[Ep 25]

Lord Jin, you got jade seal. Well done.

You are the most important official.

Except the throne,

I don't know what else I can reward you.

I'm kidding.

Why don't you laugh?

Your Majesty, I got the jade seal.

Hua Jinxiu and Song Minglei should take the most credit.

I think you can reward them.

Well, send them in.

Send Hua Jinxiu and Song Minglei in.

It's not a dream. It's true.

Your Majesty.

Raise your heads.

You are Hua Jinxiu?

Yes, your Majesty.

I remember you.

Lord Jin's second wife.

You are born with purple eyes.

You protected me in Biancheng's palace.

I didn't have the time to reward you.

Today I will reward you a hundred taels of gold.

I confer you the title of ma'am Ziyi.

Yi means sunrise in the east.

It means Purple Air comes from the east.

Thank you, your Majesty.

As for Mr. Song.

I can complete your wish.

Either gold or an official post.

Just name it.

Your Majesty.

I have nothing to ask for.

I hope I can have a marriage.

Lord Jin promised me to marry his daughter.

I want to give her an unforgettable wedding.

So I hope your Majesty could attend my wedding ceremony.

Great.

Here's my decree.

Song Minglei will marry Yuan's daughter in the palace.

Thank you, your Majesty.

Bloody Yuan, ruined my plan again.

Your Majesty.

You are blaming me. Your Majesty?

Premier Dou.

No offense.

No offense.

But at least I destoryed the late emperor's decree.

You are still the legal successor.

We don't need to be afraid of Yuan Qingjiang and Xuan Fuche.

If they want to fight against us, challenge accepted.

Premier Dou, you are right.

You are right.

My wife, ma'am Ziyi.

Today I will give you one hundred elite soldiers.

Their mission is to protect you.

They are called Fengde army.

In memory of the salvation in Fengding.

Hua Jinxiu, from today on, you are ma'am Ziyi.

You are the leader of family Yuan's Fengde army.

You are a master now.

No one will look down on you anymore.

If you don't avenge your parents and your clan,

they will follow you forever,

they won't rest in peace.

Husband.

I still think it's a dream.

I didn't expect that we would be husband and wife.

Yes.

We finally become husband and wife.

You, come here.

Duan Yuerong, born with purple eyes.

We can't let any men with purple eyes go.

Yes.

Come, let me see.

Go. -Ok.

What?

Hua Jinxiu is conferred with a title of ma'am Ziyi.

Lord even rewards her with an army.

Yes, this is the message from the capital.

Outrageous.

Pack up my things.

Today I will go to the capital.

Come...

Let's hide here for now.

So shabby here.

At least, we can stay here.

I will go to clean it, come.

What?

You can't even hold a baby?

I have no energy now.

But I am not so weak that I can't hold a baby.

Give it to me. -Who knows?

Where is the food? I want to eat some.

I lost it.

You.

Don't worry...

I will go to buy some now.

I will buy enough for you.

You even lost your money?

At least she is full.

Rest assured, I will find a way out.

She is hideous.

But she is pretty cute when she doesn't cry.

Nonsense, she is not hideous.

You are hideous.

Look at you.

What a good wife and mom.

I like it...

Well, I can be her father.

You are her mother.

Stop taking advantage of me.

After we get Nanguo, we should find a good family for her.

Come, hold her.

I don't want to take advantage of you at all.

You will stay by my side willingly.

Right?

Come in.

What? -Come in.

What's a big deal?

Don't cry...

What happened?

I find it's quite suitable for you.

Are you crazy?

It's for women.

Now they examine people thoroughly.

You dress up like a woman.

I will be a man.

We have a baby.

We the family go out of the city gate in public.

No way.

I am a man

I won't dress up like a woman.

What the hell?

The color is so sissy.

So tight.

It's so hard to be a woman.

Crown prince.

Are you fancying yourself?

Come in, I want to have a look.

Coming.

Coming.

I have said it.

I will take it off.

Who allow you to go?

Do you want to leave?

Yeah, of course.

I will give you a makeup tomorrow morning.

If someone knows you are a man, I will beat him.

I feel something missing.

Your tenderness.

Look.

What?

Be a woman, you need to be like this.

So gross.

More than that, it's so small?

Go.

Stop.

Sir.

Where do you come from?

Why do you go to Nanguo?

We are from Liangguo.

We want to see our relatives in Nanguo.

Relatives.

Go.

You, raise your head.

Me? -Yes.

Brother.

You make me so shy.

You are a shameless woman.

He is so vicious.

You use violence to your beautiful lady.

Such a bad man.

Come, drink medicine.

I will help you.

Be careful.

Let me hold her for a while.

You can't hold her all the time.

Stop it.

I am a woman now.

I am like a fairy.

You, come, we need to body check.

You turn around.

Go.

Come here.

What should we do?

I don't know if we could bluff it out again.

We need a check.

Ok, go.

Where are you going?

I am a Nanguoer.

I know the shortcuts that people don't know.

Follow me.

Be careful.

Protect her.

A good girl.

Come here.

Go. -Thank you, sir.

We might go the official road.

To see if we could bluff it out.

I am a Nanguoer.

We can choose the mountain road.

I am the local villain, I don't believe it.

Let's go.

Well.

I'm very familiar with the way here.

Over there is...

Raise your hand.

Bloody Hu Yong even blocked Nanguo's mountain road.

My home is just over there. But I can't go back.

He wants to force me to die in the wild mountain.

You, a Nanguo'er.

You know the way back right?

How can you tease me at this time?

What's the point of it?

Do you believe I will...

Yes, bite me, right?

You are the local villain.

Ok, you are so happy here.

Look, it's well guarded.

I can't bluff it out even if I dress myself like a woman.

If I can't get in, you will die too.

Now in the southwest, it's Hu Yong's soldiers.

In the east, Yuan's darkmen are chasing us.

If you want to survive, we need to go north.

Yes, we can go north.

Many mountains and fortresses there.

And my father's Wozhou is also over there.

Go...

Let's go now. Go.

One.

Two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Six.

Seven.

Stop.

Go on.

Yes.

One.

Two.

Brother Yu.

Chuhua, why are you here?

You are weak.

You need more rest.

I know you can't have good meals here.

So I made the meal for you.

Look.

You are so considerate.

I'll eat after I finish the drill.

Well, you should go back first.

Now the sun is too hot.

Your health can't get worse.

Ok, bye, brother Yu.

Brother Yu.

Remember to eat while it's warm.

Don't worry.

So tired.

Wow, it's...

General, you seem to have a good news.

What's wrong? You want more drill?

Go on with the drill, go.

We have a custom in our town.

If someone cooks a meal covered with red beans for you,

it means he wants to make love confession.

Chuhua...

Someone's here.

Stop.

Give me all your money and food before you go.

We are refugees.

We didn't have the time to bring the money with us.

No money? Why should I believe you?

I need a body check.

Stop, let go.

What are you doing?

Let her go.

Let me go.

Help... -Let me go.

Stop it.

Help.

Help. -Go.

Don't run.

I will smash you.

Stop it. Why do you fight against them?

Along the way, I didn't touch you.

How can I allow them to touch you?

I won't let that happen.

They are in dire need of food and shelter.

That's not what they want.

Let me tell you.

Men think about of it every minute and every moment.

You can leave it to me if it happens again.

Now I am a man.

No.

I am a man.

How can I fail to protect my woman?

There are many ways to show you are an amazing guy.

Many ways.

Yes.

I will feed you today.

I find you are such a good chef.

I find you grant whatever is requested.

Like a magic stick.

Brilliant.

The longer I know you, the more you are like a bee.

You may seem to sting like a bee.

But actually you are sweet like the honey.

Honey?

So gross.

What are you eating now? Is it edible?

Of course, have a try.

Recently he is starved and tired.

Now he is too weak to hold this.

If you don't want to eat, then don't eat.

How can you waste my food?

Take this tightly.

You eat first, I ate too much just now.

Well, we have food.

What about her?

Give her this.

What? Is she nervous?

We can feed her bird eggs.

Why?

She has little teeth now.

Yeah...

When did this happen?

Like two rice grains, so cute.

She is hideous.

But the more I look at her, the more I like her.

Well.

She followed us all along.

Do you think we should give her a name?

Then...

Call her Xiyan.

Xiyan?

Feijue.

I don't know your language.

I punched holes in this.

So you won't ask others for help.

In the future, I will give all the memorials holes.

Thank you.

What's wrong?

It's ok.

Do your work.

The state affairs matter.

What happened?

Those memorials are all about the problem of desertification.

Our greenbelt is reduced by more than a half.

People's lives are getting worse and worse.

So sad to hear that.

Guo Er'ren said.

If it goes on like this, Gongyue will be devoured

by desert in decades.

Here's my country.

What should my people do?

Different plants have different growth methods.

Like the beets, they are drought-resistant crops.

So we can add some sand in their soil.

Plants can grow in the desert?

Plenty of plants can.

For example, cistanche, baisuilan and orchid.

They can not only grow in the desert, but also intensify the soil.

I will go to the desert tomorrow to

find some plants to consolidate the soil.

We will plant them in a large area.

Maybe this can change the desertification.

But the desert is too dangerous.

As I know, the treasure is hidden under the palace.

It's very valuable.

It can turn wasteland into fertile land.

If we can find it...

Feijue.

It's all the rumors.

We should do something down-to-earth.

You are right.

I will tell them to prepare the horses and food.

We will go together tomorrow.

The emperor and Queen host a three-day state banquet

to welcome Yuan's ladies.

So I will serve you for three days in the palace.

You can tell me if you need any help.

Thank you.

Sister.

I know it's your first time to participate in the banquet.

I'm afraid you don't know the etiquette.

So I am here to help you.

Nice dress.

But how can you be empty-handed?

I don't know this.

I'll go back and prepare the gift.

It's too late.

I am so considerate.

It's all about our family's dignity.

Churui.

Take this cloak as the gift.

The chick feathers are so beautiful.

Thank you, sister.

Sister.

You can't talk nonsense when you present the gift.

It's eagle plume cloak.

It means wisdom and majesty.

If you say it's chick feather, you will ruin lord's reputation.

Sister.

Why did you forget the most important thing?

What are you playing at?

You don't know the etiquette or the rules?

We will be people's laughing stock.

Did I miss something?

Yeah.

No matter how high the chick flies, it's still the chick.

You will never be an eagle.

Duchess Jin, you mean this right?

Your Royal Highness.

Your Royal Highness.

Since Han Dynasty, all the royal families like fragrance.

Everywhere Tang's emperors go will be

covered with camphol or radix curcumae.

All the female officials will burn incenses or wear fragrance sachet.

As I know, you went to the battlefield.

You have many war exploits, right?

People have limited energy.

You focus most of the energy on battlefield like a man.

No wonder that you don't know.

For you.

Thank you, your Royal Highness.

Follow me from tomorrow on.

Be my bodyguard.

You still remember your revenge.

I am relieved.

Master is so brilliant.

He knew you wouldn't kill Yuan Qingjiang in Yachuan.

It's you.

Master spares no effort to help you climb up in family Yuan.

We hope you won't fail us.

In your heart, what am I?

A tool?

Or a pawn?

You are married.

What will your wife do then?

Yuan Qingjiang is Yuan Qingjiang.

She is different.

You are so love-struck.

You need to recognize who is your master after you follow me.

Otherwise many people can replace you.

Yes.

Fengding, why are you here?

Ma'am.

Lord is worried about you.

So he sent me here.

Don't call me ma'am.

I am just an ordinary girl.

Today finally I know they won't despise me after I have power.

But luckily, I met a good person.

It's imperial concubine Li.

I am very grateful to her.

She is a poor woman, too.

She had dystocia because of her son Benxiao.

Then she is infertile.

When she left Biancheng,

you gave her the two princes.

But when she fled, the two princes threw the baby away.

Because the crying baby will attract the pursuing forces.

Imperial concubine Li still doesn't know where he is.

How did you know this?

One of my fellows followed their carriage.

He told me.

Does imperial concubine know this?

So poor.

Admiral Yu Feiyan has many merits.

He is conferred with the title of general Vanguard.

He needs to go south and eliminate the rebels.

Yes.

Take it.

Chuhua.

Just sent lord back to Purple Garden.

Soon he sent the general to the frontier.

The emperor takes this measure.

I think he wants to weaken our military force.

My lord.

We need to take some precautions.

After the cunning hare is killed, the hound is boiled.

I never expected he would be different.

But he is so overhasty. He barely secures his throne.

I am afraid he will ruin the banquet.

I went to Nanguo this time.

I found they had some discord inside.

Duan Guangyi is really not involved in attacking Purple Garden.

Now he is busy with squashing the rebellion.

Now he has no time to collude with Dou.

My lord.

Now everything goes on smoothly.

Xuan Fuche is not an legal successor.

I think we should take initiative.

And I think we should take the throne back.

No.

Family Xuan has a deep foundation.

They have people's hearts.

If we launch attack suddenly, I am afraid we will lose people's heart.

Yeah, she is right.

Not now.

Father, I have a plan.

We can let out the message.

Xuan Fucheng's throne is not legal.

And he tries to suppress the heroes.

The rumors and gossips will go far and deep.

And during this time, we can hide our strength and bide our time.

And we can expand our military force.

A good plan.

That's all for today.

Go back quickly.

Otherwise Feiyan will blame me again.

Yes, father.

Brilliant.

He is a good talent.

But I don't know if he is loyal.

Guangqian, you are so enterprising.

I and Feiyan can come back to Purple Garden because of your help.

Thank you, brother.

Speaking of which.

You are married. I didn't say congratulations yet.

Brother, thank you.

How time flies.

Father gave me a kingfisher at 5.

That bird is so beautiful.

Feiyan came to see it every day.

I asked her if she liked it too.

But she shook her head.

Because she knew I liked it too.

Then I told her, I never liked it at all.

Then she took it away happily.

I know, Feiyan is the most important in your heart.

Rest assured.

I will take good care of her.

Glad to hear that.

You should take some credit for the battle in the palace.

And my marriage is cancelled.

Thank you.

We will help each other, I always remember this.

Congratulations, brother.

Finally you can get rid of the nightmare.

Yeah, I never forget the promise.

You are my great hand.

Why?

Why are you so good to me?

Come to my room tonight.

I have a gift for you.

Come in.

Chuhua, you are so beautiful.

Before you go, let me be your family.

I don't deserve this.

I love you.

I didn't love a girl before.

This love is not for sister.

But for wife.

But the more I love you, I can't ruin you.

It will be very dangerous.

It may last a long time. Maybe...

I can wait for you one year, or ten years.

If you can't come back, I will die with you.

Anyway we are destined to be together.

From now on you are mine.

I will protect you forever.

Rosemallow.

This is the military tactics my father taught me.

Brother, maybe you will need it.

Rosemallow?

How are you doing?

I miss you so much.

From today on, block all the information about Hua Rosemallow.

Go to tell Song Minglei.

She died.

Yes.
