Original subtitles

So we told that we need to use transparent VIP mode and a domain of CCMA

I'll start with call one before I configure event notice.

Show VTB status.

Default mode is server VTB version is to no domain is configured at the moment current number of existing

v lines is 7.

So what I'll do now is sector of the VTB mode to transparent and set the V.P. domain to CCNY I we then

need to configure v lines 10 20 30 and 100.

So we simply add v lines like this.

So now show v lan brief we can see that these v lands are in the V land database.

So again you could use a script to do this.

What I'll do is use a script that says a VTB mode transparent VTB domain CCNY and then all simply create

the V lands on the switches.

When you do scripts like that in notepad make sure that the changes are actually made in the way that

you think they are.

So I'll paste the configuration in output looks good.

The ETP mode was changed to transparent domain was changed to CCNY the V lands were accepted.

So let's confirm that show VTB status.

Notice of VTB status is transparent.

VTB domain is CCMA show v land brief.

We can see the V lines in the V land database let's confirm the VTB status.

Sure VIP status notice domain is CCMA mode is transparent.

Make sure that you check that what you think you've done has been done.

In other words verify your changes to make sure OK.

So on the access switch we can do something similar.

We can paste that configuration

show VTB status is transparent domain is CCN CCMA show v land brief.

We've gone to the V lands in the V land database so that looks good do something on access switch to

show VTB status.

Most Transparent domain is CCMA show v land a brief v lands or in the villain database.

So that looks great a lost switch paste of the config in show VTB status.

Mode is transparent domain is CCMA show v land brief v lands or in the villain database.

So that looks good.

We don't configure VTB and V lands on a rota a right is a layer 3 device so we don't do it on that.

We only do it on the campus devices the next step is to configure ports between switches as trunks and

configure access ports on links to the pieces.
