[Dimsum. My Ver] E04 Legend of Yun Xi Synced to KoreanDramax.me RAW -♥ Hafiz Adam ♥-

"Episode 4"

Hurry up and move.

Let's go.

It's the wedding night.

Where are you bringing me to?

You…

You're the Duke of Qin?

Hurry up and help me to the bed.

Qi Shao.

Are you the girl who previously trespassed into the valley?

It's Miss Yu Ze.

Yu Ze.

Return to Wan Yan Pavilion after changing your clothes.

Take care, Qi Shao.

I'll excuse myself.

An unrequited love.

Qi Shao is involved in another love affair.

Speak up. What's the matter?

Right. There's news from the above.

Qi Shao, is there any good news?

I'm not sure if its a good new just yet.

Qi Shao, we've found out what was the blood,

that the Crown Prince brought back previously.

It's definitely a good thing for you to be so unrestrained.

The blood that the Crown Prince brought back,

contains an element of Poison Gu.

He's looking for Poison Gu nurturer.

Where there's Poison Gu nurturer, there's Poison Sect.

I've long suspected that,

the Crown Prince and Royal Uncle imprisoned,

Poison Sect's people in the manor.

However, they've strong defence.

I'm not fully prepared too.

Thus, I didn't act recklessly.

But I didn't expect that,

the Duke of Qin is also trying to take a move on the Poison Sect.

Qi Shao.

Since the Duke of Qin has abducted,

Poison Gu nurturer from him,

and the Crown Prince dares not inform His Majesty.

Are they hiding something from the Emperor of Tian Ning?

The Crown Prince of Tian Ning,

the Duke of Qin,

and His Majesty,

don't get along well.

Just add fire to the fuel within them,

they would destroy one another.

Prepare the horses.

I'm going to meet the Crown Prince.

Are you really the Duke of Qin?

Help me undress.

It was a good timing just now,

and I didn't take a look at his imprint.

Your Highness.

The poison in your body hasn't been completely eliminated.

The herb is not right.

Not right?

I just used the needle to temporarily suppress the toxicity in your body.

The rests can only be eliminated after taking the medicine.

Try to take a deep breath if you don't believe it.

You'll see if there's a pain located 2 inches below the heart.

So, you're saying that,

this is not an antidote?

You've got quite some nerves.

I'm…

I was afraid that...

you're the assassin who tried to assassinate the Duke of Qin.

You can't be spared for sure.

With that being said,

you're still thinking on my behalf.

Of course.

Where's the antidote?

Your Highness.

You've been poisoned with a very rare poison.

I don't have a ready-made antidote.

I need some time to make it.

What others excuses to make him remove his clothes?

Your Highness.

The snake venom has to quickly be eliminated using the needle.

Otherwise, it would be harmful to you.

Why don't you lie down first?

I'll get the needle.

Didn't you say that there's,

no gender distinction to the physicians?

Have I said that?

Why don't I remember it?

It's full of scars.

There's no imprint at all.

Why are you in a daze?

I heard that,

there were skin ulcers on your face.

After His Majesty issued the decree,

father was afraid it's a disgrace to be married in this way.

He sought everywhere for medical advice,

and obtained plenty of precious herbs.

Only then I was cured.

Really?

Yes.

If you don't believe it,

you can ask my father.

Do you know about Shen You herbs?

Shen You herbs?

I know.

It's recorded in the “Compendium of Materia Medica”. It's very rare.

There are a few at the outskirts of the Capital.

You can go and dig it out.

Really?

Why didn't you dig and bring it back?

It's very hard to come by.

It has a high demand and it's priceless.

I don't need it.

It's a waste of natural resources. Wasteful.

Your Highness, I need to insert a few more on your back.

Your Highness.

The poison expert is here.

Why are you panic?

Do you have something to hide?

No.

It's still scary,

to be frighten by human.

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

Are you all right?

It's no big deal.

Has my mother been alerted with today's incident?

Don't worry.

Her Highness doesn't know that you're injured.

Check these bloody clothes.

Fortunately, I'm a diligent and studious person.

I've studied on the "Book of Poisons" using the bracelet.

I know the prescription to counter these 2 poisons.

Are you done writing?

If you're done, hand over the prescription to Xi Feng.

I'm Chu Xi Feng.

Greetings, Your Highness.

Rise.

Follow this prescription and decoct 3 servings.

-Take 1 serving daily will do. -Yes.

Xi Feng.

Let the manor's poison expert,

inspect this prescription to see if there's anything wrong.

You may be excused.

Yes.

Since you don't trust me,

why do you want me to write it?

It's late already.

You can sleep here for the time being.

Next morning,

go to the palace with me to thank the emperor.

Are we…really going to consummate our marriage?

Well.

I'm not ready yet.

You sleep on the couch.

Fine then.

Imperial Concubine's prescription,

is more meticulously done compared to other poison experts.

The weight and amount used are just right.

Really?

Yes.

It's impossible to tell.

To my surprise,

Her Highness knows how to treat poison.

Was the candle light too dim just now?

That's why he didn't have a good look at me?

Tomorrow morning,

if he figures out that,

I was the one who saw his appearance the other day,

he would kill me for sure.

No, no.

I have to take preventive measures.

I have to change the shapes of my eyebrows and hair bun.

Or,

I'll add a few pockmarks on my face,

to disrupt his line of sight.

I mustn't let him discover me.

Why aren't you sleeping?

I couldn't sleep. I want to go out for a walk.

There's a night curfew in the manor.

You can't walk around as you wish.

If caught by the night guard, you'll be killed without mercy.

Why aren't you sleeping then?

How do the skin ulcers on your face,

used to look like?

Why are you so interested with it?

It wasn't easily cured. So, I'm not willing to bring it up again.

If you're interested,

ask about it in Han Manor someday.

Catch them.

Han Yun Xi.

You can't escape my grasp.

Mother.

Put this on.

I'm ordering you to put this on.

It really is you.

Your Highness, don't be afraid. It's me.

Who are you?

Replying to Your Highness.

I'm His Highness's personal nanny.

I've served His Highness for over 10 years.

Your Highness may call me Zhao Momo.

Where's His Highness?

His Highness is currently handling some affairs in the study room.

His Highness has instructed me,

to let Your Highness wait for him at the manor's door half an hour later.

His Highness said that you'll enter the palace together,

in the horse carriage to thank His Majesty.

That's great.

I have half an hour time.

Just enough to put on a make up,

to conceal my facial features.

Zhao Momo, I would like to wash up.

Help me with my hair bun.

Yes.

Your Highness.

This medicine is decocted based on Her Highness's prescription.

The poison expert has examined it. It's all good.

Your Highness.

Recently, the Chief Minister of the Court of Judicial Review's family,

has been ruined.

There are many guards who saw you at the roof top.

They even said that you absconded to avoid punishment.

General Mu, Mu Qing Wu, who's in charged of this case,

has once mentioned about this to His Majesty.

He requested to investigate the Duke of Qin Manor.

His Majesty used your wedding as an excuse,

and asked him to start investigating from other directions.

Right, Your Highness.

You were poisoned when you returned last night.

Who hurt you?

It didn't cross my mind that,

the girl who stole my "Poison Classic",

would secretly exact revenge.

On my way back,

there was another group of people trying to assassinate me.

There was another group of people?

I think the Crown Prince has already known,

I was the one who abducted Th little Poison Gu nurturer.

What should we do then?

Pay close attention,

to Mu Qing Wu's investigation progress.

Most importantly,

find out who was the lady,

who lured me out on the night of the wedding.

Yes.

Your Highness.

Come here. Let me take a look.

Are you all right?

How did you protect His Highness?

You let him got injured.

Calm down, Your Highness. I'm incompetent.

Xi Feng.

You may be excused.

Yes.

Let me take a look.

Are you hurt elsewhere?

I'm fine.

I heard from the guard

that you've returned to the manor late last night.

Why didn't you come to greet me?

Do you know how worried I was?

I returned in the midnight.

I was afraid to disturb you.

You were missing.

How can I sleep?

It's my fault for being unthoughtful.

Please forgive me.

What matters is that you're all right.

Fei Ye.

You weren't around for the marriage ceremony.

You're going in to thank His Majesty.

You must cover this up.

Don't let them have something on you.

Also,

what's with the Chief Minister?

Why does Mu Qing Wu want to investigate you?

I was framed.

Mother, don't worry.

I'll investigate this thoroughly.

All right.

Well then.

Get ready.

Go in to the palace.

Uncle, how was it?

Long Fei Ye’s has unusual capability.

None of the assassins,

make it back.

This… This…

What should we do then?

The Duke of Qin has just returned,

and he has already prosecuted the Deputy Minister of Revenue.

He's very ambitious now,

and dares to raid the Poison Sect.

However, he's got something on us too.

He's certain that even if we knew,

we wouldn't dare to bring it up to the emperor.

- He gains the upper hand now. -This can't do.

If Imperial Father knew,

not only my position is unsecured.

You know well of Imperial Father's way of doing things.

Uncle. Uncle.

Uncle, you have to help me.

What are you afraid of?

It's just the Duke of Qin.

If you can't even pull through with the Duke of Qin,

how do you ascend the imperial throne that's revered by all?

Don't worry.

I've made a vow before your mother's passing,

that I'll pledge my life to protect you from being bullied by others.

I'll think of way,

to help you through this difficult times.

Uncle.

I'm afraid that the Duke of Qin,

has already suspected,

we are the ones behind the Deputy Minister of Revenue.

It has aroused His Majesty's suspicion now.

If the Duke of Qin has the evidence,

of our monetary dealings with the Deputy Minister of Revenue,

His Majesty,

would kill us for sure.

So, he has to die.

Greetings to the Imperial Mother.

Rise.

Bestow a seat.

It's rumoured that there are skin ulcers on your face.

It seems like it's untrue.

Replying to the Imperial Mother.

Before the wedding,

father did his best to cure Yun Xi.

Imperial Concubine of Qin,

indeed has the graceful bearing of Lady Tian Xin.

Thank Imperial Mother for your praise.

4th Prince.

I've betrothed such a beautiful woman to you.

I didn't treat you unfairly, right?

Imperial Mother cares for me.

But I heard that,

you didn't kick the sedan's door yesterday.

Is that true?

Indeed.

On the day of the wedding,

someone deliberately lured me to the Chief Minister's manor,

poisoned and attacked me in the dark.

Fortunately, I managed to see through their plan in time.

When I returned to the manor,

I received timely treatment from the Imperial Concubine.

Only then I've survived it.

Really?

Who was the evildoer?

That person's face was covered.

I don't know who that is.

No lead at all?

I work wholeheartedly for the nation.

and offended some bad people.

It's still under investigation.

Investigate thoroughly.

I would like to know,

who has the nerves,

to assassinate the Duke of Qin.

Don't worry.

I'll ferret them out,

and prove my innocence.

Go to your Imperial Brother.

He's waiting for you at Qin Zheng Palace.

The Imperial Concubine of Qin may stay,

and have a chat with me.

I'll excuse myself.

How's the progress?

Replying to Your Majesty.

His Highness came back late last night,

and is seriously injured.

When I was treating to his wound,

I've looked at the front and back of his body and discovered nothing.

In the past, it was recorded in the Imperial Palace Secret Archives,

of the location of the Duke of Qin's imprint.

Unfortunately, the secret archives were burned in the fire.

I can't remember clearly the position of his imprint too.

Do me a favour,

to examine the whole of his body.

-But... -How difficult would that be?

You're the Imperial Concubine of Qin.

He was injured yesterday.

I bet you've not consummated the marriage.

Once consummated,

you'll know upon the examination.

I'm afraid that it's hard for him to let his guard down.

I don't have the patience.

I'll give you a month's time.

A month?

What's the matter?

Don't you want to see your mother as soon as possible?

The Duke of Qin doesn't trust me now.

With just a month's time,

I'm afraid...

I believe that,

you'll surely find a way.

From the day you got married,

and treated the poison for him,

your performance,

has far exceeded my expectations for you.

I don't care what method you resort to.

You have to find out,

if there's an imprint of Wind Tribe on his body within a month.

The sooner you find it,

the sooner you can meet your mother.

Do you understand?

Yes.

You're dismissed.

Yes.

4th Brother.

The memorials here to impeach you are the most.

You always have a grievance with the Chief Minister of Judicial Review.

On the day of the incident, you were at the roof top of his manor.

You said someone lured you there.

Do you have any evidence?

I'm in the midst of investigation.

That means that,

you have no evidence just yet?

Do you also think,

that I killed him?

You're my younger brother.

I'll never believe,

that you would kill the minister for personal grudges.

However, the Chief Minister and Royal Uncle has always been closed.

It's difficult for me to explain this to the Royal Uncle too.

I'll give Your Majesty an explanation.

All right.

I believe you.

But you have to be quick.

Don't cause anymore conflict.

Thank you for your trust.

But do I need to work closely,

with General Mu in the investigation?

There's no need.

You just have to focus on your investigation.

Also,

you're a newly-wed.

You should spend some time to accompany the Imperial Concubine.

Thank you, Your Majesty.

I hope that General Wu would investigate thoroughly,

and prove my innocence.

I'll try my best.

Well,

I'll excuse myself first.

Qing Wu.

Yes.

This is a serious matter.

You have to investigate thoroughly,

and ensure the truth comes to light.

Remember.

All are equal before the law.

Don't ever have any misgivings.

Leave the rest to me.

Yes.

I believe that you can do it.

From the day you got married,

and treated the poison for him,

your performance has far exceeded my expectations for you.

I don't care what method you resort to.

You have to find out,

if there's an imprint of Wind Tribe on his body within a month.

The sooner you find it,

the sooner you can meet your mother.

Do you understand?

Who are you?

Why didn't you kneel when you see me?

I'm the Imperial Concubine of Qin.

So, that's you.

With the looks of you,

you want to surpass Sister Ming Xiang.

Don't you have skin ulcers on your face?

It's been healed.

I heard that in order to get married into the Duke of Qin Manor,

you've gone to some great lengths.

The auspicious time has passed.

Yet, you kicked the sedan's door and performed the ritual on your own.

What you did isn't considered as getting married.

You have the nerve to call yourself as the Imperial Concubine of Qin?

Princess.

My marriage is betrothed by the Emperor Dowager and His Majesty.

If you deny me,

you're denying His Majesty's decree.

How dare of you to slander me.

Come.

Slap her mouth.

Yes.

Momo.

Grab her.

I'll slap her in person.

-Yes. -Yes.

-Princess. -Princess.

-Princess. -Princess.

Hurry. Help.

Princess, are you all right?

Princess.

Princess, are you all right?

Help.

Princess, be careful. Slow down.

Princess.

Imperial Uncle, this despicable servant bullied me.

She pushed me into the water.

What did you call her?

-Despicable servant. -Say it again.

Imperial... Imperial Aunt.

Then?

Imperial Aunt, I was wrong.

I...

I was wrong too.

Let's go.

The Duke of Qin publicly reprimanded Princess Chang Ping.

He clearly has no respect for me.

Calm down, Your Majesty.

After all, the Duke of Qin is Princess Chang Ping's uncle.

The elders giving the counsel.

It makes sense too.

But,

the Duke of Qin's words and actions are indeed inappropriate.

After all, Princess Chang Ping is the descendant of the royal family,

with a highly respectable status.

Moreover, she's Your Majesty's beloved daughter.

This is not what I cared about.

What I'm saying is that isn't Han Yun Xi rumoured to be,

the Capital's famous ugly woman with a face full of skin ulcers?

Why has she changed after married to the Duke of Qin?

Is there a mistake in the rumour?

Replying to Your Majesty.

I heard that before Han Yun Xi got married,

Imperial Physician Han has found a rare herb,

and cured the skin ulcers on her face.

Who would know that,

after she recovered, she would be a beautiful lady.

The Duke of Qin is young and vigorous.

Perhaps, he has a weakness for beautiful lady.

That's why he dotes on Han Yun Xi.

But this is not the reason,

he's contemptuous of the princess.

Could it be because he's the Duke of Qin?

The Duke of Qin's power is conferred by Your Majesty.

No matter how capable is he,

he has to obey all your arrangements.

Tell me then.

Why is the Duke of Qin being so arrogant now?

-I'm slow-witted. -Say it.

Perhaps, it's because of Your Majesty's benevolence,

-and the Duke of Qin's... -Tell me the truth.

In the imperial court,

the Duke of Qin is second to the emperor,

and in control of the military power.

Because of this,

he became arrogant.

You're right.

It's because of the military power.

Your Majesty,

wants the Duke of Qin to hand over the military power?

I'm afraid that it's not that simple.

Soon.

He'll hand it over on his own.

From now on,

you'll move to Xian Yun Pavilion.

Why?

Do you really want to stay with me?

I...

Get Zhao Momo to help you pack.

Your Highness.

Don't drive me away.

Your poison wound hasn't healed yet.

I can help to treat it.

I've a poison expert.

Don't have to trouble you.

I...

When you're exhausted and weary, I can do acupuncture or massaging.

On the bed?

What are you talking about?

If you want to stay here, get on the bed then.

If not, move to Xian Yun Pavilion.

Take your pick.

All right. Hold on.

This packet of herbs is for you. I meticulously concocted it for you.

Use it during bath.

It can restore and strengthen your health.

Remember to use it.

Your Highness.

The framed case of the Chief Minister,

currently seems to have smoothed down.

This is only the beginning.

Send someone,

to deliver the news to General Bai Li.

I understand.

Have you found any leads,

about the woman who lured me out?

I've searched through the place,

where Your Highness was poisoned.

However, their modus operandi is neat and efficient.

They did not leave any clues behind.

Don't worry, Your Highness.

I'll continue to investigate.

This is the herbal bath prescription that Han Yun Xi prepared.

Ask the imperial physician and poison expert to examine it.

Your Highness,

are you suspecting...

that Her Highness,

is the Empress Dowager's spy?

In the past, we could simply,

get rid of the spy once we found out.

However, if this spy is Her Highness,

then...

I'm done.

I can't see the Duke of Qin anymore.

How am I going to examine the Wind Tribe's imprint on his body?

Zhao Momo, let me.

No.

I used to work in Han Manor too. I can't stay idle.

- Let me. - It's inappropriate.

Zhao Momo,

what does His Highness usually like to do?

His Highness is an even-tempered person.

He usually likes,

reading, practising martial arts and drinking tea.

Nothing else.

When does he usually take a bath?

Why do you asked about this?

You didn't know.

His Highness was poisoned 2 days ago.

There are some traces of poison in the body.

Although it's not harmful to the body,

it would be better to eliminate it soonest. Am I right?

I gave him a herbal bath prescription today.

I'm afraid he wouldn't use it. I just want to take a look.

His Highness is always disciplined in doing things.

Everyday, he would take bath around 7 to 9 in the evening.

Thank you, Zhao Momo.

You're welcome, Your Highness.

It's for the sake of His Highness.

Sooner or later, His Highness would understand your intention,

and allow you to move back.

Seven to 9 in the evening.

"Qin Zheng Palace"

Your Majesty.

- Imperial Mother. - What are you thinking about?

I'm thinking about,

Western Qiu's proposed marriage alliance with us.

Marriage alliance?

The emperor of Western Qiu died in the battle.

Western Qiu's Crown Prince ascended the throne.

Chu Qing Ge is the Emperor of Western Qiu's older sister.

Their Imperial Uncle is lying around, waiting for an opportunity.

The power of this pair of orphan and widow,

isn't enough to intimidate the ministers.

I'm afraid that they want a marriage allegiance now,

to draw support from my power,

to stabilize Western Qiu.

Well then,

what do you think?

A defeated Western Qiu is not worth mentioning.

But if she wants to draw support from my power,

she has to pay the price for it.

Just so happened,

I could permeate Western Qiu's power.

It's highly reputable across the South-west region,

for its warhorse breeding and training,

When the time comes,

it would increase my military strength.

This world,

will eventually belong to the Wind Tribe.

Your Majesty is a man of great talent.

I'm very pleased.

Well then,

do you want to betroth Chu Qing Ge to Tian Mo?

The Crown Prince is still young.

His temperament isn't stable.

I heard that Chu Qing Ge is talented and good looking.

She's assisting the younger brother with her status as princess.

I'm afraid that she's not a simple person.

The Crown Prince wouldn't be able to control her.

The Duke of Qin is powerful now.

If combined with Western Qiu's power, he would be even more powerful.

By then, I wouldn't have much sway over him.

After much deliberation,

the one marrying her could only be me.

Your Highness.

Her Highness's prescription,

has been examined by the physician and poison expert.

There's nothing wrong with it.

Also, they unanimously complimented that,

it's perfectly prescribed.

If you take bath using this prescription daily,

it can help to restore vitality,

strengthen your body,

and increase your skills tremendously.

The imperial physician said that it contains milk vetch root,

codonopsis root,

lingzhi mushroom,

and Monnier's snowparsley.

Also...

Her Highness wants to take a bath with His Highness.

Why are you stopping her?

Are you afraid that His Highness will be eaten by her?
