Please!

Looks like I've overestimated

Your Highness's sword skills.

The sword skills of the gods are no great shakes.

Demon Lord Nie, though your age is eighty thousand years older than me,

which is about three times than mine,

we are of the same generation after all.

I didn't expect you could defeat me.

I'm really convinced.

Your Highness, you're really sharp-tongued,

but I am the winner of the competition.

Winner takes all.

So your promise to me...

Wait!

Demon Lord Nie,

the sword competition of the Weapon Hiding Ceremony in Qingqiu is a section

when the new monarch and his/her consort face the challenges together.

Though you've won Her Highness Fengjiu who's the new monarch,

you haven't defeated the Prince Consort yet.

It seems too early for you

to get a promise from Qingqiu.

She has been married?!

To whom?

Could it be...

Since it's said by the Third Prince,

it's probably true.

Prince Consort?

I've never heard that Her Highness Fengjiu is married,

but that's all right.

I might still win.

Please come on to the platform.

Can we start?

I've gone out to sharpen the sword.

Well...

Well...

I knew you would lose.

No need to feel that you lost my face.

Are you tired?

No.

How come I lost?

Never mind.

How many rounds do you think you can survive under my attack?

Your Majesty, I'm flattered.

This is supposed to be a competition between people of the same generation,

but you're way older than me.

We're not of the same generation.

You say we are not of the same generation.

Why is that?

She's my Empress,

so she and I are of the same generation.

You just said you and her are of the same generation.

Then we are certainly of the same generation.

I heard you're deeply engrossed in sword skills.

What a coincidence!

I'm also deeply engrossed in sword skills.

So fate has brought us together.

Let's fight!

As to your first three attacks, I won't fight back.

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Your Majesty, you're really powerful!

I lost.

Young as she is,

she has actually learned to act first and report afterwards.

I think someone has taught her that.

Well done!

There really was a flash of red light in the ward.

I was outside the dense forest,

so I couldn't detect more breaths.

But when Demon Lord Nie was there...

Go ahead.

When it was Demon Lord Nie's turn to guard the ward,

generals outside the forest

would often lose consciousness somehow.

We mistakenly thought we fell asleep,

but we remembered nothing during these periods.

After repeated inquiries,

two thousand generals fell asleep at the same time,

which was really weird.

Did other demon lords have any objection?

Demon Lord Nie either persuaded other demon lords into resting

or claimed that he was sick,

so he never guarded the ward

with other demon lords.

After investigating the demon generals on guard before,

I found out that

Demon Lord Nie often entered the ward before,

and he would ask guards to leave when entering the ward,

so no one knew what happened inside.

Pass my word.

Demon Lord Nie and Demon Lord Yan should guard the ward together.

Without my order,

no one can make any change arbitrarily.

Yes!

How's your injury?

It's fine.

Though Nie Chuyin didn't defeat Fengjiu honorably,

you shouldn't have acted on impulse

to break his sword with pure strength.

He used magic power secretly. Why didn't you?

You entered the Dream of Aranya

with ten percent of your magic power.

The injury caused then has not healed yet.

Now you've again lost much vitality.

Never mind.

I'll be fine after regulating breathing.

You should go back first.

I'll wait for Xiaobai.

Why do you look at me this way?

As to your relationship with Fengjiu,

how to put it,

you were cold to her before,

but now you're madly in love.

When she is involved,

you never take a step back.

Are you still that majestic god from Tai Chen Palace

who has lived a reclusive life for tens of thousands of years.

Then when Cheng Yu is involved,

have you ever taken a step back?

I'm going to find Xiaobai.

Later, I have to visit my in-laws with her.

A loner as you are,

you should go back to your palace at once.

If any accident happens to you,

I'm afraid no one will notice for tens of thousands of years.

Xu Yang,

is it really necessary for us demon lords

to guard the ward in turns?

Why are you so upset?

Ji Heng is in the Sky Kingdom.

Aren't you worried at all?

Miao Luo has remained silent for days.

Perhaps, she'll remain silent for several hundred years.

Should we really waste time in guarding here for several hundred years?

Yan Chiwu,

you're so short-tempered.

How can I feel relieved to entrust you with Ji Heng?

I'm not...

What did you just say?

The blood tear is the heart blood of Miao Luo's primordial spirit.

To destroy it...

Are you gonna use drops of your blood

to fight with hers?

Ridiculous!

Without refining, the blood tear

won't become the heart blood of her primordial spirit.

If I attack with the golden blood,

I'll have to wake up her blood tear first.

Then we can only use magic instruments.

Demon Lord Xu Yang,

if you need,

the one hundred thousand generals of our clan are at your command

to guard the ward and kill Miao Luo.

A disaster is coming which will make the whole world suffer.

No need to keep our previous disagreement in mind.

Yan,

now our clan is at a critical moment of life and death.

Ji Heng is safer in the Sky Kingdom

than in our clan.

When it's all over,

you can take her back.

I hope that by then,

she can forgive me.

As to Nie Chuyin,

he's definitely up to something.

I just don't know

whether he's really with Miao Luo or not.

If he only wants to take my position,

it's fine.

But if he really colludes with Miao Luo...

Xu Yang.

No!

Elder brother!

I'm at your command.

Whoever you want to handle,

just tell me.

Yan,

I didn't expect that in the end,

the most trustworthy person in our clan

is you.

Nie Chuyin,

since you've stolen the show

at the Weapon Hiding Ceremony,

have you got any good news

to tell me?

Your Majesty,

I went to Qingqiu

to get a promise

so as to make amends for my faults.

I was going to tell you after I succeeded.

I thought that by defeating Fengjiu at the Weapon Hiding Ceremony,

I could get a promise from them

and trick them into coming to our place

so that you could eat them.

In this way, Your Majesty's power could be recovered.

Later in the War of Gods and Demons,

the fox clan of Qingqiu would be weak.

We can achieve many things at one stroke.

That being said,

you planned the whole thing for my sake.

Exactly!

But I didn't expect

to run into Empower Dong Hua

at the Weapon Hiding Ceremony.

Empower Dong Hua is extremely powerful.

I lost to him

and disgraced our clan.

You said you've fought with Dong Hua.

In your opinion,

how powerful is he?

Is there anything wrong with him?

Dong Hua is extremely powerful.

I lost to him

within three attacks.

In the Dream of Aranya,

clearly, he was gravely injured by me.

Right after that, he suppressed the Miaoyi Chasm,

which should have cost him a lot of cultivation.

How come he has recovered so fast?

Nie Chuyin,

from today on,

send two hundred demons

for me to eat every day.

In addition,

accelerate the pace of sabotaging

his relationship with other demon lords.

When he's alone,

I'll take care of him myself.

Yes!

Speaking of the marriage,

Your Majesty, you've seen many goddesses over tens of millions of years.

Why do you pick no one but Fengjiu

to be your Empress?

I fell in love with her at first sight.

His Majesty is more and more capable of

telling lies.

My daughter is usually mischievous.

We feel so honored that

she can gain your favor.

Now Fengjiu has become the monarch of the East Desert.

Young and inexperienced as she is,

I hope Your Majesty can help her more.

Surely I will.

But you don't need to worry.

Xiaobai is very capable.

From killing evils and fighting demons

to cooking dishes,

she's good at them all.

Cooking dishes?

She can make delicious sweet and sour fish.

I like it a lot.

Exactly.

Besides sweet and sour fish,

she can also make fried rabbit meat balls,

eight stewed mixed vegetables,

and stewed ginseng with millet,

which are all delicious.

Your Majesty, whatever you want to eat,

just ask her to cook for you.

OK.

Mom, I'm not a cook.

Moreover,

isn't there any cook in the Sky Kingdom?

Your Majesty, I wonder

when you're going to hold the wedding.

I've kept that in mind all the time.

I should've visited you in Qingqiu right after I got out of the valley,

but I heard that you're very strict when choosing the son-in-law.

Xiaobai was afraid that the elders

of the family might not like me,

so she was worried all the time.

Therefore, I couldn't visit you rashly.

Afraid?

For what?

Xiaobai was worried that

I might not meet the requirements

set by you to choose the son-in-law.

I'm not from a three-generation aristocratic family,

nor do I hold great power at present.

But now, immortals from

Eight Deserts and Six Directions all know

I'm the son-in-law of Qingqiu.

Even if you don't like me,

you'll have to

put up with me.

Your Majesty, that's not what we think.

I've practiced divination in person.

The sixth day of the fifth month is an auspicious day.

We might as well fix the date today.

The sixth day of the fifth month? There're only ten days left!

It's so fast!

How can we get everything ready before that?

After all, it's Your Majesty's wedding.

It can't be too simple.

Never mind.

Xiaobai likes crowds.

Just prepare everything according to the customs of Qingqiu.

Immortal Official Chong Lin, the Steward of Tai Chen Place,

is reliable.

With Tai Chen Palace and Qingqiu

making concerted efforts in holding the wedding,

nothing can go wrong.

As to the location of the wedding,

though I've got no parents,

I do want to hold the wedding in the place I grew up,

which is Bihai Cangling.

Bihai Cangling?

Such a holy land

is a gift from Father to Your Majesty for you to grow up.

How can we visit?

Why not?

This is the most important thing for Xiaobai and me.

I should invite immortals from Eight Deserts to Bihai Cangling

to drink wine at the wedding banquet together

so as to show its importance.

Your Majesty, for Fengjiu's sake,

you're actually willing to open Bihai Cangling?

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Bad news!

Miao Luo has stolen the holy blood tear.

Demon Lord Xu Yang asked you to go to the hall immediately.

What?

Missing?!

He's a demon lord of our clan.

If he's alive, bring him to me.

If he's dead, I want to see his corpse.

Yes!

Your Majesty, what should we do next?

After I finish cultivating,

I'll break out of the ward immediately.

Yes!

I was requested by God Bai Yi

to visit you today.

I thought you were sent by Bai Zhen

to reprimand me again.

Reprimand?

Who in the vast universe

dares to reprimand you?

Xiaobai and I are about to get married.

Now according to family hierarchy, you all rank higher than me.

That's right!

During the War of Gods and Demons,

Bai Yi fought enemies under your command.

Your words to him over the past hundreds of thousands of years

are fewer than what you've said today.

Originally, he dares not

doubt your words,

but Fengjiu is his precious baby.

You've taken away his baby.

How can he stay calm?

Do you know that

he disapproves of the marriage?

It's not because the two of you are of completely different generations,

but that

Fengjiu has suffered a lot because of you.

Now, Bai Yi has known

all the things Fengjiu did for you back then.

As a father, he feels so sad.

He's got a problem with you.

I can understand

his feeling.

Can you?

Have you ever been a father?

But now,

Xiaojiu loves you wholeheartedly,

and at the Weapon Hiding Ceremony, you've made everyone know that you're a couple.

Bai Yi certainly won't say anything.

So he sent me to ask you

what kind of future

you're willing to offer Fengjiu.

God Bai Yi wants my promise.

I understand,

and I can give my promise.

But this promise

is different from the engagement oath of ordinary couples.

I wonder what the promise is.

Things vary in the world.

Changes happen all the time.

Even I can't

see the future.

If the Bai family wants me to promise a future,

I'm afraid it's just an empty promise.

I don't know whether I can give Xiaobai

a peaceful and happy life,

but I promise to give Xiaobai freedom.

Freedom?

Right,

freedom.

Xiaobai is lively and cheerful.

I'll let her grow at will

according to her nature.

As long as I'm her husband,

I won't force her to do anything.

She can make any decision

as she likes.

Father has agreed?

What on earth did you tell him

to make him agree?

Come on! What's so secret?

What on earth did you tell him?

You don't need to know.

Really? What's so secret?

Tell me!

So,

what on earth did you tell him?

I said

I would take you to my home Bihai Cangling

to hold the delayed wedding banquet.

The scenery there is beautiful.

It's convenient for you to nurse your health,

and we can have a couple of fox cubs by the way.

You lied again!

I didn't.

Are you tired?

Get some sleep if you're tired.

Be a good girl and sleep.

His Majesty broke the iron sword

held by Demon Lord Xuan Nie Chuyin

in one move.

Instantly, that heavy iron sword

was cut into two pieces like a bamboo shoot,

and His Majesty's Canghe Sword

was pointing at the chest of Nie Chuyin.

In one move,

His Majesty actually created a marvelous sword technique

with changing movements and power.

The immortals present were all stunned.

On the one hand, they were infatuated with His Majesty's cool style of holding a sword.

On the other, they were ashamed that compared with primitive immortals,

they were weak

in magic tricks these years.

Luckily, in terms of magic tricks,

the demons made little progress, either,

which they found comforting.

Good!

Good! Good! Good!

Yes! Good!

Well said!

Bravo!

Yes!

How come Lord Cheng Yu is playing the role of a storyteller?

What's wrong with that?

It's been a long time since the Sky Kingdom was so lively.

Why can't we have some fun?

Well, some are really happy, while some are not.

What do you mean?

Si Ming, you don't like that?

You wronged me.

Previously, these little goddesses and little fairy maids

dared not go after His Majesty

simply because His Majesty

is too sacred

and legendary.

Never did it occur to them that

His Majesty would get married one day.

Perhaps they thought

even if His Majesty would get married,

he wouldn't marry someone of their generation.

Well, they were wrong.

But unexpectedly,

Dong Hua is really married,

and the Empress is Fengjiu from Qingqiu, a goddess of their generation,

which makes them even sadder.

It seems that this Weapon Hiding Ceremony

has broken many hearts.

Foster brother!

I want to see my foster brother!

Your Highness,

you can't go back to the Sky Kingdom without being summoned.

I want to see my foster brother.

Please report for me.

I want to see my foster brother.

Your Highness,

His Majesty has taken Her Highness Fengjiu to Bihai Cangling.

= Tai Chen Palace =

Bihai Cangling?

He has actually taken her to Bihai Cangling!

Foster brother!

= Tai Chen Palace =

If I hadn't run away from my wedding,

what would Bihai Cangling be like?

So beautiful!

It's so beautiful here!

It's way more beautiful than the Sky Kingdom!

Why don't you live here?

It's too spacious here.

I feel lonely living here alone.

I'll keep you company in the future.

Look!

Come here!

It's really beautiful!

What a pity it's so empty.

Well, in the future,

let's grow

grapefruits here,

and we can also grow pears.

Then we can grow some grapes over there.

We can build a long corridor here,

and we can also add an artificial hill.

Then on that open space over there,

we can plant your favorite Foling Flowers.

Good.

As you wish.

What else do you want?

These are all for me?

What about you?

Me?

I want to build a small lotus pond here.

Then we can also build a small pavilion.

Then we'll be able to watch the stars while enjoying the cool.

What's wrong?

Nothing.

I suddenly realized that

we were actually discussing

how to decorate our future home.

I found it surreal for a moment.

Home?

Though we may not stay here for long every year,

it's still our home.

Did I say anything wrong?

I like to hear you say "our home".

Of course it's our home.

Though our home is already beautiful,

if we decorate it in the future,

it'll become more beautiful.

Then we shall invite relatives and friends over

to drink tea and play.

What do you think?

You are the best!

I am!

If the Demon King gets the blood tear

and regains her devastating power,

the order that we've tried so hard to build

will be destroyed in one day.

But now Nie Chuyin is gradually seeking power

regardless of the safety of our clan.

Your Highness!

Your Highness!

Bad news!

Your Highness, bad news!

Something strange has happened on the Forbidden Land.

They may have found out.

Then just kill Xu Yang

to take back the blood tear.

This time, Xu Yang has placed the ward with his life.

There surely will be more powerful masters to protect it.

Incompetent as I am,

I'm no match for Yan Chiwu.

Your Majesty,

you were incarnated just now.

You've only got one shot to kill Xu Yang.

If you fail,

they'll inform Emperor Dong Hua right away.

I've got my way.

Yan,

are you supposed to guard here

with Nie Chuyin today?

Yes.

Something strange happened on the Forbidden Land yesterday.

I was busy checking the ward, and before I got time to look for him,

someone broke into the ward.

I had no choice but to inform you first.

Yan,

I suspect that Nie Chuyin

is the spy for Miao Luo.

Every time something strange happened,

the cause was inside the ward.

So one of us seven demon lords

must have tampered with the ward when setting it.

Moreover, now two demon lords are missing.

Missing?

Sorry guys,

I'm late.

What is more important

than guarding the holy blood tear of our clan?

Demon Lord Xu Yang,

I'm sorry.

I've been too tired recently,

so I failed to get up on time.

Yan,

please guard the ward here.

I'll go and look into

the case of the missing demon lords.

Also,

please help Nie Chuyin.

Remind him of the duties

he should fulfill as a demon lord.

Demon Lord Xu Yang, it seems that you don't trust me.

How about this?

You can go and investigate my palace in person.

What do you think?

Fine.

Then I'll borrow the two guards beside you

and visit your palace.

It's good to remove suspicion.

Xuan Yue?

Yes!

Take my Darksteel Sword

and go with Demon Lord Xu Yang.

If any evil monster dares

to be disrespectful to Demon Lord Xu Yang,

just attack directly.

To deal with Dong Hua,

I used seven thousand evil spirits to forge the Darksteel Sword.

I'd like to see

whether there are evil monsters

which are even fiercer than seven thousand evil spirits within the territory of demons.

Yes!

Nie Chuyin,

and you guys,

just stay here and keep me company.

Since Demon Lord Yan asked...

Nie Chuyin,

why weren't you surprised at all

when hearing that there are demon lords missing?

I encountered Demon Lord Nie on the way

and told him that.

Your Highness,

a messenger has come from Tai Chen Palace.

Demon Lord Xu Yang!

Rise!

Has His Majesty found the way to solve the problem?

His Majesty would like to invite

immortals to Bihai Cangling for his wedding.

This is the invitation for you from His Majesty,

and this is the invitation for Demon Lord Yan from Her Highness Fengjiu.

Bihai Cangling?

Emperor Dong Hua is actually going to open Bihai Cangling!

Our clan is unstable these days.

We'd like to have His Majesty here right after his wedding.

Demon Lord Xu Yang, is there anything wrong with the blood tear?

Recently, two demon lords guarding the ward

have gone missing.

I suspect that

Miao Luo has taken actions.

Recently, after receiving instructions from His Majesty,

I've used the Miaohua Mirror to investigate the Miaoyi Chasm,

and I've found nothing strange.

Nothing is wrong with the Miaoyi Chasm?

Immortal Official, I'll see you out.

Demon Lord Xu Yang, you're too kind.

Demon Lord Xu Yang, do you want to speak to me in private?

Immortal Official,

there must be a spy of Miao Luo in our clan.

I just don't know when they colluded with each other

and how they would contact with each other.

So please do tell His Majesty that

he must come here in person after the wedding.

I'd like to hand the blood tear over to him

so as to destroy it completely,

thus avoiding trouble later on.

Demon Lord Xu Yang, you're really sensible and righteous.

Faced with a formidable enemy,

we should make concerted efforts.

One more thing.

Please go ahead.

Is Ji Heng, my younger sister,

also in the Sky Kingdom now?

Yes.

Princess Ji Heng is resettled in the Sky Kingdom

with the clansmen of the Fanyin Valley.

Immortal Official, please look after her.

Please feel relieved.

It still needs some salt.

What did it say?

It said Chong Lin had sent our wedding invitations

to all the immortal houses.

Our wedding banquet is a few days away.

We can only stay here for one day.

Only for one day?

Since we've only got one day,

we shouldn't waste it.

Come on.
