[Dimsum. My Ver] E31 Legend of Yun Xi Synced to KoreanDramax.me RAW -♥ Hafiz Adam ♥-

Episode 31

Greetings, Duke of Qin.

Greetings, Duchess of Qin.

-Greetings, my brother. -Greetings, Your Majesty.

Both of you entered the palace together.

What's the matter?

We came to beg of Your Majesty...

to spare my father's life,

considering the fact that he has dutifully served...

the royal family for so many years.

It is evident that Han Cong An is guilty of corruption.

It's unfair if I don't punish him.

But, you may rest assured.

Since you've married Brother Fei Ye,

you're a member of the royal family.

You won't be implicated.

If I can cure the crown prince,

will Your Majesty spare my father?

Duchess of Qin.

I know you're an excellent physician.

But, can you surpass your father?

Even your father failed to cure the crown prince.

He even wasted our time...

and put him in critical condition.

Why should I believe that you can cure the crown prince?

If I fail to cure the crown prince,

I'm willing to bear all consequences.

Bear all consequences?

How?

You want me to kill you?

If I do that,

Brother Fei Ye will hate me forever.

Right?

If Yun Xi fails to cure the crown prince,

I'm willing to be punished on behalf of her.

You want to be punished on behalf of her?

How do you want to be punished on behalf of her?

I'm willing to go to the desolated Ning Nan as the envoy of Tian Ning...

to establish diplomatic relations with them...

and make them serve us.

I'll make them fight for Tian Ning.

How do you guarantee that?

Are you willing to...

write a military pledge?

I've already prepared it.

Good.

Since you're willing to be the guarantor,

Duchess of Qin,

you may treat the crown prince.

Han Cong An will be confined for now.

If you care cure the crown prince,

I can pardon Han Family for all offenses.

If you fail,

Han Cong Han will have to die...

and I will have to trouble Brother Fei Ye...

to go to Ning Nan.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

But, I need the blood of the Poison Beast for the treatment.

The duke and I will go to Tian Keng and find the Poison Beast now.

The little Poison Beast?

I already forgot that...

in Tian Keng,

there is a Poison Beast that can cure strange poisons.

The crown prince has lost too much time.

Go and come back quickly.

-Yes. -Yes.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

The duchess volunteered to save the crown prince.

Duke of Qin has submitted a military pledge...

to His Majesty.

Military pledge?

What military pledge?

It is rumoured that...

if the duchess fails to cure the crown prince,

Duke of Qin will have to leave for Ning Nan...

to be the envoy of Tian Ning...

and he can only come back when the people of Ning Nan...

submits to Tian Ning.

No wonder His Majesty agreed to her request.

If Duke of Qin goes to Ning Nan as Tian Ning's envoy,

he'll be far from Tian Ning's political centre.

He won't be able to extend his influence to the capital...

and His Majesty can restore all his power and influence.

If he secretly leaves Ning Nan,

it's defiance of order...

and His Majesty will have a proper reason to punish him.

But Your Highness,

there's one thing I don't understand.

What is it?

Although our situation in the palace is getting better,

as long as Prince Tian Qing is around,

we'll be threatened.

So, why did you poison the crown prince?

He's our only ally now.

You don't understand, nanny.

Northern Li sent an envoy to meet me that day...

because they are dissatisfied as there isn't much change...

in Tian Ning even though we've been here for so long.

So, they threatened me with my younger brother.

What?

No way.

His Majesty is perfectly fine in Western Qiu.

He's protected by his officials and army.

Why is Northern Li so inflated?

Now, in the court of Western Qiu,

only the prime minister and the senior officials...

are really assisting my brother.

Although my uncle is no longer as powerful as before,

he still covets the throne.

If I didn't marry the emperor of Tian Ning...

to gain external aid from Northern Li...

and support from Tian Ning,

I'm afraid Western Qiu...

would have fallen into my uncle's hands.

But, Northern Li is ambitious too.

What should we do?

I foresaw this outcome.

But, I had no room to hesitate back then.

Western Qiu is weak.

We can only strive to survive.

So, I want Tian Ning and Northern Li to get into a fight,

so that they have no time for Western Qiu.

I'll wait patiently...

until Tian Ying grows up.

When he can gain control and suppress our uncle,

I will make use of Tian Ning...

to deal with Northern Li.

It's been so hard on Your Highness.

But, what about the crown prince?

I think it's a waste...

to sacrifice an ally like this.

Don't worry, nanny.

His Majesty will definitely do something about it.

The crown prince is his son after all.

Your Highness.

Do you think the duchess can cure the crown prince?

This is such a good opportunity.

How can she not treasure it?

Looks like it'll soon be chaotic in Tian Ning.

Nanny.

Go inform Gu Qi Shao...

and tell him to plan ahead.

Yes.

I'll go at once.

Your Highness.

The crown prince will die within 4 days.

But, Duke of Qin...

gave His Majesty a military pledge...

and went to Tian Keng to capture the Poison Beast...

to obtain its blood to make an antidote for the crown prince.

This is such a good opportunity.

I can't miss it.

If necessary,

I can kill him.

Your Highness.

Since Duke of Qin submitted a military pledge,

I'll say he might really be capable of...

obtaining the antidote.

So, should we send men to...

intercept and assassinate him?

This is definitely not a simple matter.

Father has always felt threatened by my uncle.

He won't miss a good opportunity like this.

However, my father...

won't put Long Tian Mo's life at stake either.

As such, we must be cautious.

If that's the case,

based on your knowledge of His Majesty's personality,

what do you think His Majesty will do?

So, if Duke of Qin doesn't return to the capital within 4 days,

Long Tian Mo will definitely die.

That's right.

I don't know what my father is planning to do.

But, he definitely won't put Long Tian Mo's life at stake.

If we intercept him without a good plan,

Duke of Qin is strong...

and once we're exposed,

the consequence will be serious.

What will Your Highness do?

Alright.

Send men to tail Duke of Qin.

Keep this in mind. Just follow from a distance.

Don't be discovered.

If my guess is correct,

my father must have sent skillful fighters...

to assassinate Duke of Qin.

My uncle might be strong,

but his enemy is in the dark.

He has no way to guard against them.

If this is the case,

when the two parties engage in a fight...

and are weakened in the process,

we can take advantage of the situation...

and snatch the little Poison Beast.

It is said that the little Poison Beast...

can cure all poisons in the world.

I'll be able to obtain a precious treasure...

and get rid of Long Tian Mo at the same time.

Your Highness.

If His Majesty didn't send assassins to kill the duke,

what should we do?

Do you have any suggestion?

We can't...

have both things...

at one time.

Your Highness.

I'm sorry.

I put you into a difficult situation.

It's not your fault.

If we must blame someone,

I'm the one to be blamed.

I was the one who put you,

Han Cong An...

and even the entire Han Family...

into a desperate situation.

You don't have to console me.

Anyway, no matter what happens,

let's face it together.

Have you packed up?

Your Highness.

If we can't find the little Poison Beast,

will you really go to a desolated place like Ning Nan?

Am I a man who will take risks?

I've my own plan.

What plan?

My main forces...

are at the southern border.

Even if His Majesty...

sends me to the southern border,

I'll actually get to free myself from His Majesty's monitoring.

This will only benefit...

my future deployment.

No wonder you love to play chess.

You always move ahead of others.

Have you recovered?

Thank you for the concern, Your Majesty.

I've almost fully recovered.

Since you failed in your missions to...

find the Poison Master and poison zombie,

I will now...

assign you a new mission...

for you to make up for your failures.

If you fail again,

I...

will not go easy on you.

Thank you, Your Majesty!

Duke of Qin will go to Tian Keng to look for the Poison Beast.

Wait outside of the entrance of Tian Keng.

Once he comes out,

kill him...

and bring the Poison Beast back,

so that I can use it to treat the crown prince.

Understand?

We will give our all to accomplish our mission!

Go.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

The crown prince ordered you all to leave.

Your Highness.

His Majesty said to give up on you.

Prince Tian Qing is going to win.

Father.

Are you really going to sacrifice me...

in order to get rid of Duke of Qin?

Come, poison girl.

These are all the medicines I prepared for you.

The first one is a medicated oil for external application.

The second one contains pills for oral consumption.

The third one is medicinal powder that can resist the Sha Poison.

I really don't know how to thank the two of you.

You're welcome, Your Highness.

By the time you can repay us,

we'll be all bones.

Is there any imperfection...

in your medicines?

Imperfection?

My medicines are perfect.

In this case,

should I go to Tian Keng with you...

to capture that Poison Beast?

No.

Why?

Tian Keng is too dangerous.

Do you think I'm afraid?

Qi Shao.

You've done so much for me.

If I put you in danger,

I'll feel very guilty.

Poison girl.

You know I'll never blame you.

-I knew it. -You...

What did I say again?

She'll never repay us.

Sorry.

Alright. Enough jokes.

Go. But, please stay safe.

Since my job is done,

I shall excuse myself.

Goodbye, Imperial Physician Gu.

Goodbye.

Alright.

Should I go with...

Go back.

I need to pack up.

How can you be so heartless?

You always dismiss me when you don't need me.

Li Quan.

Yes, Your Majesty.

Which between my reign...

and my prince is more important?

Your Majesty.

Please rest assured.

The crown prince will surely recover.

My question,

which between my reign and my son is more important?

In my opinion,

both are important.

Apply more and be thorough.

Understand?

-Yes! -Yes!

Are you sure Duke of Qin will pass by this place?

Your Highness may rest assured.

This is the only road that leads to Tian Keng.

Apply poison on every hidden weapon.

I've instructed our men to do so.

Very soon.

Even if I cause a delay in Long Tian Mo's treatment,

as long as I manage to kill Duke of Qin,

my father won't be angry with me.

Your Highness is right.

Once we arrive in Tian Quan Inn,

Tang Li will swap identities with me...

and Yun Xi will swap identities with Ning Jing.

Swap identities?

Yun Xi and I will...

meet up with Bai Xiao Chuan's men.

The rest of you...

will treat Tang Li and Ning Ji...

as the duke and duchess...

and escort them to Tian Keng.

If you all run into danger on the way,

retreat to Tian Quan Inn immediately.

Yes.

What are you laughing at?

I'm laughing at you.

You don't look like Brother Fei Ye. You look like a stiff little guard.

Can you act like Han Yun Xi then?

Sure.

Let me think.

Brother Fei Ye.

Look at my clothes.

Do I look pretty?

You look more like a maid.

What did you say?

No.

You look like a lady from a prestigious family.

You don't look like a maid.

You don't look like a maid.

Tang Li.

Because you don't know what to say,

you're using an indirect way to mock me?

What do you want?

Don't tell me you want to beat me again.

You got it right.

Take this!

-I'm sorry. -Stop right there!

They are coming.

That's the only road that leads to Tian Keng indeed.

Let's go over immediately.

-Let's go. -Let's go.

Sit properly.

-Sit properly. -The horse...

The horse isn't steady.

Don't move.

Sit properly.

I'm telling you to sit properly.

Come.

Let's go.

The duke and duchess are on their own.

What if there's an ambush?

Don't worry.

They have a very safe shortcut...

and our job is to fool the men sent by...

Emperor Tian Hui and Prince Tian Qing.

They'll be fine.

I'm still worried.

I'm going to order our strongest guards to come...

and protect the duke and duchess.

That'll make it even more dangerous.

They said to travel without any escort.

You guys will just need to protect me and Ning Jing.

The more defensive we seem,

the more the enemy will believe us...

and the safer Brother Fei Ye and Han Yun Xi will be.

Besides,

we have so many guards.

The enemy will surely be fooled.

Don't worry.

Alright.

Stop.

What's the matter, Your Highness?

This is a good spot for ambush.

We should be more cautious.

Slow down.

Understood.

Who are you people?

Your Highness.

I am Thunder from the palace.

I came upon His Majesty's order...

to secretly monitor Duke of Qin.

Your Highness.

We killed so many of His Majesty's men.

Will His Majesty punish us?

Looks like...

we can only silence them.

Kill all of them!

There's an ambush ahead!

Protect the duke!

Retreat!

Your Highness.

Now, we must kill Duke of Qin...

to make up for it.

Go after Duke of Qin first!

-You guys hold it up! Come with me! -Let's go!

What took you so long?

Your men have been waiting.

The shortcut to Tian Keng is right ahead.

Let's go in.

Qi Shao.

I told you not to come. What are you doing here?

You're just worried about me getting hurt, right?

What should I worried about when you're with me?

Besides, I came to protect you.

I don't need your protection. Go back.

I'm just kidding.

I actually came here...

to kill someone.

Unfortunately, he didn't show up.

Besides,

you guys didn't take the main road.

Your Highness, according to our secret guards, the duke is inside.

Come here. Give me a shoulder massage.

Why should I?

I was busy pretending to be Han Yun Xi...

and that wore me out.

I... I was busy pretending to be Brother Fei Ye too.

He's such a stiff and serious person.

Why don't you try being stiff for one whole day?

I've to take care of you and my mother-in-law every day.

I'm always so busy. Massage my leg.

Am I not busy?

I even need to clean up after you.

Why don't you give me a massage?

You clean up after me?

Who ran away from our wedding and made me clean up his mess for him?

You're Han Yun Xi now.

I don't care. You've to treat me the way Brother Fei Ye treats Yun Xi.

-Massage my shoulders. -Dream on.

Han Yun Xi even washed Brother Fei Ye's feet before.

Why don't you wash my feet for me?

Can you two cut it out?

The duke and duchess...

aren't so brazen.

Let's go.

His Majesty's men are here too?

Good.

I'll get rid of them together.

How come there are only two of them?

Let's wait a little longer.

I can't believe those two guards...

are so skillful.

Your Highness.

Looks like Duke of Qin...

has many strong helpers.

Luckily, we didn't make a move.

Otherwise, our effort would be wasted.

Looks like this uncle of mine...

isn't so easy to deal with.

Your Highness.

Why don't we think of a way to outsmart them instead?

Wind, are you alright?

Wind, what exactly happened?

Why are you alone?

Rain is dead.

Rain is dead.

Duke of Qin's secret guards are extremely strong.

I couldn't get near at all.

We only have 3 days left.

If Long Fei Ye doesn't leave for Tian Keng immediately...

and capture the Poison Beast,

the crown prince will die.

What is he waiting for in the inn?

Is he not afraid of getting punished by His Majesty?

Prince Tian Qing's men...

are waiting outside of the inn as well.

Long Fei Ye won't dare to come out.

-Prince Tian Qing. -You haven't even started...

and one of you died.

Why don't you join hands with me...

to kill Duke of Qin?

But, His Majesty instructed us...

to let Long Fei Ye capture the Poison Beast...

before killing him.

And you think you can do it?

Long Fei Ye is protected by so many skillful guards.

You won't be able to hurt him.

Even if he manages to capture the Poison Beast,

it's still impossible for you to kill him.

If you can't kill him,

my father won't spare you.

So, your best option now...

is to work with me and get the job done in one go.

Perhaps, you will have a chance.

But...

If the crown prince dies,

the three of us will be killed!

Look.

If the crown prince dies,

who will be...

the next heir to the throne?

By then,

His Majesty will make Prince Tian Qing the crown prince.

Will you still have to worry about...

losing your lives?

If you don't want to die,

you know you can find some hope in us.

In this case,

Your Highness,

what do we need to do next?

You'll only need to...

help me to deal with those skillful fighters outside of the inn.

If I can lead my troops into the inn,

I can surely...

get rid of all of them.

Your Highness, as you said, Long Fei Ye has many strong guards.

Even Wind and Rain...

Long Fei Ye himself...

is unrivalled.

Even if we can lure those guards away,

I don't think it'll be easy to kill him.

You don't have to...

worry about that.

We shall obey Your Highness' command!

Be extra alert.

This place is full of traps.

Be very careful.

-Yes. -Yes.

Your Highness.

The archers are ready.

Nothing will go wrong.

This plan of yours...

is cruel enough.

I only do so for the sake of Your Highness.

Please don't feel offended.

I'm sincerely complimenting you.

-I'm flattered. -Not at all.

You ordered Wind and the others to lure my uncle's guards away...

in order to make use of my uncle's men...

to silence them.

If Wind and the others manage to come out alive,

I can...

trap them here...

and have them shot to death.

Your Highness is exceptionally clever indeed.

My thoughts and actions...

can never escape your eyes.

Now, we'll just have to trap Duke of Qin...

in this inn until tomorrow.

Even if he manages to find the Poison Beast,

he won't make it back to the palace in time...

to treat the crown prince.

Tang Li.

-What? -Come here.

Come here.

Let me tell you something.

Let go.

Brother Fei Ye told me that...

someone will surely come and check on us at night.

We must look real.

Don't let them expose us.

But, we don't need to be so close.

This is for the sake of Brother Yun Fei and Yun Xi.

Who will believe us if we're not close?

You always

I'm only doing this...

for Brother Fei Ye.

What do you mean?

I'm the one getting the short end of the stick.

I'm a maiden. Yet, I've to share a room...

with a man at night...

and even act all lovey-dovey with him. This is so improper.

If people learn of this,

I'll be too ashamed to live on.

Lower your voice.

But,

I've never seen Brother Fei Ye...

acting lovey-dovey with Han Yun Xi in front of outsiders before.

Outsiders will surely know that...

they've consummated their marriage.

They are a loving and harmonious couple.

Right?

Tang Li.

You scoundrel!

Where's the poison girl?

Poison girl!

Why is the poison girl gone?

Is anybody here?

Is anybody here?

Is anybody here?

Is anybody here?

How odd.

I'm sure someone pulled me.

Where is everybody?

Where am I?

Chief.

The manuscript of the poison formulae...

was actually with Long Fei Ye.

I can't believe...

even you can't cure her.

Her Beauty Blood...

reacted with the Sha Poison...

and formed a new poison.

I've never seen this kind of poison before.

It's too irresistible.

I must study it.

What kind of poison is it?

To say that it's a poison,

it's actually more like an evil energy.

After invading a human body,

it will perturb...

and even manipulate the person's mind...

to make this person cruel and evil.

I've yet to find the antidote.

As such, I put her into slumber,

so that I can study and control her conveniently.

Chief.

I've sent Han Yun Xi...

to the Poison Beast's lair.

Very good.

We'll proceed as planned.

Alright.

Put her in a safe place.
