[New Horizon]

[Episode 35]

Miss Wu Di.

Xia Yu.

Where did you get this?

Get in.

Returning to your old career?

Where would you take me?

Today I will show you around Paris.

OK. Let's go.

Let's go.

Let's go.

It's so cold.

Right?

It's cold in Paris now.

Luckily,

there's everything in my trunk.

You are so well-equipped.

Why do you want to

do the sightseeing cycling today?

Because

this is your last time in Paris.

So I want to give you

some special memories.

In the future, I can

still come to Paris.

I mean that as a pilot,

this is your last time in Paris.

That's true.

Fine.

Since then,

let's do something special.

OK. I will accompany you.

Let's go.

The weather is good.

It's not busy now in the airport.

So we don't need to wait for the landing.

It's perfect.

Next

it's time for my show.

Captain Lu,

can I complete

this landing as well?

Wu Di, aren't you a little bit

greedy?

On my plane,

the co-captain cannot even

do the take-off.

This landing

is quite risky.

I think it's better for me to do it.

Captain Lu, bring the story to a happy ending.

You have let Wu Di make the take-off.

Why not let her complete the landing as well?

I have owed you once.

It doesn't matter if I owe you twice.

Let me tell you.

What I will repay you back

is more than what you gave me.

It sounds like a good bargain.

Then you can do it.

It's the last time anyway.

You can control the plane.

I can control the plane.

That's great.

Thank you, Captain Lu.

Thank you, Xia Yu.

No bother.

It's almost time

for me to go back home and accompany my family.

I'll leave it to you.

I'm leaving.

Bye-bye.

[Dispatch room]

Here.

Wu Di has decided to stay.

Wu Di stays

because of her love for flight.

In Paris,

I could feel

that she was reluctant to leave.

Then you'd better

take after her well.

So you just give up?

I know you want to go to East China Sea Airlines.

Don't go. Just stay.

Air Genial needs you.

Wu Di also needs you.

My leaving

will makes her better.

Are you willing to leave Wu Di?

I have to.

In the future,

please take after her.

Uncle Xia.

I'm aged now.

I don't have so much strength.

Otherwise,

I must have a fight with you.

What?

The favorite sport

that your father and I have

was not boxing

but climbing.

We climbed to the highest, looked down,

looked at the ground under our feet,

and discussed our ambition

and dreams.

Your father and I

did discuss

the operation of the airline company.

We all thought

that it should be someone

that knows how to fly learning how to manage.

Unfortunately,

your father and I

didn't realize this dream.

But since

you and Xia Yu are so close,

I hope you two

can jointly realize

the dream of your father and me.

Uncle Xia,

you come here to say this to me?

Yes.

I still don't want you to leave.

Actually,

Xia Yu knows how to fly

and how to operate.

He can do this alone.

My part

is not that important.

Fine.

Whatever decision you make,

you have me on your side.

But I still want you

to reconsider.

OK. I will reconsider.

How is

the matter of air destination going?

Just the report of Hangzhou is missing.

Why we are still waiting?

It's such a long time.

Your efficiency is so poor.

I see, President Lei.

But I have to

do things according to the procedure.

To protect the shareholders'

the long-term interests,

we can't make cursory decisions.

What's wrong with obeying the rules?

Fine.

Let's listen to President.

President,

in one of our flights,

the first-class passenger...

Speak loudly if there's something happening,

since everyone here is the insider.

In one of our flights,

the first-class passengers

had collective food poisoning.

The situation is getting severe.

I'm afraid emergent handling is needed.

Come and comfort them at once.

OK.

Liu Quan,

I want you to establish a panel

to handle this thing.

OK.

Wait, Liu Quan.

Lei, any suggestions?

President,

Liu Quan

is working on the air destination matter.

He is already occupied.

President, in my opinion,

since you want to train Xia Yu

as your successor,

handling the emergency

is a skill

he must master.

Sending him to handle this

is a great opportunity for him.

What do you think?

Xia Yu is not well-experienced.

Besides, there's something else

to be done.

No one born experienced.

The experience

is accumulated little by little,

right?

Then it's settled.

Xia Yu,

what do you think?

I thank President Lei

for giving me such a good chance to show my ability.

I will live up to your expectation

and complete the mission.

Look at him.

Why don't you

get the office secretary for this thing?

It makes me look like your errand boy.

Aren't you?

Everyone says that.

How dare you?

Just kidding.

Just kidding.

Let me tell you

now in our company, who is spying for whom

remains uncertain.

I must rely on you,

my brother, for such an important thing.

Who are you?

Hello,

we're the representatives of Air Genial.

On behalf of Air Genial,

we're here to visit Mr. Xie.

Sorry.

Mr. Xie doesn't want to see guests.

He also won't accept

the apology from Air Genial.

Mr. Xie

is sure to claim compensation

and seek responsibility.

Soon you will receive

the lawyer's letter.

Please go back.

Then we will go back now.

We hope that he could recover soon.

Thank you.

Come on. Here, here.

Come on.

Mr. Xia, Mr. Xia.

Does the Air Genial

use expired food

in order to save money?

Does the Air Genial

try to use money to cover the fact?

Is the Air Genial

sincere enough

to confess its fault?

This thing is investigating now.

Before the result coming out,

I have nothing to tell.

Besides, do you have any proof

to draw the conclusion?

Just like this?

Just like this.

It's nothing of essence.

You can speak louder.

If Air Genial

is responsible for this matter,

we will take our responsibility.

Thank you.

OK. Stop following us.

The fruits are so good.

It won't hurt if we eat them.

Let's eat them all.

The imported fruits.

You have no share for the imported fruits.

Tao Tao.

You are so mean.

So many fruits.

I can take them all?

We two can share them.

I don't know you can also display love.

The moral degeneration is getting worse now.

Luo Dong,

where's Xia Yu?

Xia Yu is upset

and goes to fly the small plane.

You see. The airline meal

is produced and managed uniformly.

Nothing happened in other planes that day,

except this one.

But I've heard that someone

has investigated the airline meals' production

transportation and storage.

It's said that nothing wrong happened.

But we still don't know

what was the cause now.

However,

yesterday, one of my friends

has refunded

the air ticket of our company.

I think

no matter we made the mistake or not,

this matter has influenced

the image

of our Air Genial.

This is the first time

that I don't envy Xia Yu.

He has to make apologies

and deal with shareholders and the media.

It looks quite horrible to me.

People like Xia Yu

would feel worse than death.

Look.

The person who knows Xia Yu best

is here.

You are jealous.

Fine. I take a honeydew melon.

Thank you.

You guys...

What happened today?

It's way too rare to see you do this.

It doesn't look tasty.

Doesn't matter.

If you cook more, you will do better.

OK. Here, Dad.

Take it.

OK?

OK.

Let's see how's your cooking level

and whether you've made any progress.

Sorry, Dad.

I made things worse again.

What's wrong?

In all these years,

I watch you managing the company.

I thought it was easy,

but it is not.

I start to respect you.

Do you just start to respect me?

Let me tell you a tip.

OK. What tip?

It's four words.

Things won't be done merely by one person.

What does that mean?

The Air Genial

is a big group.

It's impossible

to manage it alone.

I rely on

partners who share

same opinions with me.

You mean Lei Chen?

Lei Chen does have some selfish motives.

But

in the aspect of the ability,

you still have a lot

to learn from him.

It's not only Lei Chen.

Gao Kai, Liu Quan, Lin Liang,

those people

are all great partners of mine.

I do envy you.

There is someone like that around you.

Xiao Mo?

I know you mean him.

Luckily I'm your son.

If I were a girl,

I'm afraid you would

make me marry him.

It sounds great.

Unfortunately,

you are both boys.

You can only be brothers.

Dad,

I am me and you are you.

Please don't impose the brotherhood

of the old generation

on our generation.

OK?

Xiao Mo and you

are both very fond of flying

and capable.

I feel regrettable

about Xiao Mo's leaving.

But I think

if there's any chance,

you can cooperate once.

I can't say yes

for Xiao Mo.

But why are you

so confident with me?

Whether I'm confident with you,

you are more than confident

with yourself.

You are my son

and I'm your father.

Don't I know you?

You just want me

to praise you more.

So you say that on purpose,

right?

Everyone wants to be encouraged.

It's nice to encourage people.

Dad,

how's the noodles?

It's better than the last time.

Keep cooking.

You can cook noodles for me tomorrow.

OK?

OK.

Pay attention to the meal

and the drinks.

Please check and check again.

OK.

Can I have a cup of water?

Sure.

Thank you.

I took so much effort to become a purser

but encountered

this case of food poisoning.

I'm so unlucky.

Don't worry.

The investigation is not over yet.

It may not be

about the airline meal.

But there are only four passengers

in the first-class cabin that day.

And they all fell down.

It's hard to imagine

that it has nothing to do with our meals.

But I did everything as the procedure.

If the food was expired,

I must have found out.

I can't figure out

what was going wrong.

Did the four passengers

know each other?

Yes.

I remember they were together.

Right.

One flight attendant ate the remaining

meal from the first-class cabin that day.

But she was fine.

But this thing

is not solid enough as proof.

Yes.

Let me think about it.

[Administrative Building]

Try to find a way

to suppress the negative news

and win Xia Yu some time.

Let him figure this thing out.

Don't worry.

I have said

to my friends of media.

President.

Xiao Mo.

President,

I have some new information

that may be helpful.

Great.

Do you have other things

to do?

No.

Go ahead with your business.

OK.

Get in the car. Let's talk there.

OK.

I have heard

that you have taken back

the resignation letter.

Yes.

That's great.

To be honest,

I didn't think

very good of you.

I thought it was not serious

for you to learn flying.

Actually, I held the idea

of preparing for flying for the last time.

But when I faced

my heart,

I found that I still love flying.

I don't want to leave the sky.

After hearing from you,

I think Xiao Mo's resignation

is worthwhile.

Xiao Mo wants to resign?

Don't you know it?

Xiao Mo has proposed the resignation

to President.

He will transfer to East China Sea Airlines.

Xiao Mo will go to East China Sea Airlines?

Please read this news.

Our flight

was from Harbin to Shenzhen

and had a stopover in Hangzhou.

The four first-class passengers

went aboard in Hangzhou.

So we just need to check

the consumption record of these four

and check whether they

had meals in this hotel.

If they did,

it can prove

that our airline meals

were good.

I see.

So you really don't know?

This time, Xiao Mo

has made up his mind

to leave you.

Also,

if two captains are in love,

you must bear enormous pressure.

Luo Dong and I

always have quarrels over this.

Do you know

when will Xiao Mo leave?

Soon.

I've heard East China Sea Airlines

has sent him an offer.

Good. Well done.

Inform Xia Yu immediately

to let them investigate.

I will tell him.

Don't worry.

Xiao Mo,

Xiao Mo does things driven by momentum.

And you are

rather calm

and you consider things thoroughly.

If you can stay,

you two are complemental.

In fact, in many aspects,

Xiao Yu and I

are more like rivals than partners.

You two

are born to be brothers.

It's destined.

It's just

that you two haven't realized yet.

Dad, I made it.

I can finally fly the plane.

Good boy.

I do feel

proud of you.

Letting every child

who dreams of flying be able to fly

is a bigger dream.

It's your turn now.

Xiao Mo.

My God. You wake up.

Thank God.

Sister, I'm fine.

You scared me.

You were just lying here

in a coma.

I didn't even dare to tell Aunty.

Don't tell her.

Right.

How is Uncle Xia?

Where is he?

Does he hurt badly?

President Xia

didn't make it.

President Lei.

I think you already know

what happened to President.

It happened so suddenly.

It's really sad.

So sudden.

As the Vice-chairman of the board of directors,

on behalf of all the shareholders,

I have given Xia Yu

our sincere greeting.

Everyone,

President Xia is gone,

but the business of our company

has to operate

normally.

I think in this very time,

President Lei should stand out

and preside over.

The first thing we should handle

is President's funeral arrangements.

Xia Yu is the only son

of President.

At this time,

we all should

do our best to help him.

Gao Kai,

establish a panel

to help Xia Yu handle the issues.

As for President's matter

and the food poisoning case,

we will hold a press conference.

We'd better prepare for it ahead.

OK.

President Lei, so what about

the case

we're dealing with now?

Surely we need to wait

until the official conformation of President's

the stock equity and the right of inheritance,

and leave the case for the new president

to handle.

Indeed.

In the normal case,

that's the right process.

But I think

if the case we're dealing with now

is rather urgent

and is involved

with the major interests

of Air Genial,

I believe

it should be handled according to the situation.

We should analyze the problem on specific situation.

Right, President Li is right.

But if we do things like this...

Why are we still arguing at this time?

At this time,

the first thing we should do

is to stabilize the moods

of our employees

to guarantee the company's normal operation.

Nothing can

influence the image of our company,

which may let the public

lose faith

in Air Genial.

Understand.

That's right.

Yes.

Good.

I've got something.

Is that from Xia Yu?

No.

It's from the company. It said everything is normal.

Another business thing.

Can't they be more sympathetic?

Yes.

Xia Yu is so pitiful.

Losing his parents,

what should he do in the future?

He's really pitiful.

But this time,

can Xia Yu inherit

the position of the president?

What are you saying?

We should

accept the fact as well.

But how is Xia Yu

now?

I have heard from Wu Di

that she kept phoning

but Xia Yu refused to answer it.

Xiao Mo is still in a coma.

The misfortunes never come singly.

Finally there is a piece of good news.

What is that?

Xia Mo is awake.

Really?

That's great.

Don't worry, dear.

Don't be so nervous.

The doctor said

that Xiao Mo is badly hurt,

but he is in good health,

and no internal organ is hurt,

which will do no harm to flying.

Don't worry.

That's lucky.

Everything was fine the other day.

And suddenly

he almost lost his life.

So horrible.

Yes.

We have to

see through it.

If we want to do something, just do it.

It shouldn't be left for tomorrow.

We need to live in the present.

You're right.

So I think

I should adopt

Xiao Fei Fei.

Dear, the thing of Xiao Fei Fei

is settled, isn't it?

We've decided to give each other

six months to consider.

Didn't you just say

we need to live in the present?

You don't want to have a baby with me.

If I don't

adopt a child myself,

and if something bad happens in me,

I cannot experience

the feeling of being a mother.

Don't be so negative.

You will be fine.

So will I.

But dear,

we're talking about two things.

Adopting a child

requires a lot.

You have to think about your future...

Fine. I will stop saying.

I don't say it anymore.

I will stay silent.

Xiao Mo is still lying in the hospital bed.

We should consider

how to take after your brother, right?

Yes, you're right.

You're right!

Xia Yu,

we all worry about you.

Noodles served with sauce was my father's specialty.

He didn't often cook it for me.

I love it since I was a child.

It's kinda strange

that usually

when he wanted something from me,

he cooked me noodles.

Do I go too far?

Yes.

The noodles are hard to cook.

I've made it once

and it tasted so bad.

But my dad ate it anyway.

Do you think

it will be better if I cook more?

Take this.

My dad has no luck

eating the noodles I cook.

Have a try.

It's quite tasty.

Aren't you busy in the aviation school?

You're with me every day.

I'm not busy there.

You need help here,

so I'm here to help.

Sorry

for no salary.

You are mine yourself.

I don't need any money.

How about watching

a movie in the afternoon?

Duo Duo.

Sister Hua Xin,

why do you come?

I just pass by

and drop in on you.

Have a sit.

I'll make you something to drink.

No bother.

I'm here to tell you something.

What? You look very serious.

Your brother Xiao Mo had a car accident.

Car accident?

When?

How's he now?

Which hospital is he in?

Calm down.

He waked up finally.

He just needs

to rest for a while.

When he's better,

you can visit him

in the hospital.

But if my aunty contacts you,

do keep a secret of this.

I'm afraid she will be too worried.

OK.

I see, Sister Hua Xin.

Don't worry.

Here you come.

Seeing him like this

makes me feel bad.

He has sat inside for a long time.

He may feel better since you come.

I'll see him.

Right.

I've heard that Xiao Mo is awake.

Have you seen him?

How's he?

He decides to leave

Air Genial for me.

I'm ashamed to visit him.

I'll visit him for you then.

Come on in.

Thank you, Wei Wei.

It's nothing.

Have a sit.

Thanks for your company.

If I met this,

you would also come and accompany me.

Don't be a doomsayer.

Cancel it.

It feels like you've

been the Xia Yu I know.

It all happens out of a sudden.

Many things have changed

and I have to

handle many things.

I can't shrink back.

You mean the food poisoning case?

Our Air Genial can't

take the blame for others.

I need to find the clue

and keep informed.

Actually, Wei Wei

has told me something before.

Do you want to hear now?

Of course.

One of my friends

works in that hotel.

So I requested her to find out

the list of food poisoning,

which includes

the four first-class passengers.

Now we just have to

get the hospital records.

So with this list,

we can prove

that whether the cause of food poisoning

is us or that hotel.

Right.

That's how it goes.

We'll handle the things from outside.

You should focus on the things

from inside.

Thank you, Wu Di.

Mother, how's it going?

Do you have any news?
