♥ Eternal Love of Dream ♥

Episode 48

Your Excellency.

Here is a letter from Her Highness Aranya.

= Your Excellency, Princess Aranya is accused of killing the Emperor, =

= but the truth is that she is framed up. She has been put in prison now, =

= and will be beheaded before long. I hope Your Excellency can save her. By Chacha =

Qing Hua.

Your Excellency.

Now everything in the palace is under the control of Her Majesty.

They also placed many of their people in the Qi Nan Palace.

You must be careful. Your Excellency!

It seems that I underestimated her.

Your Excellency. Her Majesty has come.

Your plan

is really brilliant.

The situation in the palace

is basically stabilized now.

You made the greatest contribution.

I'm afraid you're not here to thank me.

I promised you that,

after we made it,

I would give you a respectable welcome back to the Qi Nan Palace.

I have kept my words.

You also promised me another thing.

Don't you remember it?

Of course I do.

Today I'm here

for that thing.

Perhaps you've known that

Aranya has been proved to commit the crime of regicide.

She is in prison at present

and will be beheaded another day.

Didn't you promise me that

you would hand Aranya over to me?

I know

you resent Aranya very much.

Keeping you in her mansion,

she did make a big mistake.

After all, she is my own flesh and blood.

I can't bear to

make her have long sufferings.

Even if she made the biggest mistake,

can't I get rid of your resentment

by punishing her with death penalty?

If you do me this favor,

just tell me whatever you need me

in the future.

It occurs to me something.

Please help me.

What is it?

There is a female teacher in the Imperial College called Wen Tian

who was kind to me when I was in difficulty.

If you really feel sorry for me,

just regard her as your foster daughter

and betroth her to me as my wife.

Unexpectedly,

you have such a romance.

It's easy.

Choose a lucky day

and I will send people to escort Wen Tian to your palace.

That's done!

Thank you, Your Majesty.

I know you marry me to repay my kindness.

But do you know

it was Her Highness Aranya

who treated you the best.

I saw her kindness to you

with my own eyes.

Now she is wronged,

but you just turn a blind eye to her.

It's true that I ever had a fancy for you.

But now I don't think

you deserve my love.

The master in the Imperial College

gave me several radix angelicae today.

It's said that the roots can be used as medicine,

for dispelling dampness and activating the blood if you boil them with water.

It's better to

boil them in spring water.

Most of the time, you just sit, so I think it's useful...

Since you said I didn't deserve your love,

then what do you mean by doing this?

With me around you,

Her Majesty will be relieved

and relax her vigilance on you.

What else did Her Majesty tell you?

Just some polite words.

Generally speaking,

she wanted to use me

to guard you.

To me,

you don't hold back anything.

With a clear conscience,

I have nothing to hold back.

Her Majesty has just been worrying that you may go to save Aranya.

But I think

she has overestimated you.

Actually I hope you can go to save Aranya.

Do you know that

it's best to soak the radix angelicae in the water of Heaven Spring.

I will take you to the Qi Nan Mountain

to fetch some spring water.

What do you mean?

Do you really give up Aranya?

You can leave now.

I have my own plan.

Wait.

The water in the Heaven Spring over there is better.

Take my advice.

If you believe me,

just put on a play with me.

You pretend to fall into the river carelessly,

and I will jump into the river to save you.

We can swim following the flow to the lower reaches

to avoid the guards for some time.

What are you going to do?

I want to save her.

This is the place where Xi Ze secludes himself.

You have the plan to send a letter to Xi Ze.

Why don't you tell me earlier?

I can't easily trust others now.

But what you said

is admirable!

This is about Aranya's life.

I was afraid

it was Qing Hua who asked you to sound out my intention,

so I must be very cautious.

The handwriting on the letter

is not yours?

When Xi Ze was in seclusion,

there were two archmages around to protect him.

Although I believe Xi Ze,

I can't trust them.

So I can only imitate someone else's handwriting.

You are so careful in thinking.

If it won't work,

what should we do?

Then there is only one way left.

That is to hand out the power of executing Aranya to the Qi Nan Palace.

At that time I will help her escape.

Then you'll be risking your life.

So what?

Although I don't want to see such a result,

yet if so,

I can only support you.

It turns out that

I misunderstood Shen Ye all the time.

He still tried to save Aranya in the end.

Just his way

was different from what you thought.

Well, at last, didn't Xi Ze receive the letter?

Or had Aranya been killed

before Xi Ze came to save her?

Do you want to know what happened later?

Then let's watch them together.

You suffered!

It's you.

My son.

You must return in triumph.

Yes, mother.

Report.

Your Majesty.

Aranya.

Someone broke into the prison and rescued Aranya.

What did you say?

Aranya was rescued.

You rubbish!

With so many people there, you even lost her?

Gather the imperial guards to search for her.

Search every corner of the city.

Yes.

Your Excellency.

Aranya was missing.

Don't you feel it's strange?

What else can I do?

Should I blame you for your decision

which caused the result?

You!

Listen! Shen Ye!

As for Aranya's escape, I'm sure to look into it.

= Distinguished Master, Qing Hua killed the Emperor and framed Aranya up. =

= Now Aranya is thrown into jail and in deadly danger. =

= I hope you could rescue her. By your unfilial disciple Shen Ye =

You have read the letter for tens of times.

Have you found anything strange?

According to the handwriting,

I can't recognize anything.

According to the content,

it must be someone who knows the fact.

I think

it should be Shen Ye.

It's not Shen Ye's handwriting.

He resents me so much.

How could he save me?

I want to go down the mountain.

I tried hard

to save you just now,

while you hasten to walk into the trap by yourself.

Is there anybody that you care there?

You used to say that

life is an experience.

I think it's reasonable.

The more you experience, the longer you live.

The less you experience, the shorter you live.

My life

seems very short.

Actually it's very long.

I have realized it recently.

Just now you asked me

who I still care.

That's my brother Xiangli He.

He always treats me well.

Maybe it was he who sent this letter to you.

Xiangli He has got the reins

to the front line

to fight with the night owls clan.

My brother is kind.

Probably this fight with the night owls clan

is not accidental.

It must be Her Majesty's plan

to make use of someone else to get rid of my brother.

But my brother

is never a good general who is skilled at fighting against the enemies.

Once he is in the battle,

he can't be back alive.

Even though Xiangli He is kind to you,

this is his fate.

Can you change his fate in defiance of nature?

You know my character.

So you can expect that I won't take a blind eye to him.

I'll go to the battlefield

to take the place of my brother.

Don't worry.

Cherishing my life very much,

of course I will judge and weigh the importance.

In my life,

there aren't many people who are kind to me.

Neither you nor Master Mo

will be so unlucky like my brother.

So there is need for me to take risks to save you two.

Yeah.

I know your temper.

It's no use persuading you.

Then I want to ask you

what if you can't go back this time.

If I can't be back alive,

I will die on the battlefield in the name of my brother.

Compared with being forced to commit suicide by Her Majesty,

it's more meaningful.

At that time,

please help my brother change his whole name

and send him to a safe place

to live a common life.

One more thing.

I ever wrote 20 letters to Shen Ye.

Please help me take them back.

The sincerity in the letters

now

seems ridiculous!

OK.

I have kept your entrustments in my mind.

I hope I won't need to do these things.

When will you go down the mountain?

With gentle wind in the sunshine,

I'd like to have a rest with a fresh mind.

Brother.

Aranya.

Archmage.

Why are you here?

Brother.

I'm here to tell you something important.

I'm listening.

Father's death has nothing to do with me.

It was mother who planned to frame me.

As for the fight between the night owls clan and our clan,

it's also her trick to get rid of you.

What did you say?

This fight

is mother's trick, right?

Yes.

In order to make Junuo ascend to throne,

she will get rid of you, me and Changdi.

Brother.

You must believe me.

I'm here

to save you.

No.

I don't believe it.

Sister.

Even if it's true,

I can't leave here.

Whatever

the cause of the battle is,

I will lead the troops to fight in the battle tomorrow.

I must protect the safety of the inseparable king bird clan.

Brother.

You must follow my words.

Don't be stubborn any more.

Guards.

Guards.

Today

I entrust my brother to you.

I'm sure to carry out your wishes.

Take care!

Remember!

You must be careful!

Aranya went to the battlefield instead of Xiangli He.

At that time,

what were you doing?

I knew nothing then.

Qing Hua was guarding me.

I thought

Aranya lived a good life with Xi Ze.

I planted Solanum pseudocapsicum trees everywhere in the garden of the Qi Nan Palace,

waiting her to come back.

But you didn't know

Aranya would die soon.

Your Majesty,

the situation in the battle is very bad.

Urgent military orders came one after another,

asking Your Majesty to send troops to support them.

Your Majesty.

I see.

Just leave.

Withdraw.

Withdraw.

Withdraw.

Withdraw.

Aranya.

You must look good wearing this flower.

Aranya.

Aranya.

Aranya.

Aranya.

Can you stand it?

Whether I can stand it

or not,

what difference will it make?

You can only stand it.

I have imagined

the scenes before Aranya's death for numerous times.

But I have never imagined anything

related to the truth.

Will you go on watching?

So many years has passed. Watching it,

I can still feel very miserable.

I can't imagine

how anguished Shen Ye was

when he heard Aranya's death.

I can't bear to go on watching.

But I still want to watch.

Why do you come?

Shen Ye.

Aranya ever wrote 20 letters to you.

I'm here to get them back for her.

Why did she suddenly want to get them back?

How could you ask me?

Aren't you clear in your mind?

As for love,

it's never aroused in my heart.

So I don't know what you are thinking

in your mind.

Since you give consideration to Aranya,

why do you force her into such a situation?

Both your choice

and her choice

are destined.

Well,

I'm here today

because I keep Aranya's wish made before she left in mind.

Give me the letters.

Before she left?

You saved her

but let her go?

How do you know that it was I who saved her?

You saved her

after receiving my letter to you, right?

It turns out that

it was you who wrote the letter.

I was afraid your archmages might recognize my handwriting.

So I imitated someone else's handwriting.

Unexpectedly, you didn't recognize it.

Neither did Aranya know it.

Where did she go?

Haven't you been told that

Aranya went to the battlefield?

Battlefield?

Since you can come here,

I'm sure you can help me leave here.

Wherever she is,

let's go to take her back immediately.

By now,

Aranya and I only have each other.

If anything goes wrong in our fate,

I hope it can't be here.

If it goes wrong...

Shen Ye.

Aranya has died.

Dead?

Aranya is dead?

Impossible.

How could it be possible?

Unexpectedly, you know nothing.

As for the document that you presented,

Qing Hua had shown it to her.

She said

she couldn't have a marriage with you

until she tried hard to get you.

Even though she was broad-minded,

there was still something that she couldn't stand.

Before she went to the Sixing River,

she said she would return.

I didn't expect that

she intended to die by going there.

It can't be true!

Impossible!

How could Aranya die?

She couldn't be dead.

I don't believe anything

that you said.

She has been dead.

Aranya has been dead.

Shen Ye.

Believe it

or not,

Aranya

has been dead.

It was after she died that

Qing Hua and Junuo knew it.

For the sake of the imperial power,

they hid it from me for a long time.

But I don't understand

why they hid it from you.

Tell me

where she is now.

On the battlefield, Aranya placed all her efforts in a single thing,

setting the Phoenix-warbling Formation.

As a dangerous ancient formation, it devoured her primordial spirit.

She has changed into dust,

vanishing in the Sixing River.

Arrows!

Yes.

Stop!

Mother.

No.

Shoot!

No.

Stop.

Stop.

Mother.

Shen Ye.

No.

Shen Ye.

Mother.

Junuo.

Shen Ye.

Aranya has died.

Why do you still bother to do this?

Shen Ye.

She has died.

She has died.

Wait for me.

I love you.

Even though you played tricks on me,

you shouldn't treat me so resolutely and desperately.

No matter what fate I will have

and who I will become,

I can't meet you anymore.

Aranya.

If I had known it,

why should I bear it patiently;

why should I fear

the mortal realm

and what do I live for?

With mountains, water,

flowers, birds, insects and fish here,

it's good for Aranya

to rest here.

Since Aranya can't be back,

it's my final ending

to be buried here with her.

It's also yours.

Shen Ye is just the archmage of the inseparable king bird clan.

How could he be so powerful to destroy everything?

Let's finish watching first.

Lord Xi Ze.

Why did you save them?

They killed Aranya!

Shen Ye.

Anyhow, I am the archmage of the inseparable king bird clan.

As for such a crisis of the extermination of the whole clan,

how could I stand by?

Besides,

it's possible for Aranya to come back to life again.

Have you heard that

there is a magic instrument in the Sky Kingdom

named Spirit-Forming Lantern?

It can only make people from the human realm come back to life.

It's useless to us earth immortals.

Everything has its rules.

As long as we follow the rules of the Spirit-Forming Lantern

to build a place to nourish her soul,

then it's possible for Aranya to come back to life.

Do you want to be buried here with her

with regret

or hope to see her again?

What should I do?

Would you like to

devote all your cultivation

to creating a new world for Aranya?

At first, Aranya will just have a body.

However, as long as you collect her lost primordial spirit,

she will come back to life.

Are you serious?

Of course.

Whether you can make it or not,

it depends on your patience.

I have lost Aranya.

There's nothing that I can't sacrifice.

I'm going to create a world for her as soon as possible.

Shen Ye.

You don't need to hurry

to create a new world.

You must take it easy.

If you are in such a hurry,

your cultivation

will be exhausted very soon.

I have lost Aranya.

As long as she can come back to life,

it's nothing for me to exhaust all my cultivation.

This...

What's wrong?

Hmm.

Aranya has left.

So I took away three seasons for her.

From now on,

in the Fanyin Valley, there is only severe winter,

coldness

and fear.

I will make you remember that

her name

is Xiangli Aranya.

I thought

I played a miserable role

in Aranya's love life.

Unexpectedly,

when it comes to the bitter love,

Shen Ye is more miserable than me.

Knowing such a result,

I'm afraid it's not what you wish for.

I have looked into it for many years,

hoping to know the result.

Anyhow,

it's just a result.

You asked me

why Shen Ye was so powerful to destroy the world.

I'm afraid

we have to go back to know his origin.

This is...

The period before he was born.

Going back to three hundred years ago,

why did Shen Ye appear in the Sky Kingdom?

This...

This is the Tai Chen Palace.

As expected, he did have something to do with me.
