(Episode 90)

Eun Jo. Wake up.

Wake up!

Her body temperature is 31.4.

Her pulse keeps getting weaker and she has no reflex response.

Okay.

She has passed away. Time of death,

9:37 p.m...

June 18, 2021.

She had already passed away when she was found.

She lost a lot of blood...

and her body had gone into shock from hypothermia.

Sun Hyuk. What happened?

Why was Eun Jo in an accident on a mountain?

Sun Hyuk. Where's Eun Jo?

I thought you went to look for Ms. Hwang.

Is Eun Jo okay?

She's unconscious right now because of hypothermia.

They're raising her body temperature back to normal.

- Oh no... - Hey.

Soon Jung. She'll be fine.

She survived that horrible accident...

five years ago.

She's right. We couldn't find her back then,

but Sun Hyuk found her this time. It's different this time.

Eun Jo will be fine.

Mommy. Don't worry.

Eun Jo is a secret agent.

She's Ultra Super Megaton.

Sun Hyuk. What about Ms. Hwang?

She's okay, right?

No.

She passed away.

What?

What? Ji Na Hwang...

was found dead on a mountain?

Yes. According to someone at Hankuk Hospital,

Hwang Ga Heun, who was with her,

is in a coma from hypothermia.

What? Ga Heun too?

That means Eun Jo,

who was holding Ha Ra back, may go wrong as well.

Okay. Got it.

Keep me updated on Ga Heun's condition.

Wook Do. You did great. It looks natural.

Good. A dementia patient...

fell to her death on a mountain.

There's no reason to doubt it was an accident.

Honey, I just received good news.

Ji Na Hwang was in an accident on a mountain...

and died.

I think Wook Do abducted her and left her on the mountain.

I see.

Now, our bad blood with Oman Group...

is finally over.

Pretty much.

We just have to finish things up.

With Ha Ra's movie...

and the investment Ji Na Hwang was involved with.

I'll discuss it with Hwaipeu Fund...

and make sure we can keep them going.

Do that.

And make sure...

no one knows about this other than you, me,

and Na Wook Do, who signed that blank oath.

He wouldn't talk, would he?

Don't worry.

He is quite useful.

Hopefully, we won't have annoying things like this again,

but if we do, I plan to have him handle it.

If that woman...

becomes a stumbling block to my child's success,

I must eliminate her.

It wasn't a dream.

Byung Gook got rid of Ji Na Hwang.

Goodness. Byung Gook.

There's a camera in that painting.

It must've recorded everything he said.

Chairman Han, what's wrong?

Is something wrong?

Get... Get... Get rid of that painting.

What?

Gosh. Speak slowly.

Get... Get rid...

Get rid of it!

Get... Get rid of it?

What?

That painting?

What's the big deal about this painting...

that you're convulsing?

She made it through.

Her body temperature is back to normal now.

We can't be sure about if and when she'll wake up...

since there may be complications. We'll have to wait and see.

Yes, doctor.

She would've been much worse if not for the person she was with.

I think she was able to maintain her body temperature...

because the person who passed away was hugging her tight.

Okay, then.

Hey... He's saying...

Eun Jo is alive thanks to Ms. Hwang, right?

Yes, Mom.

Ms. Hwang saved Eun Jo's life.

She saved Eun Jo's life twice,

but she died so tragically.

Eun Jo will be shocked...

when she wakes up.

Eun Gyul is sad too.

Ms. Hwang got us our house back.

Bo Mi, I'm going to see Mr. Wang.

Let me know right away if Eun Jo wakes up.

Okay.

(Mr. Oh Ha Jun)

What happened?

What do you mean, Ji Na Hwang passed away?

What's this about Ms. Hwang being in a coma?

Ji Na Hwang was in an accident on a mountain.

She was? Why? How?

What about Ms. Hwang?

I thought you went with her to find Ji Na Hwang.

You couldn't reach Ms. Hwang?

We were all searching for Ji Na Hwang,

but I think her phone died.

I think she found her first...

and tried to keep her warm until the rescuers arrived.

We have to wait and see if Eun Jo wakes up.

Sun Hyuk. Think positive.

Ms. Hwang will be fine.

She's strong.

Why did Ji Na Hwang go to the mountain anyway?

She has dementia.

Na Wook Do abducted her.

Mr. Wang witnessed it.

What?

Are you saying it wasn't an accident?

I need to ask him for the details.

Where is he?

He's saying goodbye to Ms. Hwang in the morgue.

My gosh. That money...

You worked your fingers to the bone to make that money.

I'm so sorry you lost it.

Thank you.

I swear I'll pay back that money you lent us.

I'll pay it back somehow.

Don't bother making money by being servile.

If you become the type of man your mom wants you to be,

then I'll let you pay me back.

Ma'am.

I've brought the snack that you like.

(Neither joy nor sorrow endures forever.)

Mr. Wang. Neither happiness...

nor sorrow endures forever.

However, only someone who experienced great sorrow...

can enjoy the greatest joy.

I think meeting you...

was one of the things at the center of that joy.

(Neither joy nor sorrow endures forever.)

Ma'am.

Rest in peace.

I'll get the people...

who did this to you.

Ji Na Hwang died on a mountain?

Yes, that's right.

According to what Mr. Kim found out,

she was lost in the woods and was in an accident,

and Ga Heun found her.

But by the time rescuers found them, Ji Na Hwang was dead...

and Ga Heun had hypothermia,

so she's in a coma.

Ga Heun is in a coma?

Yes. That's why your dad went to work early.

I also need to go and figure out...

what will happen from now.

Mom. Is Ga Heun really in a coma?

How did that happen to her?

It may have warmed up, but not in the woods.

She probably shivered in the cold all night long.

It's strange that she even survived.

Eun Jo is seriously...

so annoyingly resilient.

Mom. But...

why did Ji Na Hwang suddenly go up a mountain?

How would I know?

Someone must've told her...

that she'll find her dead daughter up there.

That's why dementia is so scary.

That's how misfortune is. It comes suddenly...

like a thief in the night.

You killed Ji Na Hwang,

didn't you?

Don't worry about a thing anymore.

I'll get rid of everyone...

who gets in your way.

I know you hated Ji Na Hwang,

but a person died. Your outfit is too bright.

There's no need to draw attention.

This isn't that bright.

You know I'm fashionable.

And I'll be overdoing it if I wear black...

just to be proper.

All I can think about is how to handle her absence...

so that your movie...

and the new brand can proceed without a hitch.

My mom is really strong.

She got rid of Ji Na Hwang instantly.

Ji Na Hwang is dead,

and Ga Heun is in a coma.

Then what were you planning to do about killing her father?

Proof? We can just investigate and find it.

Sun Hyuk will request that the police reinvestigate.

This will be a pain.

It's not like he'll find proof that I killed Eun Jo's father...

just by trying.

I have the security footage right here.

No.

Eun Jo is living proof...

of what we did to her.

That means...

if Ga Heun...

never wakes up...

How unique.

I'll keep this one.

This too.

No.

I'll drop them all.

I'll retouch them to fit my elegant, luxurious,

and high-quality style, and launch them with DDM Venus.

Then DDM Venus won't be buried...

by the new brand's success.

How determined was Eun Jo during the past five years,

that she came back even more gifted than before?

If she can do this much, she can make a comeback...

even if Ji Na Hwang gets out of the picture.

Se Rin. Turn yourself in for killing Eun Jo's father.

You didn't give him his insulin shot!

Sun Hyuk is tenacious.

I'm sure he won't let up.

Yes. I'll tell Ha Ra to make sure...

she stops him before they reopen the case.

Ha Ra. I was just about to call you.

We must've had telepathy.

Really? Did you hear already?

- About what? - Ji Na Hwang...

is dead.

She's dead?

You didn't know.

I'll give you even better news.

Ga Heun...

Eun Jo is in a coma.

How did that happen?

Ji Na Hwang was in an accident on a mountain.

Ga Heun went to look for her and ended up that way.

If she's in a coma... How serious is it?

Is there a chance she won't wake up?

That's what you'd like, isn't it?

Isn't that what you want too?

I'm sure Sun Hyuk told you to turn yourself in too.

He said that to you too?

Exactly.

It'll be a pain in the neck if we have to go in for questioning.

Even if they can't find evidence regarding her dad's death,

it'll be hard to avoid being held accountable for what we did to her.

Since she's living proof.

Probably.

So?

Eun Jo...

should've died five years ago anyway.

No.

I'm not your first love.

Eun Jo died five years ago.

I'm Ga Heun.

- Eun Jo. - I'm not her!

Eun Jo.

When I think about what you felt and why you became Ga Heun,

it tears me up inside.

I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.

I couldn't protect you then,

and I'm no better now.

I don't care if you're Ga Heun.

I'm fine with you hating me and resenting me...

for the rest of your life.

Just wake up.

The fact that I can breathe...

under the same sky as you...

is all I want.

So please,

don't leave me again.

I'm begging you. Please come back.

What was the cause of Ji Na Hwang's death?

Tell us!

What will happen to the partnership with Jewang?

Step aside.

Let us through.

Hwaipeu Fund will have a private funeral,

and there will be no public funeral.

No funeral?

That was her wish when she was alive.

Also, the new brand and the movie will proceed...

without delay.

Our attorney will come from Hong Kong...

with her will and give us the details.

I don't know how to express my sympathies.

I understand that's what she wanted.

Please let me know if I can help...

in any way.

Ji Na Hwang was a true businessperson...

with her mighty personality.

She was already respected.

And she's leaving quietly with respect as well.

Dementia made her look for her daughter but never even found her.

I hope she'll find her...

at least in the afterlife.

Since your attorney will publicize the will separately,

I guess she had decided who will replace her.

I don't know about that.

I won't know until the will is read.

If Na Wook Do abducted Ji Na Hwang,

Stepmom may have hired him to do it.

Father wasn't involved, was he?

I heard a strange rumor recently.

I hear you're following Mr. Park around...

and being his moles.

That's not true. Definitely not.

Is that what you mean?

Mr. Park called us in not long ago...

and said if Mr. Oh is named successor,

you'll be fired...

Why did you step on my foot?

- Take out your memo pad. Stat. - Stat.

"The ironclad rule for personal assistants."

"Be deaf for 3 years, mute for 3 years,"

"and blind for three years"?

This is what that obstinate Mr. Park always says.

Pretend you saw nothing. Pretend you heard nothing.

That's why people call him a wall.

If you witnessed a secret,

you must use it as a weapon, not be quiet about it.

That way, our VIPs can't fire us so readily. Understood?

May I jot down your precious advice?

Of course. Naturally.

Don't carve it into your brain.

Carve it into your heart.

Furthermore, Mr. Park will be a kite without a string soon.

Ji Na Hwang died. Ms. Hwang is out. What will happen next?

Oh Ha Jun is finished.

Thus, Mr. Park is also finished.

Thus, once the chairman enters politics,

who will call the shots at the company?

- Ms. Geum! - Ms. Geum!

Carve it into your hearts.

Good job.

You know to take what you did to your grave, don't you?

Of course. Definitely.

My lips are sealed with concrete.

Also, I am your servant now.

Let me know if you ever need anything.

You kept me in a chokehold with this garbage.

How can I trust rich people?

I warned you.

Revenge must be cold.

Was this the revenge that you wanted to take on Ha Ra,

who killed you, your baby, and your father?

Was this the revenge...

you were bent on getting for the past four years?

Waiting to take revenge until the right time...

Sure. That's what I taught you.

But Ga Heun.

I didn't mean...

to miss the right time because you feel sorry for them.

Who are you?

Why are you wearing my daughter's dress?

Take it off. Take it off now!

Bo Mi.

What are you doing here?

It's an emergency.

Ms. Oh suddenly has skin issues,

so you need to fix her makeup.

What? How is that an emergency?

She can just do a touch-up after cooling her skin down.

Plus,

I won't do her makeup anymore.

If it's such an emergency, she can find another makeup artist.

You know no one else will work with her because of her temper.

Anyway, I'm fired if I don't bring you.

Let's go. Please.

Fine. Let's go.

I'm Jewang Group's Oh Ha Ra.

A princess doesn't get blood on her hands.

Don't you remember?

You're the one who dropped Eun Jo from the bridge.

You already got blood on your hands back then.

Don't act like you're all clean.

How dare a servant talk back to me?

Did you just hit me?

Have you lost your mind?

Did you two...

come to kill me again?

Do you think I'll let you do that just like five years ago?

What are you doing here?

No wonder. I came back because it seemed suspicious.

Were you trying to hurt Eun Jo again?

Those jerks.

No wonder those two are friends.

Are you okay?

Are you awake?

I'm okay.

How's Mom?

Where is she?

She was hurt badly.

The cold probably made it worse.

She woke up, right?

Well...

Ms. Hwang...

Where is she? Tell me.

Mom must be waiting for me.

I have to go see her.

She... She passed away.

She passed away?

No.

That's a lie.

Bo Mi. Mom's alive, right?

Where is she? You're lying, right?

Eun Jo.

By the time they found Ms. Hwang in the mountain,

she had already passed away.

No... That can't be!

No!

No!

You and I

No.

I can't blow my dream to own a hot restaurant...

for a few lousy bucks.

Blessed is he who endures temptation.

Anyway, what happened to Soon Jung,

that Fiery Pants...

left me to run the restaurant and hasn't even called?

Gosh. I didn't notice when she was always there...

nagging and bugging me,

but now that she's gone,

I can't stop thinking about her.

Let's think about what will happen...

in Ju Tae Sik's life.

Shall I jot down my modest plan?

Step one.

Become the owner...

of a super popular restaurant.

Step two.

What do you mean, Eun Jo's missing?

Why... Why is she missing?

She finally came home!

That's not true, is it?

Spit it out!

You'll make Soon Jung faint.

Where did Eun Jo go? Tell us!

Eun Jo... left...

When she heard that Ms. Hwang passed away,

she said she won't go home.

She says she isn't Eun Jo.

Eun Jo says she isn't Eun Jo?

What does that mean?

She says she won't come home?

Soon Jung.

Are you okay?

What do we do?

I really don't think she'll come back this time.

Are you home, Ga Heun?

Mom.

Ga Heun. I'm back from my business trip.

I bought up all the liquor in the world for you.

Mom.

Ga Heun. I have an important meeting tomorrow.

Pick out my outfit for me.

Yes... I will, Mom.

I'm so proud of you, my daughter.

You can withstand any storm...

that may come.

I...

adore you so much,

my daughter.

I went to the columbarium...

and brought Ms. Hwang's daughter's ashes.

Good work.

They should be together at least now.

Mom. Your daughter Ga Heun is by your side now.

I'll let you leave together, so you will never part again.

The people who chopped up Oman Group 30 years ago...

and pushed Ms. Hwang's husband to suicide...

were Chairman Oh Byung Gook and Geum Eun Hwa of Jewang.

Why didn't Mom tell me that?

She wanted to relieve...

your grudge first before hers.

The reason I didn't tell her about my revenge...

was in case...

it would make her forget her motivation for revenge.

Only her rage

and pain that she suffered can complete her revenge.

It was destiny...

that I met her.

And this is a video from the hidden camera...

in Chairman Han's room.

If that woman...

becomes a stumbling block to my child's success,

I must eliminate her.

Don't worry.

I'll make sure of it.

Eun Jo.

Promise me.

Promise me that you'll go back...

to being Eun Jo.

Don't live your life obsessed with revenge...

as I did.

Don't lose...

what's most precious...

I'm sorry, Mom.

I won't go back to being Eun Jo.

I am Hwang Ga Heun,

Ji Na Hwang's daughter.

Mr. Wang.

I need to decimate Jewang Group.

(Miss Monte-Cristo)

You may have to leave, depending on the will.

I don't care.

I don't care how long it takes. I will destroy Jewang.

I won't give up.

Eun Jo? What are you doing here?

It's not over until it's over.

You need to pay for what you did.

With whom will you start?

What are you doing?

But you're not Ga Heun, you're Eun Jo.

I won't go back to being Eun Jo. I'm Ga Heun.

Mom. I'll relieve you of your grudge.
