Episode 6

Your Highness.

This is Detective Su's identity information.

His mother died in childbirth.

His father passed away from illness 2 years ago too.

Detective Su is all on his own now,

renting a house at West YongFu Lane.

Other than these,

there's not much special information.

Those few dishes are really not bad.

What?

No rooms available?

young master,

it's said that Empress Dowager is choosing a wife for Prince Qi.

Many people are coming into the city from all places.

Our inn is also full everyday.

We really don't have vacant rooms.

This... I...

Brother Xie,

let's go and check other inns.

No!

No way.

I'm worried if you live in other inn.

Then...

Okay.

Clear Tianzi first room for me.

According to the rules

for Tianzi 1st room, unless it's for special occasion,

it's not open for public.

This is a special occasion now.

Oh, she's your future wife!

I apologise for not recognising.

I'll go and clear up Tianzi 1st room now.

Go, go!

Yes, yes, yes.

About the case of the disaster relief fund

Su Ci has screwed it up.

I know.

Tell me, what's the point of finding back the fund.

I heard only a mere magistrate was caught

who was even killed.

Tell me if this isn't considered screwed up.

It's true when you put it that way.

Young officer Luo!

Young officer Luo,

you've done great in the headless female corpse case.

Teach me when you have time.

Read more scroll files if you have time.

Have you found it?

Yes.

You won't find anything like this.

Please give me advice, young officer Luo.

Normally this type of totem

is commonly used by organisations in jianghu.

You're searching on penalty tattoo,

naturally you won't find anything.

Thank you young officer Luo.

Young master, quickly.

You're missing Little Su, right?

While investigating with Detective Su,

it's so fun!

It's so boring now.

Also,

didn't I say I wanted to treat Detective Su

to a meal?

We can have a meal

but we have to go to a restaurant.

If they follow us home,

he'll find out I'm Prince Qi.

Alright, alright, let's go.

Move aside! Move aside!

This...

Who is it? So bossy.

It looks like a carriage from Mansion of Marquis Yong'an.

Let's go.

Did you hear someone calling for help?

What?

N... No.

Young master,

are you already obsessed with

investigating cases with Detective Su?

Let's go now.

Young master, faster!

It's almost past meal time.

This is...

You should cover the scar on your neck.

Little Su's silk handkerchief?

It's Little Su!

Chase after it!

Crown prince, I've caught the person.

Aren't you a capable one.

Leave.

I'll take my time playing with him.

Yes.

Who are you?

How dare you kidnap a government officer!

I'll will let you know later.

Son of Marquis Yong'an

is not some minor role like you

can offend easily.

I've already left some clues,

people from the Mingjing Office will arrive soon.

You'd better let me go!

A mere Mingjing Office dares to ask a person from me?

What do you take me for?

You really don't know my abilities

without some torment.

You have a secret like this on you!

Interesting!

Let go of me!

My subordinates are too rude.

I'll attend to you well tonight.

Come.

Soft and small, like nature itself!

Go away!

Such a best one!

Help!

Help!

Open the door!

Help!

Anyone there?

Stop shouting!

This is my private mansion.

No one will save you.

What do you want to do?

I'll let you be a woman once tonight.

Such a beauty like you

wearing guys' outfit,

so unfortunate.

Shameless.

Release me now!

Detective Su,

besides loving beauties,

I have another problem,

which is talking nonsense when I'm in a bad mood.

What if I accidentally

slipped out your secret about cross-dressing?

What do you think

will happen?

Don't be scared.

As long as you serve me well today,

serve until I'm comfortable,

I'll keep your secret.

Stay with me in the future,

having nightlife together,

isn't it exciting?

It's said the son of Marquis Yong'an

is admirable and charming.

I thought you were good-looking,

but now,

aren't you just an ugly

pathetic person?

If it's not for your ancestors' virtue,

granting you the title Son of Marquis,

which woman is willing to be with you?

Not even nightlife,

I already feel like vomiting just by looking at you.

You stink!

Get up!

Damn woman.

Refusing a toast only to drink a forfeit.

Come.

Drink a cup of this.

I assure you'll feel ecstatic.

Let go of me.

Where is Xiao Junhao?

I'm asking you where is Xiao Junhao?!

His Highness

is at the backyard.

Let go of me.

You'll be begging me not to go later.

Let go of me!

Stop pretending.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me!

Little Su.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me!

Which bastard

dares to ruin my plan?

Your Highness.

I'm a good friend of Detective Su.

Your Highness, it's a mistake.

Your Highness. She... She...

Little Su.

Don't touch me.

I came late.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me!

Little Su, don't be scared.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me!

It's me.

It's me!

Move aside.

I'll have mercy on you.

Hot.

Don't worry.

I'll take you away soon.

Since you all want to die,

I'll do as you wish!

I'll bring you home.

Your Highness.

I came late, please forgive me.

Alright. Deal with the aftermath.

Yes!

Quick!

Yes! Yes!

Little Su.

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me!

Little Su!

Don't you touch me!

Don't touch me.

Don't touch me.

Little Su, open your eyes.

It's me, Pei Zhao.

I feel so hot.

I'll take care of it.

You...

didn't ask me why.

You must have your own reasons.

I will wait until the day you tell me first.

Brother Pei.

I will not let you keep my secret for nothing.

I'll give you 3 promises.

You can ask me to do anything.

I won't reject.

I swear.

Do you have to draw the line like this?

Yes.

Okay then.

You have to answer my request.

Do say.

Move in with me.

This...

I'm worried about you living alone.

It's my request.

You cannot reject.

With you moving here

you can also watch on me

to see if I am keeping your secret.

Are you going to break your promise?

Okay.

These few cases are really troublesome.

Right. Clues are not enough.

Right.

Will everyone

already know I'm a woman.

Have you heard?

The son of Marquis Yong'an is done for.

Done for?

He did so many bad things normally

but he always got away with it.

But he offended Prince Qi.

Prince Qi entered the Palace late night,

took away his hereditary,

and sent him to the North.

He deserved it.

Brother Su.

Rushuang.

You're finally back.

Why are you all here?

Yesterday we heard Fei Yuan said you were kidnapped.

We were so worried.

Are you okay?

Brother Su, are you hurt?

I... I'm alright.

No, I'm still worried.

Let me check your pulse.

No, it's fine.

I'm really alright.

Don't worry.

If I knew this would happen,

I should not have let those rogues leave.

It's my fault.

I should have insisted on going with you.

Otherwise a handful of poison powder from me,

will have that whatever he's called

crying and begging for help.

Brother Pei too.

He said you needed rest

so he wouldn't tell us where you're staying at.

I could only wait for you here.

Oh right, Brother Su,

that son of Marquis Yong'an was banished.

I already sent words that

as long as he passes through our property of Feiyun Manor

he will be given a lesson.

Brother Su.

I'll get revenge for you.

Thank you all.

No problem.

No need to thank us.

We're friends right.

Rushuang,

where are you going carrying the baggage?

Your home!

My home?

Right!

From today onwards,

I will live together with you.

If there's no space, I'll sleep in the woodshed.

Anyways, with me around,

you won't be bullied again.

No... No thanks, Rushuang.

I can take care of myself.

No.

Rushuang,

I can send people to guard at Brother Su's place.

You don't really have to go!

How many times did I tell you?

Don't stop me, don't stop me,

why do you still stop me?

if you go to Brother Su's place,

I'm worried.

What's there to worry about?

You're a girl and he's a man!

You keep emphasizing I'm a girl and he's a man,

so what?

I...

Brother Su's martial arts skills are not good,

he can't even protect himself.

How can he protect you?

Although you use poison,

when encountering a master

you will also be vulnerable.

So what's your plan?

Young office Su,

please don't condone your friends making noises.

You...

I still have stuff to do,

you all can leave first.

But I...

Rushuang,

enough.

Brother Su, work hard,

we'll leave first.

Let's go, Rushuang.

Then Brother Su, I'll help you pack your stuff.

Let's go, Rushuang!

You!

Be careful!

Rushung!

Don't worry.

Today,

Marquis Yong'an visited me,

saying that his son suddenly got banished,

and wanted me to find a way to bring him back.

What happened?

I heard that he molested an ordinary woman

and hurt an officer from Mingjing Office.

Coincidentally Prince Qi saw it.

Prince Qi took the advantage

and exposed everything

he had done.

It is said he caused an outrage among the people

and had the King send him out.

This Xiao Junhao indeed has no future.

But,

that he made Prince Qi enter the palace and make a request

is interesting.

Send people to ask Xiao Junhao

what happened.

Yes.

Long live the Majesty.

Say it.

Say it!

Dumb bird.

Your Highness.

The person following Xiao Junhao has sent words.

He said he's well-behaved

and said nothing.

The guards are also arranged.

Make sure

he said nothing.

You broke all his teeth,

it's not going to be easy for him to talk.

Is it funny?

Your Highness, you did all these

for Detective Su?

Why are you so talkative?

You're dismissed.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Commander Fu is waiting for you at the pavilion.

Your Highness.

Ziyou,

what brings you here today?

Your Highness.

I'm getting married.

I came specially to give you an invitation.

I left for only half a month,

you're too fast!

Who is the bride?

A lady from Mansion of Du.

The one who is

a childhood friend of yours?

Ziyou,

you hid it too well.

Zizhuo didn't come?

Recently, Zizhuo,

he doesn't feel good,

and he doesn't go out.

Why?

Bring along Zizhuo another day

and we'll go relax together

and have a celebration for you.

By the way, Your Highness,

I need to visit Mr. Qu to collect a drawing.

Please excuse me.

What masterpiece did you

get from Mr. Qu again?

I want to join.

Childe.

Childe, guests came to meet you.

Let them in.

Yes.

I'll be entering the palace

in a few days

to draw portraits for candidates of the princess consort.

I'm afraid I couldn't attend Brother Fu's wedding.

I almost forgot.

Congratulation, Your Highness,

for not having a concubine for so many years,

making every lady in the city

concern about you.

Not only me,

the commander of the imperial guards,

with extraordinary power,

is only waiting for a person all these years.

How many ladies' heart have you broken?

Two childe,

a beauty is to be loved.

She won't be a beauty if she's heartbroken.

Seems like Mr.'s drawing skills have improved.

You're too kind.

Thank you.

We are friends,

this is what I should do.

Oh right!

How's Mr.'s drawing

of the beauty?

I've been drawing,

but there are too many chores recently,

so it's not complete yet.

Let us see

what have you done.

Please wait.

Rushuang.

Rushuang, you have been hiding here for half a day,

what are you doing?

Don't cause trouble here.

Leave, leave!

I'm not leaving,

I have to accompany you.

I don't need your accompaniment.

I have to.

Xie Beiming,

I want the bean curd from the restaurant at the city's gate.

Can you go buy some for me?

You want to eat now?

No,

bring it back straight to the inn after you bought it.

Then I'll eat it in my room.

Go.

Rushuang,

are you purposely sending me away?

Are you going or not?

I'll be mad if you don't go!

- When I'm mad I'll... - I'll go.

But it's not because I'm scared of you poisoning me.

I just

don't want you to be mad.

I'll go now.

Less than half a month,

only the eyes await to be finished.

Look at the lips.

The colour of the lips is like a lotus flower,

pure and gorgeous.

What do both of you think?

I like the pair of hands added,

soft,

and slender.

It's so rare.

Seems like

Mr.'s progress recently is smooth.

How stunning it'll be when it's completed.

The eyes are where a beauty's soul is.

How would Mr. draw them?

Do you have an idea?

Brother Fu, you're right.

The eyes are the soul of this beauty portrait.

It's just that I have searched for so many years

but I still dare not easily draw.

I hope that Mr. will find his inspiration soon

and complete this portrait.

Miss.

How do I go to Feiyun Inn?

Feiyun... Feiyun...

That way!

Thank you.

No problem.

Where did he go?

Rushuang,

why are you stalking me?

I...

I just want to know where you live.

Rushuang,

I can really take care of myself.

You don't have to move in with me.

Otherwise, let me go to your house

and make you a meal to thank you.

How about it?

After all, if it wasn't for you protecting me,

the son of Marquis Yong'an wouldn't take revenge on you.

Can I?

I...

I'm moving soon.

Young master, what were you thinking?

Letting Detective Su and Rushuang live in Mansion of Prince Qi.

Wouldn't you get exposed?

You normally play smart,

why are you unintelligent at critical times?

Find a big residence quick. The faster the better.

Fei Yuan, what is this about?

Young master, these are personally selected by Jiang.

There's no problem. They don't know who you are.

Alright, let me introduce

This is Xiao Xue, Xiao Yao, Xiao Jing.

This is Xiao Ting, the one at the back is...

Alright.

But... Young master, please be more serious.

If not, you'll forget their names again.

As long as you remember their names.

Okay. You all go ahead and do your work.

Go ahead.
