[Ep 19]

Why do you show up till now?

After Hu Yong captured Purple Garden,

I was going to see you.

But I met a man in mask.

He said he would help me avoid Hu Yong's pursuit.

Then he hid me.

And I tried to countermine.

A man in mask?

He took me into a tunnel.

The tunnel is full of bends and curves.

With all kinds of traps.

I have worked in family Yuan for ten years.

I know there very well.

But I didn't expect the tunnel's existence.

Tunnel?

It's family Yuan's dark palace?

Treasures you are looking for may be related to the tunnel.

According to my knowledge, family Yuan sits on the treasure.

So they hid the treasure secretly.

I have been searching for the treasure.

Maybe one day it will help family Ming stage a comeback.

I though it was just a rumor.

I didn't expect their dark palace would really exist.

Young master Feibai.

Good to see you come back.

Young master Feibai.

Young master Feibai, what's wrong? -My mom.

Young master Feibai, my mom.

What's wrong? -My mom.

She died to protect me and Rosemallow.

Aunt Xie died?

Where is Aunt Xie now?

She...

Say it.

She is in Xifengyuan.

Young master Feibai.

Rosemallow volunteered to distract

the enemy as lady Feiyan's imposter.

I wanted to go with her.

She stopped me and gave me this.

She said the secret in this might help you save her.

Young master Feibai.

What's the secret?

Tell me, we can go to save her together.

Listen to me.

No secret in the hairpin.

She just doesn't hope you won't die with her.

Listen to me.

Go back to Xifengyuan and settle down.

Hu Yong is not far away from here.

I'll save Rosemallow.

All the craps.

I told you to inquire about Guangqian.

What have you got now?

I am sorry.

The back mountain is so big.

We have done our best.

Guangqian.

Where are you?

Where are you?

No.

I need to find you.

I must find you.

Lady Feiyan, no.

Out of my way.

It's dangerous outside.

Out of my way.

Very dangerous.

If you don't get out of my way,

you will step over my corpse.

Out of my way.

Lady Feiyan…

Duan Yuerong, get out.

Marshal.

Why are you so polite in the early morning?

You pay respects to me here with so many soldiers?

Crown prince Duan.

We fight in blood.

We catch Yuan Feiyan finally.

I don't mind that you take her in.

But you secretly released her back.

Tell me, what are you up to?

Since I take her in, she is mine.

I release her as long as I want to.

Marshal Hu.

Why are you so angry?

You have some unbelievable secret with her?

Stop talking nonsense.

When I followed the emperor to conquer the world,

you were unborn.

What is your relationship with Dou Yinghua?

How do you explain what's going on in Purple Garden?

Since you know everything

I will kill you today.

Incoming attack.

Yuan's army.

I didn't expect family Yuan would come so soon.

I'm afraid family Yuan doesn't know Hu Yong did all this alone.

And you have nothing to do with this.

Anyway, they will help us eliminate Hu Yong.

Let's go.

Go.

Young master Feibai.

We didn't find Hu Yong's corpse.

Catch him, alive or dead.

Yes.

Go...

On your knees.

General, have mercy, general.

Where is Hua Rosemallow?

Who is Hua Rosemallow?

I don't know.

Yuan Feiyan...

Crown prince Duan let her go.

Get up, go.

Chuhua, hold on.

We are nearly there.

Chuhua.

Chuhua...

Are you ok? Chuhua.

Come, water.

Young master Feibai.

Young master Feibai, did you find Rosemallow?

Suhui, Suhui, get up.

Mom, I am sorry, mom.

Mom.

Mom barred the door to save me and Rosemallow.

She told me to take Rosemallow to you safely.

But I failed her last wish.

I am sorry.

Aunt Xie. Aunt Xie.

Mom.

Aunt Xie.

You were thinking about me before you died.

I am sorry, I'm late.

Don't hurt her.

I know Yuan Feibai would come for you.

Yuan Feibai. Why are you here?

Go.

Who are you?

How do you feel sitting in a wheelchair for ten years?

Help!

Help!

What are you doing?

You are Ming Fengqing.

Yes.

Your family killed the whole Ming family.

I am the only survivor.

So do you think today's Purple Garden is just like MIng's castle?

You poisoned me.

I can tell you.

Even if people can come in the maze, they won't live to tell the story.

If you hurt her, you will be so dead.

You think I won't get out when I have you?

As I know, you give your concubine a nice nickname.

Lady Huaxi.

If I disfigure her face with the hairpin,

or she will be a real cripple.

No.

Will you still love her so much?

You.

Lead me to Yuan's treasure place.

Guangqian.

Jinxiu.

Where is this?

I can tell you.

It's a grotto in Yuan's legend.

Yuan's ancestor is God Dayuan.

The treasure is here?

I will tell you after you let her go.

If you don't want to see your concubine be tortured,

just put the treasure in my hands.

Young master, even if you tell her the treasure,

The crazy woman won't let you go.

I am just a... -The treasure...

Right here.

Young master.

Do not move.

Here is the safest place.

The stone chamber has a name.

Arrows heart-piercing.

Take my advice, don't take the risk.

Yuan Feibai.

I will make you pay.

You are injured.

Don't leave me.

Be my lady Huaxi forever.

Ok?

So what is Jiuxiu for you?

Sometimes we will have misunderstanding in the world.

I have told you, I did nothing wrong to you.

I will never forget Jinxiu is so passionately in love with you.

And so desperate.

You don't love her.

But why do hurt her?

Why do you marry her sister?

I am afriad I can't repay you for saving my life.

But.

Jiuxiu is my sister.

If I have to choose one between you and her,

I will choose Jinxiu definitely.

Please I want a divorce.

I want to leave Purple Garden forever.

I'm never sorry for Jinxiu.

I know.

You have every reason to hate me.

Sorry.

My love hurts you.

You help me stand up again.

You give me hope.

But I invited troubles for you.

Don't worry.

I won't invite you troubles again.

I give you the freedom.

Thank you, young master.

You are seriously injured.

You should leave after you recover.

I worry about you.

Ok.

Do you love me? If Jinxiu is not between you and me?

General.

Come in.

General.

YuFeiyan's background is recorded in the file.

It's the little secret between us.

Yes.

He is...

Congratulations, general Yu.

The emperor promoted you as general Huwei.

We hope you won't fail the lord and young master Feibai.

I will always be grateful to family Yuan.

My lord, we have a message from Xidu.

How is Purple Garden going?

Hu Yong withdrew.

Lady Feiyan is safe and sound.

Young master Feibai had no fight.

Feiyan.

If you hadn't defeated Pan Zhengyue,

Hu Yong wouldn't withdraw so soon.

You are so brave.

Now I can stay in the capital.

I am flattered.

Marshal Hu.

If we have Yuan Qingjiang's daughter, we can bargain with them.

We won't be like this.

Find her...

We need to find her no matter what.

Yes.

Jinxiu.

Miss Rosemallow, please don't move.

Otherwise, everything will be ruined.

Come.

Jinxiu, how are you feeling?

Rosemallow.

Is that you?

Ladies.

This is the medicine fountain of dark palace in Purple Garden.

Fountain water can help you recover.

Recovery matters.

You can talk in the fountain.

Young master Feibai.

Young master Feibai, what about his injury?

Young master Feibai is injured?

My master is helping him.

Young master Feibai lost too much blood.

But he is safe.

Sister.

How about your injury?

I am satisfied as long as you are fine.

But you are sad because of me.

According to Chuhua.

You fought against many soldiers to protect lady Feiyan.

My heart is still beating fast.

Good to know you're fine.

Second brother fell from the cliff because of me.

I don't know if he is still alive.

Sister Biying went to Western Regions.

I can't know anything about her.

I can't let another one leave me.

Jinxiu, good to know that you are alive.

Sister.

When you rushed down the mountain for lady Feiyan,

my head went blank.

I feel the world is collapsing.

I thought you had left the world.

I tried to kill more enemies to go with you.

The world without you is meaningless to me.

Mom, it's so dark here.

Don't be afraid.

My lord.

Stand up.

Feibai, don't be afraid, hold my hand.

Father.

Why is there a gruesome place like this in Purple Garden?

And why do you bring us here?

I have a story to tell you.

Two hundred years ago.

Two sworn brothers found a treasure.

The elder brother is smart but introverted.

So he built the dark palace.

He studies the mysteries of the treasure all his life.

The young brother has great ambitions.

He built a mansion on the treasure.

Because of the treasure, the young brother becomes a lord shortly.

And the whole family benenfits a lot from this till now.

The elder brother's surname is Sima.

The young brother's surname is Yuan.

Sima gave the name for the treasure.

Purple Mine.

For Purple Mine.

Sima's three generations tried to find out the secret.

But in vain.

And they have no descendants.

After their discussions, family Yuan needs to give family Sima a son.

According to 32-character mantra,

One of twin brothers is the true master of Jiuzhou.

I think, you are family Yuan's twin brothers.

So one of you should be here to guard the treasure.

And bless Jiuzhou.

Dad, mom.

I don't want to be separated from brother.

My lord, they are so little.

The old master died, so we need a new master for dark palace.

Dad.

I am willing to be the master here.

Are you sure?

Because he is afraid of darkness.

And I am his elder brother.

Great.

From today on.

I will declare Yuan Feidai dies.

And you will be Sima Ju.

From today on, you will be the master of dark palace.

You need to devote all your life to study the mystery of treasure.

Seek benefits for family Yuan.

And pray for the world.

You can't leave the palace without permission forever.

And you won't see the sun.

You will be the soul of the underground palace forever.

Yes.

Son.

Brother.

Brother.

Take Jinxiu away.

Leave here to me.

We...

We won't be together.

I will study the secret of purple mine here forever.

I will protect her in secret.

Because her future matters.

Feibai.

You and your Rosemallow...

We won't be together, either.

See we are in the similar situation.

Brother.

Do me a favor.

See her off tomorrow for me.

Jinxiu, I really regret.

Regret what?

I regret I didn't take you away when you wanted to leave.

Fortunately, you didn't take me away.

I have never dreamt of my current life before.

But now.

I want to go.

The bustling purple garden never belongs to us.

But I can't leave.

I know you don't care the wealth.

You have someone you care here.

Dongting's masterpiece in music.

Till death do us apart.

He is playing the Chinese lute.

I am not the one he wants.

Not everyone would be so lucky to grow grey with his love.

Not to mention.

He is your husband.

Nice.

Till death do us apart.

It's my first time to hear it.

My marriage with him is not what I want.

I don't love him.

And I won't forgive him.

Let alone grow old with him.

Sister, don't worry about me.

I will be so lucky if I could have someone to rely on.

You have been suffering for so many years.

You deserve a good life.

I hope you and young master Feibai could grow old together.

Not to mention, I have someone I want to share my life with.

It's the lord.

In this world, only the lord could protect me.

Sister, you are married.

Don't go.

Jinxiu.

I will never be with him again.

Sister.

This life is so long.

Don't say these so easily.

But if he fails you, I will kill him.

Jinxiu, it's not like that.

He...

Ladies, it's late now.

You need some rest. -Ok.

Jinxiu.

Let's go.

You go first.

I want to stay for a while.

Guangqian.

Guangqian.

Guangqian.

Guangqian.

Guangqian.

I'm so stupid.

People like you won't die so easily.

Crown prince, we have walked around

outside Xidu for a long time.

Why we still can't find shortcut back to Nanguo?

Meng Zhao.

You think I am disoriented?

No.

Just go.

Yes.

Ma'am, we have found young master.

The capital.

My brother proclaims himself the emperor.

The country is Xiting now.

He is challenging my Dongting.

Since the founding, the capital is Biancheng all the time.

That is just the late emperor's summer resort.

It's just an auxiliary capital.

He proclaims himself the emperor there.

He thinks he is the legal successor there? So ridiculous.

Fuyu usurped.

I was forced to become an emperor.

But all the people think I am not the rightful emperor.

Father meant to elect me as the crown prince.

But it's in chaos there.

Eunuch Zhang escaped with the imperial jade seal and decree.

If we find the jade seal and decree first,

will it be helpful to capture Biancheng?

Your majesty, rest assured.

I am searching for eunuch Zhang.

But you have claimed the throne.

Why do you fear others' nonsense?

Besides, in Biancheng they claim to have 100,000 troops.

Even if we find the jade seal and the decree,

we still can't force him to abdicate.

Capturing Biancheng is the only solution.

You are separated from your son for a while.

Yujiao.

Father. -Son.

I thought I would never see you again.

Son.

You are back.

Your mom has a bad sleep because of you.

Your Highness.

Prince Jin is in the carriage?

Did you see the little prince?

Only Benfu and Benche in the carriage.

No one else.

Think it again.

Will you remember it wrong?

I remember it correctly, your Highness.

Your Highness.

Take her back. -Yes.

I am afraid the little prince has died.

So poor.

If you hadn't fought desperately,

the emperor would die like the little prince.

But the emperor is not less suspicion of me than the late emperor.

Family Wang of warlords behind the Queen.

I'm afraid it will be the emperor's weapon

to contain my family in the future.

Indeed, the danger in capital is not less than that in Biancheng.

I can't bring peace to the country, but I can

make sure some people free from war.

People may think I coerce the country by seizing the emperor.

But I know what the righteousness means.

One day, I will let the world understand me.

We are done here.

It's time to go back.

I don't want to see the emperor become more suspicious.

He says, you don't care about wealth.

But at least you can live a better life with it.

I won't need so much.

Take it.

And this.

He told me to give you this.

He also said.

He will try his best to find the antidote for you

no matter where you are.

One day he will give you the true freedom.

If you really want to go.

Where is him?

I want to tell him.

Take care.

Jinxiu I am leaving.

This is my choice.

Since you decide to stay, good luck.

You should tell the lord that you want more than a concubine.

Be happy.

Rosemallow.

I have let everything go.

Why do you have to leave?
