♥ Eternal Love of Dream ♥

Episode 21

Song Xuanren,

the whole secret chamber hasn't another way out.

You can't escape from here.

Let's have a quick fight to decide the winner.

If I kill you in person,

we won't owe each other anything.

We don't have to fight

any more in the rest of life.

It's you again

who disturb my business over and over.

Xiaojiu.

Your Majesty,

the knife he's holding is a demon knife.

Who on earth are you, a human being or a demon?

It'll be fine that

you protect him this hard.

I'll make you accompany him to death.

Kill them both.

Ye Qingti.

Your Majesty, you go first.

Go with me.

Quick.

Quick.

Run.

Quick.

Run.

Qingti.

Don't.

Let's go.

Don't.

Qingti.

Let's go.

Qingti.

Go.

Qingti.

Qingti.

Qingti.

Qingti.

Don't.

Qingti.

Don't.

Don't.

Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu.

Don't scare me, Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu.

What's on earth is happening?

The emperor of the State of Chengyu appeared in a sudden.

But

he is Emperor Dong Hua.

Dong Hua?

Have you seen him clearly?

Absolutely clearly.

Dong Hua goes to the mortal realm?

For soul-locking jade?

Your Highness,

what should we do now?

Go back to the State of Chong'an first.

We'll talk about others later.

Yes.

How is she?

The pulse of Madam Jiu is gentle,

but her wound is strange.

Her wound is deep,

but she's not bleeding.

And the wound isn't healing.

When can she wake up?

Report to Your Majesty.

Madam Jiu might have a heart disease.

When she can wake up

may...

may depend on her fortune.

I'm going to prescribe some medicines for invigorating heart first.

All of you withdraw.

Yes.

Xiaojiu,

I always think you don't care about me,

but this time,

you've saved my life without concerning about your own safety again.

I knew yesterday

that you're not a mortal.

Then where do you come from?

Are you an immortal in heaven?

Please answer me.

I want to accompany you

instead of going anywhere.

I want

us to forget everything that has happened.

I want a fresh start.

Withdraw.

- Yes. - Yes.

I'll hold an elaborate funeral for my elder brother.

Rest assured, mother.

Don't bury him.

Don't bury him.

Mother.

I'm so sad.

I even hate myself

for not disciplining your elder brother.

Mother.

I try that hard to raise you two up.

What worries me the most

is that you two may engage in a fratricidal struggle on some day.

The day has finally come,

and it has also led to a catastrophe.

So many innocent people were killed,

and our State of Chengyu has been harshly weakened.

Song Xuanying,

he's not my son,

but the sinner of the entire dynasty.

Mother.

He doesn't deserve a funeral.

Let him decay in the underground palace.

Xuanren,

the whole State of Chengyu will count on you alone.

I know it'll be hard,

but you have to take the responsibility, no matter how hard it will be.

We can't let the State of Chengyu fall down in our generation.

I get it.

Rest assured, mother.

Thanks to

Madam Jiu

and Ye Qingti this time.

Ye Qingti sacrificed himself for you.

It's enough.

Don't hate him anymore.

As for Bai Xiaojiu.

Let it go.

Your affection for her

and her worship for you

are what I haven't expected.

She has saved you again.

I've figured it out.

Later,

regardless of you allowing her to go back where she comes from,

or be a Madam continuously,

or even the empress,

I won't stop you.

Mother.

Ren'er,

what a man

should do in his entire life is learn to endure.

It's impossible

to let oneself enjoy the time

while make other people satisfied.

There're too many things.

There's too much sorrow.

What we can do is endure.

Maybe it's the grief of being an imperial member.

Mother,

lie down to have a rest.

Qingti.

Don't hide yourself, Qingti.

Ye Qingti,

is it you?

Qingti.

Qingti.

Qingti,

you died because of me.

In the three realms,

where on earth are you?

Where on earth are you?

What's up?

What are you hiding?

Nothing.

Just a little something

I wanted to give you.

But I haven't got the chance.

You can't take back what you sent out.

Take it.

It's beautiful.

Really?

I thought you got tired of the delicate articles in the palace,

and don't fancy something like it.

No, it's not true.

Does it look nice?

You like it?

I'm glad you like it.

Do you regret it?

No.

I just feel sorry

to drag you into this.

No need to be so polite to me.

Run.

Qingti.

Qingti,

you lost your life

because of my stubbornness.

Now that I can't make up for you now,

I can observe three years of mourning for you.

Your Highness, you wake up.

Call someone

to report to His Majesty that

Her Highness has woken up.

Yes.

Your Highness,

you've scared me so much.

You finally wake up.

Your Highness,

what do you wear on your head?

What time is it?

It's past 11 o'clock at night.

Your Highness, where are you going?

I want to take a walk.

Wait for me, Your Highness.

Allow me to accompany you.

Muyun,

leave me alone.

Cheng Yu,

Ye Qingti is dead.

I've never expected that there would be someone

who's willing to die for me.

I owe him a life.

Dying for you

perhaps is his destiny.

What else can I do?

How can I requite him?

Human being is originally different from the immortal.

There's nothing you can do

but wait for the next opportunity.

Perhaps

you'll meet each other again.

You have to take good care of yourself no matter how deep sorrow you are in.

The powder can heal a wound cut by a demon knife.

Keep it well.

Apply it on time.

Don't follow me.

Yes.

Go back with me.

Why do I have to go back?

I'm fine here.

I want to admire the moon here alone.

I don't want to go back.

Fine. I'll accompany you.

Are you willing to remain my empress?

Everything has come to an end.

Let's have a fresh start, shall we?

If you don't prefer the constrictions,

I'll do whatever you wish,

just the same as we used to do.

What do you think?

Quick. Report to His Majesty.

Her Highness has gone again.

What?

Hurry up.

Have you found her?

We have searched everywhere,

but there's no trace of her in the imperial palace.

Report.

Your Majesty, there comes the news.

The guard at the Jiangyu Gate reported that

Madam Jiu rode outside the palace towards the west early in the morning.

Prepare a horse.

Hurry up. Prepare a horse.

Yes.

Qingti,

it's me who get you involved in trouble this life.

It's all my fault.

It's all because I cling to the happiness in the mortal realm.

I cling to the affection of His Majesty.

And I fail to end everything soon.

It's all my fault.

Xiaojiu.

Don't come here.

Sure.

As you wish.

Don't stand there.

It's too dangerous.

Come here.

Come.

Your Majesty,

you've been asking me for

who is the one in my heart, haven't you?

The one I put in my heart

is Ye Qingti.

I don't believe what you're saying.

You must be lying to me.

I have asked Ye Qingti.

You don't love him at all.

If you do love him,

why do you save me over and over?

Come here.

We can have a talk.

Since I came to the imperial palace,

being an Imperial Lady,

a Madam,

even an empress

hasn't made me happy.

Because the one I love isn't you.

Fine. Fine. Fine.

It's fine.

Even though

the one you loved earlier is him,

he has already died now.

Let's start with a clean slate, shall we?

Why...

why don't you accept me, even though he has died?

Do I mean

nothing to you in your heart?

Fine.

I'll do what you wish.

I won't force you.

I'll let you go.

Let you leave the imperial palace.

Let you have the life you want, will you?

Xiaojiu,

come here.

Come here.

Your Majesty,

I once expected that

I would be in my deepest sorrow when I loved you without your response.

But now I find that

the sorrow that you fall for me without my response

will overwhelm me.

Your Majesty,

I'm sorry for

not responding to your love.

It's not only your misfortune,

but also mine.

Xiaojiu.

Your Majesty,

goodbye.

Don't.

Your Majesty.

Xiaojiu.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

Your Majesty.

No.

No.

Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu.

Xiaojiu, wait for me.

Wait for me.

Isn't anything wrong with His Majesty, is it?

Your Excellency,

the disease His Majesty got doesn't matter.

But...

but His Majesty is heart-broken,

and has no will to live,

which matters the most.

It's...

You must have some methods to bring Ye Qingti back to life,

mustn't you?

Ye Qingti is killed by a demon knife,

and has been penetrated by the vicious demon spirit.

Even if he had an opportunity to resurrect,

he would only be a vicious demon,

experiencing generations of miserable cycle.

Isn't there any way to help him out?

The only way to make it up is

to create another immortal body

to neutralize the demon spirit.

And then clear up what he owns as a human being in the Ninth Heaven Jade Pool

to make him an immortal.

Being an immortal?

Wouldn't that be better than going back to the mortal realm?

Then I'll be able to see Qingti

in the Sky Kingdom.

But it'll be hard during the process.

Think about it.

How hard will it be to make an ordinary person become an immortal?

How can it be possible

to create an immortal body so easily?

How can an immortal body be created?

There is a kind of tree named pimpon,

which blossoms once every ten years

and bears fruits once every ten years.

According to the age of the tree,

the fruits can have different uses.

Fruits of certain age

can not only make a mortal back to life,

but can also turn a mortal into an immortal.

What a magical fruit it is!

Then where can I find a pimpon tree?

In Sukhavati,

over the Sky Kingdom.

There are also several places where pimpon trees can be found,

but unluckily,

pimpon trees among the Heaven and the Earth

haven't borne any fruit

since the recent thousands of years.

However, these pimpon trees don't die away,

they have been growing.

Maybe they can bear some fruits

in a short while.

Wait for the opportunity.

You will have to wait for the opportunity

that can make a mortal become an immortal.

I can help you

to put Ye Qing in the Yuanqi Terrace first,

letting him absorb some energy.

I can keep him in safety temporarily,

which can buy you more time.

Your Majesty.

Ren'er,

why do you look so withered?

Mother.

Ren'er,

you are the emperor of the State of Chengyu.

You can't give up on yourself to this extent.

If you keep acting like this,

what should civil and military officials

and all citizens

of our state do?

Do you forget what late Emperor has taught you?

How can you abandon the responsibility for

inheriting the achievements and merits made by forebears

just because of a woman?

Ren'er,

I've already lost one child.

I can't endure to

lose you anymore.

Ren'er.

I'm not a filial son.

Mother, please choose another to be the emperor.

Make it brighter.

Your Majesty,

all the candles have been lit.

Make it brighter,

then I can see Xiaojiu's face clearly.
