[Ep 10]

Ami'er, if you can't defeat a woman,

you can't eat meat for half a year.

No, a year.

Be a vegetarian.

He is infuriated.

Ami'er is in disarray.

Ami'er is in disarray.

I knew you had a short temper.

Sister...

How is it going?

Hurry.

How's it going now?

Good news.

Good news.

Good news...

Yu Feiyan and Jinxiu move to the final.

Really? -Really, sister?

So good.

Xiaowuyi is awesome.

The winner is...

Wait.

Father.

Jinxiu's weapon is just broken.

She didn't lose.

She didn't lose.

I think she need to change the weapon.

I think she need to change the weapon.

It's not easy for a woman to come to the final.

Let them have some rest first.

End now.

Yes.

Both Yu Feiyan and Jinxiu are the champion of Purple Garden.

Sister.

The competition has never been so intense.

Both of them are the champion.

They are so great.

All because of Lirui tower.

Your Eastwing has 5 consecutive victories.

You have so many talents.

So after the competition, it's time for examination.

This year's topic is...

The theory of the world.

Here is the same hourglass.

Rosemallow. You are so amazing.

You know lord Yuan will give the question about the military strategy.

Ang give the military book to second brother.

I checked the previous examination.

I checked the previous examination.

Lord Yuan likes the military strategy.

So I remember dad...

Dad taught me some military strategies.

I am just a girl, how could I know these?

Second brother has great ambitions.

I am trying to offer a little help.

I am trying to offer a little help.

Song Minglei.

Yes.

Your paper?

Yes, my lord.

Yes, my lord.

Read it out loud.

Yes.

[Excerpts from Jiangyuan]

How dare you!

Have him whipped to death. -Yes.

Second brother.

Brother. -Sister.

Father.

Father.

Song Minglei has a good reason.

Guangqian, say it.

Lord, I am trying to discuss how to lead troops.

Lord, where am I wrong?

The paper.

You are telling me to rule the country with military power.

Right?

Lord, listen to me.

In the late of previous dynasty,

General Li Mang held military power.

He was so immoral to declare him a king.

He was so immoral to declare him a king.

According to the historians,

he is a brutal and treacherous usurper.

The old lord Yuan holds military power.

But he leads his army with benevolence and righteousness.

Historian praised, old lord Yuan is a good general.

Historian praised, old lord Yuan is a good general.

He is good, sincere and fair to people.

I am not Li Mang.

Old lord Yuan is my ancestor, not me.

History repeats itself.

Li Mang holds the same military power as the old lord Yuan.

One is infamous in history.

Another is admired by the generations to come.

It's not because of military power.

but the popularity.

The ruler will be deserted if he loses the people's heart.

The ruler will be deserted if he loses the people's heart.

The ruler will be respected if he is benevolent and righteous.

The ruler will be respected if he is benevolent and righteous.

So the military power is not so important

as the ruler's temperament.

If you still I am wrong, you can kill me now.

Even if I kill you, you still have no complaints or regrets.

It's your decision to make.

But my brother and sister, they are innocent.

Please let them go.

You can sentence me to death.

Great, the military power is not as important as the ruler's temperament.

It matters to win people's heart.

Song Minglei.

Song Minglei, Xiaowuyi.

I will remember you.

Get up.

Thank you, my lord.

The winner is Song Minglei from Westwing.

That's all for Purple Garden's competition.

Yu Feiyan.

Yes.

You can attend the imperial martial arts election in capital.

Thank you, my lord.

Song Minglei.

Yes.

You will be my assistant.

Thank you, my lord.

Hua Jinxiu.

Yes.

I will reward you 100 taels of silver ingot.

Thank you, my lord.

My lord, lady Feiyan.

I can't go to the final without Xiangqin.

I think half of the reward should go to her.

Perseverant and tolerant.

Just like you said.

Dismiss.

Thank you, my lord.

Two of the top 3 come from Lirui tower and Weswing.

Feiyan, brilliant.

Thank you, father.

Thank you, father.

I am your daugther, it's my duty.

Feiqing.

Father.

Song Minglei is a talent.

You have sharp eyes.

Thank you, father. You are more insightful.

I have told my brother, Song Minglei is the future of Westwing.

Go.

Top three...

Top three...

Top three...

Rosemallow is right.

Hurry, go back to tell the good news.

Go...

Go...

My lord.

This is all I know.

This is all I know.

Miss Rosemallow is an erudite girl.

I got it, you can go now.

Yes.

The head of Six Sons.

I didn't expect...

Lord.

he would give Xiaowuyi the important post.

Lord even praised Yuan Feiyan.

Lord even praised Yuan Feiyan.

She stands on Yuan Feiqing's side to seize Westwing firmly.

Westwing belongs to my baby.

Ma'am.

Actually, lady Yuan Feiyan is old enough to get married.

Prepare the ink and paper.

I need to write a letter to my sister.

Yes.

You are all here.

Chuhua, why are you here?

Congratulations. Top 3.

Congratulations. Top 3.

I bought the wine for the celebration.

Come, sit down.

Come, sit down.

Look, we are running out of the wine.

Sister. Your wine comes right on time.

Come, sit...

Come, Chuhua, sit.

Sister, look.

Such a big jar of wine.

Yeah, we have wine now.

Yeah, we have wine now.

I didn't expect you three would take top 3.

Me too. I never dreamt to make 50 taels of silver.

50 taels of silver.

Jinxiu, you have so much money.

Jinxiu, you have so much money.

So how will you spend it?

If it were me, I would buy a lot of satin silk and rouge.

I will be well dressed.

Enough of you.

What a pity, Jinxiu is a girl.

Otherwise, she can go to attend the imperial election with brother Yu.

Yeah, if she were a boy, she would win the election.

Second brother, I like your paper.

I need to thank Rosemallow.

I need to thank Rosemallow.

Rosemallow, you should win the first place.

Second brother, you can elaborate your theories so well.

I really can't outcompete you.

Now you are the lord's assistant.

Soon, you will be promoted as Sheren.

Soon, you will be promoted as Sheren.

What's Sheren?

A little lower than military counsellor.

Soon he can be the strategist.

Yeah. -Yeah.

Jinxiu.

Jinxiu, why are you here?

Are you all right?

Rosemallow.

Do you think I am diligent?

Yeah, you are very diligent,

So you could win the competition.

Yes.

Just 50 taels of silver.

At most, I will be a senior warrior.

Brothers become the winners because of you.

You even take out Jiangyuan that I don't know.

But you are still a labor worker.

So we sisters have to live like this forever?

Jinxiu, it's ok.

As long as we live, tomorrow will be better than today.

But this is not what I want.

I don't want to live like this.

I don't want to live like this...

Jinxiu.

I am here to tell you.

I won the competition.

I still want to tell you.

So what when I win the competition?

I still don't know where my future's heading.

Today, you still didn't come.

Why? Except here.

You have to pretend we are strangers everywhere else.

Or you have forgotten me?

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Duke Zhuang came here with his duchess earlier on.

The duchess told me her son is old enough to get married.

So she hopes you could grant him a marriage.

He was only 8 ten years old.

Now he is old enough to get married?

Yes.

Yes.

How time flies!

I have a good recommendation.

Yuan Qingjiang's daughter. Yuan Feiyan.

She is not my sister's daughter.

But she is dignified and beautiful enough to marry him.

Yeah, wonderful.

Since Fuyu's imperial concubine died, he has been alone.

Fuche has three sons and four daughters.

But Fuyu has no children.

I think she is a good choice for Fuyu.

You are right, your Majesty.

You are very busy.

I will leave you be now.

I will leave you be now.

The Queen thinks so much for me.

What a matchmaker!

What a matchmaker!

Your majesty, I don't understand.

Fuyu is not the Queen's son, but he is courteous and humble.

Now he is old enough to get married.

Now he is old enough to get married.

If he and Yuan Feiyan get married,

it can form a good relationship between family Dou and family Yuan.

Yes, your Majesty.

I want to eat more midnight snacks in the imperial study.

When will Yuan and Dou stop making troubles for me?

When will Yuan and Dou stop making troubles for me?

So annoying.

Your Majesty.

I have 100,000 soldiers.

I have the trust from prince III and the Queen.

His Majesty has been casting covetous eyes on me for years.

After your brother comes back,

his Majesty is more suspicious of me.

Why do you tell me this?

Today, I got an imperial decree.

You need to marry prince IV Xuan Fuyu.

Father.

Are you serious?

Prince IV can be my father.

How can you let me marry him?

We are all kids without moms.

Why should my brother and I sacrifice so much?

Father, you are so partial to Yuan Feibai.

His mom is the bloody maid.

How dare you!

Slap me.

In your eyes, I am your pawn or an orphan?

Three birds with one arrow, brilliant.

Your Majesty.

You are posing me a great challenge.

Yes.

His Majesty grants the marriage.

In fact, he is sowing discord between you and prince III,

and prince IV and Dou Yinghua.

And he also knows if you are loyal to him or prince III.

I'm sorry for Feiyan.

The imperial election is coming.

At this time, the emperor grants the marriage.

The Queen intentionally induces Dou Yinghua

to suspect us and Yuan Qingjiang.

Brother.

What should we do?

Sister.

Now there is no point having a cold war with the Queen.

It's time to take action.

Yeah, we can't wait any longer.

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom each year.

So great.

Yeah. Look.

Yeah. Look.

So lovely. -Yeah.

So happy to work here.

Fantastic.

Look over there.

Great...

Young master IV.

We should stay away from him.

We should stay away from him.

It's not a big deal if we get lost.

It's not a big deal if we get lost.

He is deranged.

So scary.

So scary.

Physical punishment will be better.

If you are his concubine, you have to go to Gongyuan.

It's far from here.

Can't be seen.

Sophora flower.

Finally we meet again.

Young master, you still remember me.

You are here not to seek revenge right?

I won't bully women.

You smell so great.

Young master.

See, the green plums are so great.

So he is not the loss of direction guy.

But his eyes has serious problems.

Poor guy.

Let's go.

Now you can tell me your name, right?

My name is like the cherry blossom.

My name is Hua Rosemallow.

Rosemallow has the similar color with cherry blossom.

Pink.

So can you remember?

Where do you work?

I am a labor worker.

Young master Jue.

Young master Jue. Wake up.

Are you ok? Young master Jue.

Young master Jue.

Rosemallow.

Why did you take a man back?

He is young master Jue.

I don't know why he fainted.

So I take him back.

If something happens to him here, we will be whipped to death.

My lady.

You're here.

So is there anything I can do for you?

Today I have an imperial decree. I need to marry prince IV.

Then...

Congratulations.

But from the day you saved me, I have only you in my eyes.

I lost my mother since childhood.

My father often went to the battlefield.

My brother was a hostage in the capital when he was little.

I have been patronized since childhood, but I have no home.

All I want is to find someone I love and have a home.

And I meet you. -My lady.

I think I have no time to lose. -My lady.

We can't talk about this now.

Well.

I will be waiting for you tonight in Lirui tower.

Who's there?

Follow me again.

With all due respect.

Young master Jue.

If you don't mind, eat this with water.

Take your time.

It's edible?

I have said, eat with water slowly.

Who?

Young master Jue.

You.

Rosemallow.

Young master Jue, she is my sister Biying.

Biying has a poor health.

You will scare her.

Guo Er'ren, here you are.

I won't go.

You won't go.

I will tell Biying to see lady Yuan Feiyan.

Or I should tell Yuan Qingjiang about Biying's background?

How dare you!

If you kill me, there are many people out there to replace me.

Thank you, sir.

Young master IV.

Please don't go to see them again.

Today they saved you.

You can repay her in the future.

She is best to me.

I know she is a unique girl.

Even lord begins to keep an eye on her.

Even lord begins to keep an eye on her.

She doesn't belong to anyone's side now.

Before you can protect yourself, please stay away from her.

Aren't you tired?

Aren't you tired?

Young master IV.

We are here to learn something.

One day we will go back to Gongyue.

One day we will go back to Gongyue.

So before this, don't make more troubles.

Did you hear that?

Did you hear that?

Go, do more practice.

Did you hear that?

You know what,

When I first met second brother, I thought he was so different.

Then Lord Yuan likes him.

Then Lord Yuan likes him.

Take the tonic medicine.

I need to prepare the dinner now.

Second brother, here you are.

You come right on time.

Biying is going to take medicine.

I'll leave here to you.

I need to prepare dinner.

Thank you, second brother.

What happened?

Second brother.

I made the shoes for you.

It's ok.

You shouldn't do this.

No, I am happy to do something for you.

Look, I embroidered the clouds on the soles.

Look, I embroidered the clouds on the soles.

I will give you the best life.

Second brother.

Why don't you spend more time with Biying?

I have to go now.

But Biying really needs you.

Biying will always be my good sister.

Rosemallow, you and Biying stay safe.

Bye.

Ok.
