The Legend of Hao Lan

17

Episode 15

18

The assassin last night was Li Haolan.

19

What?

20

General Gao caught Haolan at the scene.

21

Other than her, no one else was there.

22

Impossible. Absolutely impossible.

23

What's happening with His Majesty now?

24

Did he identify Haolan as the assassin?

25

- His Majesty fainted and is unconscious now. How will he able to do that?

- I'm going to visit him.

26

Killing Royal Father is a crime.

27

She is now being taken care of in a secured place. I'm afraid no one is allowed to visit her.

28

The General Gao that you just mentioned, is he Gao Haoyang?

29

That's right. The refined and imperial General Gao Haoyang.

30

The states of Zhao and Qin are now at war. The people of Qin are pressing on at every stage.

31

The army of Zhao is facing severe injuries and deaths.

32

It's not appropriate for you to show up anywhere now.

33

Yiren, you are always unconsciously

34

chasing after Li Haolan.

35

Aren't you overly concerned about her?

36

You advised that,

37

it's not appropriate for me to show up in front of the Emperor of Zhao now.

38

Thank you very much.

39

Why didn't you dispute?

40

All the arguments in the world are never carried out to seek truth.

41

On the contrary, the only objective of being aggressive and relentless

42

is just to make the other person acknowledge allegiance to oneself.

43

Since this is so, what is the purpose of arguing?

44

It is just a waste of time.

45

It's upside down.

46

[ Physician's Department ]

47

Physician Yin, has His Majesty woken up?

48

Are you being anxious for His Majesty, or are you worried about your Haolan?

49

Why are you still in the mood for jokes during such a crucial time?

50

Treasurer Lü has always been steady. Why are you in a state of panic today?

51

Physician Yin, I want to ask you how is His Majesty's condition really?

52

Don't worry. His Majesty is not seriously injured.

53

He is just unconscious for the time being. I have already written a prescription. He will regain consciousness very soon.

54

When is "very soon"?

55

At least three to five days.

56

I have already checked within and without the Palace. Our opponent's method is efficient.

57

He didn't leave any handhold. The only hope now is His Majesty.

58

Don't worry, I'll help His Majesty to regain consciousness very soon so that your Haolan may be saved.

59

Thank you.

60

Why hasn't His Majesty regain his consciousness?

61

Informing Your Higness, His Majesty remains unconscious because of a relapse of an old illness.

62

He needs time to recuperate slowly. After three to five days --

63

Recuperate slowly?

64

Physician Yin, you should say it directly if you are unable to treat his illness.

65

When an illness comes, it is like a mountain collapsing. To get rid of a illness is like extracting silk.

66

How can one be well so quickly?

67

I think you don't have this capability. Isn't it right?

68

Prince Brother, you don't know how to heal sickness. You should not interfere with Physician.

69

I'm worried about Royal Father.

70

Informing Your Highness, Physician Wang seeks audience with an urgent matter.

71

- Allow him to come in.

- Yes.

72

Paying my respects to Your Highness.

73

What is the matter?

74

Informing Your Highness, I have looked through Physician Yin's prescription.

75

It is harmful to His Majesty's health. That is why I have boldly asked for an audience with you.

76

Speak.

77

In her prescription, the herbs used are forsythia, skullcap root,

78

and peppermint, all of which are exceedingly cooling.

79

His Majesty's face is red and lips dry, his tongue red with a yellow coating. This is obvious that he is being attacked by a great and sudden fire to his heart.

80

In order to save him, we must first get rid of this fire in the heart.

81

Was I wrong to use cooling herbs to strengthen him?

82

His Majesty was saved in the nick of time.

83

His external injuries are not serious.

84

He was attacked by a great and sudden fire to his heart resulting in his qi and blood being weakened.

85

At a time like this, warm strengthening herbs should be used.

86

But the herbs you used are too cooling.

87

If this set of medicine is consumed,

88

and injures his lungs, can he still be saved then?

89

I have been in the Palace for many years. I have my own treatment method.

90

Other people don't need to talk to much about it.

91

You Highness, Physician Yin is too arrogant. She will not listen to other people's advice.

92

If you leave His Majesty in her hands now, I'm afraid it'll be difficult to save his life.

93

A physician's work is based on medical skills, not qualifications, and especially not temperaments.

94

If one is killed by an ordinary physician with a good temperament, then that is really injustice.

95

Your Highness, this is the medical journal left by Chief Physician Yin that year.

96

He initiate the treatment by warm herbs.

97

Young lady, are you trying to overthrow what your father taught?

98

Prescription medicines are used differently for different people.

99

How can we conform to the old system conservatively all the time?

100

Physician Yin, if your prescription was useful,

101

why has Royal Father not shown any improvements?

102

- Why don't we let Physician Wang try?

- That won't do!

103

How can one change physician half way through treatment?

104

Ya'er, what is your opinion on this?

105

Although Physician Yin is a highly skilled physician,

106

Physician Wang has been practicing for many years. I think he has more experience.

107

Good. Physician Wang, come and try.

108

Yes.

109

Look, Mother,

110

isn't this too presumptuous?

111

One who is capable usually has a temper too.

112

If one can tolerate other people, then only can he use them.

113

Unfortunately, this time, the person who is capable has become incapable.

114

Can you do it?

115

Your Highness, please be at peace.

116

I will definitely help His Majesty regain consciousness as quickly as possible.

117

I will go and make preparations now.

118

Your Highness, there's still another important matter now.

119

What important matter is that?

120

To capture the assassin.

121

Has Brother Yu become muddle-headed?

122

Isn't the assassin already imprisoned?

123

Whether we view by sentiments or by reasons, it is impossible for Li Haolan to kill Royal Father.

124

So I suspect that the assassin is someone else.

125

Brother Yu has gone to search within and without the Palace. Is there any gains?

126

There's no news for the time being.

127

That mysterious assassin whom Li Haolan talked about

128

is obviously someone she made up in order to be exonerated.

129

If such a person really existed, why did all the extensive searches conducted by you and General Gao turned up empty?

130

Turned up empty? There could be other reasons for the searches to turn up empty.

131

He could be hiding in this Palace, disguised as a Palace servant or maid.

132

There is another possibility. He could have been murdered a long time ago in order to prevent him from divulging secrets.

133

You try to explain on behalf of the culprit all the time. Do you have a different agenda?

134

Royal Brother, do not speak unwisely.

135

Aren't the two Princes being presumptuous?

136

Your Royal Father is just unconscious temporarily.

137

You are arguing with each other like irreconcilable adversaries.

138

If you continue to create trouble like this, I'll have to ask you to leave.

139

I have committed a wrong deed.

140

You may leave now,

141

Yes.

142

Please don't worry, Mother. Royal Father will definitely recover very soon.

143

How good it is if only you were a son.

144

If you were a man, they would not be allowed to behave so presumptuously here.

145

Mother has always been disdainful of the differences between man and woman.

146

Whatever a man can do, a woman can do too.

147

Ya'er was indeed unwilling in the strategic marriage that time.

148

But now that I think about it,

149

as the Princess of the state of Zhao, I am exceedingly pampered.

150

I don't have to argue angrily like a black-eye hen. It's really quiet.

151

It's up to them whether they want to give or not. It's up to you whether you want it or not.

152

The entire state of Zhao is under their control now.

153

To give you the leftover cold foods,

154

can you resign yourself to that?

155

A wild sparrow that has just been captured will have the courage to kill itself by refusing to eat.

156

The black-naped oriole that has been kept in the cage since young

157

would have long lost its wild nature.

158

Why are you drinking so hurriedly?

159

Your Highness, I have done everything according to your instructions.

160

I beg you to let my grandson off.

161

He is still young and is unable to bear all these torments.

162

As long as Royal Father remains unconscious for a longer period of time,

163

your only grandchild will return safely.

164

What are you doing?

165

You can't go in there.

166

I am the Palace Physician. I want to feel His Majesty's pulse.

167

Why can't I go in?

168

You can't go in there!

169

Stop right there! His Majesty's illness is now entirely under the care of Physician Wang.

170

It is traditional for physicians in the Palace to jointly make diagnosis and give treatment.

171

Even if Physician Wang is the main physician, it will not affect me taking the pulse of His Majesty. Move aside!

172

Leave some dignity for yourself. Don't let me chase you out.

173

How dare you!

174

General Gao, it's time for His Majesty to have his meal.

175

What kind of food is His Majesty eating now?

176

- Chicken soup?

- Go in!

177

Nourishment from liquid diets. Insignificant talent.

178

Physician Yin, what happens here has nothing to do with you now.

179

Please leave.

180

What did you say? You want to leave?

181

Royal Descendant should be careful with this move.

182

Don't make a wrong move.

183

- What about Haolan then?

- I'm rushing about because of the matter of saving Haolan.

184

We will descend the mountain first. Situ Yue will bring her to meet us within the Qin territory.

185

She has committed a serious crime. I couldn't even visit her. What solution do you really have?

186

Royal Descendant, we have known each other for so long.

187

It is only right that you should understand me, Lü Buwei.

188

That's nothing in this world that I, Lü Buwei, can't do.

189

I can't miss out on this opportunity. This time will never come again.

190

Please make your decision quickly.

191

Physician Yin, do you have some matters that you are looking for me about?

192

Gao Haoyang is guarding His Majesty's bedroom. I can't visit him now.

193

Looking at what they are doing now, I'm most certain that

194

they are not saving a person, but rather commit murder.

195

Physician Yin, please speak carefully and act cautiously.

196

Why aren't you the least bit anxious? Don't you want to save Li Haolan anymore?

197

Am I not trying to find a solution now?

198

It's just that you can't put a rush on this kind of thing. It has to be done slowly.

199

Your expression and manner of speaking have all changed.

200

Lü Buwei, it can't be that you are thinking of giving Haolan up?

201

When one is met with losses, one must make prompt decisions.

202

One must discontinue the deal in order to minimize damages.

203

This is who a merchant is.

204

What is seeing profit and forgetting morality, and being depraved,

205

I have finally seen and experience them today.

206

If you won't save, I will think of a way myself.

207

Physician Yin, you have been in the Palace for many years. You have seen through human matters since a long time ago.

208

Why do you still exert so much effort to help Haolan?

209

Treasurer Bu, what advice do you have?

210

What's in the barrel?

211

Treasurer Lu, you must be joking. Everyone in the palace knows this.

212

These are barrels for waste.

213

If you do me a favor, this money is yours.

214

What's the favor?

215

I would like to hire you to transport someone out from the palace for me.

216

Aren't you saying that Lu Buwei is leaving the palace tomorrow night?

217

Yes.

218

Why did you come to see me?

219

Prince, although I don't know Lu Buwei wants to transport out from the palace,

220

but he was very mysterious. It's definitely not something good.

221

Prince is in-charge of the guards at the palace. Naturally, I will report to you first regarding this.

222

Prince, with this cart driver's testimony,

223

we can capture them.

224

A cart driver's testimony is easily overturn. It's not much use.

225

Lu Buwei is more cunning than a fox.

226

Even a tiny bit of wave, he can still easily escape.

227

This time,

228

just let him escape.

229

Don't alert them.

230

Just do according to his instruction,

231

Yes.

232

Royal Descendant, I have arranged everything.

233

There's no rush.

234

Brother Lu, don't forget.

235

Prince Jiao is in-charge of the guards in the palace.

236

He's sinister and a schemer.

237

If you want to escape and live, you still need someone's help.

238

Prince Yu.

239

Royal Father is unconscious. What countermeasure do you have?

240

About this...

241

You have been talking incessantly about this.

242

The situation is critical and you still haven't thought of a solution.

243

Leave.

244

Yes.

245

Prince, Royal Descendant of Qin and Treasurer Lu are seeking an audience with you.

246

- Invite them in immediately.

Yes.

247

Prince.

248

Why are you both here?

249

We were passing through Snow Palace and came here specially to extend our greetings.

250

Prince, why do you look worried?

251

Let's not talk about the coming war now but Royal Father's condition

252

has not improved. I'm very anxious.

253

Is Prince very anxious

254

about the condition of His Majesty

255

or the post of the ruler of Zhao state?

256

How presumptuous of you!

257

When a prince competes, it's very aggressive.

258

My royal father has more than twenty sons

259

who eye his post every day.

260

In this world, who else knows about your pain than me?

261

This is my family business. If you are here today

262

to provoke me,

263

please go back.

264

Such melodious sounds.

265

Fine.

266

Royal Descendant of Qin!

267

I always regarded you as a gentleman and treat each other with courtesy.

268

You harmed my pet without any reasons!

269

You are too impolite!

270

Prince is the owner of this bird.

271

Due to Prince momentary neglect, it dies by other's hand.

272

The Emperor of Zhao is the only one you can rely on. If something happens to him unexpectedly,

273

I fear you will end up like this bird too.

274

Older brother is sinister

275

and uses power to play tricks to win over and control people.

276

Moreover, he's the adopted son of Her Highness. I fear that...

277

Prince, don't be discouraged. Don't forget that

278

- you still have a strong supporter.

- Who?

279

Currently, His Majesty is away and the Prime Minister is here.

280

Prince Jiao is using the opportunity to control Her Highness first.

281

You should immediately send someone to Handan to seek the Prime Minister's help.

282

Zhao Sheng

283

has always been neutral. How can I convince him?

284

Previously, the princes were evenly matched in strength and power.

285

The Prime Minister, naturally, was impartial.

286

The current situation has changed dramatically. Once Prince Jiao ascends to the throne.

287

Those who favor him will be the aristocrats who hang on to him.

288

The Prime Minister will lose his support

289

and foothold.

290

Prince dispatch someone to reveal the situation.

291

We won't know who will seize the empire.

292

The both of you are extending help to me. What do you want me to pay you back with?

293

Prince.

294

If the Royal Descendant wants to escape,

295

can you help?

296

I already have wealth and everything

297

but how will Royal Descendant pay me back?

298

If you help me, I will definitely return a favor with another favor.

299

First, I will persuade my father to withdraw his soldiers.

300

Second, I will support you

301

to obtain the throne.

302

Can you do it?

303

Does detaining Yiren here give any benefit to the battle?

304

Will the Qin army withdraw just because of me?

305

My position as hostage is only a decoration.

306

but if placed in a different position,

307

perhaps, this chess move can be a solution to the problem.

308

Prince, if you don't even have the guts to take a gamble,

309

you might as well knock your head against the wall and die.

310

To avoid being killed by others and laughed at.

311

Alright.

312

When a man makes a promise, it must be kept.

313

If Royal Descendant wants me to do anything, as long as it's not detrimental to Royal Father, I will do it.

314

Of course.

315

But when you return to Qin state, you must keep your promise

316

and give me a helping hand.

317

Subtitles brought to you by The Scintillating Team @ Viki.com

318

Princess, you are here.

319

- Xiaxue.

- Come in.

320

This is...

321

Food personally cooked by me.

322

I wonder if it suits your palate.

323

Frankly, I wanted to find someone to eat with me.

324

Royal Father is sick and Mother is ignoring me.

325

Thank you very much, Princess.

326

Good food pairs well with music and dance.

327

Why don't I dance for you?

328

I don't dare to trouble you. No need for music and dance.

329

No. I rehearsed a new dance.

330

Please give me pointers.

331

Royal Descendant, my dance,

332

Comparing that to Li Haolan's long sleeved slender waisted dance

333

how is it?

334

Naturally, you dance better than her.

335

You are lying.

336

You haven't even lift your head to look at me even once.

337

How do you know I danced better?

338

I meticulously prepare you a fine meal & choreographed the dance.

339

Yet you treat me like this.

340

Princess meticulously prepared the fine meal.

341

I am also used to focus on eating.

342

I must've neglected.

343

Then I shall leave this.

344

To focus on Princess dance, is that okay?

345

Yiren, you are so good to me today.

346

If you were to always treat me this well, even royal father's throne..

347

No...even as the world's master.

348

I also wouldn't want it.

349

Princess, please continue.

350

Princess is in a great mood today.

351

How can you tell? Is it very obvious?

352

Your can not hide your thoughts from me.

353

Royal Descendant's smile made you so happy.

354

If he is this good all the time

355

I can also make an effort to be agreeable and understanding woman.

356

To become what he wants.

357

With Princess' such deep affection, as long as Royal Descendant is not a fool,

358

He should be able to clearly see.

359

Just like today, didn't he submitted to you today?

360

Yes, he was never as good as today.

361

But he is a little too unusual today.

362

Xia Shue, dispatch someone to watch Qingyang Palace closely.

363

Wait,

364

Also Lu Buwei.

365

Yes.

366

Qingyang Palace

367

Treasurer Lu.

368

You are here to see the Royal Descendant today?

369

I am here today to specifically apologize to General Gongsun.

370

Don't dare. Why u need to apologize to me for?

371

General Gongsun

372

Lu Buwei implicated General before.

373

Good thing you patch up the lie for me.

374

Lu Buwei is especially admirable of your great generosity.

375

Treasurer Lu, you don't need to be pretending.

376

I also do not qualify to receive it.

377

I really can not eat and sleep well knowing General is upset.

378

To express my sincerity,

379

I can only buy you a concubine.

380

Concubine?

381

Who?

382

Did you forget that Lady in waiting Tao Yao, you always liked?

383

I bought her already

384

and delivered to your home.

385

That... is not suitable.

386

.Look at...I...

387

Such largesse from you

388

I don't even know how to thank you.

389

Then you are treating me as an outsider.

390

The trouble Lu Buwei caused last time, luckily had you to covered up.

391

Hope General will take care of me in the future.

392

It's nothing.

393

Please go in.

394

Come, let me help you take this.

395

I will have another drink.

396

Treasure Lu, you are well received.

397

Don't destroy your own future.

398

Zhao State is really not bad.

399

What is there in Qin State for you?

400

A bunch of trash.

401

A bunch of trash.

402

All barbarians.

403

General Gongsun,

404

did you drank too much?

405

Who drank too much?

406

Royal Descendant

407

Wrong.

408

Royal Descendant,

409

Qin people already forgotten you.

410

Listen to me, just stay in Zhao State.

411

Stay in Zhao and marry the Princess.

412

Then your future days

413

will be like that of Gods.

414

Qin State is all dog crap.

415

- General Gongsun.

- Good.

416

- Come.

- Treasurer Lu.

417

General Gongsun.

418

Sleep.

419

I need to go to sleep.

420

Rest early.

421

General Gongsun.

422

General Gongsun.

423

Royal Descendant, please immediately go back to change.

424

We will leave the palace right away.

425

Zoushi Court

426

- Stop there.

- Her Highness asked me to come get the lingzhi (reishi mushroom).

427

Command badge.

428

What command badge?

429

Per General Gao's command.

430

Unless there is his command badge,

431

others are not allowed into the pharmacy.

432

How dare you disobey the command of Her Highness?!

433

This pharmacy is a restricted area.

434

No one is allowed to come close except for the physician.

435

We are only obeying orders.

436

All right, I will get a handwritten order from Her Highness and come back again.

437

What if it's really an order from Her Highness?

438

If Her Highness were to blame us,

439

General Gao will shield us. What is there to be afraid of?

440

Fortune Gate Palace

441

Just because you are not permitting me to enter,

442

I can't get in?

443

Wait... Inspection.

444

Wait a second!

445

Everyone, this is only a rancid water barrel. What is there to inspect?

446

No way. His Majesty was recently assassinated.

447

Everything leaving the palace must be carefully inspected.

448

If this barrel is problematic,

449

and I am the one who let you out, how do I explain it later?

450

Wait.

451

Prince.

452

What is it?

453

I was instructed by my superiors to conduct inspections.

454

Can't you handle such a small matter well?

455

No wonder we still haven't captured the assassin!

456

- Check quickly.

- Yes.

457

- Who is there?

- Quick. Chase!

458

- Hurry and go...

-Thanks, Prince.

459

Wait.

460

Why is Younger Brother Yu here?

461

What are you doing here?

462

Elder Brother. Ever since Royal Father's assassination, I've been worried.

463

Therefore, I brought along a few men to surveil the palace.

464

Why is Elder Brother here?

465

I heard news that Lu Buwei wants to take Qin Royal Descendant

466

to escape from the palace.

467

Qin Royal Descendant! A noble royal descendant!

468

You stoop to hiding inside a rancid water barrel in order to survive?

469

If this were to be circulated outside,

470

you will become the laughing stock of the entire nation!

471

- Search!

- Yes.

472

Block it!

473

Elder Brother. What do you mean by this?

474

Are you suspecting me?

475

That I am secretly colluding with the Qin Royal Descendant?

476

Younger Brother Yu. If you have a clear understanding of the situation,

477

it's better for you not to block my path.

478

If I search and find someone,

479

you will also be charged.

480

- Take it away!

- Royal Father is still alive.

481

But you are already so presumptuous.

482

Do you already seriously consider yourself the ruler of the state of Zhao?

483

I've already inspected these barrels.

484

I think you are using father's illness as an excuse

485

to cause problems.

486

Today, I will not allow you to search!

487

There is fire here! Hurry, come extinguish the fire!

488

Fire! Hurry, come extinguish the fire!

489

Fire!

490

Hurry! Extinguish the fire!

491

Hurry here, men! Extinguish the fire!

492

Hurry up...!

493

- Hurry! Over here!

- Hurry!

494

Oh no! The Fortune Gate Palace is on fire!

495

- What are you doing?

- Are we not guarding the pharmacy anymore?

496

Foolish fellow! If the sacred objects inside the Fortune Gate Palace are destroyed by the fire,

497

we will anger the Heavenly Deity. Let's hurry to put out the fire!

498

All right.

499

Looking at His Majesty's face, he seems to look much better.

500

But why is he still not awake?

501

Answering Your Highness. My cooling medicines were too strong.

502

His Majesty's qi (vital energy) is excessively cold.

503

I've already tried to the best of my ability.

504

Hope His Majesty will quickly get better.

505

Reporting to Her Highness.

506

Fortune Gate Palace is on fire!

507

Gao Haoyang, you go take a look.

508

Don't allow them to disturb His Majesty.

509

Yes.

510

Fortune Gate Palace normally only allows cleaning servants inside.

511

Others are not allowed in.

512

How did it suddenly get on fire?

513

- All of you stay here and guard well. Do not leave without permission.

- Yes.

514

Younger Brother Yu. Even the heavens are not helping you.

515

I am not searching for escapees now.

516

I am borrowing the barrels to put out the fire.

517

- Take them away!

- Hold on!

518

Elder Brother. These are all rancid water.

519

Fortune Gate Palace is a sacred place. How can it be tainted?

520

Moreover, dragging these barrels of rancid water there will not be of much help!

521

Of course, the rancid water cannot be used.

522

But if we throw out the rancid water and use the barrels instead,

523

- that would be the right thing to do.

- Stop right there!

524

I want to you to stop!

525

Younger Brother Yu. So this is the Qin traitor you are trying to protect?

526

Why is it you? Where's the Royal Descendant?!

527

I don't want to drink anymore.

528

Idiot!

529

So, it's General Gongsun.

530

General Gongsun, did you got drunk and found the wrong bed?

531

Older brother, this joke has gone too far.

532

You spend so much efforts to flush out a drunkard.

533

It's my fault, my neglect.

534

I didn't realize there's a person in the barrel

535

But this person... is not the other person.

536

You must be disappointed, right?

537

Why didn't you leave with the cart carrying the waste?

538

Chu Xin is greedy person. I've never trusted him.

539

Just used him for the drama, so that we can leave safely.

540

Where are we going now?

541

There's ferry crossing ahead. Once we get onboard.

542

There are assistance all the way to Qin State.

543

I hope that God will protect Haolan with a smooth journey.

544

You are going to abandon Older Sister Haolan?

545

She has already completed her mission. I don't need her anymore.

546

I don't believe it. All the good your showed before.

547

Was all your exploitations?

548

The exquisitely wrapped product's main purpose is to be placed on the shelf.

549

To sell for a good profit.

550

A qualified merchant only knows about the right pricing, not to keep it at my side.

551

Master.

552

Don't say anymore. I have decided.

553

Master, I have never seen you treat a woman that well.

554

You can lie to me. You can lie to yourself

555

But someday you will regret today's rash act.

556

Master, you will definitely regret it.

557

Brother Lu, what is it?

558

Royal Descendant, I need to go back.

559

I forgot something very important.

560

You hurry on to the ferry crossing. I will meet you once I retrieve it.

561

- I will go with you.

- No, its too dangerous for you.

562

-Brother Lu,

- Royal Descendant, don't worry.

563

You get on board first, we will meet again in Qin State.

564

Lu Buwei.

565

Zoushi Court

566

Go search over there.

567

I will check inside.

568

-Fortune Gate Palace is on fire.

- Master Lu.

569

Why didn't you go put out the fire?

570

We are not allowed to leave our post.

571

But what happens if the fire spreads?

572

Gao Haoyang, you are surrouding me but not attacking. what is the point of this?

573

Say it, why did you go to the pharmacy?

574

I am a physician, isn't going to the pharmacy obvious?

575

Then I shall offend.

576

Let's hurry, Royal Descendant.

577

No, let's wait just a little.

578

Mister Lu already instructed that we must leave as soon as you arrive.

579

Leave?

580

Why didn't the Royal Descendant bid farewell?

581

Our Princess saved you on many occasions.

582

It's disappointing that you don't consider her affections.

583

- Xia Shu!

584

Princess, I am very sorry.

585

I already guessed it. If Lu Buwei want to send you out.

586

The best route is going by water.

587

Therefore you will definitely come to the crossing tonight.

588

Once Royal Descendant leaves this time, the sky is the limit from here on.

589

Execept that there's once someone who got in danger for you.

590

Even now here future is unclear.

591

You are talking...about Haolan.

592

Did Lu Buwei told you that he will save Haolan ?

593

You shouldn't forget that she is an assassin.

594

Its a strong charge and there are heavy guards. She will not be able to escape.

595

Once Royal Descendants leaves, probably no chance in life to ever see one another again.

596

The Royal Descendant that I love, is a gentleman, open and aboveboard.

597

Will definitely not abandon a trusted friend. To escape by himself.

598

Correct?

599

You are using Hoalan to keep me.

600

No, I am using good faith to keep you.

601

You will stay, correct?

602

Hoalan.

603

Hoalan.

604

Don't move.

605

Qianyuan Palace

606

This Lu Buwei really came back.

607

The trap Lu Buwei laid, gave me some busywork.

608

But Ya'er is the smart one.

609

Didn't use any efforts to get Royal Descendant back.

610

Even send someone to stand by a stump waiting for the bunny.

611

Elder brother, we are not the same.

612

What is the difference?

613

Elder brother is a man, normally looks at the big picture.

614

I am a woman, only focus on the details.

615

Its the details that is the key dictate the big picture.

616

Regardless, I still thank Ya'er.

617

Elder brother, this time you won but don't be carry away with your success.

618

Such extent of abandoning father and son's trust.

619

You really believe that you can succeed with such an enormous lie?

620

Ya'er, I don't understand what you are saying.

621

Elder brother have a great ambition, but regrettably your wings are not strong enough.

622

Hope you are prematurely casting your flight.

623

Appreciate sister's concern for me.

624

Don't worry, I will not speak about Royal Descendant's escape.

625

Then I shall thank Elder Brother.

626

Elder Brother

627

-What is it?

- Li Haolan was your first love.

628

Sister in laws was your wife.

629

You really don't have any care.

630

Zhao & Qin are in a battle. Royal Father is impotent.

631

As a son if I don't stop this then I am not being filial.

632

The country goes into chaos, people are lost.

633

As a prince if I don't see this then I am disloyal.

634

How can a disloyal, unfilial person speak of personal love?

635

Ya'er, in my heart.

636

Keeping on to my power is the first place.

637

As for woman, that's just extra adornment.
