he is simple and ignorant.

He is still a teenager.

If you are so amazing,

make an example for me, ok?

I am a girl.

You still want me to dress like a woman?

Just make an example.

Look up, chest, buttocks up.

Lower.

Not lower your ass, I mean your head.

Butt up.

Up.

Chest up.

Up...

Up.

Orchid fingers.

Orchid fingers.

Be gentle.

Be gentle.

Be gentle.

Be gentle.

Bloody chicken feet.

Practice it a hundred times.

Enough?

Two hundred times.

Where are you going?

Do the cleaning.

So I don't need to clean?

And walk.

All right.

So pretty.

The bed looks so comfortable.

So warm, great.

I am so exhausted.

This is my house.

I won't exchange it with imperial palace.

You are satisfied?

You think here is better than palace?

You are crown prince Duan.

You are born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

I slept on grass and by latrine.

At that time I thought, if I couldn't change the environment.

I should make it more comfortable.

A clean environment is our savior.

And a picture, a bunch of flowers.

Flowers.

Red plum.

Pretty, huh?

The plum tree there is so great.

So I picked this bunch of plums here.

Beautiful, right?

It's been so long.

Why do I think of him when I see the plum?

Is it so beautiful?

No.

It reminds me of someone.

Time to take Xiyan for a walk.

Ok.

Take care of yourself.

Wait for me.

Promise me.

You will come back.

I promise you.

I will come back.

Go.

Go.

Go.

Go.

Brother.

Sister.

Sister.

Why are you here?

I didn't have the time to see you off last time.

This time you will go again.

It's brutal on the battlefield.

You should take good care of yourself.

Chuhua is waiting for you.

Sister.

You are my amulet.

For you and Chuhua, I will come back.

Brother.

Brother.

Here you are.

It's dangerous on the frontier.

I don't know when you can go back.

Brother, stay safe.

Yesterday, second brother did a good job.

The whole Purple Garden knows

you are lord's son in law in Westwing

In the future, the lord will appreciate your help.

Congratulations.

Sister, you finally make a career.

Now you move to Lirui tower and lady Feiyan is your wife.

I wonder if you still remember Rosemallow transcribed the books for you.

I never forget Rosemallow.

I can't have today without her.

In my heart, Rosemallow is the phoenix from the ashes.

I thought Rosemallow's blood sister would be as kind as her.

I didn't expect you would never be a phoenix.

Brother.

We are sworn brothers and sisters.

At that time, we didn't expect we would make a career.

But now only three of us.

We are doing great.

You don't need to be so hostile.

Listen to me.

If you two want to go higher in Purple Garden, you should cooperate.

Do you remember our oath?

Share the weal and woe together forever.

Xiaowuyi.

Today I need you to repeat our oath again.

Share the weal and woe together forever.

Remember.

Share the weal and woe together forever.

Bye.

Brother.

Take care.

Bye.

Take care.

Brother, take care.

Go.

Go.

I don't fight on the battlefield like big brother.

We have different aims.

From now on, we will go different ways.

What's Yuan Feibai?

It's been half a year.

Why your dad still can't forget him?

You should find a good man when you grow up.

Find someone who loves you and protects you.

You know?

Ok...

You really want to go against the patriarch?

No, I won't drive them away.

I just want to scare the purple eyes.

Go away, go.

Go...

You.

What? You want me to bite you again?

My father is confused, but I'm not confused.

You purple-eyed monster.

You will bring bad luck to us.

Go...

You don't have the final say.

Put the baby down.

I will challenge you a duel.

She needs me.

Challenge denied.

I can disfigure you.

Wait.

Stop...

We can have a nice talk.

You can stay.

She must go.

She is my wife.

If we cause any trouble for you, I will go with them.

But we will be so sorry for our baby.

You can stay.

But we won't support the idlers.

You need to work.

Ok, whatever I can do for you.

This is the brocade of the tribute of South Xinjiang.

Do you like it?

Yes.

If you like, those are...

Lord.

So great.

Lord.

I prepared the ginseng soup for you.

Thank you.

So pretty.

I remember you despise south Xinjiang's brocade, right?

You think it's not delicate right?

I am tired of the delicate silk.

I like these, my lord.

Ma'am, you have a good family background and you are the first wife.

You deserve satin with better quality.

My lord.

You should give me these.

Find better satins for sister.

Since you know to show respect to me,

please give these to me.

Thank you for your reminder.

The emperor conferred me with the title of ma'am Jin.

I need to help the lord relieve his concerns.

I won't ruin the lord's mood because of the gaffe.

You can take all these as you want.

Are you sure you not affected?

All right.

Lian.

You have lived here for many years.

You should be a generous hostess.

She is new here, don't be so angry with her.

Well, both of you go fifty-fifty.

Shi Qingpei. -Yes.

Send these satins to make new clothes for them.

Both of them have one.

Yes.

Thank you, lord.

Thank you, lord.

Lord.

I'm tired.

You can go back now.

Yes.

You are so eloquent just now.

Now you are obedient?

I was a little implusive just now.

I accept the punishment.

Yeah, I will punish you.

Stay with me at night.

Ma'am Lian.

Feiyan, I remember you like bright pink.

South Xinjiang tribute of brocade has your favorite color.

Your skin is so white.

Your husband will love your new embroidered brocade.

Really so beautiful?

I have seen all the good satins.

Even I like it.

I just got a half brocade from the lord.

You are his beloved daughter.

I think, he will give you the other half.

I have to go now.

I will let them make new clothes for me.

How many bowls have you eaten?

What happened?

I...

Are you ok? -I am fine.

Great.

Come, move it there.

Come. -Hurry.

Be careful, go.

Still more there.

Are you ok?

What's wrong?

You can't do it well.

Sorry.

Are you ok?

I'm fine.

I didn't have enough strength.

Come...

Forget it.

You should carry the water like the girls.

Yes, carry water with the girls.

How are you doing today?

Are you all right?

Sister Cuihua.

What's wrong?

She can't do this.

It's ok, I just need some rest.

You are a man.

Is there anything you can do?

You take him back.

Ok, go.

Go.

Stop.

Young master.

No trace of ma'am and Duan Yuerong in the village over there.

Go to the next village.

Keep looking. -Yes.

Young master, so many villages in the mountains.

It's like finding a needle in a haystack.

If I keep looking, I still have a glimmer of hope.

If I stop, she will be bullied by Duan Yuerong.

Go.

Go.

What happened?

Come in.

Why?

You are bleeding.

Hurry.

Sit here.

What's going on?

What did you do?

Why do you become like this?

No.

The poison is working.

Xiyan.

Here, wipe the blood first.

I will do it myself.

We are husband and wife.

Don't be so polite.

Come.

You are poisoned.

You still need to do the labor work every day.

I feel so bad.

We can leave here with Xiyan.

You want to leave?

Where are we going?

Then I can do the labor work.

I am a man after all.

Yes, you are a man.

But you have less strength than a woman.

If Hu Yong sees you outside, the whole village will be in danger.

You'd better stay here.

Run when something is wrong.

Anyway, they can't recognize me.

I won't do it.

I am hungry.

Do you have anything to eat?

Lucky you, I cooked today.

You will know what eating a ready-cooked meal is.

Streamed buns?

You did it?

I bought it.

You know I just learn how to cook.

I can't cook many dishes at once.

But I made a soup for you.

Coming.

Look.

My soup.

Looks good.

What is this?

Tofu skin?

No.

It's rag.

No wonder I couldn't find it all day.

It's here.

Fortunately, I have buns.

What's wrong? Let me tell you.

From today on, I will cook the best food for you.

I will see the baby.

Xiyan.

Rosemallow.

Do you think we are more like a family of three?

Yes.

We are a family of three, eating streamed buns.

Rosemallow, don't worry.

I will save you out of Duan Yuerong.

Wait for me.

Dad, mom.

Yuan Qingjiang knows my identity.

But don't worry.

I won't change my mind.

I will make him pay for what he did to you.

But Feiqing and Feiyan are sincere to me.

Please forgive me, I can't harm them.

After Yachuan, I become one of family Yuan.

Thank you, aunt.

Zhang Demao told you all.

When you got married, I betted you wouldn't kill Yuan Qingjiang.

I guessed it right.

You really want to show mercy on family Yuan?

Mercy?

Aunt.

I will be Yuan Qingjiang's first hand.

I will sow the discord in his family.

All the family will kill one another.

When Yuan Qingjiang sees his foundation be destroyed by his family.

Aunt.

I think this is a thorough revenge right?

You are tougher than me.

But before that, I need to win more trust from Yuan Qingjiang.

Then I will have more power.

So I hope you can give me more trust.

I will choose my own way.

Ok.

Seize more power with your identity and status.

Thank you, aunt.

Funny?

Xiyan.

Xiyan.

You get up.

Go, have breakfast.

The neighbor taught me this.

You should have a try.

Seems pretty good.

Of course.

Xiyan.

Say good morning. -Xiyan.

Morning, dad.

Xiyan, so good.

Where is red plum?

Red plum, withered.

So I replaced it.

I changed it to Nanguo's camellia.

We like camellia most.

It's big and fragrant.

And it has a longer flowering period than plum.

Do you think so?

Maybe.

Xiyan...

Mom.

Great.

Here, take this.

The camellia looks good.

But I prefer the aroma of red plum.

Aroma of red plum.

Mom is here.

Good girl.

Stop crying...

Look.

What are you doing?

A big man, why are you like a woman?

We all work here.

If you don't help them, you will be starved.

It's your decision to make.

Come, ready to sow.

I'm so tired after collecting the cabbages.

Now I need to sow.

Do we have bamboo here?

Mosquitoes? What mosquitoes?

Bamboo.

Do you want to sleep?

Do you want to sleep?

Mom can do housework at ease.

You.

Will wither one day.

She will forget you completely.

Xiyan, good girl.

Lady.

Lord made the new clothes for you.

As I know, south Xinjiang's new tribute, brocade has my favorite color.

The embroidery is very delicate.

Why father didn't make clothes for me with that?

Lady.

When I went to fetch the clothes, people were talking about it.

But...

Why stop?

Say it.

Lord rewarded it to ma'am Lian and ma'am Jin.

They are made.

Hua Jinxiu?

How can she wear it?

Ma'am.

You want to sow discord between me and Hua Jinxiu.

I am afraid I will fail you.

Ma'am.

Your new clothes is here.

You will look good with it.

Who did this?

Lian.

So ridiculous.
