[Dimsum. My Ver] E33 Legend of Yun Xi Synced to KoreanDramax.me RAW -♥ Hafiz Adam ♥-

Episode 33

I found out that Imperial Consort Qing colludes with Northern Li...

in order to assassinate Duke of Qin.

In fact, I've obtained the evidence.

Once Long Tian Mo dies...

and father makes me his successor,

you will be able to make Imperial Consort Qing pay for it.

How did you discover that?

Prince Tian Qing.

Are you planning to silence me?

Actually, I should thank you.

The crown prince is about to die...

and Tian Ning...

will be mine in the future.

However,

I don't want anyone to know my secret.

Only a dead man can assure me

Looks like I need to...

exchange a secret for my life.

What secret?

Tell me about it.

It's in my robe.

Take it out and read it.

I'm impressed, Chu Qing Ge.

You've surprised me indeed.

Prince Tian Qing.

If you kill me today,

Northern Li and Western Qiu...

won't spare you.

Even if you can claim the throne in the future,

you will be restless.

I've exchanged a huge secret for my life.

I believe...

you won't kill me.

You're clever.

Alright.

I hope your intelligence won't get you into trouble.

Guards.

Continue to watch over this place.

If anyone comes or leaves without permission,

you are allowed to kill.

Yes!

But, Imperial Consort Qing is now your father's favourite consort.

This is a serious matter.

If we make any mistake,

that woman might turn around and frame us.

Tian Qing, you can't be impatient.

But, now that we have this evidence,

we can use Duke of Qin...

to get rid of Chu Qing Ge.

You are right, mother.

Luckily, I didn't kill Duke of Qin back in Tian Quan Mountain.

So,

by then, we can really...

kill two birds with one stone.

Your Majesty.

After taking the medicine, the crown prince...

should recover after a few days of rest.

My brother.

There's one thing I don't understand.

What is it?

When I was on my way to capture the Poison Beast,

I was surrounded and intercepted.

Who did that?

How audacious.

I dare not make any assumption.

But, even the guards you sent to protect me...

would have lost their lives if I didn't save them in time.

In my opinion,

those people were probably trying to stall for time...

and their objective...

was the crown prince's life.

You mean,

someone wants the crown prince dead.

That's right.

This is ridiculous.

Investigate.

Whoever he is,

I won't spare him.

Greetings, Your Majesty!

Don't you feel ashamed at all?

Please forgive us, Your Majesty.

We failed to accomplish our mission because of...

Prince Tian Qing's threat and persecution.

Please forgive us.

How did Duke of Qin...

avoid you all and head to Tian Keng?

Were you guys Prince Tian Qing's target?

Your Majesty, Duke of Qin did not go to Tian Keng.

Nonsense.

This morning,

Duke of Qin came to the palace with the Poison Beast's blood.

If he didn't go to Tian Keng,

where did the blood come from?

That night,

the few of us as well as the duke and duchess...

were indeed trapped in Tian Quan Inn by Prince Tian Qing.

Prince Tian Qing only left with his army...

yesterday morning.

How could he possibly...

What a clever deception.

You people are extremely foolish!

All of you were fooled by him!

Listen.

At all cost,

kill Long Fei Ye!

Your Highness, bad news!

The crown prince has been saved by Duke of Qin!

What? How is that possible?

It's true.

Your Highness, what should we do now?

Look at what you did!

You're such a letdown.

You've always been steady, clever and flexible.

I put so much hope in you.

I can't believe you're so vile.

Are you so desperate to kill your elder brother?

Father.

Father.

Father, I'm innocent.

I just wanted to help you to capture the Poison Beast...

and kill Duke of Qin.

I just wanted to help you.

You still want to deny it?

Your objective wasn't to kill Long Fei Ye.

You were trying to stop him from going to Tian Keng.

For so many years, you've been competing with the crown prince.

I'm not foolish enough to buy that explanation of yours.

Have you seen for yourself?

These memorials...

are all about your treacherous deeds,

corruption, conspiracies,

cover-ups, abuse of authority...

and murders!

Do you still have any respect for me?

If you dare to kill the crown prince today,

will you one day...

have the audacity to put a sword on my neck?

Father, I dare not!

I swear I've no such treacherous and immoral thought!

-Father! -Shut up! You action proved otherwise!

You treacherous son.

All these years,

I allowed you to compete against the crown prince...

because I wanted to train the two of you.

-I can't believe you... -Father!

-Guards! -Father!

Drag him out!

-Take him to his palace! -Father!

Without my permission, no one can visit him!

Father!

Father, listen to me!

Father, I'm sorry!

Father!

Your Majesty.

Please take care.

I believe Prince Tian Qing...

will understand his mistake.

So what if he understands?

He's so vicious.

I can't believe he tried to kill his own elder brother.

Please calm down, Your Majesty.

Forget it.

Your Highness.

Prince Tian Qing sent his men to assassinate Duke of Qin...

in attempt to steal the Poison Beast...

and get the crown prince killed.

Who did you hear this from?

Everyone in the court has learnt about this.

His Majesty has put Prince Tian Qing under house arrest.

Nanny, I've something to tell you.

Your Highness, are you sure this is true?

Yes.

When you were away this afternoon,

the crown prince told me about it.

Prior to this, the crown prince instructed her to...

come to me if there's any emergency.

She's a spy...

the Grand Commandant sent to monitor Noble Consort Xiao back then.

If it's not something very important,

she won't risk her life to come to me.

I can't believe...

Noble Consort Xiao...

has a dirty old secret like this.

Back then,

she was just a normal consort.

I can't believe...

she's so cruel.

His Majesty loves the late empress very much.

If he learns about this,

I'm afraid Noble Consort Xiao...

will not be able to escape death.

This is an old incident.

I don't want to interfere.

Moreover,

Emperor Tian Hui merely sent her to the Cold Palace.

His Majesty did not depose her.

I believe...

it's because of Prince Tian Qing.

Since the crown prince has been saved,

isn't it better to let him fight against Prince Tian Qing?

If the two princes compete,

the political situation will be unstable and...

Emperor Tian Hui will be in dilemma.

Your Highness is clever indeed.

Nanny, prepare some supplements.

I'm going to Chao Yang Palace...

to visit the crown prince with Princess Chang Bing.

Yes.

I'll prepare at once.

Xi Er.

You've been working since this morning.

I'm sure you haven't eaten yet.

I prepared a few dishes.

Come and eat.

I don't know what you like.

So, I prepared the dishes your mother liked.

If you have time for this,

I'd rather you work on the poison zombie antidote.

Xi Er.

Eat a little.

Don't call me Xi Er.

If you can't cure the duke,

I'll never forgive you.

This is odd.

These poisonous herbs have similar medicinal properties.

But, the effect doesn't stack.

On the contrary, a change I've never seen occurred.

This is odd indeed.

When I was making the zombie poison,

I added a little heartbreak grass...

and some wolf's bane from the Western Region.

Heartbreak grass contains aggressive poison...

while wolf's bane from the Western Region...

is a kind of painkiller.

I thought that mixing the two...

would stabilise the effect of the zombie poison.

To my surprise, the mixture...

did not produce a good result.

The poisons in the two herbs...

changed a lot as well.

Antidote cannot enhance poison.

Do they clash?

It's not a clash between antidote and poison.

It's a clash between two antidotes.

This is what I discovered over decades of research.

Come.

Look at this.

This is the deadly Qing Hua poison.

And these two,

Shi Li Fu Zi and Tian Shan Xue You...

are its antidotes.

The poison is breaking down.

Instead of resolving the poison,

the two antidotes strengthened the poison.

Indeed.

Apart from this,

if you mix bark cloth tree latex and poison nut,

their antidotes, Shan Yin Duan Hun Cao...

and Wu Shan Hei won't work.

On the contrary, the mixture will...

develop into the deadlier Powder of Death in Seven Steps.

The changes are unpredictable when you combine herbs.

Combining the antidotes of all poisonous ingredients in...

the zombie poison formula...

won't create the antidote.

I've used these poisons for decades.

Yet, I still can't figure out the pattern.

I won't give up.

If I fail once, I'll try 100 times.

If I fail 100 times, I'll try 1,000 times.

I understand your feeling.

You think that there is a cure for every poison.

In order to make this antidote,

I researched for decades,

but to no avail.

My child.

If you really want to formulate this antidote,

you need to eat something.

Although the zombie poison is special,

it is still a kind of poison.

There is a cure for every poison in this world.

I must try.

Whenever I think of how Fei Ye became a poison zombie at that age...

and got tortured by the zombie poison for so many years,

I just can't rest assured and eat.

The more time I waste,

the longer he'll suffer.

At this rate,

you'll collapse before you can create the antidote.

Even though he's your husband...

and I did him wrong,

your mother had lost her life...

protecting him.

I'm the one who owes him.

Why is it...

up to my wife and daughter to make up for it?

Xi Er.

Is this...

really worth it?

I don't care if it's worth it.

I only know that the man I love is poisoned...

and as a poison expert,

I must save him.

I'll definitely succeed if I'm determined enough.

The chemistry between antidotes might be unpredictable,

but there must be a certain logic behind it.

I'll definitely find the secret behind it.

Imperial Consort Qing.

Forgive me for not being able to bow.

Please don't mind the formalities.

You've just recovered from severe illness.

You should rest well.

His Majesty is busy lately.

I'm afraid he has no time to spare.

So, I came over to see if you need anything.

This box...

contains the supplements I brought from Western Qiu...

when I came to Tian Ning to marry His Majesty.

I've asked the imperial physicians.

They are good for your body.

You may rest assured and consume them.

Thank you, Imperial Consort Qing.

You're welcome.

Brother Tian Mo.

You must recover quickly.

You still need to take me out to play.

Silly girl.

Once I recover,

I'll take you out.

It's a promise.

Princess Chang Bing...

has been so worried about her brother.

I bet you cried a lot.

That's not true.

It's all Brother Tian Qing's fault.

He's such a rotten egg.

Luckily, father has put him under house arrest.

Now, no one can hurt you.

I hope father confines him forever.

You've reached marriageable age.

You need to stop being so straightforward.

I just want the best for you, Brother Tian Mo.

The two of you are very close indeed.

I'm reminded of my younger brother.

During my younger days,

my brother and I...

supported and depended on each other too.

Your Highness.

You may all retire.

Yes.

Back then, it was Noble Consort Xiao...

who poisoned the late empress...

and Prince Tian Qing sent his men to intercept and kill Duke of Qin...

in attempt to steal the Poison Beast.

Your Highness.

Ms. Ming Xiang will temporarily stay at Bai Xiao Chuan's place.

She is fine now.

Also,

as planned, our men have begun to...

conceal their identities...

and head to the capital.

Hopefully, I can live long enough...

to avenge my family and country.

Your Highness.

Brother Fei Ye, I heard the crown prince has recovered.

Emperor Tian Hui released Han Cong An and his family.

He only dismissed Han Cong An from his position.

The entire Han Family...

is preparing to move back to their hometown.

Xi Feng.

Send someone to inform the duch...

Inform Han Yun Xi of this,

so that she won't worry.

Yes.

Brother Fei Ye.

Don't you want to come along?

No.

Xi Er.

At this point,

I really don't know what to say to you.

But, whatever it is,

thank you for saving us.

Lady Xu, we're one family.

That's my responsibility.

Sister Yun Xi.

I'm sorry for what I did in the past.

Ruo Xue.

I was at fault as well.

But, family members should always forgive each other.

From now on, you must treat father and mother well.

I will.

Alright.

Escort your mother into the carriage.

We're leaving.

Yun Xi.

We're at the city gate already.

You should go back now.

Father.

Have you made necessary arrangements in our hometown?

Duke of Qin has made arrangements for us.

You may rest assured.

Good.

Does Duke of Qin...

treat you well?

When will the two of you have a baby?

Look at you. Don't be naughty.

Don't you neglect your studies.

The next time we meet, I'll test your medical skills.

I know.

Yun Xi.

Yun Xi.

You'll be alone in the capital.

You must take good care of yourself. Alright?

Don't worry, aunt.

I'm Han Yun Xi. Nothing can beat me.

Alright. Escort your mother into the carriage.

Mother, let me escort you over.

Yun Xi.

I know you're headstrong.

But, you must keep this in mind.

If you are not treated well in the capital,

you can always come home.

Keep this in mind.

We'll always be your family.

Don't worry, father.

Everyone in the duke's household treats me very well.

Good.

I can rest assured then.

Pretty lady, care to dine with me?

Let's go.

Let's go back to the noodle stall.

It smells so good.

This is the smell.

I must remember it.

Young lady, here's your noodle.

Thank you.

Is it really so delicious?

Of course.

I'm enjoying this delicious food...

in the company of a pretty lady like you.

I feel so blessed now.

I bet the other ladies are all dying to be in your company.

That's true.

But, this place is our secret base.

How can I bring someone else over?

By the way, what are you doing here?

I came to take you back to Yao Gui Valley.

I'm so glad I've a friend like you.

Otherwise, I'll really be homeless.

Thanks for taking me in.

I actually wish you'll stay forever.

If I stay in Yao Gui Valley forever,

I'll use up all your herbs.

That's not a problem.

I can always grow more.

-You're so generous? -Yes.

Forget it.

I'll go back to the duke's place after completing my medicine.

-I won't trouble you so much. -Sure.

You're not eating?

I want to go back and make my medicine.

Give me a minute.

Let me eat some more.

Hurry up.

Hurry up.

Just one more bite.

Your Highness, we've confirmed it.

Ever since he was put under house arrest, Prince Tian Qing...

has been depressed and demotivated.

Demotivated?

I bet he's just pretending.

I'll make them pay with their blood...

for what they did to my mother.

Father.

I worked so hard...

to assist you.

Why am I...

still less important than Long Tian Mo to you?

Am I inferior to him...

just because...

he's the son of the empress?

Long Tian Mo!

You don't deserve to be the crown prince at all!

In terms of calibre,

you're nowhere as good as me!

He's conceited but incompetent...

and cowardly.

Yet...

Yet, father...

cares for him...

so much.

Servants!

Bring me wine!

Servants!

Servants!

It's you.

It's me.

What are you doing here?

Are you here to ridicule me?

Ridicule you?

I don't have time for that...

and I won't bother to do so.

If that's the case, what brought you...

to my place?

I've never liked to ridicule people.

I only enjoy...

watching a person...

struggle as he dies.

I believe it'll be very satisfying.

What did you say?

You want to kill me?

The wine...

There's poison in the wine.

-How could you... -If you could harm me,

why can't I return the favour?

Didn't you just say that...

I'm cowardly?

Now, I'll let you know...

what a big mistake means.

Help!

Help!

Help!

Long Tian Qing.

I'll never do something distasteful like your mother.

She's only capable of using dirty tricks like poison.

I won't forget what your mother...

did to my mother.

I'll never forget it.

What nonsense are you saying?

Do nothing...

you would wish to conceal.

But, this wine...

won't kill you so quickly.

As I said,

I love to watch people...

struggle as they die.

You secretly worked with Duke of Qin...

to investigate the embezzlement at the frontier...

and as a result, my uncle died in the prison.

Your mother...

killed my mother with poison.

Now,

you are confined here...

for attempting to kill me.

What do you think I want?

Now, I want you to...

pay with your life.

Long Tian Qing.

You should thank me for being so kind to you.

I only made you suffer so little pain.

Your Highness.

Prince Tian Qing killed himself last night.

What did you say?

Speak.

Speak!

We received news that...

Prince Tian Qing hanged himself last night.

No way.

No way.

Tian Qing just visited me a few days ago.

He even told me to wait patiently.

He wouldn't hang himself.

You're lying.

You're lying to me!

I dare not.

Prior to this, Prince Tian Qing was dismissed from his position and...

put under house arrest by His Majesty...

for attempting to kill the crown prince...

and conspiring for personal interest.

How come I wasn't informed?

It was...

Prince Tian Qing wouldn't let me tell Your Highness.

Get lost.

Get lost.

Get lost!

Yes, Your Highness! I shall excuse myself!

Tian Qing won't kill himself.

Tian Qing won't kill himself.

Chu Qing Ge.

It must be...

It must be Chu Qing Ge's fault.

Mother.

Is this my fault?

It's not your fault.

Tian Qing attempted to kill his own brother.

He committed too many misdeeds.

Instead of executing him, you put him under house arrest.

You were forgiving enough.

But, in my opinion,

Tian Qing isn't the kind of person who would kill himself.

I've sent my men to investigate.

Ever since he was put under house arrest,

he drank excessively every day.

He was drunk last night.

The coroner had examined his body.

There is no external injury...

or poison in his body.

There's only a strangulation mark on his neck.

He was emotionally weak...

and unable to bear the distress.

When you favoured Tian Qing...

and neglected the crown prince,

I...

thought I shouldn't interfere.

I should have...

reminded you earlier...

to strike a balance between them,

so that he won't...

develop those ambitious thoughts...

and cause today's tragedy.

Mother, please don't blame yourself.

It's my fault.

My selfishness caused this.

If I could be fair to the crown prince...

and refrain from indulging Tian Qing,

this wouldn't happen.

I understand.

Don't be too sad.

Perhaps, this is Qing Er's fate.

As a member of the royal family,

he enjoyed fame and wealth.

He did not go through a lot of hardships.

At least he had...

a comfortable life.

My son.

Come.

Don't be too sad.

You still need to manage the state affairs.

You must take care.

Don't worry, mother.

I understand.

I heard that...

after learning about this, Noble Consort Xiao...

went insane.

She has been demanding to see you,

claiming that it was a murder.

I think...

she won't be able to calm down...

and listen to anyone.

Why don't we bring her back...

and let her receive treatment from Imperial Physician Gu?

When you're free...

and by the time she cools down,

you can visit her.

I'm partially responsible...

for her situation today.

Now that Tian Qing is dead,

she's quite a poor woman.

After some time,

I'll visit her.

Whatever it is,

we're husband and wife.

Regardless of what happened between us,

because of Tian Qing's death,

it's time to forgive and forget.

I just hope that...

it can be peaceful in the palace again.

Please let the conflicts stop.

Your Highness, it's time to take your medicine.

Get lost!

You all are trying to harm me!

You all killed my son!

Imperial Physician Gu!

Tian Qing was killed by Chu Qing Ge!

Chu Qing Ge wants to kill Duke of Qin!

Northern Li and Western Qiu have joined hands!

You all have been deceived!

You all have been deceived by a woman!

You all have been deceived by a woman!

This Poison Classic written a thousand years ago...

should have the formula for the zombie poison's antidote.

Even if there's no complete formula,

there should still be some records.

Is this bangle useful?

But, there's no record of the zombie poison in the Poison Classic.

This bangle is the sacred item of our tribe.

Back then, I gave it to your mother.

All books recorded in it...

are the classics of the Poison Sect...

and the Poison Classic has a history of a thousand years.

But, the art of poison kills.

I think...

we should not keep this item any longer.

We should destroy it as soon as possible.

Isn't it pointless to say this now?

If you really have a kind heart,

you wouldn't create the cureless zombie poison.

The art of poison can kill.

But, it can also save lives.

Poison can be used to resolve poison.

When I treat my patients,

I'll use the art of poison to save lives too.

We fear the art of poison...

only because we fear the misuse of it.

The art of poison itself is not at fault.

The ones at fault are those who use the art of poison...

with bad intention.

Yes.

If I had listened to your mother...

and used the art of poison to save lives,

this wouldn't happen.

Now, I can only...

save more people...

for your sake.

You said you're developing a new antidote.

How's progress?

I just started.

Hopefully, I can succeed.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Rise.

Mr. Sun, are you summoned to report back...

because Emperor Tian Hui...

has started suspecting you?

Please rest assured.

I was very cautious.

His Majesty doesn't suspect me at all.

I serve Your Highness.

We've waited for a long time.

The time has come.

We may proceed as planned.

I've been waiting for this day.

Our former forces at the southern border...

are my main forces for reviving the country.

You'll lead the troops. Split up into three groups...

and enter the capital separately. Understand?

Yes, Your Highness.

The southern border neighbours Northern Li...

and is close to Western Qiu.

All these years,

because of your protection,

the folks at the border enjoy peace.

If Northern Li and Western Qiu learns about our plan,

they might take the opportunity to attack.

Your Highness may rest assured.

The pass at the southern border is forbidding...

and heavily guarded.

Even if we send our elite troops to the capital,

Northern Li and Western Qiu...

won't succeed if they attack.

Western Qiu and Northern Li might be allies,

but in order to avoid being discovered by Emperor Tian Hui,

they didn't officially form an alliance...

or sign an agreement.

They have their own agenda.

So, they won't pose a threat to us.

Your Highness is right.

I'll be counting on you, Mr. Sun.

Please don't say that.

By assisting Your Highness to restore the regime of Qin Xi,

I can finally repay...

the late emperor.

I was the one who turned Long Fei Ye...

into a poison zombie.

He hates me so much.

He won't forgive me.

Ironically, Yun Xi is my daughter.

This sinful relationship...

will not come to fruition.

Why should I...

let her learn about all these?

Relationship and hatred are two separate matters.

Can you forget my mother?

Western Qiu and Northern Li have joined hands.

Chu Qing Ge entered the palace in order to...

murder Duke of Qin.
