"Episode 28"

Your Highness.

These are the pastries made by Imperial Concubine of Qin.

Have they eaten?

They have went out early in the morning.

So early?

Why did they go out?

His Highness said that you're going to the temple for prayer soon.

So, Her Highness wants to make some nutritional pills for you.

So, she took His Highness along and went to the market to buy herbs.

These 2 kids.

They should enjoy themselves at the market.

They don't have to keep thinking about me.

Your Highness is blessed.

Her Highness is very filial to you.

Nanny Gui.

You quietly go and see.

See what these 2 kids want to buy.

Coincidentally, I would like to buy some for them.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Don't keep blaming yourself.

You've been obedient to mother all these years.

She is very happy too.

If she knows that you're not her biological son,

she will surely be heartbroken.

But this can't cover the fact that I used her.

The better she treats me,

the more guilty I felt.

Regardless if you're her biological son,

your affection for each other can't be broken.

Precisely because of this,

I couldn't bring myself to tell her that the real Long Fei Ye is dead.

So long as I'm alive,

I'll live on using Long Fei Ye's identity.

and to do the filial duty for him.

The real Long Fei Ye would be grateful to you.

Let's go to the store and buy something to cheer her up.

Let's go.

Miss, I've done what you asked me to do.

Imperial Father and Mother.

I've been an unfilial son.

I could only worship you in secret.

Right now, the land has split into 3 kingdoms.

The expedition goes on for years.

Qin Xi dynasty has long been in devastation.

I failed to protect the Qin Xi people.

I'm ashamed to face you.

Brother Fei Ye.

This is not your fault.

Brother.

We will definitely win.

Imperial Father and Mother.

So long as I'm alive,

I'll surely unite Qin Xi dynasty.

I'll make sure Qin Xi people live and work in peace and contentment.

By the time,

I'll worship you in an open and above board manner.

-Prepare the carriage. -Yes.

Brother Fei Ye.

Brother Fei Ye.

Tang Li.

Tang Li. Tang Li.

Are you all right?

I'm fine.

Tang Li.

Where's Brother Fei Ye?

Aren't we going to the temple today to worship the late emperor?

Where is he?

He's...

already at the temple.

So early?

Why didn't you go to the temple with him today?

I've went to worship.

He asked me to come back first.

He...

He and Han Yun Xi are still at the temple.

My brother seems to have fallen in love with her.

Tang Li.

Do you really think that they are a match?

I used to dislike her.

But after seeing her risked her life to save my brother,

I think that she's...

not too bad.

Have I thought of my own life then?

I understand your feelings.

But love can't be forced.

Look. Ning Jing is always after me too.

But that's pointless.

If you don't like her, then you don't.

Ning Jing and I are different.

You and Brother Fei Ye are different too.

Your Highness.

Both Highnesses went to the market and bought joss stick and candles.

Then, they headed into the direction of the temple.

Temple?

Why did they go to the temple?

Perhaps, they went to pray for Your Highness.

Prepare the carriage.

Imperial Father.

Imperial Mother.

I'm here to visit you.

The one beside me is my imperial concubine.

She's your daughter-in-law.

Greetings, Imperial Father and Mother.

I've achieved great victory in the battle with Western Qiu.

I hope that one day,

I can stop the wars,

and bring peace to the people.

Don't worry, Imperial Father and Mother.

I'll do my best to treat His Highness,

take a good care of him,

and be a good wife of his.

Miss Ming Xiang.

His Highness is worshipping in there. You can't go in.

I used to accompany Brother Fei Ye.

Why can't I go in today?

I'm just following the order.

Don't put me in a difficult situation.

I want to go in.

Miss Ming Xiang.

I'm going in no matter what.

-I want to see him. -You really can't go in.

Xi Feng, let her in.

Forgive me. Please follow me.

Your Highness.

Miss Ming Xiang is here.

Ming Xiang.

You're not well. You didn't have to come.

It seems like you have Poison Master already,

and I'm not of any use anymore.

It doesn't matter if Poison Master will recover.

Yun Xi and I will find a way to treat the Beauty Blood poison in your body.

But I'm willing to bear these pains.

I've too been severely poisoned with Poison Gu.

I know the pain during the poison outbreak.

How can I watch you suffer like I did?

Without Beauty Blood,

I'll be worthless to you.

Wouldn't I be more suffering?

Ming Xiang.

Remember this.

Even without the Beauty Blood,

I'll treat you like my sister too.

Sister?

Sister?

I should have expected this.

I know what's on your mind now.

Bai Li Ming Xiang has long not regarded you as her brother.

But there's no room for anyone else in my heart.

I know you feel guilty towards her.

So, I'll surely find a way to make an antidote.

"King Xuan Zhen"

"King Xuan Zhen"

Your Highness.

You're quick-witted.

When Crown Prince informed us,

that Her Majesty is secretly investigating Noble Consort Xiao,

you've asked Gu Qi Shao,

for some medicines that could produce similar illness.

Otherwise, it will not be that easy to defeat Noble Consort Xiao.

Noble Consort Xiao appears to be arrogant and despotic.

She seems vicious and merciless.

But she's actually a coward and timid person.

After I've been poisoned,

she continued to send poisoned pastries to me.

She would never be able to come up with this move.

You're saying that 2nd Prince...

I've never met him.

But to be highly regarded by Emperor Tian Hui,

and feared by the Crown Prince,

I think that he's not a simple person.

Also, Noble Consort Xiao has committed such a big crime,

Emperor Tian Hui still didn't sentence her to death.

Other than being mindful of years of marital relations,

he's still concerned about 2nd Prince.

After Noble Consort Xiao's downfall,

will 2nd Prince hold grudges and go against you?

Don't worry, nanny.

This is the royal harem after all.

It's better for us to be more cautious.

Your Highness, the wife of the Western Qiu's envoy would like to see you.

-All right. Bring her in. -Yes.

Nanny.

Why did Western Qiu suddenly send an envoy here? Did something happen?

We'll know when she comes in.

Your Highness, Western Qiu people came to see you.

His Majesty might be keeping a close watch.

It's better for us to be more careful.

Nanny, keep guard out there.

Be careful. Walls have ears.

Greetings, princess.

Who is this?

Since she's sent on a diplomatic mission,

she must be the wife of a highly ranked official.

But I've never seen her in Western Qiu.

Did anything happen in Western Qiu?

Although I'm the wife of Western Qiu's envoy,

I'm actually sent by Northern Li's Crown Prince, Jun Yi Zheng,

to convey his greetings.

It seems like you're well-liked by Tian Ning's emperor.

But don't forget the current situation in Western Qiu,

and the purpose of coming to Tian Ning.

I'll surely not forget national enmity and family feud.

Emperor Tian Hui's research on poison zombie has gotten preliminary results.

We've to undermine Tian Ning's position,

and continue to cause political issues.

But judging from the current situation, the effect is minimal.

We can't wait any longer.

So, Crown Prince ordered me to tell you,

to find a way to poison Long Tian Mo.

Let him be the primer to ignite Tian Ning.

All right. I understand.

I need 2 types of medicine.

They're non-poisonous if used separately.

But once mixed,

it's very poisonous.

These are available in Yao Gui Valley. Find a way to tell them.

All right.

-Qi Shao. -What's the matter?

Jun Yi Zheng has brought news from Chu Qing Ge.

Chu Qing Ge wants 2 types of poisonous herbs.

It seems like there's another storm in the palace.

Mother.

You're going to temple for spiritual praying.

It's inconvenient for daily grooming.

His Highness and I have prepared something for you.

Mother.

This is a little token of appreciation from us.

Please accept it.

Your Highness.

This swan's neck cleansing brush is from Hua Xi Kou.

If you wash your face with it,

it's clean and gentle.

It removes impurities and nourishes the skin too.

This bottle is made of white jade.

Thank you.

I accepted it.

Yun Xi, help me to watch them pack up.

I'll go check on Ming Xiang.

Yes, mother.

Ming Xiang.

Aunt.

I've brought some pastries for you.

Ming Xiang.

I know what's on your mind.

Back then,

I was hoping that you'll get married to Fei Ye too.

From the sounds of things,

that's not what you wish for right now.

Both of them,

are a pair of love birds.

If you get married now,

it'll not be fair for you.

I don't care about it.

Silly girl.

You have to find someone who loves and cares for you.

Only then, you'll be happy.

Back then, when I was married to the late emperor,

I couldn't even see my own son.

I was crying over it every single day.

Could you comprehend that sadness?

I do.

Ming Xiang.

I'm an example of failure.

So, I don't want you to follow my footsteps.

You should find someone better.

Ming Xiang.

I'll be going to the temple for several months.

Why don't you come with me?

You're going to the temple to seek peace.

I don't want to disturb you.

All right.

If that's the case,

I wouldn't force you.

Actually, there are many good men of the right age in the Capital.

After I'm back from prayer,

I'll bring you to see them.

All right?

Aunt.

I'm feeling a little sleepy.

I'll go and take a rest first.

All right.

Have a good rest.

This kid has to depend on herself to walk out of it.

Don't worry, Your Highness.

Miss Ming Xiang will come around it.

I hope so.

I didn't expect that aunt disapproves of me and Brother Fei Ye too.

Han Yun Xi.

Why did you get everyone's approval?

Why?

Brother Fei Ye.

I'll surely be able to develop Beauty Blood.

I can surely treat Poison Gu for you.

By then, you'll know who is really good for you.

Fei Ye, you're not young anymore.

It's time for you to settle down and have children.

Both of you need to work hard on that.

I hope that I can hear a good news from you when I'm back.

Don't worry, mother.

I'll leave then.

Be safe, mother.

What are you looking at?

Why did I run?

You're His Highness's lawfully wedded wife.

It's normal to have children with His Highness.

That's right. I can't be shy.

I've to face him courageously.

I'm going to decoct herbs.

Stop.

I want to make a trip to the palace.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Greetings, Your Majesty.

Rise.

Bestow a seat.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

I've investigated the Duke of Qin's identity.

Ignore those rumours, Your Majesty.

The Duke of Qin is indeed mine and late emperor's son.

This is beyond all doubt.

That means that you have a solid evidence, right?

He's my son.

Of course I wouldn't mistaken him.

The existence of Fei Ye,

is the greatest blessing...

given by God and the late emperor.

That's good then.

I can be at ease then.

Your Majesty.

I have a presumptuous request.

There's no harm to speak up.

Your Majesty and Fei Ye are the late emperor's sons.

That means that you're both,

biological siblings, whose blood is thicker than the water.

This kid is stubborn.

He doesn't know the ways of the world.

I hope that,

as the elder brother,

you'll take a good care of him in the future.

What are you saying?

I'll surely look after my brother.

Don't worry.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

I have other things to attend to. I'll excuse myself.

Be safe.

Farewell, Your Highness.

Your Majesty.

Judging from her looks,

she has never suspected Long Fei Ye's identity.

You can't believe entirely on what she said.

Your Majesty still have to be wary.

Han Yun Xi knew that Lady Tian Xin is dead.

She's no longer a pawn that we can use.

But this girl is very tricky.

I didn't expect it.

Imperial Mother.

You can't be blamed.

Since we have no evidence,

we can't openly take down the Duke of Qin.

I didn't expect that,

Han Yun Xi would be able to win over the Duke of Qin's heart.

So, it seems like,

the information that she provided,

regarding Long Fei Ye having Wind Tribe's imprint,

is a fraudulent report.

We have no ostensible purpose.

We can't just blindly examine to verify his birthmark.

Let's not act rashly and alert the enemy.

This is so he wouldn't be on guard against us,

and complicate things further.

Your Majesty.

This can't be delayed any further.

You have to seize the moment.

We can only find other ways.

Your Highness.

I've found out that the Poison Master has went to Tian Keng.

Those who attacked Yue Pavilion that night were Northern Li people.

Northern Li people?

Find out the exact identities of these men in black suits.

Also, find out their ulterior motive of hiding in Tian Ning.

Yes.

You're dismissed.

Yes.

Zhu Yu.

-Why are you here? -Yun Xi.

Qi Shao has developed a new Qing Hua poison.

He wants to invite you over.

It's fine if you're not willing to go.

But it's a pity.

When Qi Shao invented it, he was thinking that you'll surely like it.

It's not that.

All right. I'll go with you.

Do you want to ask His Highness first then?

No.

I got married here, not being locked here.

Can't I meet my friend? Let's go.

Your Highness.

Are you going out?

Senior brother.

Yun Xi is going to Yao Gui Valley to find Gu Qi Shao again.

Aren't you going to stop her?

She likes to study on herbs.

Let her go.

Chu Xi Feng will keep her company.

Senior brother.

You're very open-minded.

Your love rival came right to the door to snatch your wife.

Yun Xi is right.

You're indeed an ice prince.

I know what you want to say.

You trust her. You trust her.

Qi Shao.

I didn't expect that Zhu Yu could bring you here.

Qi Shao.

You're not right to say that.

What's the matter?

I just didn't have a good rest in these few days.

Right.

This is for you.

What is this?

I can tell by counting with my fingers.

The medicine for treating insanity should be used up.

I don't need it anymore.

But still, thank you.

You really don't need it anymore?

Right. How's it going with the Qing Hua poison?

Follow me.

Qi Shao is showing Qing Hua poison to Your Highness.

Would you like to try my new wine?

New wine?

It's more mellow and richer than ever.

Well, I've to give it a try then.

The colour is too dark. Its toxicity isn't right.

That's why I asked you here to have a look at it.

Help me to work on it.

You've taken so much of my medicine here.

It's time to repay me now.

Are you sick?

-Let me see. -I'm all right.

I caught a cold few days back.

I've been very busy recently.

So, I didn't take a good care of myself. Don't worry.

What a shame. You're guarding such a large medicine field.

But you neglected your own sickness.

Right. Where's Bai Su?

I haven't seen her for sometime.

She has went home.

Let's not talk about this.

Zhu Yu has made some new plum blossom wine.

Do you want to have a drink with me?

So, you asked me here to drink with me.

That's good.

-Let's have a drink then. -Let's go.

Let's enjoy while we can.

Come. Cheers.

Qi Shao.

Are you in a bad mood?

Did something happen?

No.

Come. Let's continue.

Don't stop. Come.

If you won't tell me, I'll not drink with you then.

I'm really fine.

It's just some past events.

Too many things to worry about.

I couldn't stop or figure them out.

So, it's a relationship problem.

Yes, it is.

The girl that I like has a poison in her house.

I really wish to get this poison.

But I couldn't buy or take it away.

I could only make her sneak it out for me.

But I don't want to use her.

So, I'm really troubled.

What poison is it that you're so obsessed with?

I won't tell you.

I was thinking of giving it to you if I have it.

I won't now even if I had it.

Which girl is it?

It's...

Qi Shao.

Qi Shao.

I'm not drunk.

Qi Shao.

If you like her,

don't keep harping on her treasure.

You've to be brave to go after her.

With your looks and talent, it's not that difficult.

Let's drink. Let's drink.

Drink. Drink.

Do you know which girl he likes?

Let's drink. Let's drink.

Qi Shao usually only tells secret with Bai Su.

I'm a blabbermouth.

He wouldn't tell such an important thing to me.

He's so tight-lipped?

It's unlike him at all.

Forget it then.

It's late.

I'll go back first.

From the looks of it,

the Poison Master is cured of his insanity.

Do you think that Long Fei Ye is able to find the Poison Master?

Poison Master is adept with poisons.

Poison girl wouldn't let Long Fei Ye face him alone.

I'll keep inviting poison girl over to develop new poison.

If poison girl is not in Duke of Qin Manor for several days,

she might be out looking for Poison Master.

This is quite a good idea.

Brother Fei Ye is still studying "Poison Gu Scriptures".

Could there be any secret hidden in it?

"Zi Jian Manor"

"General token plate"

I'm Bai Xiao Chuan.

Greetings, Miss Ming Xiang.

Please rise, general.

I often hear my father mentioning about you.

How can I help you?

I want you to help me catch someone.

I obey your order.

Won't you ask who is it to catch?

I'm grateful to general for his patronage.

Since you're using general's token plate,

I presumed that this must be general's arrangement.

So, no matter what it is,

I'll do everything in my power and give my full cooperation.

All right.

But remember. This matter can only be carried out in secret.

Make sure that this is not leaked out.

I understand.

Your Highness, I should be the one to send the wine.

-If Crown Prince finds out... -It's safer for me to go.

-But... -Don't worry.

This is not a big deal for me.

But we need to figure out how to add the poison,

in His Majesty's spices without being discovered.

It's full of traps.

Everyone must be careful.

Miss, I'll explore the paths first.

All right.
