Mom, you’re back!

Slow down.

Miao.

Grandma, you’re back, too.

Where’s Grandpa?

Your grandpa is in hospital.

I’ll go to see him.

It’s late. You can go tomorrow.

After school.

Let your grandpa have a rest now.

Miao, you’re back.

Mom, I paved the bed for you.

In Miao’s room.

Don’t stay in the hospital.

Your waist will suffer.

Lu, thank you.

My pleasure.

Fang.

Don’t worry about me.

I’ll sleep on the sofa tonight.

No, you sleep in bed. Sofa is for me.

Miao, stay home with your grandma.

I’ll go to the hospital with your mom.

We’re leaving now.

Mom, will you come back tonight?

When your grandpa gets recovered,

I’ll have a talk with you.

Don’t worry.

We’re leaving now.

Be careful.

Bye.

Your grandpa is ill. Everyone is sad.

Grandma, what are you writing?

I’m recording what happened before

between your grandpa and me.

Grandma,

Grandpa will be fine.

He’ll get recovered.

(Teachers’ Office)

Don’t relax in the interview.

I’m confident to you.

You decided?

Go back then.

You’re doing handwork?!

As a simple-minded person,

you’re making such complex things?

I don’t know you now.

You block my light.

What are you making?

Safety bracelet, to ensure safety.

Who do you make it for?

My dad, mom, grandpa, grandma

and Jiang Haoyue.

I want safety, too, Meng.

Make one for me.

You can buy one if you want.

You can find it in the nearest shop.

I want you to make one for me.

where are you going now?

I’ll go to visit my grandpa.

Yes. He comes to see the doctor.

I’ll go with you.

I want to see him, too.

Don’t worry.

Grandpa will get recovered.

Jiang Haoyue, do you have anything to tell me?

No.

You must cheer up.

Che.

Let’s call it a day. Let’s go.

Time to go home.

Why? I tried so hard.

Why didn’t Lu Miao like me?

Love is between two.

There are so many girls.

Why not like another girl?

I think Ziye is good.

No.

I don’t think so.

What’s this?

Chen Lu asked you to go there?

I tell you. Don’t think about it.

I don’t agree.

I’ve grown up.

I’ll decide what I will do.

I’ve made an application.

My mom

will arrange everything for me abroad.

So no matter you agree or not,

I will go.

Why do you mention this?

Take it as my debt.

I’ll pay you back.

How ambitious you are!

How will you pay me back?

Use Chen Lu’s money?

I tell you, Jiang Haoyue,

listen,

you’re my son no matter what!

You can’t get rid of me this life.

Dad, I’m back.

Miao,

your grandma is sleeping. Be quiet.

Dad, where is my mom?

She’s in the hospital.

I will

replace her later.

Miao,

what’s up?

You were happy when you went out.

Dad,

bring these two bracelets

to Mom and Grandpa,

to ensure safety.

You made it?

You’re smart.

You take one.

This is for me?

Yes.

I will always wear it.

Miao,

do you think I should do something

to make your mom happy?

I have an idea.

Here.

I’d better pretend not to know it,

and greet him.

What are you listening?

Are you so eager?

What did you say?

Jiang Haoyue will go abroad?

So sudden!

Not at all.

He wears headphone on the bus every day.

He’s listening to TOEFL.

I think he planned it long ago.

Fine. Don’t be angry.

He didn’t tell you, maybe because he didn’t want you sad.

Ziye,

don’t explain for him.

I think he’s selfish.

He didn’t care Meng’s feeling at all.

What’s good about going abroad?

Why did he decide to do so?

Maybe there is delicious food.

Maybe there is a better research environment.

Right?

Jiang Haoyue’s mom is there.

Mom,

can you send me your address again?

Hello, Mom, why the address you give me

is different from the previous one?

It’s like this.

Haoyue, I rent

an independent apartment for you.

Independent apartment?

I thought about it for a long time.

You know, I left China years ago.

I have a new family now.

I’m afraid you don’t adapt to each other.

The apartment is close to your school.

There is a supermarket nearby.

You know nothing about here.

I don’t want you to worry about it.

to live with me, right?

Haoyue, you wronged me.

I want you to come back.

will you?

Haoyue, don’t wait for me.

I won’t come back to this home anymore.

He won’t become a good one this life.

He won’t.

Mom, can you take me with you?

I’ll be good. I’ll be obedient.

I won’t make trouble for you.

Everyone praises me.

Haoyue, I can’t take you away now,

but I promise you

I will take you away from him one day.

Believe me, OK?

Keep it safe. Don’t let him know it.

Why do you cry?

Jiang Haoyue, don’t be sad.

You have me.

Jiang Haoyue!

When I first met you,

I hated you actually.

I was pretending to sleep.

You gave me chocolate by force.

Then, you moved upstairs,

and forced me to raise chicks with you.
