- There are people with amazing potential this year.
- It was so unexpected.
- You were amazing.
- That was unbelievable.
- That's my dude.
- This is the beginning of an amazing journey.
- What a message to America.
What a message to the world.
[cheers and applause]
- Everything about that was really special.
[percussive music]
* *
- * Take you home with me *
- Yeah! - It's me! Come on!
- [laughs] - * Ba, ba, ba, baby *
- She was fantastic.
- * I'm gonna shoot you right down *
- Wow. - I have never, ever seen
anything like this in my life.
[cheers and applause]
- Give it up for Terry Crews!
[cheers and applause]
- Are you guys ready to meet your judges?
[cheers and applause]
Give it up for Howie Mandel!
Heidi Klum!
Sofía Vergara!
And Simon Cowell!
* *
- Hi. Welcome to "America's Got Talent."
* *
- Are you guys ready to get this started?
- Yes.
- Let's go! [cheers and applause]
- Groups. We don't have enough groups.
- I actually like working with groups more than solo artists.
- Well, you're the king of boy bands, right?
- This is a moment that could make
all our dreams come true.
[cheers and applause] - Hey, what's up, y'all?
- And who are you?
- We go by the name of CZN. C-Z-N.
- And where are you from? all: Toronto!
- And what's the dream, guys? - The dream is just
to share our music with the world, really.
- I'm so excited about this.
all: * I know, you know, we know *
* You weren't down for forever, it's fine *
* If the world was ending, you'd come over, right?
* You'd come over, and you'd stay the night *
* If the world was ending, you'd come over, right? *
- What? - I love the idea
of vocal harmony groups.
It would be great
to do a unique cover which you own.
But I think, overall, it was a really good audition.
- Simon Cowell is right there.
- I'm Liam. I'm 30 years old.
- I'm Brendan. I'm 23.
- I'm Jim. I'm also 30.
- And we're T.3, a vocal group from New York City.
- You got four yeses. Congratulations.
[all cheering]
- I'm scared.
- I'm... in love.
* *
- I think we could be the next big vocal group, for sure.
- [laughs] I'd love it. Old D. Old Men.
- [laughs]
So we've been singing together for a year.
- Look at that foof. I like your little foof.
- Being on "AGT," it's just awesome for me
as a fan, because I love One Direction.
And what Simon did with them...
It really feels like this is, like, our opportunity,
this is, like, our shot.
- The big dream for T.3 is to get a record deal,
tour the world, and I think our lives
would completely change
if we were to win "America's Got Talent."
- One. - Two.
- Three! all: T.3!
[cheers and applause]
- Hi!
* *
- Hello.
- How's it goin'? - Good.
What's the name of the group?
- We're T.3. - T.3.
Where are you from? - We're from New York City.
- Okay. How did you all meet?
- So a little over a year ago, Brendan sent me and Liam a DM
after seeing a few YouTube videos of us singing.
- I'm a big fan of theirs. Yeah.
- We put together a little group,
and so we've been doing it every week
for 14 months now, and now we're here.
- Have you done this on a big stage like this?
- No, we've been in Brendan's parents' staircase
for a year,
so this is, like, the first time
we've really been able to be in front of people.
- Do you think that what you have to offer
is worthy of a million dollars and winning here?
- Yeah, we're super excited.
[cheers and applause]
- All right, whenever you're ready.
Good luck. - Thank you, Simon.
- Thank you.
[rock music]
* *
all: * Into the unknown *
* Into the unknown *
- Whoa!
- That's fun. all: * Into the unknown *
[vocalizing]
- * I can hear you but I won't *
* Some look for trouble while others don't *
- * I've had my adventure I don't need something new *
- * I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I fall for you *
all: * Are you out there? *
* Do you know me? Can you feel me? *
* Can you show me? *
all: * Whoa *
* Whoa *
* Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh *
* Ohh, ohh, ohh, ohh *
* Where are you going? *
* Don't leave me alone *
* How do I follow you? *
- * Into the unknown *
[vocalizing]
- * Ahh *
[vocalizing]
- [laughs]
[cheers and applause]
* *
- That sound was big.
- Thank you.
* *
- * Had to have high, high hopes for a living *
- I love it.
- Thanks, everybody. - Heidi.
- Did you see me sing that with my husband in the shower?
- [laughs] - No, online, not--
She's not asking if you're a peeping Tom.
- He got so nervous. It's like...
[laughter]
- You can't see anything, by the way.
It's all totally fine. - Oh, yeah, yeah.
PG rated. - Cool, cool.
- I mean, it was a lot of fun.
I just love watching you guys do this.
I really enjoyed it.
both: Thank you so much. - Thank you.
- Sofía. - I mean, it was so unexpected.
And I love the three of you,
and I think the voices are perfect together.
I loved it.
- Thank you. - Thank you so much.
- Howie. - Your joy and your energy
is infectious.
And your joy made us enjoy you.
[cheers and applause]
- What is so amazing about you
is that A, this was a complete surprise,
which we love,
secondly, you don't do the obvious,
and the harmonies were amazing, the leads were amazing.
Great, great, great audition.
- Wow. Thank you guys.
- Yeah. - Awesome.
- Howie. - It's a yes for me.
- Yes. - Thank you.
- Heidi. - It's a yes for me, too.
- Yay!
- I wanna hear more. Yes. - Yes!
- Thank you, thank you.
- Well, that means you've got four yeses.
[cheers and applause]
- Thank you. Thank you so much.
* *
Thank you. - T.3, everybody!
T.3! - Well done.
- * But I always had a vision *
- What are you feeling right now?
- I don't know. I'm shaking, man.
It was amazing.
- It's like an a capella group with music.
- Yeah, that's true. - It was fantastic.
- Yes, we did it! - Whoo!
- We just got four yeses. - We got four yeses.
- Let's go! - Let's go!
- * High, high hopes *
- What a great surprise.
- Let's do this. Come on.
- You did one of the most extraordinary things
I've seen in all the years.
- "AGT" takes over Las Vegas!
- You go down that strip, it's like every billboard
is someone from this show now.
It's unbelievable.
- The grand prize is gonna be a million dollars...
[cheers and applause] - And a show in Vegas.
- That could change our life. It could change anybody's life.
[cheering]
- Winning "America's Got Talent"
and to be able to do shows in Vegas would be amazing.
My name is Kabir Singh, I'm from Fremont, California,
and I'm a stand-up comedian.
When I was a kid, I realized that
the easiest way to make friends
was just being really funny.
My parents were, believe it or not,
very supportive of me.
Everything that I've done in my whole life
is because of my mom and my dad.
When I was about a year or two into stand-up comedy,
my dad passed away.
He was our anchor.
And then it was basically just my mom and I.
And ever since then, for the last ten years,
I've been pretty much financially supporting my mom
through comedy.
The last year was quite a struggle.
So it was a lot of pressure.
Like, what are we gonna do for money?
I mean, nothing's coming in.
- Hey, Mama G. How's it goin'?
- Coming on "America's Got Talent,"
it really does feel like there's a light
at the end of the tunnel.
- Thank you, Mom. I just cannot wait
to get on stage and show the world
what I love to do.
This one's for Dad, and all of us and for the future,
so I'm gonna take care of business today.
- I wanna win this so bad. I wanna be
the first stand-up comedian to win this.
And I'd be the happiest guy in the world.
- Two minutes can change your life.
- Let's go. - That's what Simon says
all the time. - I'm ready to go, baby.
- All right, go make it happen. - All right.
- * Even when I'm down to my last breath *
- Howie!
- Hello, hello.
What is your name?
- My name is Kabir Singh.
- What are you gonna do tonight?
- I'm actually a stand-up comedian.
- Why did you come to "AGT"?
- I wanted to come over here and go up against the best.
- Have you had bad gigs?
- There was one gig I remember
I was hired for an Indian wedding,
and they forgot they hired a comedian.
[laughter] So I come on,
the DJ still played music,
I had kids going ring around the posy around me,
and I basically bombed for an hour,
and that was a nightmare.
[laughter]
- Well, there's a million dollars
if you win this competition.
- All right. - So we wish you good luck.
Show us what you've got. - Let's do it, guys.
How's it going? You guys doing good?
Let's go! Come on! [cheers and applause]
Come on.
I'm glad to be back on stage, man.
I've been quarantined for eight months.
It was awful. I've been doing nothing
but watching documentaries on serial killers.
Have you seen these guys? My God.
White people have won that battle.
My roommate's actually white, and he's like,
"This is racist.
Not all white people are serial killers."
I'm like, weeeeell.
[laughter]
It looks like all serial killers are white here, buddy.
We're on season 14. Come on.
You know what I'm sayin'?
It's a clean sweep. Let's go.
And I feel bad, 'cause white people
are actually the only people in the world
that can be serial killers.
There's no other ethnicity in the world
that can get away with eight unsolved murders in a row.
Do you know what I'm saying?
Like, you don't think Black people wanna be serial killers?
Of course they do. They cannot.
Could you imagine a Black serial killer?
He would get pulled over on the way to getting supplies.
[laughter]
He hasn't even done anything yet.
Come on.
Indians, Asians, Hispanics-- we can't be serial killers.
Our family's way too nosy.
- That's true.
- My mom's an old Indian lady. She's a snitch.
My mom would just show up, "Where is the rope?
"What happened to the duct tape?
Where is the bleach? I'm calling the cops."
I'm like, "Come on, Mom. You raised me.
Don't do this. I'm your son. Come on."
The quarantine sucked for all comedians.
We all went broke. When you're broke,
it's tough to pay bills even if you have money.
There are too many passwords.
- I know. - How are we supposed
to remember this?
I got the Verizon bill last week.
I had to crack the Da Vinci Code to pay this.
It took too long.
I have the bill in front of me, I call them up.
I'm like, "What's up, Verizon? It's me, Kabir Singh.
Let's do this. Come on."
They're like, "What's your account number?"
I'm like, "4789432." "Where do you live?"
"2000 Wadard Avenue." "What's your date of birth?"
"12/30/84."
Then he's like, "What's your bill pay password?"
- Uh-oh.
- I was like, "You [bleep]."
[laughter]
I was like, "I don't know what that is,
"and I think you know that I don't know what that is,
Let me just pay this."
He's like, "I cannot. I need your bill pay password.
I need to make sure it's you."
I'm like, "Who is out there paying other people's bills?"
Come on!
That was fun. It was an absolute honor
performing for you guys.
Thank you very much. - Bravo!
[cheers and applause]
- Standing O!
- Oh, my God. How much fun was that?
Thank you. What a dream come true.
Thank you.
- What a great surprise.
- Thank you, Sofía. - I always think
when I'm watching all those serial killer shows,
it's like, how does the family doesn't catch them?
But I'm Latin. [laughter]
- Our families would be right there.
- Simon. - You went from serial killing
to paying a phone bill. [laughter]
That was pretty impressive.
No, you know what? I love comedians like you
who are pumped before you came out,
and we felt that energy.
It was a great audition.
- Simon, that means so much.
- I have to tell you, in the beginning,
I was like, am I allowed to laugh at these jokes?
And then, you know, but it's like, mm, but it's funny.
But am I allowed to? Can I? I mean--
I love everything that you just did.
- Thank you so much. - Howie.
- You are relatable. You are magnetic.
You're a star.
America's gonna love you,
and I think you're gonna do great in this competition.
[cheers and applause]
- This means a lot to you, doesn't it?
- It's been a rough-- yeah, it's been very rough.
So it means quite a bit, Simon. - Yeah, I can see that.
Good for you.
- Thank you for having us over here.
[cheers and applause] - He did it for his mommy.
- Ooh.
- Okay, I am going to give you my first yes.
- Ah! Come on!
- Second one from me. - Let's go! Come on!
- I wanna vote. Do you know your vote code?
[laughter]
- Oh, that's good. - I'll just unlock it.
It's another yes. - Thank you, thank you.
- Simon. - You've got four yeses.
[cheers and applause]
- Bravo! - Let's go! Come on!
* *
- This means so much to me. Thank you for everything.
- You're the best.
- Let's go, buddy. America's back.
Let's go. I love you guys.
There we go! Let's go! Come on!
What can I say? I just--I just--
I've never been more happy in my life.
- Dude, you deserve it.
- Hey, Mom, we did it.
I got all--all yeses,
all four yeses from all the judges.
- We're celebrating when I see you.
Love you.
- * So don't give up on me *
[upbeat music]
[cheers and applause]
- Here we go. Ten seconds.
- Make sure they get the right angles.
- As long as they make me look 20 years younger,
I'm good. - Three, two, one.
- * Bang, bang into the room *
* You know you want it *
- It's all about you at this moment.
Let's make it happen.
- [indistinct] - You got it. [laughs]
- Hello, hello. Buenas noches.
What is your name?
- My name is Mama Char.
- And you're coming here to do what?
- To dance, and to prove
that age is just a three-letter word.
- Wow. - How old are you?
- I'll be 70 in three months.
- Oh, that's great. - I know.
- How long have you been dancing?
- All my life. I was a go-go dancer
from '67 to '69,
and now, I'm on "America's Got Talent"!
Whoo!
- Whoo! [laughter]
- That'll be me.
- Okay, so we can't wait to see you dance.
- Let's do this.
[cheers and applause]
[Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" playing]
- Go, Mama Char!
- * Lost in a dream *
* I don't know which way to go *
- When is it starting?
- * Straight up, now tell me *
* Do you really wanna love me forever *
[buzzer blares]
- Oh.
- * Or am I caught in a hit and run *
* *
* Straight up, now tell me *
* Is it gonna be you and me together *
* Oh, oh, oh *
* Or are you just havin' fun *
* *
- Yeah! Whoo!
- We're good? - That was it?
- Are you done?
- Yeah. Whoo! - I was waiting
for you to start.
- Um, I don't know. I thought that
the only one that was really, really, really enjoying this
was you. [laughter]
Simon. - Well, yeah,
I really like you, I just don't think
you lifted your feet up once throughout the whole routine.
- Okay, okay. - I mean,
the arms were working. The feet weren't.
- We're gonna vote. Simon. - No.
- Okay. - Me, no.
- Heidi. - It's a no. I'm sorry.
- There's no difference between the act
and what you're doing now, so it's a no.
- But we love you. Thank you for coming.
- Yeah. Mama Char. Thanks for coming.
- Keep dancing.
- We always say "America's Got Talent"
is for everyone, you know, really young or really old.
Good for her. - Did you think
she was at the level for "AGT"?
- Well, we have all different levels.
[laughter]
- But it's good. We were all confused.
- Storm Large, make it happen. Bow!
- Thank you.
[cheers and applause]
- Hello. - Hello.
- Who are you? - My name is Storm Large.
- Storm. - That's a great name.
- It's my real name. - That is so cool.
- That's your real name? - Yeah. My birth name.
- Storm, why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?
- I am 51 years old. - You look amazing.
- Thank you. - Wow.
- Yeah, I've been a musician for 30 years, singing,
and this is kind of an enormous,
terrifying opportunity.
- So have we met before?
- We were so young, Simon.
Let's not bring that up. [laughter]
Let's not bring that up.
This is my very first time coming.
And it's a huge honor to come cartwheeling
into this massive arena.
It's just kind of like food for the soul.
- Yeah. - We are all rooting for you.
- Thank you. - The stage is yours.
- Thank you very much. - Good luck.
- I appreciate it. thank you.
* *
* I got you under my skin *
* I got you deep in the heart of me *
* So deep in my heart *
* That you're nearly a part of me *
* And I got you under my skin *
* And I tried so *
* Not to give in *
* I said to myself *
* This affair never will go so well *
* But why do I try to resist *
* When baby, I know so well *
* That I've got you *
* Under *
* Ohh *
* I would sacrifice anything *
* Come what might *
* For the sake of just having you near *
* In spite of a warning voice that comes in the night *
* The things that it yells *
* In my ear * - Whoo!
- * Don't you know, little fool *
* You never can win *
* Use your mentality *
* Wake up to reality, yeah *
* But each time I do *
* Just the thought of you *
* Makes me stop before I begin *
* No, I *
- Ohh! - * Oh, I *
* I got you *
* Under * - Wow.
- * Oh, under my skin *
[cheers and applause]
* *
- Oh, man! That was hot!
- Bravo!
- That was insane.
I mean, you were, like, possessed on that stage.
And I've never heard this song this way before.
It was incredible. - Thank you.
- For anybody watching,
they would not know that's a cover.
You really made it your own. - Yes.
- You made it kinda more rock 'n roll for me.
- Thank you - If you told me
that was the song you were gonna sing,
I'd go, "Oh, my God, I hope my mom's watching."
[laughter] But--
- Hi, Mom! - No, but--'cause she would
like that song, and then you made me love that song.
Well done, young lady. - Yeah.
- Thank you. Thanks for the "young."
- I was like, mesmerized.
If somebody asked me, "You wanna sing,
and what voice do you want?" I would pick your voice.
- Gracias. Que linda. - You're super sexy
and powerful. - Yeah.
- Thank you.
- You have an amazing voice,
an amazing personality,
an amazing energy.
And just to hear a naturally amazing voice like that.
- Thank you, wow. Thank you very much.
- I thought it was a really, really good audition.
- That's amazing. Thank you, thank you.
- Do you wanna start the voting?
- Yeah, I'd love to say your first yes, Storm.
- Thank you, sir. - Sofía.
- Yes. - Gracias.
- Howie. - Storm, you're under
all of our skins.
Third yes. - And I give you a fourth yes!
- Thank you so much. - Congratulations!
[cheers and applause]
- Good luck! - Yeah. Well done.
- Four yeses.
* *
- [laughs]
[screams]
- I have never seen anything like this
in my life.
- Don't you think it is, like, more fun this year
than we've ever had? - Yes, of course.
- I won't jinx it, but it has been
a really, really great day.
[thunder booms]
[static crackling]
- Hang on a minute. What's happening here?
- Do not try to adjust your television.
There is nothing wrong with your screen.
Do not try to resist.
I'm in control now.
- Oh, my God.
[eerie piano music]
- Hello?
* *
It's weird, Howie. - So scary.
[electricity crackling]
- My name is Klek Entos.
And I am the sum of all your fears.
[crowd screaming]
Let me introduce you to an experiment
using your subconscious.
[people screaming]
It's the gateway to your intuition,
to your memories,
and to your childhood fears.
Heidi, I want you to take the paper
from inside this box
and hand it back to me.
- Is something gonna bite me in there?
Sofía, I want you to put five ink drops
on this sheet of paper.
Do this randomly.
We are staining it,
trying to create an original shape.
- One, two, three, four, five.
- Meanwhile, I want Terry to join us to assist.
[cheers and applause]
* *
The paper that Sofía stained with ink,
each of those drops will form a shape
that may be interpreted and visualized
in infinite ways.
Whether you see a flower, a butterfly,
or two lovers kissing,
each one of you has your own unique interpretation.
But I will ask Terry:
what do you see?
- A spider.
- What if the box has the power
to make your imagination come to life?
- Oh. - No.
- Would it feel like you're experiencing a dream...
- Whoa, jeez! - Whoa!
- Or a nightmare?
- In the box that you put your hand in!
- I know I put the hand in it, Sofía.
[intense music]
- Oh, my God. - It's big!
[audience screaming]
- [Howie laughs] - Oh, my God!
- Get Heidi!
- Oh!
- [screaming]
- No, no, I don't wanna touch it.
- Oh, my God.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, it's moving. - Oh, it looks angry.
- Are you sure you're awake?
- Oh.
* *
[cheering] - Where is it?
* *
- Uhh--
[cheers and applause]
Where is it? Where is it?
- Where is it? - Where is it?
- Where is it?
- Where is it? - Where is it?
- No, no, no. - Where is it?
- Not on me, not on me.
- Where is it? Oh.
Oh, my God. - That was crazy.
You are insane, and this whole thing was eerie and scary,
but I love you.
[cheers and applause]
It's a yes.
[cheers and applause]
- Wow.
This is like a horror film.
You're freaking me out. I'm saying yes
because I will not say no to you ever.
I will not ever.
[cheers and applause]
- Sofía.
- It was super scary and super fantastic.
And I will give you a yes if you tell me
that it's not around here still, right?
The--the spider?
* *
And we will never say no to you. No.
[cheers and applause]
- Simon.
- I never knew Howie had a twin,
so I'm gonna say yes. [laughter]
- Well done. [cheers and applause]
- Now, go.
- So where is the spider? - I don't know.
- Where is it? - That freaked me out.
- Is he gonna come back and find it?
* *
- Is the winner in this room?
[cheers and applause]
- All right, here we go again.
Seconds away.
* *
- The Misfit has arrived.
I am the Misfit.
I'm from New York City, and I'm a rock star.
- * I stand here waiting *
- The Misfit is a combination of Lady Gaga's avant-garde,
Ashnikko's punk pop,
and Panic! At the Disco's drama.
- * I live for the applause *
- My production's kind of a musical freak show.
I'm bigger than pop. I'm bigger than art.
You can't dream about how big I'm supposed to be.
Let's go! [cheers and applause]
I wanna be the main show of stadiums in Venus,
stadiums in Pluto,
all the stadiums in the Milky Way galaxy.
And this is my shot.
I knew at five I was supposed to be a rock star.
So I know that I'm destined to win.
[cheers and applause] - Okay, folks, here we go.
- Go out there, and make it happen.
- When I go out on that stage,
they're just gonna be like-- [gasps]
[cheers and applause]
- Well, hello. - Ooh.
- Hello, hello.
- Well, that's what we call an entrance.
What's your name, please?
- The Misfit.
- And where are you from, Misfit?
- New York City. [cheers]
- And you are a singer? Dancer?
- I am a rock star.
- Yes!
- Tell me what the dream is, Misfit.
- My own show, world tours, taking over the world.
- Okay, why "AGT"? What brought you to the show?
- Because everybody watches this show,
and I am here for the world to see me,
and I'm here to let them know that I'm comin' for 'em.
- You're very confident,
aren't you? - Always.
- And you think you can win this?
- I'm pretty sure I've already won it.
- Okay, let's do it.
- All right.
- Whoa. - Oh.
- Oh, there's more Misfits. - Oh.
- * Doo, doo, doo, doo *
* Doo, doo, doo, doo *
* Doo, doo, doo, doo *
* Doo, doo, doo, doo *
- * Legends are told *
* Some turn to dust, turn to gold *
* You will remember me *
* Remember me for centuries *
* Hey, yeah *
* Hey, yeah *
* Hey, yeah *
* Remember me for centuries *
* Mummified my teenage dreams *
* No, it's nothing wrong with me *
* The kids are all wrong * [buzzer blares]
* The stories are off *
* Heavy metal is my heart *
* Come on, come on, and let me in *
* Bruises on my thigh like a fingerprint *
* We're supposed to match *
* Darkness that you felt *
* Never meant for you to fix yourself, oh *
- * Remember me for centuries *
* The opposite of amnesia *
* Huh, you're a cherry blossom *
* You're about to bloom * [buzzer blares]
* Gone so soon, huh *
- Let's go! * Some legends are told *
* Some turn to dust, turn to gold *
* You will remember me *
* Remember me for centuries *
* Huh *
- * I live for the applause, applause, applause *
* I live for the applause, plause *
* Live for the applause, plause *
- Okay, thank you very much, Misfit.
Heidi?
- Um, I was not-- I was not loving it.
I love all your outfits. I think you look incredible.
But it didn't sound so great,
and I wanted it to sound great.
I'm sorry. - All right. Howie.
- What--are you a rock star?
Are you an aerialist?
- I'm everything. I am a very skilled athlete,
I am a trained vocalist,
I am a photographer-- - Can I just say
that I would imagine, if you focus
on any one of those, you'd be really good.
But without the focus, for this show,
that would not get you that far.
- Sofía. - I thought, oh,
this is gonna be so much fun,
but the voice kept, like, what--what is going on?
It's like, oh, wow, why did that happen?
- Yeah, look. This is difficult,
'cause you've gone to a lot of effort to do this.
But, I mean, look, the truth is,
it did sound like you were being tortured
the whole time through the routine.
You're not very happy, are you?
- No, I'm fine. - Okay.
All right, well, look, we're gonna vote. Howie.
- No. - Heidi.
- Sorry, it's a no from me.
- Sofía. - No.
- It is four nos, but thank you for coming.
- Thank you.
- * The applause, applause, applause *
[clapping]
- What do you feel about the constructive criticism
that was given you today?
- That's fine for me.
I'm gonna take it with a grain of salt.
- That's right.
- And I'm gonna do my thing, and it's all good.
- [imitating singing] - You know, if you please
shut your eyes, you'd think that was it.
- With her confidence, it was like she knew
what she was doing. - Yeah.
- But her act was like she didn't.
- [laughs] Exactly.
- Okay, last act of the night, everyone.
- Yes! Let's do it! - Ready!
* *
[cheers and applause]
- Hi! - Wait a moment.
- Wow. - Wow.
- Welcome.
Very nice to meet you.
So who do we have here?
- We are World Taekwondo Demonstration Team.
- Wow. - Okay.
And where are you all from?
- We are from around the world.
- Yeah. - But some of them
from South Korea, some of them from America.
- Ooh. - Wow.
- So tell me, why "America's Got Talent"?
- Actually, we are invited
to perform at the Olympics.
- Really? - Yes.
Unfortunately, we cannot do it due to COVID.
- So you could say you chose us over the Olympics.
- Yes. - That's correct.
- I love that.
Do you believe that you could win the competition?
- Yes. - Okay.
Well, that's very confident. I like that.
No more questions.
Two minutes can change your lives.
- Thank you, thank you. - Good luck.
- Thank you. - Good luck!
- Wow, they look serious.
- My daughter has a black belt in taekwondo.
- She really does? - In this, yeah.
- That's impressive. - Yeah.
- They're very serious. - Exciting.
- Yeah.
[percussive music]
* *
[cheering]
- Ahh. - Whoa, whoa!
- [screams] - Whoa!
- Whoa! Did you see that in the air?
- Yes!
- Whoa!
* *
- That's incredible!
* *
Yeah!
- So intense.
- Yes. He's the master.
- Oh, this is hot!
* *
- Oh, ladies. - I have goosebumps.
- Me too. - I love it.
- I love it.
[all shouting]
* *
- Yeah!
- Dang. - Whoa, look at them.
Look at how they've been standing.
- And when they're not moving when they're doing that.
* *
[all shouting]
- Yes!
Let's kick some booty.
* *
Yes. Whoa, oh, my gosh! - Look how high that is.
* *
- Whoa! - No!
- Ohhh!
[cheering]
- Amazing.
- He flew!
- Look at this! He's gonna go up there
and get all of those.
- No way! - No!

[cheering]
- I have never seen anything like that in my life!
* *
Yo! Oh, my goodness! I just--
* *
- Oh! - [screams]
- This is so exciting!
* *
No, don't.
- Whoa!
[cheers and applause] - Oh!
- Look how high that is.
But how do you get up two stories?
Yeah. - Oh, my God.
- Easier said than done. Watch this.
- Awooo!
- Whoa! [cheers and applause]
- Yeah!
[Queen's "We Are the Champions"]
* *
- Bravo!
* *
- One of the favorite things I've ever seen.
- In my life. Yeah.
* *
- Amazing! - Unbelievable.
- Yes! - Wow!
Amazing.
- Incredible.
- Yeah, it was all right. [laughter]
Heidi. - Heidi.
- Heidi. - I mean, it was coming
all the way over here.
You guys are insane.
It was so good. - And there's confetti, too.
- And confetti.
Wow, I mean, the strength, the power.
I mean, I had goosebumps.
This was amazing. - Howie.
- I've never seen anything like this in my life.
The discipline that is involved,
the message you have-- amazing.
- Thank you so much. - You're welcome.
- Sofía. - It's a big show,
and I know what it takes to be able to achieve this.
It was perfection to me.
[cheers and applause] both: Thank you.
- I think what you did was one of the most
extraordinary things I've seen in all the years
I've been on "America's Got Talent."
- Thank you. - Thank you.
- Now we have to go vote.
- All right, no we don't. - Oh, hold on. Oh, wow.
No we don't? - No, we don't.
- No. - First of all,
I gotta tell you, I have never, ever seen
anything like this in my life.
World Taekwondo, this is not about fighting.
It's about courage.
It's about confidence
and respect.
And I respect what you guys did out here today.
Like no one else.
And, you know, you were not able to make it
to the Olympics and get a gold medal,
but I am going to give you something golden right now!
[cheers and applause]
- * We are the champions, my friends *
* And we'll keep on fighting till the end *
* We are the champions, We are the champions *
- More confetti.
- * No time for losers *
- Look how happy they are.
- * 'Cause we are the champions *
* Of the world *
- World Taekwondo...
- That's a great Golden Buzzer. - You are headed
to the live shows in Hollywood!
[cheers and applause]
Yes!
- I'd buy tickets and go see that anywhere.
- For sure.
- * Of the world *
