What do you do

medical bills,

because I have spina bifida,

and I was born with a tumor
on my spine,

and it's, you know,
given me lots of complications.

Obviously,
it's very restricting

in terms of normal things,

let alone dance,
so how do you deal with that?

- There's always days where,
you know, I'm weaker,

but Justin has really helped me
to find my motivation.

He always keeps me going.

No matter, like, how many times
the spina bifida tries

to knock me down,
he's always, like,

"Come on, girl.
You've got this."

Like, and my teammates, like,
they're my number

one supporters.

was performing with Joey Fatone

and Lance Bass from 'NSYNC.

I'm 41 years old,
and I'm a stand-up comedian.

I was and raised in
the South Bronx in New York.

There is five of us kids,

and so my parents spent
most of the time

working two or three jobs
to take care of us.

And I did whatever odd jobs
came my way

so that I could help
pay the bills.

I was a barista.
I worked at a cell phone store.

I babysat
for a couple of families,

a temp at a law office.

I just didn't know
what I'm meant to do in life,

and then I discovered comedy,
and it was like that moment

in "Cinderella"
where the shoe fits.

As you can see,
it's a packed house in there.

I didn't really know
how to do it.

I didn't know how to start it.

I just knew I had
to get out on the stage.

I got that work ethic
from my parents,

so I didn't mind
having to work every job

under the sun during the day

so that I could pay the bills
and do stand-up at night.

I never thought I could love
anything more

than I love comedy.

- [raspberries]

But becoming a mom just
changed everything for me.

Aw, hi, bug.

I have to show him
that you can live your dreams,

and being able to be
on such an epic stage,

this means the world to me.

One day my son will see
I made it there.

I am here to win for my son.

I am here to win
for my family.

- My husband's a great guy.

just regular white either.

He's Midwest white,

I went to the source
to get my white man.

Like, I was not playing.
I was like,

"I'ma go
where they make y'all."

I was so nervous
to get married,

because my husband wanted us
to write our own vows,

and I grew up a tomboy.

I'm a little Puerto Rican girl
from the South Bronx, man.

I got a thick skin, and I was
so afraid that my vows

were going to be the most
New York gangster vows.

I was so afraid that I was
going to get up there

and be like,
"Yo, I dead-ass love you, son."

[laughter]

"On God, I love you, man."

[laughter]

And my husband is so excited

that he's married
a sassy Latina.

[laughter]

He loves it, and I get it.
I get it.

I'm the only Latin woman
he's ever been with,

so I'm his first.

[laughter]

Yeah, he's not
my first white guy.

[laughter]

I've been with
white guys before,

mainly to gather information,
bring it back to my people.

[laughter]

Luckily on my wedding day,

I actually had somebody to turn
to to help me with my vows,

because I was,
like, super nervous,

so I went to a better adult
than me,

my sister,
and me and my sister are tight.

We're identical twins.
I have a twin sister,

and I actually don't talk a lot
about being a twin,

because people ask really
stupid twin questions.

Like, whenever I say
I have an identical twin,

without fail, someone will go,
"Do you guys look alike?"

[laughter]

We are very different
personality wise,

me and my sister.
I'm very silly and playful.

My sister is very dark
and sarcastic,

and she has low self-esteem,

which is weird,
because she has my face.

[laughter]

Do you know what it's look
when someone that looks

exactly like you calls you up
and goes, "I feel so ugly"?

[laughter]

- That's good.
- That is our face.
