for amazing prizes!

For our first competition,

whichever dog jumps through all the hoops wins a point!

Oh, yeah!

And the winner is Doris!

Bob: Bingo? Rolly?

I just got off the phone, and guess what!

Double Doggie Dare is coming to our town!

And guess what again!

We're gonna be on it!

You mean, we get to play games on TV

and compete for amazing prizes?

OnDouble Doggie Dare? Be still, my puppy heart.

(both barking excitedly)

Oh, boy, I sure hope we win!

Great double doggie gears! What are we gonna wear?

I'd better go figure it out.

Well, Rolly, I think we have our mission!

(squeals)

(crowd cheering)

Today's contestants will be competing for our grand prize:

a pup-tacular trip to Puppyland!

Let's meet our contestants!

First up are Bob, Bingo, and Rolly!

(crowd cheering)

(chuckles)

So I'm told. Good luck.

Next we have Beatrice, Cupcake, and Rufus!

Hope you brought your A game,

'cause you're gonna need it.

Oh, we brought our B game: Bingo!

Ha ha! Boom!

And last but not least,

Chester, his dog Tako,

and Tako's doggie friend, Zeus!

Remember, the challenges will involve only one player

at a time from each team.

Now, let's have some fun.

All: I double doggie dare ya!

Hal:The first challenge:

the stick toss.

You need to throw at least three sticks through the hole

within the time limit to receive two gold stars.

Ready, aim...

(barks)

-(buzzer sounds) -(bell dinging)

(exhales sharply) Oh!

Bingo/Rolly: Go, Bob! Go!

(bell dinging)

(buzzer)

If Bob keeps missing all his throws,

he might lose!

But our mission is to help Bob win.

I'm great at throwing. I can help.

-Huh? Bingo? -(grunts)

-(crowd cheering) -(buzzer sounds)

Uh-oh, Bob,

only one player from each team can play at a time.

We can't give you any points.

Crowd: Aww.

Suffering side orders of seaweed salad...

Hal:And now a challenge for the pets!

We have one pet from each team.

Whoever catches this ball wins a point!

But it's no ordinary ball.

-Ready, set... -(Dave barks)

(panting)

-(panting) -Rolly: I've got it!

It doesn't bounce like a normal ball.

What am I supposed to do?

(grunting)

(sighs) This is harder than I thought.

Now Rolly needs help.

(panting)

Brother! Hey, Rolly!

-Huh? -Bingo: The ball! Jump!

Bingo, I'm trying to play the game.

And Zeus wins the game!

(crowd cheering)

Bob: (chuckles) It's okay, Rolly.

Oh! I would've gotten the ball if I wasn't so distracted.

I thought it'd help if I yelled out some tips.

I know. But it just made me mess up even more.

Oh, boy. We're definitely not winning right now.

Hal: Next up Cupcake, Tako,

-and Bingo! -(crowd cheering)

Don't worry, guys. I got this.

First dog to the finish line wins a point!

Eeee! Let's win this for Team Bob!

On your bark. (chuckling)

Who put this jumpy thingy in my way!

Hal:And the winner is B-I-N-G-O! Bingo!

-(crowd cheering) -Bingo: Ha ha!

Rolly, what's wrong?

Bob and I really wanted to win too, Bingo.

It's just, it might be more fun if you actually let us play.

What do you mean?

wins the trip to Puppyland!

(echoing) Who's ready for Mount Saint Ruff?

Now, each team must choose one dog

to compete in our biggest,

most challenging challenge ever!

It's got the boulder climb, the leaping ledge,

and the slippery slope!

First to the top wins!

(chuckles)

Bingo, you've got this.

You can jump better than any dog I know.

Bob: (chuckles) Are you ready, Bingo?

Oh, look at you, Bingo!

Your paw's injured!

You definitely shouldn't play if you're hurt.

You gotta play, Bingo. You just gotta.

You're the best player on our whole team!

I can't play, Rolly. I'm really hurt.

Rolly, you up for this, buddy?

(gulps audibly)

Rolly: It-it's so big.

I-I don't think I can, Bob.

Oh, hi, Dave.

(winces)

I, I hurt my paw,

and now I can't help Bob win.

Sometimes the best thing to do for your team

is cheer for them as loud as you can.

-Hal: Dave? -Ooh, game's about to begin.

What a rush! I love mail time.

I'll sure miss mail time while we're on our vacation

in New York this week.

(frantic voice on phone)

You need a new invention tomorrow?

But I'm supposed to leave for my vacation to New York today!

(frantic voice on phone)

Okay, okay, I'll-- I'll cancel my trip.

(muffled) Aww, look at Bob.

but it's not a happy "great gears."

I bet the mail will cheer him up!

(barking)

But I've got some bad news.

I know we were all so excited for our big New York trip today,

but I need to come up with a new invention by tomorrow,

so I've gotta spend the whole day working on it.

Which means... no New York trip.

Worst of all, I won't get to see

the Empire State Building:

one of the tallest,

most famous buildings in New York City.

(sighs)

I really wanted to see it.

(sighs)

Man, I wish he could see that building
