[New Horizon]

[Episode 24]

No plan,

no action.

What should we do now?

I can have a talk with Li Teng.

Does it work?

Just have a try. Maybe it works.

OK. then. I'll go with you.

No, I can do it myself.

No, you can't.

He likes to

grope women.

I'm afraid you may be in danger.

Things are more complicated with more people there.

I'll just talk to him.

If things get bad,

I'll run off at once.

Don't worry.

Take it easy.

So delicious.

You must be careful.

Rest assured.

Xia Yu.

I'm sorry.

It's all my fault. I put the whole company at risk.

And I got you in trouble too.

You don't need to apologize.

I've told you that it wasn't for you.

Don't flatter yourself.

It was for

the staff of Air Genial.

Stop harping on that.

Just do your job.

Mr. Li, Miss Wu is here.

Here you are, Captain Wu.

I'm sorry that I can't welcome you myself

because I'm injured.

Come on, sit here.

The thing about Xia Yu

happened because of me.

Is there anything I can do

so you'll let Xia Yu off?

It seems that you came to solve the problem.

Yes.

Well, it depends on

how sincere you are.

What?

All right.

You

empty this bottle of wine first.

We'll talk about this then.

Captain Wu,

it seems that you're not sincere enough.

And yet you want to settle it?

What else?

Is drinking the only way?

Excuse me.

What the hell are you doing?

Do they look like

some pushovers to you?

What you did

can't help Xia Yu.

You may even

make things worse.

I didn't think too much.

You didn't?

You're a girl.

When dealing with a group of men,

who would be to blame

if anything happens?

How can we

save Xia Yu?

The police are investigating.

They will find out the truth.

Xia Yu would be fine

if he didn't do anything.

Don't mess around because you're worried.

Let's go.

Class monitor.

Xia Yu?

Why are you here?

I come here

just to see the planes and the sky.

It seems that

you really love it.

My current work is fine.

But when I see the sky

or the planes occasionally,

I feel warm.

I know how you feel.

What you were always dreaming of

is to fly in the sky.

Yes.

After all, I've ever striven for it

given it my best.

Actually, I think it doesn't matter

whether I can fly or not.

But sometimes,

at a certain moment,

I realize that

I hate to give up flying.

Every time I stand here,

watching these planes taking off and then landing,

I know I have a deep affection for

flying a plane.

Xia Yu,

I think

you're not the same as you were at school.

I'm more handsome now.

Back at school,

you never put your game face on.

All you did were chasing after girls.

But now,

I can tell that you've found your purpose.

People will grow up one day.

Since you love flying so much,

don't give it up.

Sorry to bother you.

Never mind.

I know

you don't want her to think so much.

Wu Di is pretty upset now

so I can only turn to you.

Do you remember what happened?

Yes. Everything.

So the details are?

How on earth Xia Yu

fractured Li Teng?

Li Teng was fractured?

Yes.

How could it be?

His arm is cast all this time.

Xia Yu just gave him a shove

without touching his arm.

How could he be fractured?

There must be more to it than that.

He must do it on purpose

to frame Xia Yu.

We have to check it again.

Could you look after Wu Di?

I'm afraid she may make any trouble.

Don't worry.

She's blaming herself now,

thinking it's she who put Xia Yu in this place.

By the way,

this begins with me.

If a pilot

can't fly anymore,

it'll be a great shock to him.

Did you come up with something?

I have an idea.

The surveillance footage.

I got it.

Is it him?

Yes, it's them.

Anything else?

Nothing.

Outside is not part of

the security coverage

of our airport.

Tao Tao, I heard that

you're well-connected.

Well, you got the right guy.

Go ahead,

what can I do for you?

Tong Yuan,

you are also an IT expert, aren't you?

I can do everything

as long as it's about computers.

I need your help.

He's Li Teng,

the passenger who is accusing Xia Yu

of beating him.

But through my initial investigation,

when he left the airport,

his arm wasn't injured.

So

I suspect that he's framing Xia Yu.

Then what can we do?

I hope

you can make full use of your strength,

collecting evidence from the Internet

and proving that

Li Teng was not fractured

or that it's not

because of Xia Yu.

Only with this

can we gain the upper hand

when negotiating with him.

Okay.

No problem.

Mind the boundaries.

Got it.

All right.

Oh my god.

Searching for the evidence of Li Teng's trick

on the Internet

is no less than looking for a needle in a haystack.

How could Li Teng be so stupid

to post it online?

Well, you got a point.

But it's also true

that he's associating with many indecent people.

Now,

I'm going to check out his Weibo.

I... I don't think

it's a good idea.

Upon we find the evidence,

it's he

who should be worried.

Come on.

Have a look.

Is this Li Teng?

Definitely.

We finally find it.

You again?

Read it first.

Surprise.

How did you get this?

It's the Internet.

You may know it better than me.

Everything you do online

will be recorded by servers.

It can be

dug out legally and reasonably.

I advise you

to drop your charges

when things are under control.

Otherwise,

we'll sue you

against your slander.

Not only you

but also your accomplices

who perjured themselves.

Think it over.

Xia Yu,

do you remember

that I once rode a bike

and took you to the Liuyang Reservoir

for fishing when you were little?

About that...

Come in.

Li Teng dropped his charges.

Did you

force Wu Di to do something

to settle this matter?

Why don't you

trust me?

Have I ever broken any promise

that I made to you?

You sure?

Why did he give up for no reason?

What happened?

Hello.

Where are you?

Dispatch Office.

Do wait for me. I'm coming.

Du Wei.

What's up?

I'll explain to you on the way.

Be quick.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Hurry up!

Li Teng dropped the charges?

Yes.

There must be something

lurking behind.

I'm afraid Wu Di is involved.

So I want to check with you.

Since you're so worried about Wu Di,

why not ask her yourself?

You know it well.

I'm intending to

keep a distance from her.

How could I ask her?

Just tell me

whether she got blamed or not.

Of course.

Really?

What are you doing?

What did you say?

How's she?

Wu Di went to talk to Li Teng, trying to reconcile with him.

She almost got humiliated.

Then,

Humiliated?

Where's my fire hydrant?

What's wrong with you?

I say almost!

Almost got humiliated.

Then Xiao Mo got there

and saved her.

Can you

stay calm?

Hear the whole story first.

Xiao Mo was worried that Wu Di

might do something impulsively.

So he came to me

to learn everything about the incident.

He also said he'd watch the surveillance footage.

Now it's resolved.

Li Teng dropped his charges.

His method works.

Why is it Xiao Mo again?

How can he always be so calm

when handling things?

Actually, you don't need to compare with him.

You're different.

Why do you want to be the same as him?

Even if there's no difference between you two,

you could become

be his stand-in?

When did I compare myself with him?

I just wonder

why my efforts always ended up in vain

concerning helping Wu Di

while Xiao Mo always managed to yield more despite doing less?

Why?

Because you're childish.

You call this comforting?

I'm simply telling the truth.

There's nothing wrong

with you to keep a distance from Wu Di.

It doesn't mean you must cut off the connection entirely.

But you keep a poker face all day.

You avoid her

just like a mouse would do to a cat.

It isn't a big deal.

But your behavior

shows everyone

your guilty conscience.

What should I do then?

How would I know?

Anyway,

your current strategy

is useless.

Well,

you're right.

But you should

give me some time

to adjust my attitude to her.

In short, don't do it again,

okay?

Speaking of which,

you're so good at lecturing me

but how are things with

you and your boyfriend from Macao?

Are you still in touch?

I'm tired.

Drive me home.

I need to sleep.

Just tell me about it.

Can we go now?

Go!

All right, here we go.

Wu Di,

I was about to look for you.

What is it?

That thing is settled.

Li Teng has dropped the charges.

Really?

That's great!

These are all thanks to Xiao Mo.

It's his idea.

What did he do?

You can ask him yourself.

And... thank you.

For what?

I didn't do anything.

Du Wei told me that

you went to find them

and tried to reconcile with them

for me.

Don't thank me.

You're my friend.

Oh, right.

I have to go for Xiao Mo

and thank him in person.

I gotta go.

Xiao Mo.

Xiao Mo.

Why did you help me?

No why.

I just did

what I think right.

Because you wanted to help Wu Di, right?

A fact is a fact.

It's not your fault.

No one can wrong you.

Do you want me

to owe you one?

I don't want to lose

a good opponent.

Don't you want to break

my record of flight simulator?

You haven't made it yet.

How can you give up just like that?

Okay,

Opponent.

Xiao Mo, I'm much obliged to you.

Can you be more professional?

OK.

It's slanted.

I got it.

Slightly to the right.

To the right.

Test the microphone.

Speak out.

It's too loud.

Keep your voice down.

I can't be heard then.

Okay, it's just right.

Tong Yuan, I'm telling you.

Don't mess up

the interview of Dream to Fly.

What are you doing?

Hey, Luo Dong is here.

You're here in time. Come on.

I'll interview you.

Interview me?

Yes.

All right.

Wait.

Tell us a little about yourself.

OK.

Hello, I'm...

Is it OK?

Well.

Hello, I'm Luo Dong.

I'm an excellent pilot.

What's wrong with you?

Did I say anything wrong?

Nothing, nothing.

Hello,

I'm a captain of Air Genial,

Ren Yuan.

I'm a co-pilot of Air Genial,

Xia Yu.

I'm Yu Jie.

My parents were busy when I was a child.

It's rare for me to see my mum.

So every time

my dad took me to the airport,

many pilots

would walk past me.

I had the thought that

they could

take my mum back safely.

Let those children

who love flying

to feel its charm,

get its fun,

and see a larger world.

This thought

set deep in my mind

so I want to become a pilot

when I grow up.

I believe you all know that

pilot's epaulets

are various.

The one of a co-pilot has three stripes

while which of a captain has four.

Dream to Fly

is like a two-head carriage.

I have had this dream

to be a pilot

since I was a child.

The first stripe

represents knowledge.

The second,

technique.

The third, profession.

On the one hand,

it aims to develop teenagers' interest

in planes and flying.

On the other hand,

they can be closer to their dreams.

I'm so privileged

to be one of

the first batch of female pilots

of Air Genial.

And the fourth stripe,

the one on captains' shoulder

and not on co-pilots',

is responsibility.

As a pilot,

the most important duty and responsibility

is to take all the passengers

to the destination safely.

So

every flight

of each pilot

bears the weight of hundreds of lives.

Though it looks cool,

it means a lot.

It's not an easy job

to be a pilot.

It's also not something you can do only because you want to.

You must make full preparation

to fulfill your duties.

Mr. Ren's speech

is so inspiring.

Cut it off.

He's not here.

I mean what I said.

Well,

these videos

are about to be uploaded.

But don't you think

something's missing

on this website?

What do you guys think?

Now that

we got the interviews with children who love flying

and with the captains who can fly

why not interview the parents of these children

and ask why they

support their children

to learn to fly a plane here.

Yes.

Good idea.

Right.

Yu Jie and I will do the interviews.

You two are responsible for

the videos and website.

Is that OK?

Okay, no problem.

We'll make it!

Trust us.

I got you back.

I trust you.

You sure do.

The accuracy of pregnancy tests is 99.5%.

Five in one thousand of inaccuracy.

It should happen to me!

How lucky we are!

Honey!

We should buy a lottery,

shouldn't we?

You're so happy about it,

aren't you?

I'm not.

I also feel disappointed.

But we can try harder,

right?

We're so in love.

There's nothing to be afraid of, right?

Let's go home.

No, I have to get back.

Come on.

The doctor has said that you're not pregnant.

It's embarrassing for you to go back.

So embarrassing.

It's not that.

It occurs to me that

Bai Xiao Yun

who delivered her baby on the plane

is in this hospital.

I'd like to visit her.

Well,

I'll go with you.

Excuse me.

Is the parturient called Bai Xiao Yun

who was sent from the airport before

still here?

You're the purser

on that flight, right?

You are that nurse!

Hi!

What a coincidence!

Hello.

The baby is still here.

But the mother

passed away

soon after she was sent here

because of postpartum complications.

Passed away?

How could it be?

Where's the baby?

The baby too fragile

to leave ICU.

Let's go and see her.

Can we?

Yes.

But you can only

watch from the outside.

Here you are.

Come with me.

The baby's here.

Help yourself.

I've got things to do.

All right. Thanks a lot.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Poor baby.

The father died before she was born.

Now the mother is also dead.

That makes her an orphan, right?

Are you the parents?

We're the crew members.

We delivered the baby on the plane.

I didn't expect...

What's wrong with her?

She's diagnosed with

inborn errors of metabolism.

Is it serious?

It's not hard to stabilize it.

What really counts is that

we can't find her family even if she's cured.

And nobody is willing to adopt her.

In that case,

we could only send her to a care home.

Uh, yeah.

Thanks, doc.

Well.

Poor little thing.

It's not hard to stabilize it.

What really counts is that

we can't contact her family even if she's cured.

And nobody is willing to adopt her.

In that case,

we could only send her to a care home.

Honey, it's time for dinner.

Honey, time for dinner.

Honey?

Honey?

What's wrong? Dinner time.

Don't worry.

There are so many doctors in the hospital.

She will be

taken good care of. Isn't it?

Don't you think so?

I gotta take this.

Hello, Xiao Mo.

What's up?

Brother Yuan,

I'm going to go back to our hometown

with Wu Di

next holiday.

Would you like to come?

Well, no, we'll pass.

You guys go ahead.

OK, bye.

Have fun, bye.

Honey,

it tastes really good.

Have dinner with me,

okay?

Come on.

Come here.

How's that going

with your plans?

There's no problem

technically.

My editing is also in progress.

I think

all is well.

Okay,

we'll wait and see.

Just leave it to us.

We will definitely show you

a decent website!

What about the children?

We've found six schools

that are interested in it.

We've also made contacts with the principals.

But the details

are not clear until we meet each other.

I have a suggestion

about this.

Considering there are six schools,

we might as well

divide them into two groups.

Three for you and I'll meet with the rest.

It brings about better efficiency.

I agree.

It sounds great.

I think so.

If everything goes well,

we can make it

within one day.

Actually,

two people are enough for me here.

Maybe I can team up with Wu Di.

Well, you do manage a balance

between work and love.

What a great

public display of affection.

We're so poor.

It seems that

I can only go with you, Xia Yu.

Not bad.

You're

always together anyway.

Who wants to go with you?

I'll go with Yu Jie.

Yu Jie,

may I team up with you?

No problem.

I also want to go with you.

Yu Jie,

what's the matter with you?

I have never seen you

talk this way.

There're plenty of things you've never seen.

Should I tell you

one by one?

Something is up.

There may be a new couple

in our class.

That's it. Let's continue.

Soon afterward,

I'm going to Macao

to attend the International Aviation Exhibition.

I'll also promote our Dream to Fly project.

Let's work together and keep up the good work.

He's shy.

Really?

Yu Jie said that?

That's for sure.

"I also want to go with you."

That's exactly what she said.

Who are you talking about?

Who else could it be?

Of course Xia Yu.

You didn't know

it was such an awkward moment for everyone

when we heard it.

We all kept silent.

Wu Di was there.

She was like staking her claim

in front of Wu Di?

I can't tell you how thrilling

that scene is.

Can't believe it.

She looks so cold usually.

I never thought of it.

Pilots used to

date attendants.

Exactly.

Now

pilots go with pilots.

What about us?

Don't forget me,

sisters.

You?

You're our bestie.

Prince Gossip, it's all up to you.

Go ahead. Find out more information for us.

Yu Jie, what a coincidence.

You're here to buy coffee also?

Or what?

Gossiping here like you?

I'm just caring about you.

Why did you say that?

Are you getting quite close

to Xia Yu?

A cup of mocha please.

All right.

It shouldn't be a problem

since we are both single, right?

I gotta go.

It's true!

Luo Dong.

What?

Water.

What's the matter?

Anything wrong?

Nothing.

Xia Yu,

I've been thinking

these two days.

I think

Yu Jie is just

a tomboy.

You two don't match

each other.

Now you know?

So why did you

introduce her to me in the first place?

You know

I'm a little slow on the uptake.

Actually... Yu Jie...

What are you trying to say?

I don't know.

You like her.

Don't be so ridiculous.

Yu Jie and I...

Are you kidding me?

You know

I'm not feeling anything special towards her.

But your behavior

would mislead others,

especially Yu Jie.

She may think that you are fond of her.

Really?

Of course.

You're really

a little closer to her recently.

You should take the initiative

to be her partner this time.

You say,

didn't you mislead her that way?

Let alone Yu Jie,

so did I.

It doesn't matter

how I think.

It's more important that

you don't lead Yu Jie on.

You say,

what if

she takes it seriously.

You know

she's so fiery.

At that time,

you're done.

Sounds reasonable.

I know, right?

Xia Yu.

Come on, elevator.

Quickly, quickly.

Xia Yu.

I've called you several times.

Have you?

I'm too preoccupied to hear you.

Have you had any ideas

about teaming up with me to meet the principals?

Shall we talk about it

and have lunch by the way?

Look at my stomach.

I'm trying to lose weight. I can't eat.

Never mind.

You can just

order a fruit salad.

I need to get off.

It's a deal.

Bye.

She's serious about me?

Xia Yu,

I'd better go back.

You can explain it clearly to Yu Jie

on your own.

I'll...

Sit down.

You said what?

Sit down.

Sit right here.

Luo Dong, why are you also here?

I ask him to come.

He also wants to sit in on

what we're going to talk about today.

Yeah.

Alright, just order!

Xia Yu,

you said that

you're losing weight, didn't you?

Look at this page.

It's all about

green organic vegetables and fruits.

Which one would you like?

I'm managing my weight.

This looks nice. Vegetable salad.

All right.

What do you want to drink?

I recommend this

fresh kiwi juice.

It tastes sweet and sour. So nice!

I can do it myself.

You can choose what you want to eat.

All right.

Exactly.

Others may think

Xia Yu has injured his hand.

No one is talking to you here.

Why don't you injure your mouth?

Well,

I also want

the sweet, sour,

and fresh kiwi juice.

You don't like sweet and sour drinks,

do you?

Stay out of this.

What about it? Can't I change my taste?

So have you two.

Warp it up, okay?

We're here

to get down to the real business.

I didn't argue with her.

She stirred it up.

Stop it.

Yu Jie invites me

and I invite you.

Can we just

have a peaceful lunch

and focus on the serious matter?

Okay.

Okay.

A gentleman never argues with a crazy woman.

I beg your pardon?

It's my treat.

My treat.

You can order whatever you want today.

Why do you bring so many things?

I can't come empty-handed

on the first visit.

But it's too much.

Who on earth do you buy these for?

My mum or yourself?

It's the same.

Aunty likes it.

So do I.

So exaggerated.

Just like a married woman going back to her own home.

Come and have a sit.

Uncle Lei,

the staff of your company

are all peremptory.

First, that woman scolded me

on the plane.

Then the man surnamed Xia

hit me.

Then some Xiao Mo came to

threaten me.

Now here comes this man, Lu...

Lu what?

Giving me an attitude?

What?

Are you picking a fight?

Xiao Li, what are you doing?

He's one of us.

There seems to be a misunderstanding.

I'm just a pilot.

It seems that

I'm a little tired

after being so busy flying.

Well, Mr. Li.

I apologize.

Slow down, slow down. Just have a sit.

I have said that

he's one of us.

Qi Wen, don't worry.

He has a problem with Xia Yu,

not you.

Anyway, I'll keep in mind

what Xia Yu did to me.

You know what,

sooner or later,

he'll kneel before me

and beg for my mercy.

I won't give a damn.

And that Xiao Mo.

He did much worse.

How dare he secretly investigate me?

Uncle Lei, he did it to smear me.

Anyway,

now my uncle

has known it.

And he's furious.

After all, he's a major shareholder

of Air Genial

and also a board member.

It makes him lose face

to be investigated by

such a petty pilot.

It was indeed wrong

for Xiao Mo to do that.

What's your opinion, Qi Wen?

Xiao Mo is

a little arrogant,

but he's talented.

Talented people

tend to be proud and insolent for their ability.

He's not a bad person.

Don't take it to heart.

He's not bad?

Not that good.

Not that good.

He really

went too far.

How could he make up stories to get to Mr. Li?

He wouldn't be so bold

if he didn't have support

in our company.

Wait, Uncle Lei.

You said

someone is helping him?

Who?

Who is it?

Xia Bo Yang.

See?

Everyone in the company knows this.

How could Xia Yu and Xiao Mo

be so defiant

without Xia Bo Yang?

Xia Bo Yang

has been higher up than I am

all these while in the company.

We need to lower our head

in others' territory.

Enough of this.

Cheers...

Uncle Lei, we can't skip it.

You have to tell me the truth.

I have to have a good talk

with my uncle.

It can't always be Xia Bo Yang

who has the final say on the board.

Uncle Lei, trust me.

On this matter, my uncle knows clearly

who his friends are

and who the enemies are.

Why don't you

ally with my uncle?

If so, that Xia Bo Yang

will only get displaced.

Enough of this.

Let's have a drink.

Have a long drink.

Alright.

Captain Lu, you can really drink.

I'll invite you to my party next time.

No problem.

-Take care. -Let's get drunk.

Mind your steps. Take care.

Well.

This young man is just a jerk

Qi Wen,

don't let him get to you.
