Says here, this is a type of simple machine called a pulley.
It's a rope wrapped around a wheel that makes it easier to lift heavy loads.

all you have to do is pull on this rope, and you'll lift something really heavy.

but these dinosaurs are fascinating.

Experiencing these exhibits has filled my memory banks
with so many incredible new things.

And how hot and noisy a prehistoric jungle was.
And how big feet can be.
And I learned why humans come to museums to learn,
because museums let you touch, feel, see and hear things to learn more about them.

Hey, another interactive exhibit. It's a dinosaur nest.
I wonder what it felt like to sit in one of those.
