to figure out what it means to be a dad.

desires, for the good of your child.

It's a lifetime commitment.

or get a banner or a shiny ring.

The win, and it is worth any sacrifice,

is raising a child who is caring enough,

smart enough, who is compassionate enough,

and who is loving enough
to be a better echo of you.

That's what it means to be a parent.

-[chanting, stomping, clapping continue]

But I get why Coach did what he did.

It was pure basketball.

I guess this is karma for faking my ankle.

Savannah may be nice deep down,

There are a lot of ways I thought
this game would play out,

but I never imagined this.

of our quest to make history at Westbrook

became a story of the sacrifices it took
to get there.

We all had to give up
things we cared about,

but we got something
much more valuable in return: a family.
