[New Horizon]

[Episode 34]

Actually, President,

even if you do not

tell me these things today,

I've already decided to leave.

Maybe I really

need some time to learn.

Hello, I'm Luo Dong.

I am a pilot of Air Genial.

Become a pilot…

Why are you here?

No one was here.

I just came in to watch

the previous promotion video.

I hope that children who love flying

can feel the charm of flying,

experience the fun of flying,

and see a broader world.

You did quite well.

You didn't appear to be nervous in front of the camera.

I was just pretending to be calm.

In fact, I was more nervous than anyone else.

Then do not do things

you are not good at from now on.

Just be yourself.

What's wrong with you?

You're acting strange.

I have some business to do. Gotta go.

Xiao Mo.

You're a great pilot.

You'll definitely be

a very good captain one day.

Thank you.

I wish you better performance in the future.

I heard that yesterday, Luo Dong

hung out with a bunch of stewardesses.

Keep your voice down.

His girlfriend is here.

I didn't see her.

Sorry, Yu Jie.

Didn't Luo Dong need to inform you

before he was hanging out?

Today,

I'd like to formally introduce

my girlfriend Yu Jie to you.

He really has a girlfriend.

We are under the impression that

his girlfriend is in his imagination.

That's right.

Luo Dong, are you still going to

play with us tomorrow?

Don't you have work to do tomorrow?

Yes, right.

I have something to do tomorrow.

Raincheck?

Raincheck.

The president wants you to

take a look at these.

So you can work as you should

in the next meeting.

I haven't even finished reading these.

So many more to come?

I need to tell you something.

What?

Wu Di has resigned.

Really?

Don't get emotional.

Mr. Lin has received

Wu Di's resignation letter.

I think

it's better to leave it to you.

I…

I can't agree definitely.

Xia Yu, have you ever thought

that Wu Di resigned

probably because you were too impulsive

and did not take things into consideration before you acted.

You will be the successor of the company in the future.

You must learn to separate business and private affairs.

Think about it from a different perspective.

If she resigns,

the relationship between

you, Xiao Mo, and her

will become easier,

and you can get along with them better.

Okay, I get it.

I'll deal with it.

Okay.

[Luo Dong]

Are you free tomorrow?

Let's play golf together. Invite Yu Jie over.

It's you. Please come in.

The weather is so nice.

Don't go inside.

Let's play golf.

No, I'm not interested in it.

Listen.

I think so too.

I'm not interested in playing golf either.

Let me tell you.

Luo Dong and Yu Jie

insisted that I go with them.

You know it.

Luo Dong is a real pain in the ass.

And you also know

Yu Jie's character.

Luo Dong is quite afraid of her lately.

It will be embarrassing

if you don't go and only I go with them.

There are two of them.

I'm alone.

If you go, at least…

Okay, I get it.

All right, I'll go.

Nice!

You did great!

Be professional.

Stand with the feet shoulder-width apart.

Bend your legs slightly.

The legs…The legs…

Like this.

Squat a little.

How's that?

Look at others.

Do they play like you?

I look handsome like this, right?

Stand with the feet shoulder-width apart.

I can't hit like this. Look.

You can bend your knees a bit.

Right?

Okay, I'll have a try.

Don't turn in your feet.

You can do it.

Not bad.

I couldn't hit it the first time.

Try again.

This is the right way.

Try again.

It's okay.

I find that I did it worse than you.

Playing golf is fun, isn't it?

It will be more interesting when you master the skill.

It's good to sweat occasionally.

Good.

Then I'll come with you next time.

OK.

Goodness me.

Driving so fast in the parking lot.

No wonder

my eyelids keep jumping today.

Turns out I'm going to meet someone I know.

Let's go.

Don't you know me?

I know you.

Li Teng.

If you are gonna apologize to me.

I'm listening.

Apologize?

What are you talking about?

I don't understand you.

Drop it then.

We have things to do. Bye.

No wonder you, a petty female pilot,

are so aggressive.

Maybe...

her pilot license is…

What are you talking about?

Let's go.

Mr. Li.

Hit him!

Don't fight!

Don't fight!

Stop!

What?

I'm telling you.

I've already called the police.

One more move if you dare.

Alright.

We'll see.

Let's go.

Are you okay?

I'm fine.

Oh, my God.

I'm fine.

The members of the board are here.

There are a lot of them.

Many things will be discussed today.

Gao Kai.

Mr. Lei.

I have a question.

Why did our VIPs complain

that four of our pilots assaulted them.

Mr. Lei, you can just ask me.

Don't ask Brother Kai.

Xia Yu.

You are now also an executive of the company.

You should think twice before you do something.

You have tarnished

the image of the company.

Mr. Lei.

I'm involved in a fight after work.

What does it have to do with the company's image?

Besides, if Li Teng is unhappy with me,

he can call the police.

Although you are a senior,

well...

it is none of your business, right?

Xia Yu.

President.

Mind your attitude.

You're being disrespectful to the elders.

Mr. Lei, don't take it to heart.

I'll give him a lesson

when we get home.

Yes.

I'm not your father, I can't discipline you.

But don't forget

if you want to

be the head of the Air Genial in the future,

my vote is still very important.

Vote as you like.

One vote cannot determine anything.

Xia Yu has pissed off Mr. Lei.

Go inside.

The first thing that we are going to discuss

in this meeting is…

President

I think that we cannot delay the new route anymore.

Let's discuss it

at the meeting today.

I've asked a company

to compile a professional appraisal report.

It's already in front of you.

You can take a good look at it.

The advantages of this project

is very obvious.

If you have no objection

after reading it,

we can take a vote by a show of hands.

Mr. Lei, please wait a moment.

Opening up a new route

is the company's top priority.

The evaluation report of the waypoint

of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province

will not be available until next month.

We should wait a few more days

and make the decision

after we compare the two reports.

But... wouldn't it

be too inefficient?

I agree with Mr. Xia.

This is an important matter.

We can't make any hasty decisions.

Don't forget

our company's profits

have been declining for six consecutive months.

If it continues like this,

we will be facing a loss.

Our company now

urgently need to find a

new way to ensure

the interests of all shareholders.

Am I right?

I think what Mr. Lei said

is very reasonable.

Mr. Lei, you are so eager to finalize the plans

probably because of

your investment in tourism projects, right?

My personal investment project

and the opening of this new route

are two different things.

Let me reiterate that

my doing is to protect

the interests of all shareholders.

Xia Yu.

Mind your words

when you talk to your senior.

In this meeting,

every word I say

is for the sake of

the interests of all shareholders.

I am afraid that your investment project

will damage the image of the company.

Mr. Lei.

Have you forgotten

what you said

when you were disciplining me outside?

Xia Yu.

What do you mean, kiddo?

What do you think? Dad.

Was that impressive enough?

But…

you shouldn't be so harsh.

Thanks to my good acting.

Otherwise, it couldn't bring out such a good effect.

Do you understand the world of the young?

Right, Brother Kai?

Yes.

It's not proper for the president

to have a confrontation with Lei Chen

So he has to use you as a cover

to buy us a little more time.

When the two evaluation reports

are available,

you should choose carefully.

Dad,

I used Lei Chen's investment project

to divert their attention.

A good one, right?

Very good.

But don't use Lei Chen as your excuse.

Your involvement in the fighting

is really a mistake.

It's so dishonorable.

The flight department has accepted

the inquiry of the police officer.

Li Teng is also filing a complaint.

How should we deal with it?

How?

Handle it fairly.

I'm really sorry.

My resignation got you into trouble.

It's okay.

There are many self-criticism reports

on the Internet.

It is a piece of cake,

We are leaving now.

You guys talk.

Come on, let's go out and talk.

So my dad talked to you.

He's the president

Don't listen to him.

All right.

I don't.

Actually,

I was thinking of resigning

before the president

talked to me.

Does Xiao Mo know?

I don't want him to know now.

I do not want to implicate him

because of my business.

I think he will naturally know it

after I leave.

Okay.

No matter what you do,

I will support you.

But I hope

you wrap the Dream to Fly first

before you go.

OK?

Hello. One cup of ice Americano.

Thank you.

Okay, wait a minute.

Class Monitor.

Tao Tao.

Why are you here?

I'm here to get President's signature.

It is about Dream to Fly.

Do you

not have a date today?

What date?

Come on, stop it.

Everyone knows about you and Duo Duo?

You all can tell?

Of course.

What's up? Are you having a quarrel?

I've been making calls

and sending messages to her these days

but she never replies.

It is so strange.

So what did you say to her?

I didn't say anything.

Tell me

from the beginning.

I am a love master.

I'll analyze it for you.

I saw

a Michelin training manual

in her bag

that day.

I thought she was going to sign up.

Did you then tell her

that you wanted to pay for her?

How did you know that?

It is the norm in TV shows.

When you were in school,

you performed well

in your exams.

But you knew nothing

when it comes to love.

What's wrong with me?

You're still asking?

You're deflating her ego.

Let me ask you.

Is Duo Duo

Xiao Mo's friend from the same village?

First, her family is poor.

Second, she must have never been abroad.

I was trying to help her.

You were not helping her.

You were humiliating her.

You made her so embarrassed.

And you two have been together

only for such a short time.

How can she

get along with you later?

I didn't expect that

it could be so serious.

What should I do then?

If you ask others,

they definitely have no way.

But it's me you're asking.

Easy-peasy, you know?

That is great. Tell me.

First of all,

you should apologize

to Duo Duo

because it's your fault.

And then…

Xiao Tong.

Are you off duty?

Yes.

Well…

I... I have something to do. I have to go now.

Don't go!

You haven't finished yet.

Talk later.

Think about it yourself.

Use your brain.

Come on!

Finish it first, please.

Tao Tao.

This brat.

Tom,

could you please give me a hand

with something in the kitchen?

Kitchen.

Sure.

What do you want me to do?

I need you to peel the…

Li Wei?

Duo Duo.

Come in.

OK.

Why are you here?

Last time I said

I'd pay for your studying abroad.

I'm sorry.

Why are you apologizing?

You didn't do anything wrong.

I know.

I didn't think about your feelings

before I said those words.

You must feel bad.

Please don't be angry with me.

Li Wei, I'm not angry with you.

You're thinking too much.

I just think

I can not trouble you with anything

since we're only together

for a short time.

You're right. I indeed

considered going abroad seriously.

But

it's not too late to do so

when my business is on the right track.

I know.

I just want to say

I like you very, very much.

It takes money to go abroad.

So I wanted to help.

Maybe

I'm not good at expressing myself.

What I want to say is that

I want to help you so bad.

Okay, okay, I get it.

You're not angry with me now?

No.

I'll think about it.

But

I want to go abroad

with my capability.

OK.

I will definitely not interfere with

your things in the future.

You have the final say.

Oh, right, you're here in time.

I'm not

quite good at

reading this one.

Let me read it for you.

This paragraph?

Good morning, sir.

Can I help you?

Yes, I'd like to send these letters.

Stand up.

Hello, my name is Han Li Wei.

I am your class teacher.

I will guide you through

the two-week sharing course of Dream to Fly.

I would like to welcome you all

on behalf of Air Genial.

Next,

I will tell you something that you should pay attention to.

Hello, everyone.

Then I will

give you

a brief introduction.

The wings of this kind of aircraft are fixed.

It is also called fixed-wing aircraft.

To put it simply,

its wings

cannot be moved.

They are fixed.

It is unlike birds in the sky

that can fold

or change the angle of their wings.

when flying.

The planes that we usually take

when traveling

are fixed-wing aircraft.

This plane

is called Cirrus SR-20.

Lower monoplane design.

It is a small piston

propeller-type aircraft.

Its whole body

is made of composite material

The plane can hold four passengers.

Moreover,

it also has a parachute

which can guarantee our safety

in case of emergency.

So do you want to

fly in it?

Yes.

Okay, let's take turns

to be a little pilot, okay?

Okay.

The flight paths of planes

are called "air traffic route",

and "airline" in short.

Have you heard of it?

Yes.

The airline

not only determines

the direction of the flight,

origin-destination, and stopover points,

but also the aircraft's

flight height and width

according to the requirement of air traffic control

in order to ensure air traffic order

and flight safety.

As you can see,

these points on the map

are what the route looks like

as long as we connect them into lines.

Do you all see it clearly?

Yes.

So now you can

try to draw it

on your own map.

Are you all interested

in airplanes?

Yes.

Then who can tell me

why?

Because pilots are very handsome.

I want to be handsome too.

In fact, I think you are very lucky.

You can get in touch with airplanes

at such a young age.

I believe that in the future, you will

become a handsome pilot

earlier than them.

When I further

learned how to fly,

I learned the secret

why pilots are so handsome.

Secret?

Do you want to know

what it is?

Yes.

Well, I will tell you.

Pilots

are not only wearing beautiful uniforms

but also are very smart.

They know

all kinds of aviation knowledge.

They are able to deal with all the emergencies

to protect

hundreds of passengers' lives.

So people as great as they are

are definitely handsome.

Really handsome.

So

it does not matter

that you just want to be handsome.

Just realize your dream

step by step.

You will understand

you can definitely achieve your dream

as long as you keep working hard.

Okay, let's go back.

Good morning.

Hello, Captain Ren.

Captain Ren

Here you are.

Xiao Tong,

why haven't I seen Wu Di lately?

You don't know?

Wu Di has handed in her resignation letter.

She's in the process of resigning.

Resign? Why?

I don't know either.

I heard it from Tao Tao.

You know, he's well-informed

about gossips.

Female pilots are so rare.

She is resigning. So sad.

Our company

is getting boring.

Do you think I'm a loser

or I'm useless?

Have you made up

your mind?

Why are you still

asking me the question now?

Because your resignation letter

is still in my hand now.

I think you can

reconsider it.

If you regret it…

I do not regret it.

In fact, I didn't quit my job

for anyone.

It's just...

I don't know

whether I can do a good job.

Why not take a break

and regain my self-confidence?

Makes sense.

Given a second thought,

it's not a big deal to quit the job.

There are so many possibilities

in one's life.

You do not have to be a pilot.

What is the most important thing in life?

Happiness.

Even if you are no longer a pilot,

you have many choices.

You see.

You can open a clothing store,

a pet store,

or other stores.

Thank you, Xia Yu.

You are welcome.

By the way,

you're supposed to be on duty tomorrow.

Since you have decided to leave,

do you need to cancel it?

I'll fly one last time.

Okay.

Xiao Mo.

You haven't left yet? Anything?

I think

I should let you know one thing.

What?

Wu Di has quit her job.

How do you know?

That's not the point.

I guess

she didn't want to tell you.

I know

you two have broken up,

but you still care about her very much.

So I think

I need to tell you.

Wu Di,

you don't even want to tell me

you are leaving?

Are you getting off?

No.

I'm afraid I won't have the courage to leave if I do.

Let's go

OK.

Xiao Mo, it's done.

The director of the flight department of Donghai Airlines

is my senior.

So I have made an appointment.

The three of us will meet together tomorrow.

Let me remind you, Donghai Airlines

is an excellent airline.

If you have any conditions or requirements,

just bring them up.

If you don't, no second chance.

I have reminded you.

Thank you.

I appreciate your help.

I don't want Wu Di

to know about this.

First, I'm your brother.

If you are this polite to me again,

I'll be angry with you.

Second,

you told me not to tell Wu Di.

Are you

this great?

Okay, okay.

It's okay. It's okay.

Suit yourself.

Whatever.

Okay, I won't push you.

Bye.

Bye-bye.

Is my brother an idiot?

Yes.

He made such a big sacrifice

for Wu Di,

but he doesn't want her to know.

That's right.

Honey,

this may not be a bad thing.

Maybe it can turn into a good thing.

Really.

You know

there's a shortage of pilots

in the airline market now.

And Xiao Mo is

an excellent pilot.

Donghai Airlines is strong.

Maybe he'll have a bright future

after he joins the company.

Isn't that great?

I heard that Wu Di had also resigned.

She is not as good.

She may not find a good job

after she resigns.

Wu Di has also resigned?

Yes. Don't you know it?

Their love really is...

It costs too much.

They didn't make progress together

but lagging behind.

They're both quitting their jobs!

What are they thinking?

I don't understand it at all.

This is the general information.

When we complete sorting

the rest of the videos

I'll show them to you.

Good job.

This is good enough.

You and Xia Yu

have done a good job.

You didn't let me down.

In the future, I will leave Air Genial

to you both.

Then I can retire

with peace of mind.

By the way, Xiao Mo.

Come to my home for a meal

when you're free.

Let's not talk about business all the time.

Moreover, you and Xia Yu

should also get to know each other more

to strengthen the relationship of you two.

President, in fact,

I have something to say to you.

Just say it.

Go ahead.

Maybe...

I'll...

leave Air Genial soon.

Why?

It's so sudden.

For... some personal reasons.

I see.

You want Wu Di to stay here.

That's why, right?

My love relationship

affected my work before.

I didn't expect

it would lead to such serious consequences.

I think

if anyone should take

the blame for the mistake,

it should be me,

not Wu Di.

I knew it.

But you don't have to leave.

Do you know

Wu Di has also offered to resign.

But

I can't focus on my work

even if she leaves.

So

you'd better let me go.

You've decided?

OK.

Since you insist,

I can't keep you here.

You can do as you wish.

Thank you.

Please keep this a secret for now.

Don't tell anyone.

Don't worry.

I will not let others know it.

Xia Yu.

You need me for something?

Yes.

Is it

about Wu Di?

Tell me.

I know about her resignation.

I want you to persuade her

not to give up flying.

Don't let me affect her.

Do you know

you are affecting her now?

Wu Di can decide on her own business.

Who are you to interfere with her life?

Why are you so self-righteous?

Who are you?

I will never force Wu Di

to do anything.

I support her in whatever she does

as long as she is happy.

And…

have you ever

thought about what she wants

from her point of view?

What a coincidence!

What a coincidence, Sister Hua Xin.

Are you off duty now?

Not yet.

I will leave first.

Okay. Bye.

Do you know

my brother

actually has done a lot of things for you?

Captain Wu, here you are.

Thank you.

Are you nervous about flying for the last time?

No, I'm not nervous.

But I'm a little sad.

I have applied

to fly with you for this flight.

You're leaving now.

Just indulge me for the last time.

Thank you, Xia Yu.

Xia Yu, are you ready?

Captain.

Captain.

Here's today's flight report.

Not bad. No problem.

I heard it is your last flight.

Good.

This time we have a beautiful lady with us.

This flight won't be so boring.

Captain Lu.

I suggest

Wu Di do the take-off today.

Give me a reason.

I'll have plenty of opportunities to do this later.

Right?

Okay.

Anyway, it's the last time that you fly a plane.

Then I'll give you a chance.

Come on.

Thank you.

You owe me a favor.

No problem.

Thank you, Captain Lu.

Come on.

Are you ready?

I'll leave the plane to you.

I'll handle the plane.

Ms. Wu Di.
